well to be honest guys. ive noticed that my opinion of myself is not very good

wade goes "i need you" and he literally grabs logan and is very clear and consistent on it, like i need you, all the time. i think logan needs that clarity and certainty and forwardness..honesty, someone to push him and need him. someone with transparent emotions that will get him out of his head,

and wade needs someone to be there for him no matter what a stable rock. it's like logan's no longer a puzzle piece for war, he's extremely important in wades world, his other half at the moment perhaps (bark)

wolverines entire thing is that he can take great beatings and come back seemingly fine and unaffected its like a very strong closed off person, a fortress that protects his emotions. i think he feels good having people to protect.

but that's also a bad thing because being really strong and feeling like you can take all the bullets you took in your life and bounce them off while at the same time suffering in silence seemingly unaffected by what happened to you is harmful to your psyche. and seeming this way to others as well is even a bigger issue, especially with logan who has the base need to be with people and be there for others.

and for that he NEEDS someone to dig deeper and pierce through his perfect disposition he is NOT easily open and easy going like wade he needs someone to see him and give him a chance and fight for him! wade will make way for himself in someones life, logan will go deeper into himself.

others could see you perfectly "unscathed" all the time and if they don't understand you or try to understand you and how much you can be dealing with complex emotions inside, they will grow resentful,you'll be rejected and treated badly.

wade is very fragile on the other hand, sure he regenerates, but the scars of his trauma are visible and harsh on him, he knows it , everyone knows it.

that's why he's so repulsive to others, his life beat him so hard that he can't control himself with his emotions and it weirds people out, they don't understand it and they get mad,upset,etc.

even scared just by looking at him, you survived trauma, but it shows on you how it affected you and it makes ME uncomfortable, that's pretty scary, you're different and you don't fit in anywhere. they judge him in the opposite way that logan is judged. your overwhelming presence is unnerving to me.

thats why wade hides with his suit his entire face, and the blood. dont notice me,my wounds, and the wounds i give to others. while logans suit screams "notice me!! i'm not okay!! i want people to see me!"

when he regenerates, wades body generates bad body tissue from his skin to his core. and the scars of all that trauma add new trauma so he's constantly re-traumatizing himself and it layers on. he doesn't get stronger or bounce it off himself, bad things such as trauma are just bad they create more bad and he's made out of all the bad things that happened during his life sort of, so he needs a lot of external support.

cause he has no strength left! all the trauma and SLS (shitty life syndrome) is like up to his gills. but he is very joyful and positive despite the harshness of life.

he is a little positivity clown bouncing around in wolverines fortress of solitude.

wolverine can sort of take attacks from life and endure and wade can attack life more easily, he's a positive, up beat, go getter. he loves the world and sees hope in it when there's none. and when the world doesnt love him back ,it crushes him and he cant take it. he doesn't understand how anything he tries he gets hurt by. but he never stops trying :)

logan shuts himself off from the cruel world with his perfect skin and metal bones, but the world has shut off from him as well. wade keeps being hurt and open to the world just like his open wounds and scarred body. even though the world hurts him through his openness.

hello had a thought this morning (i need to stop having them lol) abt a potential new angle of the oikoi au where hermione is sent to live with penelope when helen is abducted!

she knows her 'auntie' penelope and refuses to let anyone else be her primary caretaker. her father tries to reason with her to stay at home where she grew up, where its familiar, and where everyone knows her and will seek to protect her, but she refuses.

he cant stand seeing the tears that well in her eyes, just like helens. he arranges a convoy to send her and a very apologetic letter to the king and queen of ithaca, who have their own newborn to worry about.

shenanigans ensue. idk i really want to explore the 10 years of troy from penelopes perspective esp ruling a kingdom while raising her son (and now niece) and keeping herself together. and also another 10 years that is much darker and heavier and tackles her trauma bc she too became a monster rawr rawr rawr at some point, just differently.

and then hermione is sent on her merry way home when menelaus and helen send for her after writing a letter confirming their victory and shipwreck i think it was (diomedes had kindly written to her telling her the war was over and the ships had set sail homewards but she hadnt heard from anyone and the horizons were empty).

anyway now with newfound hope odysseus is merely having sat nav issues lol. she loads hermiones ship with gifts to welcome helen home including plenty of fabric and pieces of her own design

(something i reeeally want to add lol is that telemachus goes with her after winning a bet with penelope to let him go, and well he is his fathers son so he trots off and has a grand week with his aunt and uncle. menelaus tells him of his fathers cunning blah blah tele is even more pumped to meet his dad omg poor bby).

and then when he returns he suddenly finds several guests?? penelope is shook and trying to handle the situation with grace. tele is half hiding behind her and holding onto her robes, a hand is on his head and the other over he heart.

the 'guests' only increase in number and nothing is quite the same. at least his aunt ctimene and cousin eupehmia are still here. only a few years down the line they too are forced away and it really is tele and pen against 108 horrid men whos audacity only grows with their appetites.

AND THEN when tele goes to search for his dad the gut punch is the parallel of menelaus being like son ur father is the most badass lil shit ive ever known to son idk how to tell you but but hes not coming home. idk lots of crying here

a pred and prey who are enemies for non-vore related reasons.

It's rather that they have ideological differences.

But The pred thinks that the prey doesnt like them largely because they are a pred.

However, that is not the case. In fact, the prey finds predators frustratingly attractive. The prey tries their best to hide this.

The predator feels insecure about their eating habits, but they try to put on an aire of confidence. The prey seems somewhat disgusted (?) By the pred, but the pred still makes an effort not to hide their stomach, or conceal the fact that they eat prey.

They dont make a big deal about it. Sometimes their stomach looks a bit full, thats all. The prey seems to have an adverse reation every time though.

Meanwhile the prey is tortured by a pred who is clueless to how they affect the prey. Each time the prey notices the pred post meal, they cant stop imagining who they ate, imagining different people the prey knew, ending up in there... imagining themselves... in that stomach.

Does it make it better or worse? That the pred has no idea that they are so implicitly attractive. Just in the way they naturally act, when their belly is curved outwards, hands on their hips, annoyed for some external reason, all the while their stomach works so diligently. Being a predator is so normal to them, they hardly pay attention to their prey - it really is just food to them.

The pred may be weirded out if they knew how the prey felt.

And besides, the pred has some bad values. They're in a pyramid scheme or something. A red flag . The prey cannot get entangled any more than they have to be.

The pred is of the belief that the prey is simply a hater. Unfortunately their aversion to the pred only makes them more self conscious. The pred doesnt like to feel insecure, and so they are enemies.

thats all of the mcu interactions :[ (i have a lil blurb written from a tiktok trend based off the undertale “despite everything, its still you” thing, if youd also like to see that. it has dallas’ death in it ahahhaha *hides /j*)

i have a main thing for the MCU-DSU which is the ones where all the interactions take place but theres also a timeline where dallas entered the MCU and was immediately captured by HYDRA. he wasnt made into a winter soldier, they just experimented on him. it went on for around a year to three maybe before dallas finally sees an escape when the avengers are attacking the base. however the avengers enter and dallas has already killed all the scientists and soldiers in there (not many bc it was research and not military) and is just sitting, waiting for them. its obvious that dallas was a prisoner bc of the health condition and how he looks (also bc mental health. this is a slight relapse of a bad time. depression was worse for him and such). however over time, dallas heals and turns into the dallas into the interactions. (<- which is why i cant decide if its a main MCU-DSU thing or just a side au for my own entertainment. i like angst mk?)

oh and dally is a “hero” (he prefers not to be called a hero. vigilante is fine). he goes by his title Striker as a call back to his youth. he has magic bc of the Eye thing— mostly uses a limited amount of his magic so he doesnt get sent to the Raft or people target him. mostly soemthing similar to strings like spidey’s webbing (but not sticky obvi) (but he could copy it if he tweaked a few things), yelan’s skill/burst in genshin, and the metaphor strings used for dream in that one sad-ist animation. he also surprised the avengers and vigilantes w his expert use of weapons and firearms. his name striker was literally bc he has a good aim— he strikes like a snake (also a copperhead ref). he also,, idk,, FOUGHT IN A WAR??? skip made sure all of the crew knew how to defend themselves so… (its sad that 12yo had to learn how to use knives and guns, not for hunting, but for self-defense— aiming to kill.)

Finsihed GO2 yesterday and its taken me a while to put my thoughts into words but heres my (very long) takeaway from the end of s2:

[spoilers for the last 15 mins of 2.06 beneath the cut]

Whilst neil's 'quiet, gentle and romantic' feels now somewhat misleading i think it is accurate in a sense; its quieter than season one at least. Season one is more about these external pressures - it's the end of the world, obviously - but our focus really for much of the series is on aziraphale and crowley's relationship and how those pressures and that situation changes their relationship: pulls their desire to be with eachother, to be 'on their own side' into the open. And that's great, you know, that spurs on their relationship, but I think the conflixts of series 2 are - at least definitely by the end - far more internal, and whilst thats upsetting, I think its important because it exposes some of the flaws in their relationship, the things that they fundamentally dont align with eachother on. As nina and maggie point out, in all the 6000 years they've been spending time with eachother they dont properly communicate, they dont talk about their real feelings and perceptions of eachother, of heaven, of hell, etc.

What that final scene really shows is that aziraphale, whilst i dont think he is under any illusion about how cruel and flawed heaven can be, he still believes that angels are (or can be), and crucially that he is 'one of the good guys', and he cant get past this idea that hell and demons are 'the bad guys'. The part of crowley that he is really drawn to is his kindness, his refusal to actively harm people, and i think aziraphale doesnt understand how crowley wouldnt jump at the chance to be an angel again, he doesnt understand that falling affected crowley, it changed him - i think aziraphale almost wants crowley to go back to being that angel that we see at the start of series 2. In his eyes, what the metatron is offering him is the best possible solution, he can try to fix heaven himself from the inside - so that he can make a difference and protect both himself and crowley - and he can have crowley by his side as an angel, as one of the good guys.

Crowley on the other hand doesnt want that - he's done with heaven and hell alike, in fact he's very self-centred: not in the sense he only cares about himself, but his care only really extends to himself and aziraphale. And we see that throughout both series: hes ready to abandon the earth and go off to alpha centauri with aziraphale, and than this season with his reluctance at helping gabriel - hes so set on this idea of runninh away and he refuses to accept that aziraphale isnt ready to let go of heaven. Running away has never interested aziraphale, he doesnt want to abandon the earth - but crowley doesnt listen to that. The problem in this scene is that neither of them actually listen to what the other one is proposing.

I think, it's easy, or its very possible to come out of that final scene feeling like aziraphale is in the wrong - crowley has confessed his feelings and aziraphale's 'rejected' him, but actually thats not what happening at all. Throughout the scene, both of them are very clear that they love eachother, they want to be with eachother: see crowley's 'we could be an us' but also aziraphale's 'i need you... come with me'. So what they're disagreeing on is not the possibility of their relationship, its the circumstance.

And then... the kiss. The kiss is such a beautiful moment for me, not because i think its positive in any way, i actually think its almost uncomfortable to watch - you can see aziraphale recoiling almost, and yes theres a bit of a internal battle there as he goes to put his arms around crowley and then stops himself, but when they pull apart you can see he's almost angry. He wants it, yes, but hes angry at crowley for going about it in that way, at that moment. And that kiss, really its not a grand romantic gesture, its not a 'ive been hiding these feelings and this is the only way i can express them' - crowley's desperate, hes angry and this is really his last ditch effort, to tempt aziraphale, really. It's almost manipulative, its using something that couldve been beautiful, couldve been something they both wanted for a long time to bring aziraphale around to his side - to say 'look, look at what you're giving up here'.

Essentially, they have spent literally thousands of years failing to talk to eachother and a fall out like this (whilst it was absolutely devastating) is sort of required before they can truly be together.

She seems like she would be a vegan or vegetarian. And all of her classmates (the ones that cook at least) like to challenge themselves by making food that fits her diet for her to try <3

Lets really cut the shit, its for dei and supposedly because amazon requested it. Which adds nothing to the setting. This philosophy adds nothing to any setting. It cant lend to good historical analysis, character, world building and etc. it only corrupts what others have made and thinks itself, its equal Making a character female adds nothing and is nothing except validation for some of the worst traits of the worst kind of people. The kind of people who need that level of external validation for themselves. And don't look at the chosen elements, but the unchosen ones, like sex and race, leading to the only value they want from this character are values they and no one else can achieve, lavish power over others.

It means they will disregard their own few lore rules, that being the emperor and his words are canon. Furthermore many of us see it as a sign of things to come, and want to remove our support for the company rather than validating what we see as bending the knee to a culture that has increasingly stopped hiding its true colors of cruelty, nihilism, misanthropy and considers even a virtue to counter balance their evil as absurd.

Listen, if you're saying the brief inclusion of female custodes to a side-panel of a codex is a game company purposely alienating the "dedicated fans" or whatever, I don't think you're all that dedicated. So, an incredibly small detail like that changed is... bad? For some reason?

I've been into warhammer since 2010, man, and I've been through so much "this decision will be what ends 40k" talks. You remember when people hated Dan Abnett's guts for introducing the Perpetual storyline into the Horus Heresy? Or when people were screeching in disgust because pre-Great Crusade Fulgrim had wives? Or gosh, I remember when Necrons first got their major update and people were saying it completely ruined the lore, and selling their armies on Ebay out of spite.

Backstory:

Patchy:

Setting: A basement which is underneath a house that is located in a suburb. The house is old and has newer houses built around it. The street has new roads and new pavements, with newer streetlamps. The basement that Patchy is in is cold and damp.

Goal: Patchy wants to die because of the things that are happening and that have happened to him over his life.

Challenges and Conflicts: Patrick isn’t letting Patchy die because of Patrick's internal conflict which that becomes Patchy’s external conflict, and his internal conflict would be that if he did die, he wouldn’t be able to do what his mum told him to stop, which is biting his nails/skin.

Talent: Patchy is good at putting his mind in a different place so he doesn't have to deal with what's going on.

Patrick:

Setting: The house above the basement hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time and Patrick has no desire to clean it. The suburb that the house is around, that Patrick notices, is one that has a neighborhood watch and that celebrates winning sports games with a child-friendly party.

Goal: Wants to keep Patchy alive because he has guilt from when his dad died, Patrick was playing with the gas tank as a kid (8) for a project he was working on, he left it unattended and his dad, who was lighting the fire, causes an explosion. Patrick sees what he had done and seeing Patchy, he sees his dad's dead and burnt body and he wants to save him.

Challenges and Conflicts: Patchy wants to die but Patrick wants to keep him alive. Patchy being Patrick's external conflict by trying to die. Patrick's Internal conflict is his need to try and save Patchy because of what happened to his dad, and he doesn't want to face the guilt.

Talent: Patrick is able to hide his true intentions and lie.

Patchy:

With Patchy I wanted to go for a very specific look. I took inspiration from Tusk, Patchwork man and the Russian sleep experiment. Patchy's environment is present in the word cloud because I believe it shows how he grew up which is how he ended up where he ended up. He has a limited color pallet because he is only really muscle, which is a darker red and then a few different skin patches. The reasoning for why Tusk (Walrus) is there is because of the mutilation that is present in the movie, different skin patches on the walrus body and the small stitches, I think its a perfect representation of what Patchy is too look like (Not a walrus but different skin patches and stitches). There are nails that have been bitten because what I have in mind is that: Patchy was a nail biter which caused his mum to get angry with him and she locked him in the basement that he was scared of, all to try and stop him from biting his nails. One day she went to hospital because of her nasty smoking habits and she completely forgot about her son. This nail biting habit turned into him biting skin and then turned into him biting his skin off. The word cloud I think represents who Patchy is and the effect that him being the basement has turned him into something that doesn't represent human.

Patrick Kilker:

Patrick Kilker to me is a very sad and guilt ridden man. After getting more into his backstory, and giving him a good reason for wanting to help Patchy down in the basement, my view on him changed. He is stuck with the guilt from his dads passing, and he cant help but want to help Patchy because he sees his dad. Even though the way that he does all this, he has good intentions, this doesn't excuse his actions. Patrick lives in a suburb where I imagine he finds it to be very boring. He lives a normal life, part from the fact that he pretty much killed his dad and that his family doesn't like him because of that. I think this would help feed into what he did, living a mundane life probably would make someone lose their mind because of how boring it would be. Patrick has a very odd color pallet and this is because I have gone with colors that are typical in a supermarket. I see him working at a supermarket, where I imagine he finds it very boring and tormenting because of the people that he would have to speak to. I work in a supermarket and I decided to take inspiration from what they wear, the pants and the shoes and also how they hold themselves.

what if... hear me out... human and animal lives are not equivalent in value or experience (by the being i mean) and should not use the same metrics in determining quality of life and end of life decisions??? Nobody is saying that because these things apply in this way to livestock they should also be applied that way to humans. It's so disingenuous to say nobody knows or cares about this cow and that's why people are suggesting to put it down because the reality is the complete opposite. Advocates for animal (and ESPECIALLY livestock) well-being are universally frustrated at the delay or avoidance of euthanasia committed all too frequently even by well-meaning people. Livestock are not smart animals. They don't have any sense of "well if I don't continue now I won't be able to do or experience these things in the future." No concept of life expectancy. They live in the moment, or better or worse- all too often an animal (often like a sport horse) will be put through absolutely inhumane levels of pain for extended periods of time just because they will come out healed at the end of it. You can tell someone with a broken arm that they will heal and it will be okay- the animal only knows that it hurts. And THAT'S just the physical aspect. You have to remember that this isn't an omnivore or a hunter- it is a PREY animal. Its entire survival, and its entire sense of safety and well-being, depends on it being able and feeling able to MOVE, to run away. I cant believe im having to write this out but: being physically disabled has a DIFFERENT AND MORE SEVERE EFFECT on prey or livestock animals than it does on HUMANS. come the fuck on.

Anyway, no TRUE livestock or animal advocate would ever campaign for euthanasia to be delayed. We are so far from that being a remotely relevant issue that it's not worth considering.

No livestock animal - no horse, no cow, nothing - has EVER been put down too early. It DOESN'T HAPPEN.

It's not that disabled people don't face the kinds of issues mentioned above. But drawing a false equivalency between how those issues affect humans and how they affect animals isn't going to help anybody, and, though I know it wasn't the intention, animals will suffer for it.

*IN THIS CASE, it doesn't sound like the calf is in physical pain or distress. But the mental distress that might be caused by not feeling physically able to flee from predators and whatever effects it might have on the animals social relations within its herd must also be considered. I'm not saying this calf SHOULD be put down- it really sounds like it's doing fine. But that evaluation should occur day by day. Every day quality of life must be re-evaluated, even if circumstances or external factors haven't changed. And the people who don't know about livestock and don't know the situation and yet are insisting the animal NOT be put down in a misguided attempt to defend disabled people is doing a grave disservice to

Even from the people or animals they trust the most they will mask as much as they can. You need to know what to look for and you need to search for it, carefully and intentionally, every day (in an animal with a health condition as major as this). teehee ive returned... ok so now im in college and just like I thought, I am not a fan. the academics are fine but theres a decent amount of work all the time and its stressful to me cause it feels never ending. I will do my assignments weeks in advance but it seems to never give me enough time to relax. well not that I can relax at my dorm, my roommates are so annoying and loud and are all messes and project it outward. however, I did stop sh around september 2022 so its been four months since then. but also whenever something happens where another person is upset and takes it out on me or theres a somewhat valid problem I cant help but think about doing it which is normal. but I think its gonna come back soon and im fine with that. it makes me happy. its almost like a form of self care for me cause I can actually get all the bad feeling out of my system and just onto my arm instead. like its fine and I truly think that. anyways another issue though related to how bad my dorm is because of my roommates is that I finally told my parents about how terrible it is and that I dont even sleep there anymore (but I only go back home like once or twice a weekend each month when I have breaks) and I fully am just going home cause I have break or need to catch up on homework... but now they just think im not addressing the issue and not facing my dorm situation which, uh yeah obviously im not going to. when I dont come home on weekends on breaks to get away from the dorm, I just stay at someone else's house or dorm on school days and weekends. like??? I literally do not have the capacity to be there. but now im getting really triggered at home too because I told my parents about my issue... which why are they responding like that. id rather just off myself than have to live at my dorm or home. I really need to sh. I know my living situation issues are temporary but they make me feel really bad and become unproductive and fat. all I do is hide away in my room at my dorm all day when im not out for classes and gorge of fat disgusting pig food. im so fat now. I need to loose weight im always bloated and fat looking. if I was skinny I would at least be 3/4 happy inside my body and the 1/4 of unhappy in caused my external forces that make me upset inside can just be fixed my sh. tbh I need to make my sh not eating and working out too much instead of cutting cause hiding the cuts is so annoying like I dont feel like wearing long sleeves in the summer again. I need to not eat any processed foods and get on track to just have no appetite (I didn't for like a week long time period in the beginning of January). anyways im just really upset now and turning to my venting on here cause I dont want to bother anyone with my problems anymore since clearly telling my parents the most basic issue ever is not being received well. like really. just make you child happy. but nooo they dont know about how suicidal I am and any of my other issues cause I dont tell them. they just dont dress anything either. like I need a breast reduction and my mom was just like well talk about that later... well it is much later now and guess what, still haven't talked about it. id rather just die right now. I cant endure 3 more years of college at the place im going right now. I just cant live in the state I do right now and need to move. everything would be solved. but for now, all I can do is loose 20 pounds and be skinny and smart so I can exist in a physical state thats tolerable to me.
