#osc#juice art#paper ii#clover ii#nickel ii#cloverkel#cloverkel ii#mind you... i am the og cloverkeller...#i was into cloverkel BEFORE iii15#anyway i think everyone is getting them wrong#i don't mind some fluff but the ship is not inherently cutesy or fluffy#and clover should NOT be fixing nickel#what's compelling about them is how awful it would be#with clover giving nickel constant second chances as he just disappoints her over and over#resentment growing between the two over time#until eventually it all culminates in this insane explosive break up#because clover deserves to be angry.#and she deserves to be herself and not a savior for some man#especially not one as cruel as nickel#i actually like nickel i just think they really fucked him up in s3#he was already shitty in s2 but it was more clear he was just emotionally unintelligent#like he tried to comfort baseball when he was upset in mazed and confused#he was just. bad at it#but now he's straight up awful for no reason#screaming at clover until she cries and berating his pet until it KILLS ITSELF#and he's still supposed to be likable??#bullshit#anyway i rambled on a lot#my point is cloverkel is only good if it sucks and you acknowledge that it sucks
