Okay I understand Andor being most people’s favourite Disney+ Star Wars show
And that is an excellent choice because it’s an amazing show
But I always get kind of upset when I see people explain why it’s their favourite
Because I often just see people saying that it’s the best because it doesn’t have *insert list of stuff that other star wars stuff has*
But like…most of what I see in those lists are what makes star wars...star wars
#if you can’t complement something without putting something else down you’re doing it wrong#andor is an amazing star wars show no matter what...so why do people insist on insulting everything else#it just doesn’t make sense to me#to me star wars needs to have silly moments and cheesy characters and dumb dialogue to feel like star wars#i love when star wars hides real and important and relevant messages about the world behind a wall of absolute buffoonery#most people talking about star wars onlie aren’t little kids#and andor is the only mainstream star wars thing that doesn’t specifically try to cater to kids#so it makes sense that most older fans will like it more#but I really wish people would go back to understanding that just because you aren't apart of a popular product's target audience#it does not mean that product is bad#it just means it isn't for you#basically what i'm saying is why are you watching star wars if you don't like star wars?#andor#star wars#disney star wars#oh also this isn't about casual fans who watched andor for reasons other than it's a star wars show#kate's post
