Maybe like a red unit that turns green - but attacks everyone on your team who isn't Billy, which means, of course, Billy will have to end them.

Chrom hold the idiot ball at times, and even if everyone loves Corrin was grating at times, it was no way on the level of Billy.

You play birthrout? Leo will fight against you, because he has values, he is a Prince of Nohr and you are also attacking his country. Arthur will not join you, and even Charlotte, a border guard, will die because Corrin might be special, characters exist without them.

Lysithea? Dgaf about her family, her friends or her country. Sylvain can ditch his childhood friends because teacher had huge bazongas when he was in high school and it'd be rad to join the country associated to the class this teacher taught.

Edel, Dimitri and Claude were supposed to be well rounded characters who can and could exist without Billy.

Edel? Gets the doodling scene, the rat scene and the wtf you put your war on hold because you looked for Billy during 5 years???

Dimitri? Dedue has to be fridged to make place for Billy. Much like Rhea, Dimitri has to forget about his friends and existing support network to make place for Billy.

Both Edel, Rhea and Dimitri share a twisted version of "I was alone B4 U uwu".

Claude? Opens up to... Billy. No, not to Hilda who is his more or less designed second, who shares his opposite bias (pre ts Claude is biased against Fodlan and its institutions, Hilda is biased against Almyra), both could learn from the other and show that people who thought were different are, actually, not so different.

But no, Billy's the trusted friend.

I'm not talking about ships here, ship whatever you want, but the story was written with Billy as the ultimate player pandering experience, as a result 85% of Fe16 characters suffer from the "I might have a developed character but it still has to be shallow enough to make me abandon it to join Billy" syndrome.

Remove Billy and the Lords, all three of them, might go through a better journey than the routes offered in the game.

Otoh, since Fe16 is Billy's story, it was bound to end like this. That's why I want my War of heroes dlc, because no avatar
