‘’don’t you dare complain, you were the one who insisted on walking me home and not taking the bus.’’

nicholas just rolled his eyes in response to your remark, shoving his hand further down his pocket in an attempt to somewhat warm up his now frigid, bright red hands while interlocking his other one with yours. 

of course he insisted on walking you home, what kind of boyfriend would he be if he didn’t? 

even though your boyfriend was clearly suffering, the tip of his nose bright red and his whole body shivering, you couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at the sight in front of you. nicholas, however, just couldn’t appreciate the warm chuckle leaving your throat, the laugh he usually loved oh so dearly; not right now, not when he felt like he was on the verge of hypothermia.

‘’why are you laughing?’’ he let out, his eyes scanning your face as you tried fighting back a smile. ‘’you’re cute when you look like that.’’ your smug comment caused him to frown, fighting back the urge to roll his eyes once again. ‘’look like what?’’

‘’you know, with your nose all red,’’ 

nicholas eyes widened at your comment, his eyes landing on your lips; a small smile forming on your plump lips as you looked at the now clearly flustered boy in front of you. 

there weren’t a lot of things in this world that made nicholas flustered, but you were certainly one of the few things that did. and he loved hated it.

noticing the small smirk forming on your lips, he shook his head; a small smirk forming on his own. ‘’oh, yeah?’’ he let out, his hand slipping out of his pocket; causing you to eagerly nod, enjoying the sight of your flustered boyfriend a little too much.

‘’shouldn’t have said that,’’

before you could even process the words that had just left your boyfriend's lips, you suddenly felt him place both of his hands on your waist; a loud gasp emerging from the back of your throat as you felt him pull you into his chest before spinning both of you around. 

almost losing your balance, you grabbed onto the collar of his coat, the snow that had fallen just a few minutes prior melting against your touch; a mix of giggles and small shrieks trailing off your lips as you tried stabilizing yourself. ‘’nicholas!’’ you exclaimed, grabbing onto his coat even harder - trying to prevent yourself from falling over.

a chuckle left nicholas lips, ‘’what was that? you’re sorry for calling me cute? no? what a shame,’’

another small shriek left your lips as you almost fell over, feeling dizzy from the boy twirling you around, pushing your body closer to his. ‘’alright, i’m sorry! i’m sorry for calling you cute!’’ you exclaimed, pressing your cheek against the fabric of his coat as you squeezed your eyes shut.

feeling satisfied with your apology, another chuckle trailed off nicholas lips as he placed one of his hands on the back of your head, pulling you into a proper hug; without spinning you around this time, that being said. ‘’that’s more like it.’’ he let out, slightly pulling away; your eyes meeting his. ‘’you’re such a jerk.’’ you muttered, a small smile accompanying your words as you spoke. 

nicholas just simply cocked an eyebrow at you, ‘’ouch, i took you out for dinner, and that’s how you thank me?’’ he joked, his hands finding their way towards your waist once again. you hummed in response, nodding your head; your hands now resting around the nape of his neck. ‘’that’s what you get for being stupid and not bringing warmer clothes with you when you knew it was going to be cold,’’ 

rolling his eyes, nicholas was about to protest; before suddenly feeling you press a soft kiss against the tip of his nose. 

‘’but i guess that’s okay, you do look cute with your nose all red after all.’’ you whispered, a small smirk forming on your lips before pulling away from the shocked boys’ grasp, small giggles trailing off your lips before you continued walking; leaving the boy with his lips parted in surprise.

‘’what? get back here right now!’’

maybe you were right, maybe he should’ve worn warmer clothes that night; but if it meant that he got to hear you call him cute, he didn’t mind getting frostbite and losing a finger or two.

you don't know exactly when you started liking maki. he had been your classmate for so long, yet you didn't even notice him until now.

as long as you can remember he has been holding the doors open just a little longer when you were walking besides him. he made you laugh at p.e. class when you had to play basketball against him, and he chuckled when you apologised for accidentally hitting him.

everytime you looked at his direction he was coincidentally looking at you too, and sometimes you could feel his stare when you were listening to the teacher.

none of that had done anything to you, it wasn't that significant until now.

suddenly, a switch had flipped inside of you and you find yourself happy that he holds the door open just a little longer when you are walking behind him.

his eyes follow you when you're near him, like you're someone important to him amongst the crowd of people. how could you not fall in love when he had been trying to get you to like him for 3 years now?

it was like fate had finally decided to put the two of you together when your math teacher decided that the class needed a seating plan.

at first, no one was happy. the only reason for the sudden plan was because your teacher couldn’t bare the chaos of having the class choose their own seats.

you walk into the classroom, gloomy, and your friends feel the same way. what were all of you supposed to do in math class without each other?

the teacher points out to the paper in front of him, the layout of the class printed on it, and names handwritten by himself.

your fingers trace the paper, searching for your name. fortunately, you’re somewhere in the back, so it wasn’t as bad as you had anticipated.

maki, who was standing next to you, looks up at you. you only realise why he’s looking when you see his name on the seat next to you.

you smile at him, hoping he couldn’t hear your heart beating so loudly. maki had known it all this time, that one day he would get the chance to get to know you.

Hi everyone, FanaticSnail here. I usually post fics on here to de-stress at the end of a long day and relay my little thoughts within my mind to wind down of an evening or as they come to me. My Masterlist.

Unfortunately, I also use writing as a procrastination tool.

To motivate myself recently with practicing my music, I have been treating each practice as an audition to bring before our wonderful Clown-Captain. Buggy only deserves the best minstrels after all.

your biggest passion was sketching.

no matter who it was or where you were at, you loved sketching the most beautiful things out there.

that including your classmate and partner, asakura jo.

“and lastly.. y/n and jo! you two will be partners!” your art teacher had smiled at the two of you. you turned around to look at jo, who sat at another table, and smiled at him. he looked at you and gave you his soft smile.

as everyone was walking to their partners, you grabbed your stuff and walked over towards jo, “hi jo!” you said to him. “hi y/n.” he replied back in his soft deep voice. “so do you wanna get started?” he asked you as you nodded.

“we have to make a small sketch of each other, right?” you asked him as he nodded his head, you both grabbed your sketch books with your pencils, getting ready to draw each other.

“okay, do you want me to draw you first?” jo asked politely. “if you want to, i don’t mind.” you told him. you stayed still as jo started to sketch you, it was pretty silent between you two before jo suddenly came closer to you.

his hand went and removed a strand of hair that was near your face as he tucked it behind your ear. “sorry, it was impulse i guess.” he shyly said as you laughed at his action, you didn’t care, it was cute anyways.

he slowly but surely finished drawing you, “okay im done, do you wanna see it?” he asked you as you nodded. he showed you his paper with the drawing of you on it. “woah jo! that’s so pretty, i look better on there then in real life.” you joked as he smiled at your joke.

you two switched places as you started sketching him, as you were drawing him you couldn’t help but notice the little details about him, you didn’t realize you were staring at him until he said something.

“is there something on my face?” he asked as he took you out of your trance, “ah no! i was just looking for your details.” you shyly said as he paid no mind to it. you quickly finished your drawing as you noticed the bell was going to ring soon.

“and.. done!” you showed him as his eyes widened. “woah.. this is really good, thank you y/n!” he replied as you felt your face get hot, “your welcome jo.”

“oh and class! before you leave i’ll mention that the partners you have now are the partners you’ll stick with for the rest of the school year!” your teacher yelled out as the bell rang, signaling everyone to leave.

you and jo packed your things and walked out of the big art room together. “i’ll see you around then y/n.” jo softly said, smiling at you as smiled back at him.

you were going to sketch him more often, and you didn’t mind that at all.

synopsis : the girls soccer team hasn’t been doing great since the school year started. when nicholas starts taunting you about it you make a bet with him. will the two of you figure your differences out when your soccer team has to play against his?

TO SAY YOU WERE SCARED WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT . You were absolutely freaking out, and there was nothing to stop the fact that in just a few hours you would be playing a soccer game in front of the whole school.

Liz and Rei tried to calm themselves down by having a sleepover the day before, but as you just saw on twitter, it hadn’t helped the slightest.

And now it was time to leave. You tried to take deep breaths, do whatever you could to ease the stress.

“Goodmorning my lovely teammates!” Chaewon exclaims as she enters the changing room. “Are we ready to win today?”

The groans and sighs that are supposed to be an answer to the question makes Hanni giggle.

“Is there any way we can back out now?” Rei inquires, she’s sagged onto the bench of the changing room.

“Nope! So in a few minutes we’ll get up that field and play like our lives depend on it.” Chaewon cheerily replies.

“I didn’t even touch her!” You yell at the referree, as you throw up your hands. “Ahe just laid down for no reason!”

The boys on the bleachers could feel your frustration. The minute you got the ball in the opponents box, the referree would call it a foul.

“Don’t mind, y/n! Let it go, we don’t have time for this right now!” Chaewon yells, and you nod. Your adrenaline is coursing through your entire body, you don’t know if it’s because you’re angry or if the training had helped. Either way, you were determined to win.

Your head is spinning from the hit. What was that? the ball? no, that couldn’t be it. Your hand reaches to your forehead, and when you look at your hand you see it. Blood. And not a little of it. Why doesn’t the referree blow his whistle?

Then again, something hits your head. This time you’re sure it’s the ball. Was it on purpose?
