#also when i was digging around genealogy earlier for that poll i came across the church my matrilineal great grandma was a matron/deacon at#and apparently at least their current congregation seems fairly decent? like having the progress flag as a ring around their logo#and frontpage 'all are welcome means all'? which is kinda super surprising tbh given how staunchly conservative grandma and uncle are#like they'll literally go on about how they're 'losing the culture war' and voted trump bc 'he's unchristian but we need the scotus spots#to repeal roe v wade'#but they've also long since left that congregation or even denomination tbf lol grandma i think is now Baptist and uncle Catholic#but yeah. interesting.
