Plot Wishlist (Rent-A-Girlfriend edition):

One of my muses (Arganan and/or Calista most likely) is in need of a date for a reason (to prove to their family that their love life is better than before, potentially) . So, they rent a girlfriend or boyfriend (YOUR muse!) andddd chaos ensues. 

Calista is one of the people that works as a professional “girlfriend” and your muse just hired her for a one-night date. The problem? She’s been keeping this job a secret from her uncle and chaos WILL ensue if he finds out. 

Therius is the rented “boyfriend” for your muse for the night and he’s doing a great job of acting like he’s on his first date with your muse...until it dawns on your muse that he’s actually never had a real date before.

New Verse: Disney Descendants!

PLEASE NOTE: This verse is mainly inspired + based off the movies and doesn’t take the books into account (though it might later on as the mun plans to read them). 

Calista Arganan is a student at Auradon Prep. She’s supposed to be next-in-line to rule at Lazulis Island, but in reality she’s actually already ruling Lazulis. Due to her uncle being too physically weak to rule after the war with the Gurak finished up, Calista had no choice but to take over ruling Lazulis while also finishing her studies. Also, though she’s technically still single, she’s engaged to Zael (who stayed back in Lazulis to learn about the politics and court life and stuff because, as a former mercenary, he needs to figure things out back there). However, that hasn’t stopped others from trying to gain her hand in marriage, which is being more annoying than anything else right now... 

Please note: Calista being engaged to Zael could change depending on what happens in threads or I could even just write her as completely single (aka NOT engaged). Feel free to ask me about this in IMs if you want to plot anything romantic with Calista in this verse. XD

Lucius Arganan is the current Count of Lazulis...but only in title. In reality, though Lucius is the face of ruling Lazulis Island, everyone really knows deep down that it’s Calista that’s truly ruling, due to Lucius being too physically weak to rule after a recent war with the Gurak Continent. If he’s not making sure Lazulis Castle is fine and when he’s not checking in on his niece via letters and other forms of communication, he’s holed up in his room at Lazulis resting. Because of his weakened state and the fact that he’s only Count in title, a lot of the other official nobles look down on him pretty badly, which isn’t great.

Zesha is the newest prisoner on the Isle of the Lost, after the war with the Gurak Continent against Lazulis Island, led by the now-deceased King Zangurak, failed. As punishment and also due to being Zangurak’s right-hand man, Zesha was sent to the Isle of the Lost to live out his days there. However, he hopes to escape one day and make it back to the Gurak Continent. 

By the end of Descendants 3, Zesha took the opportunity of the permanently-destroyed barrier to escape and is currently trying to figure out how to get back home to the Gurak Continent. 

Asthar currently assists Arganan with things back in Lazulis. However, he often comes to Auradon Prep to just kind-of check in on Calista and Therius on behalf of Arganan from time to time. After surviving his own near-murder attempt during the war between Lazulis and the Gurak, as well as how Lazulis is post-war, Asthar felt that it was best to stay in Lazulis and help where he could. This has basically resulted in him being a go-between for Calista, Therius and Arganan with him traveling back and forth from Lazulis to Auradon and back.

Therius is sent to Auradon Prep as a fellow student of Calista, and also to protect her from any harm that comes her way. Therius originally wanted to return to the Empire where he came from and train new knights for Lazulis, so being stuck as Calista’s personal bodyguard while she’s studying at Auradon threw a huge wrench into his plans. However, since protecting Calista is part of his duty as a knight, Therius does so without voicing any complaint (at least not openly).
