I’ve seen some obvious mistakes in DBDA fanfics about how school works in the uk, but I can’t actually correct it because I’m Scottish and idk the specifics of how school works in England

I’m still pretty certain people leave school at either 16 or 17 in England too though, so they wouldn’t still be in their last year at 18

Especially if the last year is optional like it is in Scotland, you cannot convince me Charles Rowland would be staying on for sixth year

Unless Edwin was doing sixth year, Charles obviously wouldn’t want to be separated from him, but considering Edwin’s intelligence combined with his awful school experience he’d probably just finish all his exams as soon as possible and get the fuck out of there
