I love imaging Dick, Tim, and Damian sneaking around trying to meet Jasons new gf because they just wanna be involved in his life and they know if they they leave it to Jay they wont meet her u til they're married with kids 😭
AND ‘omg us meeting Jason’s siblings when’
AN: Ngl I love this idea too, its so shitty of them but they have the best of intentions.
Damian
A boy no older than 14 with eyes that pierce the soul was not what you'd expected to find on Jason's couch the very first time he'd left you alone there. Jason had to dip out unexpectedly early, and had promised you run of the place until he got back so you'd slept in as long as you could and were on your way to make breakfast when you're greeted by the hell-child.
Once your initial fright wears off you realise you recognize him from a photo Jay had showed you which makes you feel slightly more at ease.
“Good morning? Damian right?” You offer as you pass him, be-lining for the coffee machine, you're gonna need caffeine if you're meeting any member of Jay's family for the first time. “Can I get you anything?”
“Alfred says it's unbecoming to sleep past 9.” Besides the initial glare he'd graced you with as you emerged from the bedroom, he doesn't even look up at you, his eyes glued to the pages of a book. Like brother like brother, you guess.
“Oh, well. Good thing Alfreds not here then.” You add a small laugh, trying to inject some humour to the situation. Damian does not respond in kind. “Is that a no? I think there's some chocolate cereal around here somewhere.”
“What do you do for work that allows you to be in my brother's home in the middle of the day?”
Jeez this kid is no-nonsense. “Or I could make pancakes, I make really good pancakes.”
“And tell me what exactly are your intentions with my baby brother?” Baby?
“I think there's some chocolate chips around here somewhere. Jason says you like chocolate. Chocolate pancakes?”
“Do you always avoid questions?”
“Are you always so intense?”
He slams the book closed and you nearly jump on the spot. He finally looks at you, really looks at you and as you stare back his features begin to soften slightly.
“I’ll have a coffee.”
You're certain from the sly look on his face that he's probably not allowed coffee. He certainly doesn't need any. But screw it, he's not your kid and if it gets him to like a little, you'll take the risk.
So you pour two coffees and join him on the couch. His questions do not cease until Jason returns about an hour later. He couldn't care less about the coffee, but he does care about Damian breaking in to interrogate his partner and immediately kicks Damian out.
Dick
Dick finds out about your existence from one of Damian’s letters, and he's subtle but pushy about meeting you. Not that you're aware. He keeps ‘dropping by’ Jason's apartment ‘just to see his lil brother’, no other reason but is told to get lost or downright ignored anytime you're there, until he decides to cut out the middle man and turn up at your home instead.
“Let me tell you, you are a hard person to get a hold of.” He informs as he invites himself through your front door.
“Um, hello Dick?” As you stare at his lush hair and sculpted abs you wonder what Alfred feeds these boys.
“Yep! I can't stay so I’ve gotta make this quick.” he gestures for you to come closer, speaking in a playful, conspiratorial whisper. “Jay doesn't know I'm here.”
That would be why he can't stay, Jason is due at your door any minute now.
“But you two seem to be getting pretty serious and I think it's important that we all get to know each other. You following?”
You nod, and he gives you the perkiest, most genuine smile. That or he has that exact look practised to a T. From what Jay tells you, either is possible.
“So, Barbara and I, that's my wife” You nod once more, you're aware of Barbara also. “have booked a table at Casa Gotica for Thursday night. We need you to get Jason there without letting on that it's a double date.”
“I don’t know.” you finally give your nodding head a break. “Jay and I don’t lie to each other.”
“Right. I can't begrudge that. Very glad to hear he's picked an honest one.” He takes a moment to straighten his thoughts, but his moment is cut short but the echo of Jason’s combat boots approaching your door. Dick’s eyes rapidly scan the room for a secondary exit before he settles on an open window. “Don't think of it as lying, think of it as omitting the truth. Whatever you have to do just be there for 6.30. Oh, and it's great to meet you!”
“You too.”
“Thursday, 6.30!”
Before you can agree he’s gone, presumably scaling the side of your building as Jay steps inside.
Tim
Tim was actually the first to be aware of you and your relationship with his brother, however, the very real possibility of being gutted by Jason for snooping in his personal life was too high for him to make a move.
But you seeking him out is a different story; or rather, you being the first to say hi when you bump into each other in line at the grocery store is different. It would be rude not to respond to your attempts at initiating a conversation.
“Hello, hi, are you Tim? You don't know me but I’m Jasons partner. Its so great to meet you.”
“I know who you are.” He states rather ominously, eyes darting around behind you. “Is he here?”
“No, but he's picking me up after.” His shoulders visibly ease.
“Cool cool cool.” He’s suddenly much more personable. “So, I hear you're into…”
That chatting doesn't dry or lul at all as the queue dwindles and both buy your groceries. He waits with you until you get confirmation from Jay that he's on his way. He's easily the chillest sibling you've met thus far.
When Jason arrives he gets out of the car to open the boot and passenger door for you as always, but not before he thrusts his phone in your face. “Where is he?”
Displayed on the screen is a selfie of Tim with you in the background, you absolutely do not remember it being taken.

Batboy Meets Batfam
First | Previous | Next
"Relax Batty, it's just one dinner." Dick parked the car inside the Wayne family manor's garage.
"But I hate billionaires. Can't we just go to Batburger and go home." Danny whined slumping in his seat.
"What's so bad about it? He's your grandfather now." Dick asked.
"The last billionaire I met was the only other of my kind. And he was awful. Tried to kill me, clone me, marry my mom, kill my dad, ruined my life. That last one was something he achieved." Danny's wings materilized and wrapped around him as he sulked.
"I know it's hard Danny and I can't promise no one will ever try to hurt you like that again but I can promise I'll stick by you. I can also promise to kick the butt of anyone who tries messing with you." Dick said ruffing Danny's black hair that popped out from under his leathery wings.
"Still don't wanna go." As Danny said this he began to shrink.
Dick sighed, he had learned recently that Danny was a shifter of some kind. It was useful to hide his identity but he would also use it to get out of doing things. When Dick told Danny to clean his room or study Danny would shrink to the size of a toddler and say "Im baby" to get out of it. Dick is ashamed to admit that he's let Danny get away with it because baby bat pictures are precious and worth their weight in gold. He has a wallet full of pictures now.
But Dick has to put his foot down this time.
"Danny being little won't get you out of this. Do you really want to meet your new family like this?" Dick asked.
Danny huffed and turned in his now ill-fitting hoodie the size of a 3-year-old.
"Alright come on." Dick gave up scooping the toddler-sized teen under one arm and walking into the manor. "Alfred still has Bruce's old baby clothes somewhere."
"Ahh!"Danny yelped.
"What? Don't want that? If you show up as a baby, they will think you are one. You know Tim Drake is going to be there. He's going to be in the same school as you. Do you want him to think you're a baby?" Dick said holding the kid at eye level.
In surrender, Danny grew back to his normal size.
Dinner was oddly quite as everyone studied Danny closely.
Barbara was the least concerned as he talked about work with Dick and pushed Danny a bowl of strawberry salad. She wanted good aunt points. Danny would love her the most.
Cassie studied Danny's features. It was almost creepy how much he looked like Dick. She'd believe it if Dick was his biological father. Except for the eyes. Danny had a very particular eye color they were blue in the center but kind of had a green ring on the iris. The condition was called central heterochromia and it's rare.
Damian wasn't glaring like he usually would. He looked almost wide-eyed at Danny but remained silent.
Jason was absent as always apparently he was moved by Dick's announcement.
Then again Danny was supposed to be a surprise.
Tim and Danny seem to strike a cord immediately. Danny despite how silly he was the teen was very intelligent. Tim wasn't as subtle as he wish, mostly because Danny cornered him in conversation.
"So you're more used to living in a small town?" Tim smiled politely.
"Hmm? I didn't say that exactly. I said Im just new to the city." Danny responded.
"So you're from a different city? Metro or Star?"
"Neither, It's nowhere you'd know. Not really notable."
"You're going to be family soon, of course i want to know."
They went back and forth for a while. Tim was probably irritated after finding nothing about Danny's identity. And that meant Bruce was probably suspicious as well. Dick had to bet that Bruce's overactive paternal instincts would overwrite his need to investigate.
"So Danny, have you heard of the new vigilante in Bludhaven? The one they call Batboy?"Bruce asked wiping his mouth with a napkin as he ate.
This was the question Danny was waiting for.
"Of course! Have you seen the pictures on social media! Everyone is talking about him. Like, he has wings like a bat. Do you know what I'd do to get that power?! I mean he's not Superman but come on its so cool. We don't have metas-Is that what you call them? Yeah, metas. We don't have them where I'm from so I didn't think I'd ever met one. Dick said he met him the last time he saw Nightwing and promised to get me a picture but he didn't and he said he forgot." Danny put on a pretty convincing fanboy routine.
"I see. So Dick told you he's friends with Nightwing?" Bruce probed.
"He didn't need to tell me. Nightwing found me after I ended up in Bludhaven. I was pretty banged up and he parched me up and took me to the police station. I tried to leave but he told me that Detective Grayson would look out for me." Danny said digging through his salad to pick out the fruit and nuts.
"What about your parents?" Bruce asked softly.
"Bruce," Dick said in warning.
"Its fine...my parents didn't want me anymore. I can't go back. They'd probably kill me. But it doesn't matter anymore, they aren't here." Danny said stiffly feeling uncomfortable for saying a bit of truth.
They say the best way to lie is to have a bit of truth. Danny disagreed. The best way to lie is to have no truth, so they can't tell the difference.
Dick pulled the teen closer as Danny pulled his hands inside this hoodie hiding one of the burn scars on his arm but just enough to show that they were there.
Bruce didn't say another word.
Damian seemed to make his mind up at some point and joined in the conversation.
"Do you eat meat, Nightingale? I've noticed you haven't touched anything with it." Damian sounded oddly cordial.
"Ew, no. I don't eat meat. My friend always said meat was murder and taught me about how evil slaughterhouses were. We once raided a local farm to-oop. I forgot there are detectives at the table. I promise I'm a law-abiding citizen and not an eco-terrorist...anymore." Danny smiled too innocently.
Damian nodded in understanding. They had found common ground. That still doesn't mean he liked Nightingale. But he couldn't fight him since he didn't seem to know anything about their vigilante lifestyle.
Damian had to begrudgingly admit that Danny's presence was welcome. Soothing even.
It didn't matter. He and Drake still had bigger plans. Finding out who this "Batboy" was. They just needed Dick give up some information about the bat metahuman.
Tim had his suspicions that it was Danny but Batboy had stark white hair with black streaks and green eyes. Not to mention wings.
They would have to agree to disagree.
"Danny you have to eat something other than fruit. Eat the rest of the salad." Dick tried to sound stern but caved almost immediately when Danny pretended he didn't hear that.
Bruce internally sighed. Does he step in and help or let Dick figure it out. How does one be a grandpa to a non-vigilante who you can't threaten with no patrols?
*Bonus*
Danny when he see fruit.

baby daddy jason for when the one parent-teacher conference the sweet unassuming teachers like “mrs. Todd” and you’re “uhhh we’re not married”, but Jason, despite not being up to the commitment, likes the idea. He definitely would not correct the teacher like you immediately would.
Actually idk where I was going with this I had an idea but then it kinda stopped soz
MINORS DNI 18+
You’re not even sure how it happened. In your opinion, it’s best that BABY DADDY!JASON TODD stay far away from you and your daughter. Maybe he sifted through your mail the last time he snuck in, maybe he intercepted your calls, maybe he followed her to school to add himself to her emergency contacts—all completely feasible when dealing with someone so meticulously thorough and annoyingly committed. You’re face to face with him outside your daughter’s teacher’s door.
“What are you doing here?” you seethe in a whisper, avoiding a scene.
Jason’s face twists in feigned confusion, pointing to the flyer on the wall. He reads out its words as his finger follows along, “‘Parent teacher conference.’” He points to himself finally. “Parent.” A smug curl forms on his lips, standing tall in outsmarting you even though it’s not what you asked.
Your nostrils flare as you suck in a breath. Unfortunately, Jason is exceptional at getting on your nerves. You wonder how he managed knocking you up. Advancing on him, he mirrors you, meeting you in the middle as you engage him, “Jason, I don’t want you here—“
The door swings open, and you jump in place, leaning away abruptly. Jason coolly inclines back, shoving his hands in his pockets, he’s got nothing to hide. Your daughter’s teacher greets you both with a cheerful grin, beckoning you in. “You made it! Come on in, come on in.” You exchange a warning glance with Jason, but you clutch your purse strap and duck in while he trails leisurely after.
The meeting goes well, the teacher rants and raves about your daughter, especially about her art skills, showcasing that talent with pictures of it. You open your mouth to speak, but Jason beats you to it, “Takes after her mother, huh? What do you know?” he says with pride, and you witness a genuine grin on his lips as he leans forward to take a closer look at the mess of glitter and stickers in the teacher’s hands.
Your heart skips a beat, and you fiddle with your hands in your lap. One reason you try to stay away from Jason is because of times like these. Makes you second guess your decision to end things with him, and that’s exactly what’s most dangerous.
“So, Mrs. Todd“ the teacher’s voice breaks you from your stupor, gaze snapping up to her as you furrow your brows.
“Oh, we’re not married.” you object, interrupting her starkly, and she flushes, setting the artwork down with a nervous smile.
“Oh! My mistake. You two just seem so close…”
Jason sighs, raising an arm to wrap around the back of your chair. “Well, not yet.” he says with certainty, and you turn your attention to him, glancing at his arm placement and how the sleeve of his biker jacket brushes your hair. His hand cups your shoulder, which you stare at, and glare when he starts stroking your skin with his thumb. What makes you the most angry is not the entitlement to touch you—which he’s always had—but how he’s clearly messing with you on purpose. This is just like his brand of cruelty, embarrassing you further in a social situation. You tune out whatever crap he’s telling the teacher about the fake wedding and you peel his arm away from you, shoving it back into his lap.
“No, that’s not happening.” you object again, harsher this time and Jason merely scoffs through his nose as you deal with the poor confused teacher.
After the meeting, you’re practically corralled out of that room bickering. You somehow end up on the back of his bike instead of in the car you drove here. Somehow, further, letting him inside your place. Shouting over each other about how inconsiderate he is, and how serious you are, curtly removing your outerwear.
“Would it really be that bad?” he yells, that loud voice that gets you weak in the knees booming through your apartment. You’re lucky your babysitter still has your daughter. “Being married to me, would it really be that bad?”
“It’s not about that, Jason! You know that!”
Your objections are drowned out in how his big body herds you into your bedroom, how his hands push you down to rip off your jeans. How he palms your mouth to shut you up while he’s kissing on your neck, clumsily searching for the give in between your legs. His tip eases in as you lazily bat at his hefty shoulders and thick biceps. “Don’t wanna be Mrs. Todd, huh?” You relax under him the longer he’s inside you, rutting into you with patience as you jerk your head away from him. “What’s wrong with that? Don’t want my name? Don’t wanna be a happy little family?”
Your fist bangs against his rotator cuff and he laughs, husky and light in your ear. His teeth latch onto your lobe, playfully tugging on it while he bottoms out, and you emit a noise from your throat.
“Mrs. Todd,” he chides, “So wet for your husband. S’almost like you want it.”

OWO, you take prompts? How about this?
Danny was born a premature and with a heart defect. The Fenton's try to make a clone so they can get his heart transplanted without fear of organ rejection. But they end up making a full on baby and don't have it in them to kill another version of their son just to save their original boy. Danny ends up pulling through and the clone gets filed as a twin that no one noticed was still in when Maddie was in the hospital. So Maddie "had him at home" and went back so he could be medically examined. The new parents feel ashamed of what they initially were going to do and give the child to a cousin who couldn't conceive.
Tim Drake doesn't know he's adopted until a DNA test reveals that the 'Meta' running around Gotham is his 'twin brother'. And the babies he has, that he does babysitting gigs with, are his twin's 'children'.
(I don’t exactly take prompts, but I don’t mind if you send them. Also, I’m going to assume that the twin’s “children” are Dan and Dani, since that seems to be what people prefer.)
“… are you serious?” Tim asked through the phone.
“Yep,” Dick said, sounding like a mixture of amusement and concern, “How do you feel about it?”
Tim thought about it and then responded, “I guess it makes sense why my parents neglected me so much, since I’m adopted.”
“Awww, baby bird…”
“I’m fine, Dick,” Tim said. He picked Dante and set him on a baby chair. Said child stared at him with electric blue eyes, scowling with his pudgy cheeks as if he wanted to tear Tim apart with his nonexistent teeth. Tim rubbed his chubby cheek with a finger before moving away, still holding the phone to his ear as he picked up the other baby.
Dick continued, “Yeah… also, Bruce says that he’s sorry that he checked your blood without telling you.”
Tim snorted, “No, he didn’t.” Bruce was never sorry for that kind of stuff.
Dick sighed. “Yeah, I lied. Sorry. But he did look guilty! He didn’t want to tell you at first, but Jason convinced him so I’m the one telling you right now.”
Tim hummed, picking up little Ella, who was stubbornly holding onto a small cardboard box. Tim let her hold it and placed her onto the baby chair next to her brother, who immediately reached out for her. It was kinda funny seeing how clingy he was compared to his sister.
“We have more information too. We tracked down the new meta and we’ve been looking into his routes. We suspect that he’s living around here, in Bristol,” Dick said. “We think he’s living in an apartment, at XXX on XXXX street, possibly with a roommate named Jazz.”
Tim paused, suddenly hyper aware of the fact that he was in the same building, babysitting a bunch of kids on the same street, who also lived with another woman named Jazz. “Uhh. What else?”
“We think he lives on the third floor and possibly also works at a pizza delivery place? Or maybe a fast food restaurant? He’s been flying back and forth between two places besides the apartment.”
Tim began to sweat. “Uh… anything else?”
“There’s a high chance that his name is Danny Nightingale, and Jasmine Nightingale is in on the fact that he’s a meta.”
Fuck.
Tim looked at his niece and nephew with a new light, eyes wide. Ella beamed at him, giggling while Dante just glared.
Welp. At least Bruce would be happy to be a grandfather now. Even if it was to Tim’s secret meta twin brother.

How would the batfamily react if they found out that the singer/influencer reader was dating one of the villains?, imagine the reader has friends with benefits from the villains
(What kind of jokes do you like?)
Batman is so scary, even bullets are afraid to hit him. That's why they aimed for his parents. (sorry)

You heard that? That’s the collective sign of every Batfamily member sighing in disappointment and collective glare towards Bruce. Like father like child, of all genes to be inherit you inherited his taste (ಠ_ಠ). Getting entangled with a villain is not something new in the Batfamily because they are either related to one (Cassandra, Stephanie, Damian) or romantically involved with one (Bruce with Talia, Poison Ivy, Catwoman and sometimes Harley. Dick with Catwoman II. And Jason with… you know what let’s not talk about Talia and Jason. That one is weird on all levels).
If you’re romantically involved with someone who does not know Batman’s real identity then it’s not much of a problem. The family is just going to visit said enemy and scar them for the rest of their mortal life. It will be so bad they will just quit being a villain and leave Gotham all together. If you’re romantically involved with someone who knows Batman’s real identity, then it will be a chaotic event. Bruce is already fighting villains and now he’s fighting his blood pressure too.
Riddler would be so smug about it. He would rub it in every Batfamily member’s face and would constantly drop your name in fights like ‘How would they react if you hurt me?’ or ‘Oh they will be mad if I come back bruised!’. Riddler would be so insufferable like the madman he is. If you’re dating Harvey Dent, you’re technically dating two persons (in most media depictions, Harvey is the same age as Bruce so let’s go with that one). His incorruptible part is basically filling every space that Bruce neglected to fill. He’ll teach you about legals and laws, tell you stories about their days and he protects you from those who dare to come close. His corrupted part, Two face, is kind of mean. He will never miss the chance to remind you of the potential parental issues you have.
Headcanon that Harley will make it her mini mission to keep you away from Joker because let’s face it, Joker will not love you. He will only use you and break you like how he did to Harley.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter if the relationship you have is good or bad. To the family it’s a parasite that needs to be terminated immediately before it grows. You’re grounded. You’re not allowed to go out alone. If you don’t live in the estate anymore, you will just randomly find your apartment sold to someone else and you’ll be taken back to the estate. No metahumans in Gotham rule but Damian already has the permission from Bruce to have the Titans stay for a while as reinforcements. Even Jason is patrolling more and everyday now he will make a report to the estate.
During those days they were full on babying you to the point of infantilization. They’ll give you ‘the talk’ especially if you’re in a friends with benefits relationship with a villain and sometimes they’ll go so far into showing you every other person they had been with. They are not above poisoning the relationship too. They’ll show you expertly doctored photos showing their ‘infidelity’. Guilt trip you into reading old cases and gaslight you. You’re not in love with them, you were just manipulated into thinking that you are.
But of course, what is a Wayne if not stubborn? Month of being grounded and being in heavy watch and you’re done. You already have their shifts memorized down to who checks on you at night. After hours once you’re certain that everyone is now asleep or busy on their patrols (or finished checking your room), you start acting out the plan of running away. You passed each security detail without triggering them, passed every room without alerting anyone, and passed Titus without waking him up. However before you can even reached the doorknob, you heard Dick and Jason behind you:
“Looks like someone took lessons from Catwoman”
“You know we saw your lover today. We were going to let them go but I guess no one’s picking you up anymore”
The next time you wake up, you are greeted by the fresh warm breeze and the sound of water hitting the shore. As you descended down the stairs, news about a villain going missing was on the headlines along with the date on the screen saying ‘Thursday’. It has been three days since you got caught by Jason and Dick and Tim just entered the door carrying take outs from Mad Yak cafe. You’re in Happy Harbor, far away from Gotham and your lover is missing. Was the no kill rule violated? You can only pray it’s not.

Hi! I was wondering if you could do a billy hargrove x reader where they’re at a party (i’d like the whole crew to all be friends robin, steve, nancy, billy, eddie) and reader wanders off for a minute. she somehow gets in the middle of a fight and someone hits her. she comes up to billy crying and he goes into super protective mode? idk i thought it sounded kind of cute i love your writing!!
I miss Billy. And thank you so much!!! I hope this is what you wanted and you enjoy it. Thank you for requesting <3
Bodyguard
Billy and Y/N have been together for almost two years. They met when he moved into town, she was swept away by his charming smile and blue eyes. She was a grade younger, now finally in her senior year alongside Eddie and Robin. Billy graduated with Steve and Nancy, but they all still hung out. And since Y/N was in high school knew the popular crowd, and was King Billy's girlfriend, she got invited to a lot of parties. And the group was always happy to tag along.
Billy, Steve, and Eddie were hanging outside, passing around a cigarette as they leaned against the back of the house. Robin, Nancy, and Y/N were inside, dancing and getting drinks. The boys were chatting among random things, then Robin came rushing out. She stood by the back door and searched the crowd. Once her eyes landed on Billy she screamed for him.
~~~
"JASON! RELAX!" Y/N yelled, Jason was yanking Chrissy around the party, another fight that Y/N didn't know what about. She wanted to protect her friend, Chrissy.
"This doesn't involve you," Jason growled, his grip still on Chrissy but he got in Y/N's face. Robin and Nancy watched nervously, a bad feeling in their gut.
"Y/N, just leave it!" Nancy tried, a crowd forming around the arguing couple.
"She's not going home with you. She said no and that means no." Y/N snapped, she didn't back down, holding her head higher as Jason looked down at her.
"She's my girlfriend, so butt out," Jason said, turning around as he dragged Chrissy with him. Y/N stepped in quickly, grabbing Chrissy's other arm. Y/N yanked her back, Jason lost his grip and his hand flew back smacking Y/N right in the nose. Y/N yelped and covered her nose, feeling warm blood dripping from her nose.
~~~
"BILLY. ITS Y/N!" Billy, Steve, and Eddie all jumped into action, Billy smashed the cigarette under his shoe and raced to Robin.
Steve and Eddie knew if it involved Y/N, Billy wouldn't think rationally.
"WHAT'S WRONG?" Billy yelled, following her into the house. Robin didn't try to explain, just racing to the bathroom.
Billy felt nervous, was she sick?
Billy walked in to see Nancy holding ice to Y/N's nose, the front of her dress had spots of blood. He softly pushed Nancy aside, grabbing the ice as he held it for Y/N. Chrissy was silent in the corner.
"What happened?" He whispered, gently rubbing her cheek as he looked at her nose. It wasn't broken, which he was thankful for.
"Nothing, I'm fine, baby," she said, rubbing his arm. Her eyes were red and her cheeks were soaked. Her lip trembled as she silently cried.
"Baby, you have a bruised nose. Did you slip or something? Nothing to be embarrassed about." He joked, a smile on his face. But the atmosphere told him it wasn't anything that would be funny in a day from now.
"She was helping me and Jason flung his arm and he smacked her in the nose," Chrissy said, drowning in the amount of guilt she felt.
Billy's expression went hard in seconds. Steve and Eddie immediately blocked the door as Billy started to breathe heavily.
"He hit you?" Billy snarled, dropping the ice in the sink as he took in her face.
"It was an accident, Billy! Just relax. I'm okay!" She tried, but all Billy could focus on was the fact that she had blood on her dress because of Jason.
"You're okay? You have a fucking bloody nose! I'm going to kill him!" Billy growled. He turned and glared at Steve and Eddie.
"Move." He demanded, but both boys shook their heads.
"Billy, not a good idea. She's okay and she doesn't want you to get involved with it." Steve explained. But Billy didn't care.
"Move or I move you." Billy tried again.
Steve and Eddie looked at each other, knowing the result would land them in pain or Jason. Both boys moved away from the door, Billy yanking it open as he raced out to the party.
"BILLY!" Y/N screamed, running after him. The gang followed behind, all rushing to see what was going to happen.
By the time they caught up, Billy had Jason pinned against the wall. His blue eyes were dark as he growled at Jason.
"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! SHE PUT HER NOSE WHERE IT DIDN'T BELONG. MAYBE KEEP YOUR LITTLE SLUT OF THE WEEK ON A TIGHTER LEASH!" Jason yelled, barely realizing his mistake until Billy landed a knee to his stomach, over and over.
Jason screamed in pain as Billy dropped him, his body crumpling to the floor as he held his stomach. Now on his knees, Billy landed a punch right across his face. Blood poured out of Jason's nose as he dropped completely to the ground this time. He wrapped his arms around his face as he tried to surrender.
"Enough" Eddie demanded, stepping in front of Jason as Billy went to land a kick to his stomach.
"DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH HER OR EVEN TALK ABOUT HER AGAIN!" Billy screamed.
"Hey, hey!" Eddie said, snapping his fingers in Billy's face to catch his attention. Billy finally looked at him, breathing heavily as he tried to calm down.
"He got the message. Y/N is fine and needs you now. Okay? Walk away."
Billy listened to Eddie's words and took a deep breath. His body relaxed when he felt Y/N's hand slip into his. She squeezed it gently as she stood next to him. She gave him a look and he understood everything. He nodded and walked with her. He wrapped his arm around her and kissed her nose as they walked to his car.
"My bodyguard." Y/N swooned, giggling as she snuggled into his body, reaching his car.
"Precious things like you need extra protection," Billy said, smiling as he leaned down to peck her lips softly.
The gang races out, Robin laughing as she held empty bottles of beer, along with Nancy.
"GET IN! GO GO!" Steve yelled, Eddie running behind.
A soaked Jason came limping out, his white shirt now drenched as he held his nose. Cursing as the gang raced into the car and sped off.

Do you still accept orders? If so, I'd like to see a post about how slashers would react to seeing a nurse as a single mother with a baby in her arms and taking him to work. I became obsessed with the idea of her carrying her baby in a carrier while she works. Note: I need our Uncle Bates in love with this baby!
HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13th !
Norman Bates:
Norman was surprised when he first saw you with a baby. It had been a few months since he had last seen you and he didn’t know why you had decided to suddenly leave until…He opened the door and here you were, as radiant as ever and with a baby in your arms. You then asked him to watch your baby for a second as you walked in and brought your luggage in with you.
Norman looked at the absolute sunshine in his arms and it didn’t take him long for him to love him. He immediately started singing a lullaby to the baby while gently swaying him left and right.
"Hush, little baby, don’t you cry; Uncle Normy’s going to sing you a lullaby. Hush little baby don’t say a word; Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a mockingbird. If that mockingbird won’t sing, Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a golden ring. If that gold ring turns to brass, Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a looking glass. If that glass begins to crack, Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a jumping jack. If that jumping jack is broke, Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a velvet cloak. If that velvet cloth is coarse, Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a rocking horse. If that rocking horse won’t rock, Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a cuckoo clock. If that cuckoo clock won’t tick, Uncle Normy’s going to buy you a walking stick. If that walking stick falls down, you’ll still be the sweetest little baby in town…"
Michael Myers:
When he saw the baby in your arms, Michael smiled and understood that you had left for a very good reason. The other slashers were a bit shocked or surprised at the sight of him. You showed your baby to them with a proud smile and all the slashers seemed to adopt the child pretty quickly. But then…Michael realised that you had brought a baby in a SLASHERS’ asylum. He looked at Penny and Pennywise who used to eat children, at Jack who almost killed his own kid, at Jason and Brahms who could crush the little one in their big arms, at Freddy who was well…Freddy.
The moment you had to leave the baby alone for a moment to get back to work, all the slashers looked curiously at the kid…Before anyone could touch the baby however, Michael had swooped him in his arms and glared warningly at the other slashers.
Yeah. That baby won’t leave Michael’s sight.
Penny/Pennywise:
MAYDAY ! MAYDAY ! BABY IN DANGER ! I REPEAT ! BABY IN DANGER !
Penny is working on himself. Yes.
And he had a kid himself. True.
But that doesn’t mean he can be left unsupervised with a child.
If you care about that baby, do not leave him alone with Penny or Pennywise unless it is absolutely necessary.
And if you have to leave him in one of the Penny Brothers’ care ? Choose Pennywise. Pennywise has better self control. And the baby has better chances of survival with Pennywise than Penny.
Pennywise would keep the baby at bay.
Penny could hurt the child without meaning to.
Biting him. Eating a leg or an arm. And he would then smile happily at you with blood around his mouth and say that he didn’t know that babies were so fragile. So, be very careful.
Jack Torrance:
Jack was having a drink at the bar when he saw a baby crawling towards him. He looked around and saw that you had gone to discuss hospital business with another nurse.
He looked back at the baby who was still crawling towards him. And then, the baby attempted to stand up and Jack’s eyes widened as the little baby started staggering forward.
He smiled and was about to call you to witness that incredible performance when the baby started losing balance and threatened to fall.
Jack’s pint of beer dropped and crashed to the floor in his hurry to grab the falling baby. He fortunately managed to catch him in time and you were relieved when you saw it.
For the rest of the afternoon, the baby sat on Jack’s leg while he was drinking his second pint of beer. You even smiled as you noticed that your baby started imitating him with the milk bottle that Jack held to his mouth.
Brahms Heelshire:
Brahms was happy to hear the news and he smiled when he saw the baby. He begged you to let him hold him and was thrilled when you agreed. He took the baby in his arms gently and smiled softly at the baby in his arms before carrying him to his bedroom.
Brahms then proceeded to give him a full tour and show the baby all of his toys and plushies. He then set the baby down in front of his pile of favourite plushies. The baby chose one and started drooling on it enthusiastically.
The plushie was the baby’s first gift.
And years later, your baby would know and remember the nice masked man who had given him that plushie. Brahms stayed alongside you and watched the baby grow. They played and had much fun together. And even when your baby became an adult, Brahms kept watching over him…to the very end.
Freddy Krueger:
You actually just dumped your baby in Freddy’s arms and left. Both the baby and Freddy stared at each other in surprise before Freddy looked back up at you.
"What ? No no no. Hey ! Get back here ! Get that thang away from me !" He shouted, but you ignored him. You knew that Freddy didn’t like babies, but you had no choice. He was the closest to you and you had things to do.
Freddy sighed in defeat when he saw that you weren’t coming back before looking down at the baby who was staring at him with those weird big baby eyes…Freddy was crept out and scared.
"Whatcha lookin’ at, ya lil’ shit ?"
The baby grinned and even laughed. Freddy raised his eyes to the sky and shook his head in disbelief.
"Great. Now, even the baby’s makin’ fun of my ol’ ass…" He sighed.
"Ass !"
Freddy was stunned when he heard that word out of nowhere. Who the heck said that ? He then had a frightening thought and looked down at the baby who was still staring at him with that wide innocent smile. He scoffed and shook his head in disbelief. Yeah right…As if. He even thought he had imagined it for a second before the baby spoke again.
"Ass !"
Freddy’s eyes widened.
Oh shit…
You were gonna kill him. But, since he was already one foot in the coffin…He grinned down at the baby.
"Yeah. That’s right. Ass. Now, let’s see if you can say tits, yeah ? Come on. Repeat after Uncle Freddy. Tits."

Sympathy for Breakfast
(Part 1)
—
Time Written - 9:03 p.m
(Completely unrelated photo it’s just funny to me, also just a silly part 2 for no reason. SFW silly, he stands like this for a majority of this Drabble)
—
The early rays of morning sun sent an irritating glare of bright light through his mask when he feels a faint rumble, making him instinctively reach for his phone.
You coming home soon?
I have a surprise :)
Love you <3
Jason smiles at the screen, feeling glad that his girl woke up on the good side of the bed. However, he checked the time, slowly growing concerned as to why you were up so early.
The diner the both of you adored on weekends and midnights wasn’t even open yet.
A handful of thoughts course through his tired brain. Some of them concerning, some of them far from appropriate.
“Good morning, Mister Hood.” You smile from your position on the ground as he shuffled himself through the front door, carrying double bagged to-go boxes in hand.
The only comfort he had at this moment, besides the fragrant hot coffee inside the machine pot, was seeing your smiling, well rested expression. Your hair was styled to keep out of your way as your main focus, the ‘surprise’, was the project the two of you had been putting off on for a while.
“Babe, what’re you doing?”
You sat criss cross on the living room floor in front of an ash gray, large convertible crib, newly put together by yourself alone.
“Built the crib! Isn’t it pretty?” You extend your hands out towards the sight, the crib equipped with every detail perfectly in place. All you had to do left was add in the bedding onto the new mattress for your son, and it’s fully finished.
A very special bed for a very special boy, already loved before he’s even born.
“The box weighed a ton.” Was Jason’s first statement as he eyed the empty box and scattered foam borders. He sets his helmet and breakfast on the dining room table, approaching the messy living room.
“It wasn’t heavy,” you quickly state, gesturing your head over towards the corner of the living room, where the box had sat behind the couch for a good three months.
“It was super easy too! What do you think?” You immediately ask, not liking how he was too concerned for everything but the surprise.
Their was a cute, eager glimmer in your eyes as you stared up at him, like a little girl showing off her extravagant art piece. Right there, he understood why you had lately become quite OCD with all the baby’s essentials.
Sorting out all the supplies, washing all the clothes, ordering a new baby blanket set because it didn’t arrive in the shade of teal blue you wanted.
Nesting. You were nesting.
Cute.
“It’s nice,” Jason says, tilting his head as he examines the large crib. How the hell his eight month pregnant sweetheart built this heavy crib all on your own was a full body shiver he tried very, very hard to refrain expressing.
“Yeah, very nice. How’s it, uh… how’s it gonna fit through the door?”
“What?” Your smile slowly drops. “Huh?”
“I mean, it’s pretty wide?” Jason peeks over towards their semi open bedroom door. “I don’t think the crib will fit through…”
You go quiet, looking over at the crib you were proud of merely seconds ago.
“Huh??”
You express once more, noticing this large, extravagantly built crib, with bottom drawers prepared to pack in freshly washed baby clothes, would be a little too wide to push through the bedroom door. Especially with the bed in the way.
“But this took … this took forever!” Your voice held that tremble that Jason suspected would come, making him playfully pout.
“Awww, Princess.” He tried so hard to hold back a smile or laugh, quickly failing behind his gloved palm.
“Don’t laugh!” You yell up at him. “I was so proud of myself! This was the one time we buy something from IKEA, and I didn’t have to second guess the instructions a hundred times! Now you’re saying it won’t fit through the door!”
Cause it won’t. Jason wasn’t cruel enough to voice it, simply gazing down at his love, who hid her face from his view, still perched in the center of empty screw bags, power tools, and ever so finicky foam beads.
As tired as he was from patrol, this topped the cake of interesting things to happen yet.
He wasn’t delighted to see you cry aggravated tears from this daunting realization you completely missed, but the outcome of your hard work at such an early hour… only to be stumped, it’s funny. Jason can’t help that.
His shoulders bounced with his light laughter, settling down in front of his woman, who had exhausted hands covering that pretty face from him.
“S’okay Princess. Crib looks gorgeous, an’ you still possess all fingers and toes. Proud of you, but no more heavy lifting. Alright?”
His soft praise and gentle warning fell on acknowledging ears, but responded to with shameful silence. Jason couldn’t help that you were a little impatient with exciting tasks, he wouldn’t ask you to change that.
It’s like asking him to stop his horrible, eye rolling humor. Or twisted, cruelly timed jokes. It’s impossible.
He softly shushes you, kissing the top of your forehead. His eyes glance back to the crib, overall impressed at how you put it all together so well by yourself.
At the start of living in your own apartment, the both of you took many IKEA dates. Each night ended up in some form of aggravated frustration over a piece of furniture placed wrong, or the irritation of an extra screw from a missing slot once the entire piece was already finished.
“You take your vitamins?” Jason prompts, watching your head slowly shake no, still sniffling behind your hands.
You were too fixated on building the crib and getting everything together, you forgot the key component of a successful pregnancy; to worry about your own health. The biggest of priorities.
Yep. Nesting.
“We’ll eat, take your vitamins, an’ have our food comas. No worries ‘bout the crib mama, I’ll take care of it.”
Jason’s soothing voice was almost enough to settle your nerves, or the mention of food actually.
“Did you go to Benny’s?”
“Mhm. Got your favorite.”
“Can you help me up?” You reluctantly ask, giving him those pink flushed puppy eyes that he couldn’t go against.
“Whatever the lady wants.”
Tired muscles slip underneath your arms, cradling your sides as he helps you up off the ground. Your swollen belly nudges against his abdomen, making his heart melt. He wondered if your manic rush of dopamine woke up his boy, softly smirking at the idea of you chastising your relentlessly kicking son whilst building his future bed.
“Baby boy missed you, by the way.” You say, as if you just read his mind.
God, kill him already. His twice beating heart can’t take much more of this.
“He just wants food,” Jason chides before stepping to the side, letting you slowly waddle to the kitchen.
“We’re all on the same boat, Papa.”
God, please scratch that last thought. He’s in heaven.
Jason’s exhaustion didn’t stop him from nudging you towards your seat, taking the empty mugs from your hands to fill them with Colombian roast.
He wasn’t just being courteous; he was making sure you didn’t have too much caffeine, diluting the majority of your cup with your preferred milk.
After taking those vitamins you needed, Jason finally allowed himself to sit down and rest, too lazy to pull off anything other than his tactical belt and leather jacket.
He watches the love of his life through hooded eyes open your plate, your expression brightening as if you didn’t just sob over the crib mishap. Something he most definitely wasn’t going to mention at a manor dinner about three years from now.
Fluffy blueberry pancakes, piled with fresh fruit and savory sausage on the side. Honey cinnamon butter, and extra syrup. All topped with chocolate chips.
Beside it, an egg white spinach, cheesy omelette. With vegan cheese, for some odd reason. Suddenly, you had as much distain to cheddar and mozzarella, possibly most dairy, as you did to egg yolks in your omelettes.
This was your breakfast, The only meal out of your three meals a day that wasn’t invaded by a strange concoction of spicy pickles or vinegar based hot sauce. Or any other horrible last minute choices.
Something tells Jason that he’s going to see cake eaten for breakfast after the birth for a good while. Not like he’s going to complain, honestly.
Whatever he can do to combat the birthing blues, but that’s a concern for the future.
“Babe.”
“Hm?” You glance up from your plate before you dug in, seeing that same gentle smirk he carried on his face for the past four minutes.
“I was kidding, by the way.” His smile slowly grew the quicker it sets in, expecting to get pummeled by fruit after this;
“The crib will fit through the door.”

Dick had never known fear like this in his life. It had been eating away at him for over a month now, invading his every thought, his every dream. Everywhere he looked, there it was, almost as if it were taunting him.
And you were absolutely no help at all. You laughed at his pain, giggling under your breath every time he would lay in bed to sing his woes to you. “Why don't you just call them? It doesn't have to be such a big deal.”
“It is a big deal!” Dick whined into your neck. He was laying on his front, his broad chest pressed to your ribs carefully, over-aware of not putting any pressure on your stomach. “This is a huge deal! It's world changing! I don't see how you aren't freaking out over this too.”
You gently scratched his scalp, messing up his back hair. “I know it's big Dickie, remember we had a good cry about it together. But your family will love you no matter what and I bet they'll be even more excited than we are.” He hummed against your skin, nuzzling even further into your hold.
“I mean mom has been dropping hints for a while.” You smiled and laid a kiss to the top of his head.
“I know babe, we have lunch every week.”
—————
“What are you doing here Grayson?” Damian stood with his arms crossed as he blocked his older brother from entering the house.
“Can't I visit my family?” He chuckled, pushing past the small boy easily. Damian trailed behind him, green eyes fixated on the large duffle bag hanging over his shoulder.
“Not without your girlfriend. Have you broken up?” He asked bluntly. Dick scoffed in return.
“No. She's at work right now.” As they entered Bruce's office, Dick opened up the elevator to the cave, knowing mostly everyone would be down there as evening began to fall over Gotham.
“Why the bag then?” He poked the dark canvas almost resentfully.
“Be patient baby bird. All good things come to those who wait.” They stepped into the elevator side-by-side, Dick shifting the bag to his other shoulder so Damian wouldn't be tempted to try and open it. Damian just glared at him for that.
The doors opened to reveal his family all dressed for a 'night out'. His mother saw him first, visibly lighting up as she spotted him. “Little bird! We weren't expecting you tonight!” Immediately she abandoned her husband in favour of coddling her eldest.
The others scoffed as she fussed over him even though she did the same for them. “Well I thought I would drop by and drop off some presents from Dove and I.”
Jason's head popped up from behind his bike, a smear of grease on his pale cheek indicating that he was once again tinkering with the motorcycle. “Presents?”
Dick smirked, of course that got his attention. ”Yes, presents. So c'mon, gather up.” Soon he was surrounded by his family, each with a very different emotion on their face. Bruce was suspicious, Tim was almost disinterested, Jason excited, Damian annoyed and his mother curious but with a knowing gleam in her eye.
Quickly, he pulled out five small and horribly wrapped gifts and distributed them to the group. “Now with these gifts, you're gonna have to give them back in a few months but I doubt you'll have any trouble doing that.”
“Chum, what do you have planned?” Bruce raised a greying brow at him but Dick just shrugged.
“Just open the damn presents.” He whipped out his phone to record their reactions.
Of course his mother was the first to get it, squealing with delight as the small onesie with 'Nana is my favourite superhero' embroidered on it was pulled from the wrapping paper. Then it was Jason who held the black onesie with the iconic red bat on the front like his uniform. He just smiled, his hands tightening on the delicate fabric, only just holding back tears of happiness.
Then it was Bruce. Excitement seemed to explode around him as he gave a belly laugh that Dick had only heard once or twice in his life, showing his wife the Batman onesie in his present. Tim realised a moment after his father, his eyes going wide as he pulled out a Red Robin version of the baby outfit.
And finally, Dick turned the camera on his youngest brother who was stock still and almost glaring at the fabric that was adorned with his moniker. His eyebrows were scrunched and his nose twitched like a bunny's. “Why did you buy this for me? It is far too small for me to wear.”
“It isn't for you really, it's for someone else.” That seemed to anger the young Robin even more.
“Then why did you say it was a present for me?” He snapped but Dick simply chuckled.
“Well, I'm giving it to you now so you can give it to your niece in 4 months.” His mother and father gasped as Jason gave a hearty 'fuck yeah!'.
“Niece?” His voice was softer now but still held some confusion in his tone. Dick handed his phone to Tim who kept recording, as Dick kneeled to be level with his brother.
“Yeah Damian, your niece. Dove and I are having a baby. A little girl to be exact.” He placed a huge hand on his small shoulder, giving it a friendly squeeze. “The onsie is for her when she's born.”
His mouth closed slowly before opening once more. “I'm going to be an uncle?” Dick nodded. “And it's a girl?” His smile was Damian's answer.
He looked back down at his hands, a small smile growing on his face. “I guess that's acceptable.” Dick tugged him in for a quick hug before he was forcefully ripped away and pulled into his mom and dad's arms. Jason and Tim quickly joined in, equally as excited.
But then Damian got a strange look on his face. “Father, where do babies come from?”

Hi, can you do a request with Jason Grace where Reader can sing really well, like how he would react? Because he never hear her sing before
⋆·˚ ༘ * it’s fearless
warnings: none! other than I have no clue how to write a song fic, so my apologies if it sucks
pairing: jason grace x fem reader (established relationship)
A/N: I saw this and I new immediately the song had to be something taylor swift
“when did you get this guitar? I never knew you had a guitar…”
“well, if you bothered to look at anything in here besides me then you would’ve known” you replied, picking up the guitar and walking over to your bed to take a seat
“can you play?” the blond inquired, taking a seat beside you
“I wouldn’t have one if I couldn’t play, idiot” you rolled your eyes and hit the boy on the head, “do you want me to play something?”
“you’re only saying that so you can show off” he glares at you
“do you want me to or no?” you ask angrily, loosing patience
“of course I do” he gives you a soft smile
“great!” you beam, “would you like a song with it?”
“a song?”
“yes, a song, I’m glad you have ears that work” you hiss
“I- sure, can you even sing?” he questions
“why do you doubt my abilities?”
“I’m not! I just didn’t know you could sing”
“are you going to let me play or no?”
“yes, go ahead”
“alright…” you sigh and begin strumming the guitar
There's somethin' bout the way
The street looks when it's just rained
There's a glow off the pavement
You walk me to the car
And you know I wanna ask you to dance right there
In the middle of the parking lot
Yeah
Oh, yeah
We're drivin' down the road
I wonder if you know
I'm tryin' so hard not to get caught up now
But you're just so cool
Run your hands through your hair
Absent mindedly makin' me want you
And I don't know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me head first
Fearless
And I don't know why
But with you I'd dance in a storm
In my best dress
Fearless
So baby drive slow
'Til we run out of road in this one horse town
I wanna stay right here in this passenger seat
You put your eyes on me
In this moment now capture it, remember it
'Cause I don't know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me head first
Fearless
And I don't know why
But with you I'd dance in a storm
In my best dress
Fearless
Oh, oh
Well you stood there with me in the doorway
My hands shake
I'm not usually this way but
You pull me in and I'm a little more brave
It's the first kiss, it's flawless, really something, it's fearless
Oh, yeah
'Cause I don't know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me head first
Fearless
And I don't know why
But with you I'd dance in a storm
In my best dress
Fearless
'Cause I don't know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me head first
Fearless
And I don't know why
But with you I'd dance in a storm
In my best dress
Fearless
Oh, oh, oh yeah
with that, you strum the last string, letting out a deep breath
“oh my gods, that was amazing! why did you let me go so long without knowing you could sing?” he looks at you with a wonder (or love) struck expression
“it never seemed important. I barely sing- or play at that. I used to a lot when I was little but then I kind of got sick of it…”
“well I’m never going to let this go, your voice is beautiful!” he pecks your lips gently, and you blush at this
“I guess I’m going to have to sing more often if this is how I’m rewarded”

To be or not to be (a blackmailer) part 4
The day had come, and Danny was extremely nervous. Through Tim, Danny had set up a day with Damian to come over and see his foster kittens. Damian was very adamant that Danny bring along any weapon he might have beside the rapier because "Daniel needs to show his proficiency with all weapons if he is to be assessed correctly." Tim made sure that Danny knew he didn't need to bring anything over but himself. Danny brought every weapon he had just in case.
Thankfully, Danny had enough experience with rich people that he was pretty much prepared for anything. Well, maybe not the mind-reading butler/grandfather. Seriously, that guy seemed to be everywhere and knew exactly what everyone wanted without anyone saying a word to him.
Damien immediately grabbed his hand (after taking Danny's duffle bag and shoving it at Tim) and took him to the barn where three separate groups of kittens were. Damien took great pride in telling Danny all about the kittens and their routines. Danny made sure to tell Damien that Dani would love to meet him as she is an avid animal lover too.
Damien wouldn't let him go back inside until he was introduced to every animal in the barn. Tim was threatening to tell Alfred about the opossum babies being kept in his room if they didn't go inside soon. Damien threatened to stab him in the leg if he tried.
Danny thought they sounded exactly like Dan and Dani now but didn't mention it to either of them.
Dinner was a chaotic thing that reminded Danny of home. He met Bruce, Cass, and Duke first. They'd already been there when dinner was called. Stephanie and Dick (seriously? Dick?) came charging in, all kicking and flailing limbs as they fought over who would meet the guy that immediately won Damien's approval. Jason was the last to come in, though Danny had felt him coming from a mile away. The stench of corrupted ectoplasm was overwhelming making Danny have to excuse himself for a moment while he collected himself.
(He was going to have to do something with Jason cause the guy had obviously died at some point, and Danny really hoped he knew that. He was absolutely going to have to talk to the guy alone because what if he didn't know? Omg, that would be an awkward conversation.)
When he came back everyone was devouring their food like it would disappear at any second. Steph tried to steal Damien's second roll, only for Damien to slice at her with a knife that came out of nowhere. Steph just laughed. Danny had a blast meeting everyone. Alfred made sure to give Danny a container of leftovers (including this absolutely amazingly giant piece of triple chocolate cake. It was truly a work of art and Alfred might be Danny's favorite person.)
After dinner, Damien challenged Danny to a duel, which piqued everyone's interest. Well, except for Bruce's, who tried to stop the fight but was outvoted.
After going outside and laying out all the weapons that had been in the duffle bag, Jason teased Danny about being more dangerous than the demon brat. Danny laughed and made an offhand comment about having to do rigorous training with Hippolyta.
Danny won 62% of the fights. Damien was highly impressed and claimed that Danny had faired far better than expected and that if Tim did not claim Danny soon, then Damien would, as Damien is the superior brother.
That made everyone laugh except for Tim, who glared at his younger brother.
Danny promised to come back but with a lot less weapons.

Correction. Jason fucking hates school.
Those fucking elitist assholes keep staring at Dick and him like they’re goddamn monkeys in a zoo. One had tried explaining the fucking concept of laptops to them earlier, like they’d been raised in the fuckin’ ass end of nowhere.
That guy had changed his tune real damn fast after Jason pointedly pulled out his own unreleased Wayne tech laptop and fired it up with a harsh glare.
Frankly, Jason wouldn’t be so ticked off if it was just him, but they keep. Targeting. Dick. After they realised that, wow, Jason isn’t the poor back alley rat with an IQ barely high enough to let him breathe correctly and take their shit lying down, they kept trying to crowd Dick.
After the third time some spoiled girl had tried touching the skittish talon in some guise of “Oh wow, your hair looks really soft!“ and Dick’s eyes had done the deer-in-headlights expression where he wasn’t sure if he was allowed to fucking say no Jason had snapped and nearly bit the offending hand off.
The surprised scream he got in retaliation was so fucking worth it, even if he’s pretty sure B will have choice words to say about it once they get back to the manor.
Sadly, Dick had also taken that reaction to mean that Jason felt threatened by the girl, which was… less optimal.
At least Jason had managed to keep him from literally tearing into her. If barely.
“I fuckin’ hate these snobs,“ Jason growls, opening their Alfred issued lunchbox with a bit more force than strictly necessary.
Dick coos inquisitively, back to his bird sounds in the relative privacy of the abandoned classroom they’ve been hiding out in since the fiasco during second period.
Jason hands him one of the sandwiches with peanut butter and jelly he loves so much and chooses one with with cheese and ham for himself, taking a vicious bite to vent his frustration in a way that won’t immediately get them expelled. “All these people thinking we’re some new and shiny toy. Wanna bet they think we don’t even know how to fuckin’ read?“
Dick eats at a more sedate pace from where he’s perched in a crouch on top of a desk, watching Jason rant with attentive eyes.
He doesn’t say anything, but that’s ok. Jason’s spitting enough vitriol for them both, and at least he knows that Dick is listening. Even if Jason were to suddenly switch topics and babble nonsense about the Teletubbies, Dick would still hang onto his every word. It used to be a bit creepy in the beginning, but now it’s… nice. Especially since he’d figured out how to interpret all the bird noises Dick makes.
“Really, if any of these privileged asswi-“
Dick’s head snaps up, body suddenly tense like a bowstring, and Jason whirls around so fast he almost gives himself whiplash, heart in his throat.
His eyes immediately lock onto the previously closed door where a wide eyed boy is standing, laptop under one arm, mouth agape, and looking more like a displaced toddler than a student with the pudgy baby fat clinging to his cheeks.
Dick makes a low tittering sound deep in his throat, wary but not yet hostile, and Jason takes one look at the tiny child that looks like he might start crying under the heavy stare of two older boys and exhales a groan.
“You need something, kid?“
The boy’s wide, blue eyes snap to him and Jason has to blink a bit at how similar they look to his own, if perhaps a few shades lighter.
He shuffles on his feet, clutching the laptop against his chest, “Uh, n-no. I was just- uh- homework.“

What happens between chapters 6 and 7 of 'Making Mistakes'
Jason is grounded for life was her first thought as she watched two men drag her son at gunpoint to the man who killed his father. It was the best thing to do, thinking like that. It gave her something to look ahead to, a future for her to strive towards, in this situation. Otherwise, she would fall into panic, and that wouldn’t help anyone. Still, her wrists twitched against the ropes as she watched Jason give him a key she didn’t recognize. What she was being held for. Every so often Jason would look to her, eyes scanning, no doubt checking if she was okay. She was doing the same to him.
After the exchange had been made, most of the gang filed out, all except for Jason, her, and four guards. Before he left, Two-Face turned to the guards and told them, “If this is a trap, kill them.”
When the man left, Jason stumbled over to her. “Mom!” he fell to his knees, trembling fingers working at the ropes on her wrists.
“Jason, baby, what are you doing here?” he shook his head, words coming out a mile a minute.
“Tim’s mom brought me home, but you weren’t there, and I found your jacket on the floor and a note. I’m sorry for hiding the key from you mama, I should have told you about it, I’m sorry.” He blubbered and, this was not Jason. It was a good act, to be fair. A scared kid worried about his mom. A part of it was the truth, she could tell, but this wasn’t her son.
“It’s okay, baby, it’s okay.” She played along, laying it on thick to match him. Surely, he had a reason for this.
“Ey,” one of the guards around them said, approaching the two, “Stop with the ropes, you’re not allowed to leave yet.”
“Am I not allowed to comfort my son?” she asked him, glaring. He stepped back, wincing. “Well? Am I allowed or not?” she felt the ropes give way.
“I mean, yes. But he can’t take off your binds.”
“Why not?” Jason asked, standing up. His eyes widened a fraction, the picture of innocence.
“Well, we need to make sure the key is correct, then she can be let go,” he winced as he looked at Jason, “Shit, I did not sign up for this.” In the distance, shouting started up. “What the fuck?” the man’s radio rang out, and he answered it. “Shit, okay, I’ll be right there.” he pointed at her and Jason, then ran out, saying, “You two stay here.” And the room was empty.
“Yeah, we’re not gonna do that.” Jason said, pulling out his switchblade and cutting the ropes that tied her ankles together, then her elbows.
“What’s happening?” she asked, stretching as she stood up.
“Batman.” He said, grabbing her hand and beginning to hurry out one of the doors and into a hallway.
“Uh, what?” she asked as she stumbled after him, “Batman?”
“Yeah, I’ll explain after we get out.”
He seemed to know where to go, turning at certain points and clearly having a direction to head in. As they ran, the shouts became quieter, but they were also heading deeper into the labyrinth. “Where are we going?”
“Meeting someone.” And as he said that, a door opened and a boy stepped through a nearby door.
She recognized Robin immediately. Living in Crime Alley, commuting from work at night, she had seen the boy a couple times, flitting across the rooftops. He had even helped get some muggers away from her a few years before. He was older now, of course. The boy grinned at her.
“Hi, Ms. Todd.” He said, “I’m your escape. Come on.” He opened the door. Jason and her followed him.
Down the hallway men were lying on the floor. Some were knocked out, another couple were moaning and clutching their arms or legs. Robin didn’t seem to notice, hopping over them as he passed, occasionally kicking a gun away. Catherine was careful to step over the men and, when she saw Jason step on one of their hands, she scolded him.
“But they deserve it. They’re working for Two-Face.”
“And so was your father. You can’t know if they are working for him willingly, or if he’s forcing them, or if they just need the money like we did.”
“But mom,” he looked down, “Okay.”
“She’s right,” Robin said as he stepped over another man, “Violence isn’t always the answer.”
“You’re one to talk. Don’t you kick people’s asses every night?” Jason asked.
“Well, I mean, yeah.” Robin fumbled, “But those are criminals.”
“You literally took out all these people ten minutes ago.”
“Yeah, to help save you two, uh,” a gunshot rang out, stopping whatever Robin was about to say. The hallway became quiet and still, except for a man a few meters ahead of them slumping, and Robin stumbling back. “Oh, ouch.”
She caught him automatically before she could fall into her and looked over his body. He hadn’t been shot in the chest or head, thankfully, but looking down, she could see blood dripping from his left leg in a steady stream. Why on earth was the boy not wearing pants? It wasn’t even spring, for God’s sake!
“That’s gonna leave a mark.” Jason muttered from beside them, frozen, eyes wide.
“Jason, give me your sweater.” She said, holding her hand out. That seemed to shock the boy out of it, and he quickly pulled it off, handing it to her and leaving him in a t-shirt. She laid the boy down gently, kneeling beside him and using Jason’s sweater as a makeshift bandage. When it was properly wrapped, she pulled him up with the help of both Jason and Robin himself. Wrapping the teen’s right arm around her shoulder, she told Jason to grab his other arm and help her drag him out.
Luckily, the teen had a high pain tolerance, so he could give them both directions on their exit. Most of the goons were focusing on Batman, so their way was mostly clear of obstacles. They were in the home-stretch, the exit to the abandoned office building/warehouse, when a man came running out from a nearby hallway, crashing into the little group and bowling the three over. Catherine hissed as she landed on her back, pain shooting white hot up her spine.
The man froze as he took in the sight of Robin, Catherine, and Jason on the floor. His finger twitched on the trigger of the gun in his hands. Surprise was written on his face, and he looked down to the gun, then back to her. She winced, squeezing her eyes shut, and pulling Jason to her chest to curl around him. The man had a gun, anything she could do would only lead to the three of them dead. She just hoped Batman would make it in time for the kids.
“You’re Willis’ wife, right?” he asked, and her eyes blinked open.
“I am.” She said, though her confusion made it sound like a question.
“Yeah, Cathy. He told me all about you.” He looked at the boy in her arms, “And you’re Jason. You gotta be in, what, third grade?”
“Fourth, actually.”
“Right, yeah.” The man shook his head and turned back to Catherine. “You probably don’t remember, it was six years ago, but you made a cake for my wife after she had our first kid. She’s been looking for the recipe for ages. Never could get it right.”
“I remember.” She said, thinking back, “Bill, right?”
“Yeah.” He smiled, and it was almost like Bill’s boss hadn’t abducted her, and he had orders to kill them, “I’m sorry about what happened to Willis. He was great.” He looked both ways, then sighed, “Look, I really shouldn’t do this, but I owe it to him. You can go.” He took a step back from the door, then hesitated. “Actually, if I let you go, I might get in trouble. Does one of you want to knock me out? Make it look like I tried to stop you?”
“Hell yeah!” Jason jumped up, out of Catherine’s arms.
“Alright, kid, do your worst.”
Jason began to set himself up for the punch, but was stopped when Catherine said, “Jason,” warning in her tone. He looked up at her, disappointment flited through his eyes. “You’re standing wrong. You need to have a firm stance, otherwise you’ll just fall over. Also, you need to wrap your hand so none of your bones break with a punch.” Jason’s eyes lit up, and he looked around for some cushioning.
“Here.” Robin said, handing him his glove, “It has support.”
“Thanks!” her son said, quickly putting on the glove and, with little extra pretense, decked Bill. He caught the man on his way down, at least, making sure he didn’t get hurt as he fell.
As they walked out of the building, the sky was brightening, welcoming dawn. Jason tugged at her shirt, which was still the one she had worn the previous morning.
“Why’d you let me do it?” he asked.
She shrugged, “He asked you to punch him.”

The “Imaginary” Friend one-shot is out! Read it here on AO3 or here!
CW: non-graphic violence, murder, arson, emotional manipulation, domestic abuse (from Willis Todd)
When Jason was little, he had a friend. It was only when he was able to understand words that he noticed that his "friend" wasn't very real.
"Mom, you don't see her?" Jason asked again in dismay. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that nobody could see his friend! Couldn't they all see her red hair, blue eyes, and nice smile?
His mom looked at him with an odd look. "No, sweetie. She's imaginary, of course I can't see her."
Jason stared at her, trying to detect the lie, but he couldn't see it. Biting his lip, he turned to Jazz, who stared at him with big eyes and a small frown, looking as worried as he felt.
Again, he repeated, "You really can't see her?"
"No, I can't."
He accepted the pat his mom gave him while he stared, disgruntled at Jazz.
She was totally real!
… right?
The door opened and his mom stood up quickly, pushing him away and striding to the kitchen to prepare a meal. Jason stiffened and skittered away to his room, where he silently shut the door. Already, he could hear the shouts coming from his dad as he yelled at his mom.
"You stupid, slow bitch! What the fuck did I say about making dinner, huh?!"
Jason trembled in place, his heart aching as he resisted the urge to go out and help his mom. The last time he had done that, he had been hit so hard that his head knocked against the walls and his mom's screams had alerted the neighbors to them. That incident had made his dad control himself for a few weeks, but the fear and anger in his mom's eyes made Jason regret it.
He had been scolded so much that time, so he didn't know what to do now.
He couldn't leave his room, so he could only sink to the floor and wave Jazz closer. Jazz sat next to him and said, "My parents weren't like this. They're neglectful."
"Neglectful?" He asked. "You remember them?"
She shook her head. "It was a long time ago. I just recall a few memories. I had a brother named Danny."
"A brother?" He asked to confirm, and she nodded again. Jason blinked and thought about it. "I think I'd like some brothers. We could play games together!"
"Nuh uh." Jazz shook her head. "Siblings are annoying. They cry all day when they're babies. And poop all the time." Like an afterthought, she added, "They're stinky."
Jason snickered. "Then maybe I can have a big brother instead!"
Jazz sneered. "Why not a big sister?"
"Ew, girls are weird."
Jazz gasped in offense and then said, "Fine then! I curse you to have two younger brothers! And they'll fight all the time!"
Jason gasped and blurted, "Wait! I'm sorry! I'll have two sisters then!"
He knew that she said strange things, so he wholeheartedly believed that she had cursed him.
Jazz gave a pretentious 'hmph' and then said, "Fine. Then I'll mend the curse. Two younger brothers, two sisters, and a big brother. Okay?"
He nodded, agreeing immediately before she changed her mind and gave him three younger brothers.
With a sudden sinking heart, he realized that it didn't really matter. His mom said she was fake after all. Her voice, her looks, her everything, it was only his imagination.
"What's the matter, Jay?"
Even her nickname for him was probably fake.
But whatever. Jason would enjoy this anyways.
He smiled at her and said, "Nothing."
Jazz stared at him for a few moments, before she turned away and then said, "I think you should kill your dad."
Jason nearly jumped out of his skin, standing up in alarm to look down at her. "W-What are you talking about?! Kill him?!"
There was a loud crash outside his door and Jason clapped his hands over his mouth, sliding back down to the floor. He gave Jazz a glare, who smiled apologetically. When there was only more murmuring outside, he turned to her and said, "Why would you say that?!"
Jazz shrugged. "I don't know. Don't you think about it sometimes?"
"No! Normal people don't kill!" Jason said sternly.
Jazz stared at him for a moment, before she went, "Hmm," and then turned away again. Jason stared at her, baffled and definitely horrified.
How could he kill someone? Didn't her parents teach her that things like that were bad?
Jason suddenly remembered her parents ignoring her and he swallowed back the scolding words. Still, he felt uncomfortable with the thoughts that Jazz had now given him, because he couldn't help but imagine pushing his father down the stairs and getting him out of their lives once and for all.
Jazz remained silent for the rest of the day.
And Jason thought about it all night long.
————
Only a few weeks later, as Jason watched his dad grab his mom by the hair and toss her into a wall, he made his choice. He waited until the next morning, when the sun was still dark out, to push his father down the stairs when he went out to empty his bladder.
He and Jazz watched his father's head crack open on the ground and shine with a dark liquid, only barely shining red in the rising light of the sun.
"Come back inside, Jason." Jazz said. "Someone will see."
He went inside mechanically, quickly slinking back to his room and nuzzling against his thin pillows as Jazz sat next to him.
"I'm proud of you," she said quietly, and for a moment, Jason feared the person he would become with her praise.
————
He had thought that with his father's death, things would become better.
It did not.
Somehow, his mother had become depressed and people started to collect themselves around her.
One man in particular was uncomfortably close with her, always getting into her space and ignoring her stammered protests. He also would viciously glare at Jason every time he came nearby to get between them, but since Jason knew that he was afraid to hurt him in front of his mom, Jason took advantage of that to be really obnoxious.
"You should kill him too, Jay." She whispered, a trace of ghostly fingers brushing across his shoulders.
Jason stared at his soapy hands, in the midst of washing dishes, and he mumbled, "You're not real."
Ever since he had killed his father, he had regretted it.
A human life was too easy to take and it scared him.
"Are you sure about that? You suspected it, haven't you? I've helped guide you for so many years, Jay. Since you were a baby. It's been so long— how come I haven't disappeared yet?"
"... maybe I've been crazy from birth."
"Do you really believe that?" She asked, and he resisted the urge to shake his head and say no.
He didn't believe that.
But who would believe him if he said that his imaginary friend wasn't so imaginary and was actually real? Who would believe him if he said that the reason why he killed was because of her? Who would believe him if he said that his actions were influenced by a person nobody else could see?
He couldn't even believe it himself.
"Do you think I'm a bad influence on you?" She asked and he nodded.
"You are." He said without malice.
She laughed a little. "I am a bad influence." She admitted. Her fingers brushed against his shoulders. A trail of goosebumps rose wherever she touched, but he couldn't even tell if she had actually tried touching him or if he was imagining it all and his body was reacting to his thoughts.
Arms curled around his neck. He could feel the faint coldness of her body, but he felt no touch.
Was she even real?
"Jay," she said softly, "are you angry at me?"
"No."
It was the truth.
"Then why aren't you looking at me?"
Immediately, he tensed. He couldn't, because looking at her seemed to confirm his thoughts that she wasn't real and he was simply hallucinating.
It was terrifying.
He was scared.
Something touched his cheek and Jason couldn't help but turn around to look at her, his eyes wide. "D-Did you just kiss me?"
Jazz smiled, a faint blush covering her cheeks. "Yeah."
Jason's face felt hot. He didn't know what to say. Did she like him in that way? They had grown up together and although Jason had always entertained thoughts of marrying her when he was little, he was older now. And she wasn't real. What the hell was he all worried for?
Jason blinked out of it.
"I..." he started, but Jazz's ghostly fingers brushed against his lips to make him stop speaking and he paused immediately.
"It's okay if you don't believe me or yourself. You're not crazy, Jason. I'm real. I'm real and I'm with you right now." She smiled sweetly, and Jason relaxed unwillingly, his heart and body trusting in her words completely, even while his mind denied it all.
"I... I—"
"Shhh..." she shushed him softly. "Trust me, Jason. When have I ever lead you astray? When have I ever done you wrong? When have I ever lied to you?"
... she had never.
Jason closed his eyes so he couldn't see her. The moment he did, he could almost feel how disappointed she was as she was immediately silent and still. He was conflicted. He knew that murder was wrong, but when Jazz spoke so sweetly to him, he was afraid of what could happen. He was afraid that he would never be the same again if he continued this pattern of killing at her command.
"... I see." She said. "If that's how you feel, then I guess I'll just leave."
Fear, worse than the one he had felt when he had first killed, immediately washed over him like cold ice water. His eyes snapped open and he called out, "Wait! Wait, I'm sorry."
She paused.
He had never seen her leave him before. From as far as he could remember, he had never been separated from her side. They had been together through all hardships. He had never experienced a life without her and he didn't want to experience one now.
He immediately apologized. "I'm sorry. I-I'll do what you say."
Jazz frowned lightly when she faced him. "I don't want to force you. If we cannot agree, then it is better that we just separate or we'll fight all of the time."
"No! Please don't leave me!" Jason began to cry. He hadn't cried since he was a baby, and he felt even more ashamed of it now. He furiously wiped away the tears as he stuttered, "I-I'm just scared. But I don't want you to leave me."
She was quiet for a moment, and then she said, "Alright. Then I'll forgive you. I don't want you to be sad, Jason. I want you to be happy. I was made for your happiness." With that, she smiled a little and reached out. Her hands went through his tears but the sentiment of the gesture still made him calm down.
He sniffed and then asked, "What do you want me to do?"
"Be yourself, Jason. And come when I call." She smiled and then sat next to him. For the next few hours, they sat there in silence, with no other words left to say.
————
The man had killed his mom when she had refused his proposals too many times. The townspeople did not punish him for it, and he hated them all the more.
Even when his father had been publicly abusing him, they had done nothing but give condolences to his mother. They hadn't even offered food or coins, only their empty words.
So with a cold fury, Jason had slaughtered the man who killed his mother with a butcher's knife and fed him to his own pigs.
"What happens when I kill people, Jazz?" He asked, as he cleaned up the mess he had made. Jazz looked proudly at him as she stood next to his side, a reassuring presence as always.
She smiled. "You make me stronger. And soon enough, I'll be able to meet you and we can be together forever."
Jason's breath caught in his chest. "Forever?"
"Forever," she said firmly, and Jason was filled with such a sharp sense of longing that it surprised even him.
"Okay," he said with a nod. "You and I will definitely meet!"
She chuckled and didn't say anything else.
————
Jason grew older.
He was past the age where he would cry if anybody left him, but he never lost that fear of losing Jazz.
He picked up a sack of flour and called out, "Where do you want this?"
"In the storage room! Fendrel will tell you where!" The baker's wife said.
Jason went into the storage room, where the baker's son sat on top of one of the flour sacks, fiddling with a puzzle toy.
"Hey, where do I put this?" Jason asked.
Fendrel sneered at him and said, "Stop kissing my parents' ass. You won't get more money that way."
"In what way were you kissing ass?" Jazz said and Jason had to hold back the urge to laugh.
It must've shown on his face because Fendrel's expression soured.
"You're so goddamn annoying!" Fendrel spat. "You think that just because you're handsome and strong that you can do anything you want? Everyone knows that you're from a poor family and everyone knows that you're a disgusting orphan!"
Jason raised an eyebrow. "And you can say all of that, while coming from a baker's family with both parents and still being worse than me?"
Fendrel gave a shout of rage and moved to lunge at him but Jazz gave a simple, "The baker's wife is coming," and Jason didn't dodge, letting Fendrel smack him.
The moment he staggered back, the door opened and the baker's wife saw what was happening.
"Fendrel! How dare you?!" She looked apologetically at Jason. "I'm sorry about him. Here, your pay." She handed him a few coins, more than his expected pay, and then let him leave on his own with her fingers clasped around Fendril's ear as she dragged him about.
Fendrel yelped and pleaded and Jason watched with satisfaction before he left.
Jazz curled her arms around Jason, the light pressure of her weight a steady promise of what could happen if he continued to kill more people for her. She floated a little bit behind him, like how the stories would depict of ghosts.
In the past few years, she had grown beautiful and tall, even taller than him when she put her feet on the ground. Her red hair was long and straight, her eyes sparkled beautifully when she was happy, and her smile was one of the most radiant things he had ever seen.
Even her words were less childish, as if each kill that he gave her increased her knowledge. In a way, it was true. When he could afford to be distracted, she was always willing to offer random pieces of knowledge that he knew was useful to him. She had quickly become his mentor, friend, and most trusted confidant.
Seeing her grow alongside him, there but always out of reach, it caused the obsession inside of him to grow.
He lost the fear of what could happen as he grew older, losing his innocence with each new enemy he encountered when he was young, but he still refused to kill any of the innocent.
Because of that, he had only killed less than a dozen people in the past decade.
... still a lot, but not enough for Jazz to manifest herself.
But with each improvement of her form and her now being able to touch him, he was determined to find the right scumbag to sacrifice them to her.
Now...perhaps he found them.
"Should I...?" It was an unspoken question. Jazz rubbed her cold cheek against his neck and nodded.
"Yes. Take Fendrel for me, Jay. Create my body for yourself." She cooed.
Warmth oozed in Jason's stomach, curling up with satisfaction and pride.
"Got it, Princess," he muttered.
In a few days, he easily lured Fendrel to the cathedral on the edge of the town. It wasn’t difficult when Fendrel was easy to anger and Jason was quick on his feet and with his tongue. In a few moments, Fendrel was already chasing him with a mind consuming rage, thankfully with enough stupidity that he also called his buddies to follow so they could beat up Jason.
Along the way to the cathedral, Jazz whispered more secrets into his ear as they ran to the cathedral.
"The bookkeeper's wife is cheating on him with his brother."
"The youngest child of the seamstress died just a moment ago."
"The daughter of the miller is having a secret affair with the farmer's boy."
Jason just kept his breath in control and continued running.
When he arrived, he quickly ran inside the cathedral and turned around, where Fendrel stood at the door, panting and with a face full of rage.
"You're dead!" He snarled.
His friends caught up with them and they all entered through the door and went straight towards him. Jason stood in the middle of the cathedral, in front of the statue of the god of agriculture that the town usually worshipped.
Jason had been a little afraid of offending him when he had come in, but Jazz had already reassured him that he would face no consequences as long as he completed his mission to kill Fendrel and his goons. Two pairs of heavy gazes landed on him, one seemingly of great judgment while the other was gentle and loving.
The latter made him feel the most nervous.
Jason watched the boys in front of him try to intimidate him as they crossed over to him, before he looked up and tugged the rope that was attached to a large sack of flour that he had put on the ceilings. When he pulled the rope, the flour sack fell down with a heavy boom, putting flour everywhere.
The boys immediately began to cough, some having fallen down, and Jason took off running towards them, leaping upwards with a great jump and sailing over their heads before he ran to the door, threw it open, and then closed it. He locked it with the key he took from the local priest and then put a board over the lock, just to be sure.
The door was banged upon to no avail. They shouted and screamed and cursed, but Jason almost couldn’t hear them as blood rushed to his ears from the adrenaline.
Jason took a deep breath, looking into Jazz's calm eyes before he took a flint and steel out of his pocket.
He lit the cathedral on fire and took several steps back.
For a moment, the fire only calmly spread along the line of oil that Jason had put out early, before it went under the large door. He had planned everything so meticulously that it was almost ridiculous.
There was a moment of silence, and then the cathedral exploded.
Jason jumped and then smiled as the fire spread to the entire building and began to burn.
Several people had now been sacrificed for Jazz. It was a few more steps towards giving her a new body.
Soon, he would be able to meet her.
Suddenly, hands tugged him backwards into a soft chest.
A warm chest.
"Jazz?" He whispered. Could it be?
Was it actually enough?
"I'm here," Jazz said softly, laughing.
"You're here!" He beamed and turned around, eyes wide. Her cheeks were ruddy, her eyes glistening with the light of the fire, and her hair blew around her in waves from the heat and air.
She was so lovely that Jason didn't know if he was dreaming or not. Her hands were warm within his and his smile almost hurt with how much it stretched his face.
"You're really here!" He said again, unable to hold back his glee.
"Yes!" She said with another laugh. "I'm here." She brought one of his hands to her face and nuzzled his palm, her breath gusting over his fingers with warmth.
The glow of the raging fire behind them only made her look even more ethereal. She smiled and then said, "Thank you, Jason, for bringing me to this world."
She pulled him closer, and enchanted, he let himself be manipulated by her as she pulled his chin upwards.
"Let me reintroduce myself." She whispered with a smile. "I am Jazz, your own personal god of change and transformation. Jason Peter Todd, for your efforts in reviving me and bringing me into the mortal plane, I will make this world bow to your whims. Do you accept?"
He nodded dazedly and she pulled him by the head.
The fire burned behind them as she sealed their lips together with a promise.
With her here with him, they would never be apart again.

Yes, later in the future, Jason will have two younger brothers who fight all the time, another younger brother, two sisters, and a big brother.
The reason why Jazz is a god of change and transformation is bc she changed and transformed Jason into who he was now, and Jason also changed and transformed her with each sacrifice.
On another note, the original idea of this fic was that Jazz was kind of like Jason’s subconscious that manifested into a girl that encouraged him to murder anyone and everyone that offended them. Some included Willis Todd, Felipe Garzonas, Sheila Haywood, etc. In the end, Jason becomes a gang leader of his own accord with his hallucination, Jazz, by his side. But that took too much brainpower from me so… this fic is more lighthearted than the others :)
Thank you to @meditating-cat for betaing!

Okay! Finally got this done (focused on a lot of other things but I did not forget). This is the 9th prompt that @sehfi asked for (it is not letting me @ you love tumblr it's great)
Promise I'm still workin on these y'all just a bit slow going alskdjf
anyway have more dads
Raising an infant who was still relatively half turtle, maybe just a little less—approximately 43.7% according to Donnie—made it very different from raising a typical baby. Any advice they got was usually from Splinter, who raised four of these kids once, and anything Splinter couldn’t answer, Jason and Donnie would put their heads together to figure it out.
For example, as Splinter warned them early on, the turtle gene kinda destroys the whole immobile to crawling to walking phases. Holly could crawl pretty much a day after she was born, and she got proficient at it. Jason sometimes felt bad that her “room” at present was a giant decked out tank. But given her size at the time—she fit in his palm for crying out loud—it became a necessity. Heaven knew where she’d end up if they let her wander free.
But when she got bigger—at least big enough that Jason held her with two hands—she was allowed to scurry about the apartment with minimal supervision. And scurry she did. Any room that wasn’t closed was immediately explored. She crawled under furniture, into crevices, up a few shelves, and somehow onto the kitchen counter once.
Jason asked Splinter if his boys ever did this. Despite the fur on his face, it was easy to imagine him sweating when he said yes. Just imagine keeping up with four of them in a sewer of all places. He assumes it's why his hair went grey so fast.
And if she could get around like this on all fours, well, Jason dreaded what would happen when she figured out the whole bipedal thing and her hands were much more free.
At a year and a half, Holly figured that out. Longer than usual for most babies but considering she could navigate so well on four legs, the transition to two wasn’t nearly as pressing. Evidently the motivator was trying to climb up to the table to get to the freshly fried shrimp Donnie or Jason would leave on the table.
And, like Jason suspected, the trouble only increased.
If only he bothered to realize that her scampering around on two legs wasn’t the only concern when it came to her getting bigger.
“Get back here!” Jason shouted after his daughter.
Donnie laughed and encouraged Holly to run off with the big bag of fruit snacks. Damn his husband for not helping. The last thing they needed was her ripping into that package and eating herself sick, because that is something she did on the regular. And Jason would clean up the puke nine times out of ten because Donnie would get way to squeamish with it.
Also those were his fruit snacks.
Holly giggled as she took off down the apartment hallway toward her room, the bag crinkling as she went. Jason began to catch up, only for an arm to catch him by the stomach.
“Donnie!” He immediately snapped and tried to thrash out of the turtle’s grip. “Let go.”
“No way, she deserves a head start.”
“She is going to eat those and get sick.”
“Relax.” Donnie pulled him closer. “Let her have some fun.”
Jason didn’t stop trying to wiggle free. “You’re going to say that until she steals your snacks. Now let go.”
Donnie lightly shook him back and forth, teasing.
“Quit it.” Jason snapped. “Quit it or I’ll bite.”
“How do you know I won’t be into that?”
“I know for a fact you are not into that, Donnie.”
Jason felt the breath on the back of his neck before Donnie’s sharp teeth gently brushed over the skin. “Bite me and I’ll bite you.”
Jason quit struggling but turned his head to glare. “Don’t threaten me with a good time.”
Donnie shrugged. “If you insist.” He sat on the floor, arm still tightly wrapped around Jase’s middle.
Jason didn’t get a warning besides that when he felt Donnie nip at his ear. He jumped and fought to hold back his laugh. “Hey. Knock it off.”
“Nah.” He bit his earlobe next, then trailed down his neck. They were all gentle, only enough to tickle, and that was possibly the worst part about it.
“Donnie!” Jason squeaked and tried to tug away. “You’re making me ticklish.”
“A successful distraction.”
“Oh yeah?” Jason managed to say despite another nip to his shoulder. He saw Holly leaning out of the door to her room. The fruit snacks were gone, but it was doubtful she’d eaten them. Perhaps she couldn’t open the bag. Or maybe Jason’s laughter caught her attention. Anytime she saw her dads having fun she just had to join in somehow.
Donnie blew a raspberry against the back of Jason’s neck. He burst out laughing again.
Holly scurried over—on all fours this time—her eyes wide and curious.
“Ah, the criminal returns.” Jason held out a hand for her. “Where did your spoils go, ma’am?”
Holly took his hand. Her four little fingers held onto his. She stared at it, then at her dads, then at his hand again.
Then she giggled, opened her mouth wide, and bit him.
The pain hit, hard, but thankfully it was still dulled enough by shock that Jason didn’t rip his hand away, which would have made everything worse. He just stared at his daughter, who still had her mouth on the part where his thumb meets his palm.
“Uh,” Donnie said. “Is that—”
Jason saw the drop of red start to slide down his skin. Holly stared at him, clearly confused. Then her face twisted in disgust and she pulled back, smacking her now red lips.
Oh, that was a lot of blood.
“Okay!” Donnie immediately scooped Jason up and carried him into the kitchen. Jason held his hand under the sink for a moment, letting water run over the injury and oh that made it sting twice as bad. As soon as he pulled it back Donnie pressed a spare dish towel over the injury.
“Sit. Sit.” Donnie gave the demand before he simply picked Jason up again and plopped him into the kitchen chair. “I’m calling Leo.”
“Donnie, I doubt it’s so bad—”
“Calling Leo.” He announced and walked out of the room.
Jason pouted, but kept pressure on the injury. He heard Donnie speaking on the phone, and then Holly’s concerned whines. After a few minutes, his husband returned and carefully sat her on the counter as he worked on cleaning out her mouth. Holly protested at first, a few sharp whines and even a scream, but eventually relented.
It was during this that Jason actually realized just how big her teeth had gotten. Not something you think about with how fast kids grow.
Leo flashed into the apartment with a portal, a med kit tucked under his arm.
“Man, where is it this time?” The slider already cracked a few jokes as he approached the table. “Is your daughter going to give you a scar to match the one Donnie gave you?”
“Not funny, Nardo.” Donnie snapped and picked Holly up. She clearly wanted down, waving her arms and reaching towards the floor and then towards Jase, but he didn’t loosen his grip.
“Sorry, I’m going to make fun of that until we all die.” Leo kept grinning as he rolled his eyes. “Come on, let’s see the damage.”
Jason let Leo work, keeping his eyes on his daughter rather than the injury in question. He didn’t really want to know how deep it was. Seeing stuff like that would still remind him of that nasty injury he got on his leg years ago. Despite how much time had passed, anything that made him think he was back in that storage room made his breathing halt.
“Thankfully not bad enough for stitches, but you’re gonna wanna keep this clean and avoid moving your hand too much or you’ll reopen it. Hope you don’t mind some tight bandages.” Leo said before stretching out some medical tape and getting to work.
With everything properly wrapped up, Leo stowed his supplies away and stood. “There, let me know if anything weird happens with it. As for you.” He turned toward his niece and tapped her on the nose. “Watch your chompers.”
Her answer to that bit of advice was to open her mouth and try to nip at Leo’s finger.
“Hah, apparently not.” The slider kept smiling. “Cya Tuesday Donnie.”
“Yeah, thanks Nardo.” Donnie called after his twin as he vanished through another portal.
Jason sighed and stood. He walked over to Holly and reached out for her, but she opened her mouth again and he retreated.
She really didn’t like that, her whine shifting into tears and a wail.
“Whoa, whoa.” Donnie shifted his grip so she was laying in the crook of his elbow instead. “What’s wrong?”
Jason frowned as he watched her. He reached out again and the tears slowed, but once again when his hand got close enough she opened her mouth. He didn’t let go, but he moved his hand away, and once again she got frustrated.
“Wait,” Jason said. “She probably thinks it’s a game.”
Donnie blinked at him. “Huh?”
“You were playfully biting me and we were laughing. She probably thinks it’s a game but she doesn’t realize how hard she’s biting.”
“Oooooh.” Donnie carefully lifted her up so she was at eye level. “Holly. No no on the biting.” He snapped his teeth again. “Yes yes with this.” He gently smooched her head.
Holly still didn’t completely get no and yes sometimes. She knew what the words meant, of course, but sometimes it was harder to explain specifically what about her actions were a no-no.
Thankfully even at this age she was pretty good at mirroring, so sometimes it was just a matter of repeating a behavior until it stuck. In fact, Donnie repeated himself a few times, showing the actions again. Then he shifted her around so she faced Jason.
He reached out for his daughter again. He let her take his hand. But this time instead of opening her mouth she instead pressed the bottom half of her face against it. She didn’t exactly give him a kiss. More like she just pressed her lips together and blew out some air.
Jason snorted, then laughed.
Her face lit up and she repeated the motion a few times.
“Okay, okay.” He took her in her arms. “Don’t do that too much. It’s so cute I might throw up.”
“No, no, keep going.” Donnie pulled out his phone. “I need a video.”
Holly giggled, still repeating the motion over and over again. Who knew how long it would take for her to get tired for it.
Oh well, he could tolerate it. Her delight made the lingering pain in his hand more than worth it.
#scribbly fics#jasonnie#rottmnt#Donnie doesn't always call Leo for med stuff#only if he thinks it might be bad enough#cause Leo's generally steadier with it#not the first time Leo's treated this kind of injury either lmao lmao lmao#won't be the last either#I sent a friend a blip where Holly bites Donnie when she's older#(he tried to grab her when they were having a typical father daughter disagreement and she didn't think)#anyway that one DID need stitches#I got another one of these just as I finished this haha#am glad
