Nothing like reading the comments on a thread asking "would you date someone with hardly any relationship experience" to really expose how that ~you still have time~ shit is not quite as true as optimistic people would like you to believe

#worst thing i could've done i was hoping some people would say yes #but just ended up wanting to slash my wrists #i don't think it helped that it was a polyam forum with experienced people who tend to prioritise partners with high relationship skills #and are fed up with handholding newbies #which yeah i get it #i'm just tired #it's just been one thing after another for me my whole life - unrequited love - family dying - undxed adhd absolutely totalling my mental #health - university grinding me to paste - severe chronic illness ... and every year it feels like the glass wall between me & other humans #grows higher #i was a neglected child and excluded at school and i feel like ive had this incredible loneliness stalking me my entire life #anyway this was your regular vent in tags blech #it me
