so eso has had different purchasable assistants for years now, bankers and merchants and other services, nothing new. nothing i really cared to look into, until this week when they add this adorable banker. who is a dog. i am not immune to the charms of a cute fluffy dog.

for the first time i open the assistant tab of the store to see how much eri is, bc i've got 4500 crowns saved up! surely that's more than enough!

no this fucker's 5000 crowns. they all are.

a full chapter (which includes an absolute fuckton of new content) is 3500 crowns.

a dlc (vaguely 3/4 the content of a chapter) is 2000.

a dungeon pack (much smaller but, still a decent amount of content you actively engage with) is 1500.

and the mere convenience of not having to take ten seconds to port to a city to use a bank is 5000.

which, mind you, is *$40*. for the exact same cost as an entire chapter and dlc together, you can get one (1) mildly convenient dog
