I could’ve sworn Orthos Prime was way worse than Guandao Prime but turns out they’re around the same, with the main difference being that Orthos is more geared towards status and Guandao is more geared towards crits

So fuck it I might just go and actually build Orthos Prime properly

It’d cost me a forma (this thing comes with no polarities, which is just rude) and a potato bc i haven’t invested one in it yet, so it’s not high priority right now, but I do kinda wanna make it work now that I know i could

I can’t believe I’m actually putting combo mods on the build plan tho

#i am Not a fan of combo as a game mechanic #nothing objectively wrong with it i just dont enjoy it #but considering i dont plan to be heavy attacking much #and considering how well weeping wounds + relentless combination work together on a status build for a slash weapon?#yeah im willing to go slightly combo focused on this one #i can get 133% status chance at base without the bonus from weeping wounds which is WILD #slash/viral build ofc and not ideal in that theyre about equal in damage numbers #but eh what can ya do #i dont actually remember which should be higher anyway #ANYWAY this is why i go for status over crit on melee weapons when i can #we just dont have that many crit mods for melee! status however #(the other reason being condition overload bc i cba with priming)#kata's chatter #space ninja fashion show #i highly doubt any of the polearms are weapons that can keep up in late game content but i dont care #bc im not in late game content! lemme have fun in the meantime #if it turns out even with a potato and forma the orthos prime is not viable even at my level then oh well #im willing to eat that loss #i Really wish we could make prime weapons look like their regular versions tho like we can with frames #regular orthos is just so much nicer
