#winick purist isn’t even all true#I do love the little two issue martinborough did#and I liked cheer and task force z which I knew a lot of winick purists weren’t a fan of#tho I didn’t finish task force z so I don’t know if I’ll still like it haha#and I was a fan Arkham’s depiction of Jason even if he wasn’t y’know the comic book Jason I’m into#I ultimately liked Arkham knight genesis too even if I disagree with some things#but yeah I think I’m winick purist when it comes to my favorite characterization of Jason#and as a fan content creator I’d like to try creating something that’s just winick based#because my own Jason characterization is based on a Frankensteined together monstrosity extrapolated from my Jason Todd comic hunt#and even then the characterization isn’t locked down because it technically morphs enough to serve the narrative#comic book canon is a grab bag and I’m picking around the Bounty’s and Turkish Delight’s#ramble#never clarified that brain dumps are like puzzles my brain is working out#so sometimes my brain will dump out some talking points I haven’t really gone over proper#like ^ where I don’t really agree that I’m valid to be labeled winick purist#this is pretty much my writing process#I’m putting daydreams to paper then working out in post of its in character#trashbat writing struggles
