ok i part of me gets this since with the exception of bathroom spiders (they get relocated outside) spiders can stay and i just clean to more often to discourage ants and flys, and sometimes I wake in a cold sweet at 3 am and need to know everything about stinkbugs, but I have ongoing beef with the local squirrels and i have absolutely called them pests in to past

i hate it when i look up stuff about insects and 9/10 of the first results are all pest control websites. go away

#entomology #just saw a website call a squirrel a pest #??????#in what world #some are invasive but i dont see how they can be seen as pests #<<< previous tags #squirrels have dug up my strawberry plants roots #hopped on my shoulder and stole the first ever strawberry ive grown out of my hands when i was a child #this year's causalities include a watermelon the tomatillo and three tomatoe plants #i wouldnt go so far as to poison the land to laugh at the corpse of my enemies while standing in a barren field land somehow set ablaze #but ive been putting chili pepper in near my plants #trying to protect them with wooden dowel supports #and am strongly considering putting an anti squirrel birdfeeder #my next step is going to be mixing cayenne and red chilie flakes with the soil #this wont be a problem if they went after the fruit like the birds and slugs and ants #instead of DIGGING UP AND EATING THE ROOTS
