Inspired by a dear friend who loves green, I'm on now a green-color-loving-spree myself and got a few pencils/markers to play around around with.
#there aren't many options available here in terms of brands#but derwent's inktense pigments are always pretty#one day i will also try prismacolors#i've been lowkey pining over them since the early deviantart days where i would see a lot of people use them#a staple aesthetic was a full-body illustration of a fantasy canine done in an almost sculpture-like manner#where fur was bundled together in huge clumps shaded with vibrant colors#and as a background#the paper was treated prior with watercolor and salt#or other chemicals#god that stuff was so good#commentary
