âmasterlistâ
âJohn B, what are we doing at the police station?â JJ asked, breaking the stuffy silence that was consuming the vehicle.
âSomebodyâs gotta tell them what happened.â He justified.
âNeed me to come in, like, as a witness?â you asked. He shook his head.Â
The heavy quiet was broken by Pope, coughing like heâd inhaled chili powder. âEasy there, chief.â JJ reprimanded, and you took the blunt away from your friend. âAlright,â JJ leaned through to John B, âIâm just gonna be real with you right now,â You watched his red cap, âYou might end up in the lionâs den, but you donât go there on purpose. Itâs fundamental, just like my old man always told me, you should never, ever trust cops. No matter what the circumstance is.â
âYour old manâs an abusive liar.â Kie countered.
âI agree with JJ.â Pope spoke, and you frowned, holding back the giggle in your lips as he continued, âFuck the police.â
âYou going to the dark side now?â Kie snarked.
âWhen was the last time the police ever helped us?â He countered.
âPeterkin looked out for me, alright?â John B interrupted, âOr tried to, at least.â
There was a moment of thick quiet before he continued.
âThey need to know.â
He looked around, none of you willing to argue as he got out of the car and entered the station. You looked over to JJ, who was determinedly ignoring your stare. You wondered what the fuck was going on because last time you checked, you had been on good terms with him. You sighed, looking out the window and waiting impatiently for John B to return so that the awkward silence would end. You took a hit from the blunt youâd taken from Pope, letting the smoke swirl around in your lungs before gently blowing it out, ignoring the frustrated looks you got from the other three.
Next thing you knew, everyone was shouting and the car was accelerating, the officer trying to open the car door discarded as the shocking adrenaline rush took ahold of the speeding car. Eyes wide, you took another hit from the blunt.
--
âGood news for residents of the Outer Banks, Dominion Power says their underwater transmission line, which will restore power to 95% of the area, should be functional within 24 hours.â
Sirens passed, but in the hazy atmosphere of the car, no one moved, other than to make sure the car didnât turn. Pope and Kie sat in the front, JJ and John B to your right, seats reclined as you all attempted whatever kind of rest was possible on the worried heat of the day.
âAnd still no arrest for the shooting death of Sheriff Susan Peterkin. The state police have issued a statement regarding a local person of interest, a juvenile from-â
Kie clicked the radio off, glancing over at the three of you in the back.
âLetâs game this out.â JJ suggested, âMaybe you guys can help, being the smart ones and all, but⊠who are the cops going to believe? Ward Cameron or us? So the accuser is a big shot developer, kind of lord of the island, got the governor on speed dial kind of person, and the accusedâŠâ he looked over to his friend, âis John B, who is pretty much a homeless 16-year-old boy at the moment.â
âThanks.â came the hoarse voice of the boy across from you.
âShit.â you muttered, running a hand over your face and sitting up straight for the first time in hours. You twisted so that your back was leaning on the back oh Kieâs seat, and you were facing the three boys.
âOkay, man, Yucatan, alright?â JJ said, swiftly avoiding your arm as you stretched, âIâm saying, thatâs the only option, what other option do you have?â
âEnough with the Mexico bullshit.â John B shook his head. âSarahâs gonna bail me out.â
âShe did witness the whole thing.â Kie pointed out.
âSo did I?â you reminded, âSo what? Sheâs gonna snitch on her brother for her dick appointment of the week? No offence, bro.â
âItâs not happening.â JJ reiterated, âWeâve gotta get you off the island.â
âThe ferry.â Pope said, âItâs the only way.â
âExit stage left while you still can.â JJ added. âBefore the entire island is on lockdown.â
âGet down.â You reminded him softly, and you all ducked. You reached for JJâs hand, but his simple gesture of pulling it away made you feel embarrassed, unsure of whatever was going on between you. You turned away from him, looking out the window again.
âSarahâs not a pogue, John B.â Pope reminded.
âYeah, you canât stay here, man.â
âLetâs go then.â You muttered, and Pope pulled out, driving carefully to the docks. They were crowded, and you got out before anyone could argue, thankful for even two minutes out of the suffocating atmosphere. You walked to the sign, reading the notice about the ferry closure and ripping the wanted poster off its staples. You walked back to the car, reading it as you reached the vehicle, then passing it through Popeâs window and shaking your head solemnly. You got in next to JJ as they passed the paper around, JJ making a joke.
âOkay, so the whole islandâs looking for John B right now.â Pope said.
âWell at least you know how much youâre worth.â You joked, receiving a frustrated look from Kie.
âCongratulations, John B,â JJ smirked, âyouâre famous.â
âWe gotta get to the HMS. We need small, no running lights-â kie began to reason, but John B cut her off.
âItâs at the Chateau, Kie.â
âAnd I wonder if the cops have got the entire place staked out.â JJ said, voice dripping with sarcasm, âLet me think. Yeah, no, they definitely have that place locked down.â
âHey Jay?â you nudged him, an idea forming, âLike, a couple of weeks ago, you mentioned your dadâs boat? The Ghost? Spectre?â
âThe Phantom!â JJ and Pope caught on.
âHe still got it?â Pope asked.
âMaybe.â
âYou could get that right up the coast, no problem.â Pope said.
Bickering followed, and then the sudden realisation that Popeâs car was on the poster. Suddenly, someone was hitting the window and the car wasnât starting and everyone was shouting. The car lurched forwards, straight into another car, and then took off, driving away as people watched, shocked.
The car sped forwards, crashing around as you all shouted for Pope to stop, his high ass was definitely not fit for driving.
âJB,â you shouted over everyone, âyou need to get out.â
Pope braked, all of you thrust forwards with the force of it, and you found yourself pushing John B out of the car while JJ shouted instructions at him.
--
The two field tents were massive, rows of chairs on either side as swarms of people worked, talked, and typed. You wandered around for a minute or so, watching the officers interact, always being pushed back when you tried to talk to anyone. You could feel the eyes of the security team burning into you as you looked for Shoupe. Eventually, you saw him, talking to a taller man in an SBI windbreaker. You walked towards them slowly, finalising your plan in your head.
Shoupe saw you, and stepped aside from the conversation so that he was facing you, the agent turning as well, a frown forming as he took in your scruffy attire and the faint smell of JJâs weed that was clinging to your clothes. You looked between them, âUh, Officer Shoupe, I have some info.â You greeted.
âWho are you?â The agent interrupted, looking you over again.
âUm, Iâm Y/N Y/L/N, I know John B.â you clarified, and he nodded.
âWhat have you got for us?â he asked, and you breathed in, and out, pinching yourself slightly.
âI saw everything on the airstrip.â
The SBI agent introduced himself as Bratcher, then they sat you down in one of the tents, letting you explain what you saw, uninterrupted, and asking questions when they saw fit. They told you that your account, while plausible, was a hard one to argue, especially against Ward Cameron, unless you had a second account to back it up.
Sarah Cameron, you thought. Talk to Sarah.
After taking your statement, they left you to sit in the field tent, shivering in the cold breeze and no coat, watching them call your dad, listening out for any relevant information you could gather.Â
You could feel their eyes on you, discussing what to do with the information you had for them. An officer, you couldnât remember her name, had draped a jacket over your shoulders at some point, then led you away while the SBI agent gave a briefing.
You waited at the end of the tent, looking for anything to cease your worry and boredom.
Then you saw her. She looked as lost as you had, trying to work out who to talk to, just like you had a few hours ago. You stepped towards her.
âSarah?â she turned to you, going to hug you, but an armed officer stepped between you, pulling you apart. âNo, sheâs my friend!â you struggled towards her, another officer holding her away from you, both of you shouting.
âWhatâs happening?â Bratcher asked, all of you stopped struggling.Â
âThis is Sarah Cameron,â you explained, âshe was there, like I said.â
He looked between you, and nodded, asking her if she was able to make a statement. They took her away, sitting her down at the other end of the tent, letting her talk. You saw Ward approaching.
âY/N?â he frowned, and you raised your eyebrows.
âHow do you know who I am?â
âSarahâs mentioned you.â he looked around, âhave you seen her?â
âOh, is she no longer locked away in her room?â He tensed, confusion and anger contorting his features.
âHow do you know about that?âÂ
âCanât say.â You said, âNot a great parenting strategy, just saying.â
He leapt forwards, a madness in his eyes that youâd never seen before. He grabbed you by the throat, screaming in your face while you clawed at his grip. Within seconds, other bodies were pulling him away. Your panic subsided, and you looked at Bratcher. You could use the situation to your advantage.
âSee what I mean?â you yelled, pointing at him as you faced Bratcher, âHeâs crazy! I told you, he attacked Big John, heâs the reason this is all happening!â
Bratcher sighed, signalling for his men to take away the older man. âI have to say, Miss Y/L/N, your story is making more sense. Two stories matching perfectly, his temper. But we talked to your father, youâre free to go, weâre almost done with Sarah.â
âWhatâs going to happen to John B?â
He sighed, âWeâve gotta bring him in, you understand that.â
You nodded, âI hope I shed some truth to the situation.â
You walked away, leaving the jacket on a chair as you passed, sending a reassuring smile to Sarah on your way out, you wandered the streets, finding your way to JJâs house.
By some kind of miracle, you arrived at the same time as Kie and JJ. He was getting out of the car when he noticed you, and instead of making any move to hug you as normal, he froze.
âLook, JJ,â you sighed. âWhy are you mad at me?â
You stood opposite him in his front yard, staring at the way he sighed, an odd mix of relief and defeat adorning his features. âI saw some texts, from Tyler.â
You nodded slowly. âI rejected him, if thatâs what upset you. Since I met you, no guys have been the same, you know?â
His eyes pulled in slightly, as if realising that maybe, just maybe, it wasnât one-sided. âDid you sleep with him?â
âYeah.â you glanced at the floor, âI donât really know why. Things were weird between us and I just - I missed my old life. But it was like, the confirmation I needed.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âI love you.â
His jaw dropped slightly in shock, running you words over in his head, working out whether you were genuine. You began to step back, and before you could think about what had just happened, he was kissing you.
It was urgent, emotive, full of everything that you couldnât put into words. You broke apart, still slightly shocked at the confession. You looked at his front door.
âDo you want me to come with you?â
He looked to Kie, who was pretending she hadnât watched, and nodded apprehensively, slipping a hand into yours and leading you to the door. He opened it, leading you through into the mess. You stepped over shoes and bottles as he led you in, calling out for his dad.
You ventured into the living room, seeing his dad passed out on the sofa, a half empty bottle of something on the table next to him. âDad, I need the keys to the Phantom.â a snore sounded, âDad?â
You looked down, noticing the sleeping pills and picking them up, showing the bottle to the blond boy next to you. Watching him, you could practically feel the hurt resonating off him, masked by his strong resolution as he looked back at his dad. Noticing the chain around his neck, between you you found a pencil and pin to get the keys with.
You stood a couple of feet behind him as he knelt down, preparing himself.
âWell, I didnât expect to see you.â
The voice was a murmur, almost soft, and your heart was beating in your throat. You knew what he was capable of.
âYouâre back.âÂ
This time, Luke had more clarity in his voice, and was more awake. He hadnât noticed you yet.
âJust checkinâ in.â JJ said, backing away as the older man sat up, taking a swig from a beer bottle.
âSchool out already?âÂ
âWhat?â JJ frowned.
âDid you ditch? Itâs alright, you can tell me.â
JJ nodded slowly, âYeah. I hit the break, you know?â
âI hated school too. My boy!â Luke chuckled. You felt intrusive, like you were standing in on a moment that wasnât yours to see. But the moment felt intimate, hitting you where it hurt as your eyes went glassy. âYou know what? Listen, hey.â he stood shakily, âHey, look, I know Iâm hard on you sometimes.â JJ hummed, fear mixing into his pain, âBut sometimes I - I see your mother in you, and it gets me a little tweaked, you know?â
You wiped a tear away, the scene before you hurting more than you would like to admit. The man looked at you, and you could see JJâs shoulders tense.
âYou got a girl?â he didnât look away from you.
âUh, yeah, Y/N.â JJ looked over at you, worry seeping into his eyes.
âYou treat my boy better than I could, okay?â You nodded slowly, more tears slipping down your face.
âOf course.â your voice broke slightly, âI love him.â
âMe too.â His head turned back to his son, âI love you, son.â He pulled JJ in, âCome here, I love you. I love you, son. I love you.â
More than anything, you wanted to call him out. Tell him that if that was true, then he wouldnât hurt JJ like he did. But whatever this moment was, it wasnât the right one to do so.
You could hear JJ sniffling, letting his hands find their way onto his fatherâs back. When he spoke, he sounded like he wanted to be stronger than he felt, his voice thick, pained, struggling. âLove you too, Dad. Iâm sorry.â
âAinât got nothing to be sorry for.â His father muttered, the sleeping pills pulling him back out of consciousness, slowly as ever. JJ helped him down onto the sofa. âYouâre a good boy.â came the murmur.
JJ let out a shaky breath, not sparing you a glance as he pulled the chain from his fatherâs neck and stepped away. He looked back at you, almost embarrassed to have let you see him in such a vulnerable state. He turned to leave, your voice came out as a hoarse whisper.
âJJ, you donât always have to be strong, you know that, right?â

LOL AS SOON AS I OPENED THIS UP I REALIZED THAT FOR THE 8TH TIME IN A ROW MY AU POST IS JUST GOING TO BE A THIS RANDOM STREAM OF INFO AT SOME LATE TIME AT NIGHT RIP
but anyway demon slayer au
In this verse Mia became a demon slayer to investiage what happened to their mother, and ends up becoming a pillar. Extremely young talented and personable, she was greatly beloved and respected by fellow pillars and the other demon slayers. Known for her levelheadedness in even the worst of situations. Im also thinking that like, to mirror how even police who usually hate defense attorneys greatly loved Mia and mourned her death. I was thinking that the demons who went toe to toe with her and escaped, actually really respected her and her fighting ability. Mia also had pity for the demons she had to kill and treated them kindly. Mia died protecting Maya
Maya is still the Kurain Master in training and most everything about the village is left unchanged. In this verse, the Kurain Masters are meant to be trained to be able to kill demons as well. In fact the sword passed down from Misty is made from the same iron as the demon slayer swords, but Maya was left untrained due to Morgan never training her properly as a kurain master, since she had always planned to kill Maya one day.Â
The demon slaying corps occasionally call on Maya to go on missions with other demon slayers, due to the fact that she can channel her sister. Her aunt encourages and guilts Maya into going on these in the hopes that she dies. Maya is unable to channel her sister unless in times of great stress but over time manages to do so more consistently much like in the games.
Much like her normal verse, Maya is constantly in her sisters shadow and tries to fill her shoes in whatever way she can. Though she often hears how she pales in comparison from the women at the village. She works alongside Phoenix, Mias successor quite often but does work with other demon slayers as well.Â
Eventually, though MUCH further down the line, she does learn how to fight on her own merit, but shes not amazing at fighting. Shes possibly only a step above your run of the mill mob character. Her real strength lies in out of the box thinking.Â
Maya retains most of her powers from her normal verse. Subconscious ability to tell lies, channel spirits. Â
Also as a small note, the reason why Mia gave up her position as kurain master and became a demon slayer even though kurain masters also learn how to slay demons is because kurain masters are also traditionally unable to leave the village under most circumstances. Morgan initially didnt allow Maya out of the village and was planning on murdering Maya herself but once the demon corps decided to start asking for Maya, she decided to use that as a good chance to get rid of her without dirtying her own hands.Â

âI think Iâm in love with you and that scares me half to death.â Lance to Keith maybe? B) but anything is fine <3
you know just what to send to break my heart now donât you? B))
Hope you like it! <3
From these prompts
*****
Thereâs something about looking at old photographs.Itâs not tangible, itâs not an emotion you can really describe.
Keith would call it nostalgia, but itâs not, not really.
Thereâs nothing nostalgic in the photos where he stands alone, a pouty child that doesnât look to the lens, the person behind it not catching his interest, not meeting his gaze.
Thereâs nothing nostalgic in the photographs he sent to his brother Shiro in his high school years, sitting behind a desk with bloodshot eyes and cigarettes roughly hidden in the background, photographs captured and sent only to prove that heâs alive and as well as he could be when staying alone, when his apartment was always too dark, too quiet. Too lonesome.
He supposes, though, that the feeling changes as he scrolls through his phone, looking to his recent photographs.
It starts slow.
A photograph of him, Shiro, Matt and Pidge, all looking to the camera with tired smiles, after a day of packing and moving; it was the day he and Pidge moved in together to start university, anxiety in their stomachs and a rush on their cheeks.
Thereâs more, of Pidge trying to reach a cupboard and standing on a chair on her tiptoes. Matt, playing video games with Shiro, his mouth open as if yelling, Shiro smirking as he glares at the screen.
Then come more people.
Thereâs Allura, her elbow resting cheekily on Shiroâs shoulder, looking to the lens with an effortless beauty, a small smile and a wink. Keith is somewhere in the background, his lips turned into a frown, a pile of books to his side.
Here comes Hunk next, a shy smile and hands forming the victory sign, Keith standing next to him with a neutral expression, Pidge in-between them holding a teddybear thatâs the same height as her, the blinking lights of an arcade behind them.
Then thereâs Lance.
A blurry photo at first, one he took himself with a casual smile and half lidded eyes, which he then instructed Keith to set as his contact photo.
Another of Lance and Hunk, devilish smirks and a few more with expressions more ridiculous than the other, on a day Keith left them unsupervised with his phone.
Thereâs a photo of Lance and Keith that Hunk took last year on halloween, dressed as Scully and Mulder, Lanceâs height simply unfair in the short black heels he was wearing, his wig falling slightly to the side. Pidge is there too in the back, dressed in a green morph suit with beady black eyes, holding a sign saying âI want to believeâ.
Keith wonât admit to taking the next few photos. If anyone asks, heâll insist it wasnât him that took them, that he doesnât even know how they ended up on his phone.
But thereâs a photo of Lance, his eyes shut and lips parted, his cheek resting on his palm, glasses pushed up and expression serene, half-asleep over a pile of medical books.
Keith only took it to tease him for it after, for falling asleep in the middle of a study session. He never expected his stomach to twist and turn, for his heart to leap, hands shakily begging to go through Lanceâs hair, to feel the urge to kiss the silly expression off the boysâ lips.
There came more candid photos after that.Of Lance having coffee, the froth of it sticking to his upper lip like a moustache, one eyebrow arching as he recognises what happened. Thereâs sunlight hitting his eyes, making them impossibly lighter, his skin molten and expression incredulously adorable.
Lance, with his fingers hidden in his sweater and covering half his face, nose red from the cold, looking to the camera, to Keith with a frown, eyebrows furrowing yet eyes full of emotion.
Lance with his damn grin, showing off white teeth and crinkles by his eyes, glasses resting on his head and pushing tuffs of hair back and away from his face, and then another immediately after, the softest of expressions on his face, his smile small and gentle, an emotion in them Keith canât pinpoint.
This isnât love.He canât let it be love.
Lance is Keithâs friend, has been for years now, and Keith would be lying if he said he didnât dream of the day he could stand across Lance and tell him what he feels, what the butterflies in his stomach do to him, how his heart threatens to burst each time Lance smiles his way.
But he also knows that whatever it is he has with Lance is fragile, not malleable in the least bit.
He knows Lance, knows how he flirts, how he leans close and winks towards people he finds attractive, with that sly smirk and raising eyebrows, body languid in what heâs conveying.
He knows Lance would never choose him.
With a sigh, he puts his phone down, exiting the photos app, looking to the door of the half-empty coffee shop as the bell chimes over it clink, three figures heâs come to recognise in a crowd slowly entering and coming his way.
Keith nods and smiles, digging his nails in his palms when Lance takes notice of him and his lips turn upwards, a laugh and hello already on his tongue.
Keith canât lose this.He canât lose Lance.
Even if the feelings eat him up on the inside.
*****Itâs the middle of exam season, the library becoming Keith and Lanceâs second home, Pidge and Hunk content to visit every so often and bring the two coffees and snacks, since their exam period is different from theirs; theyâre in engineering and Lance and Keith are in medical sciences.
Theyâve been at it since morning, gobbling up book after book, information entering and exiting their brains at impossible rates.
Itâs around midnight when Lance groans across of him, stretching in his seat before slumping down, his chin hiding into the fabric of his hoodie.
âIâm tiredâ he exclaimed with a huff, slipping lower and lower into his seat.
âDrink some coffee?â Keith offered, nudging his still warm plastic cup to Lance who accepts is with a pout, bringing it to his lips before coughing and pushing it back to Keith in disgust.
âItâs sweet! Itâs so sweet oh my god I feel my pancreas dying-â
Even through his antics Keith laughs, relishing in the way Lance exaggerates and frowns, going as far as to stick his tongue out, looking to the offending coffee with a menace.
âItâs not even that badâ Keith shrugged.âIt is the living embodiment of badâ Lance retorted, âhow do you even drink this?! Itâs so sweet!â
Keith couldnât prepare for what heâd say next.It was probably because of the fatigue, because of the blurriness in his vision, because of the stars he saw in Lanceâs eyes when he turned to face him, big baby blues looking to him, hair tousled and lips pursed.
âYouâre sweet.â
Neither of them spoke for a minute, simply looking to one another with wide eyes, Keith realising what he said a little too late.
Lance blinked once, twice, mouth flapping open and close before he looked away, his sleeve-covered knuckles reaching up to hide his face.
âSweet-Iâm-donât tease me like thatâ he mumbled.
Keith was about to apologise, before Lance continued, catching him off guard.
âIf anything, youâre sweetâ he whispered, so quiet itâd be otherwise lost in sound if not for the quietness of the library.
Keith said nothing, choosing instead to gulp and look back to his books, photos of bone and muscle swirling and blending. Â , unable to delete the image of Lanceâs flustered mind from his memory.
He wished he could have snapped a photo of that expression. He just prayed his mind would never remove it from memory.
*****The instances where Keithâs tongue slipped increased, and so did the times Lance would stare and blush, hiding into the comfort of his sleeves and shaking his head as Keith pondered why heâd just said whatever it is heâd just said.
He wasnât sure why, but there was something about the way Lance shied away that made his chest grow tight, heartbeat increasing.
Lance was never one to shy away from attention. He relished in the way people called him handsome or smooth, heâd smirk when girls giggled at his jokes, wink to boys who flirted back.
Why would he shy away from a mere comment of Keithâs?
The thoughts ate Keith up inside, to the point where heâd stay up at night, sitting on his windowsill with a dying cigarette, looking to the sky for answers, but to no avail.
He wouldnât get his answer until a month later, on a lazy night at his apartment when Pidge was out with Matt and Allura.
He was content with staying in for the night, maybe get some work done and play some of the video games Shiro brought with him on his last visit.
It was nearing midnight when his phone buzzed, getting two messages at once.
(1) Pidgetron: âay keef, im stayin @ alluras tonight. dont burn the house down kâ
He sighed and replied a quick âOKâ, heading to the text under hers.
(1)Lancey Lance: âhey can are u at home?â
That made him sit up from the couch he was laying on, looking intensely to his phone.
âYeah, whatâs up?â He replied hastily, holding his phone in his hand while he walked around the apartment, waiting for a reply.
His phone buzzed soon enough, a few consecutive messages in a row.
(4)Lancey Lance: âcan i come over?â(3)Lancey Lance: âits late but i just..â(2)Lancey Lance: âno never mind, its fineâ(1)Lancey Lance: âgoodnight :)â
Keith clicked his tongue and wasted no time punching in Lanceâs number and calling, waiting a few rings until Lance picked up.
âHey, my favourite Mulletman-â Lance started, and the hoarseness of his voice, strained with the faked high-pitch happiness made Keithâs stomach churn.
âYou can come over, or Iâll come by. Whatâs better for you?â
He heard Lanceâs breath hitch, before returning to the same tone as before.
âItâs about the texts isnât it-look itâs no big deal, Iâm sorry I worried you-â
âLance, donât. I know you. You donât-you donât have to do this.â He breathed into the phone, moving to the door and already grabbing his coat and motorcycle keys, âIâll be at your place in 20 minutes. Is Hunk there?â
Lance gulped.âNo. Heâs at that hiking club weekend camp.â
Keith hummed in response, locking the door and heading down the hallway.âIâll be there soon.â
Lance said nothing, and that in itself worried Keith.
âSee you soon Lanceâ he said before moving the phone away from his ear.
ââŠThanksâ he heard Lance say before disconnecting the call.
*****
True to his word, he was there within 15 minutes, standing outside Lance and Hunkâs apartment, waiting for Lance to get to the door.
Lance opened it, and the view of him was something Keith wished heâd never have to see again.
Lanceâs eyes were red and puffy, his smile strained and bleary, looking scrawnier than Keith remembered him in his oversized shirt and sweatpants, gait slow and tired.
Keith walked in, and a few minutes later found them on the balcony, looking down to the busy city through the bed of flowers and succulents Hunk and Lance planted on the sill, an ashtray balancing between them.
The times Keith saw Lance smoke were rare. There was the odd time during finals, when the stress got too much and the bitter taste was a welcome distraction. Thereâs a photo somewhere in Keithâs phone of the sight, Lanceâs eyes half-lidded and lips pursed as he blows out smoke, thick lashes posing shadows on his cheekbones.
This time was different.Lance was slow and deliberately quiet, illuminated only by the city lights and occasional red and blue of a passing police car, face taunt and back slumped, elbows resting on the metal bars not covered yet by leaves.
Keith couldnât take it, being so close but unable to do something, to bring the smile he loved back.
âYou knowâ he started, his breath coming out as misty smoke in the cold air, âwe donât have to talk about it. Not if you donât want to. But you-you should know that Iâll be here if you need anything okay? I can stay over until Hunk comes back, or I can call Pidge or Allura for you-â
He didnât get to finish his sentence before he got an armful full of Lance, his hands opening in instinct before coming to rest on Lanceâs shaking back, Lanceâs head on his chest.
It was short, just enough to feel the warmth of the taller boy before Lance hurriedly pulled back, shaking his head.
âYouâre-youâre really too damn good. I donât deserve you.â
The words made Keith shiver, the way Lance whispered them, the air too tense, the city noise and bustle quieting down for this moment between them.
Lanceâs breaths were ragged and shaky as he continued.
âI donât deserve to love you.â
Keith stared as Lance huffed a laugh while pushing the butt of his cigarette to the ashtray, eyes purposely looking away from him.His smile tugged down, turning into a frown, into gritted teeth as his nose scrunched up and his jaw clenched, tears coloured by street lamps pooling on the sides of his eyes.
Lance rubbed furiously at his face with the back of his sleeve, the sounds of quiet sobs each like a kick to Keithâs chest.
âI-I think Iâm in love with you and that scares me half to deathâ Lance whispered between cries, curling into himself.
Keith took a step closer, unable to form words, unable to comprehend what heâd just heard.
âItâs been like this for so long and-and I didnât mean to, I donât want to ruin this and I know I shouldnât, and it wonât lead anywhere, but it hurts it hurts so much to keep it a secret for so long and itâs been-â
âLance-â
âI know youâre the literal perfection and Iâm just me and thereâs a million reasons you shouldnât like me back I know that and itâs dumb but-â
âLance I-â
âIâve got a messed up head and I cry too much and speak too loud and Iâm too insecure and obnoxious and-â
âLANCE!â
His voice cut through their previous whispered conversation, through the barricade Lance had made with his hands in front of his face, his back on the wall and blinking eyes staring to Keith.
Keith took two steps and bridged the distance between them, his hands meeting Lanceâs wrists and gently tugging them down, never breaking eye contact.
âIâm gonna kiss you now. Is that okay?â
Lanceâs tears stopped, his lips trembling.
âIs that okay?â Keith repeated, waiting stubbornly for an answer.
Lanceâs expression was one of frozen shock but he nodded, and that was all the invitation Keith needed before tilting his head up and kissing him, slow and careful, contrasting the way he still held Lanceâs wrists in both hands, pinning him against the wall before releasing his hands in favour of cupping his face, rubbing the remainder of his tears with his thumbs.
âI love you. God dammit Iâm in love with you, been in love with you for so longâ he said between kisses, Lanceâs breaths now matching his, âand you tell me weâve been in love with each other all this time? That we were both too scared to admit it?â
Keith breathed a laugh, his own tears welling up, only different, happier, like anguish being released from his heart.
âRidiculous. You stand there, trying to tell me youâre not the literal sun in a human form, listing off things I love about you like theyâre flaws-â he rolled his eyes and kissed Lance again until they were both gasping for air, looking to one another, Lanceâs eyes still wide and lips parted, Keithâs stare stern and leaving no room for Lance to question his feelings.
âYou donât-when? Since when?â
âI donât know. I think itâs since the first time we met. It just took a while to realise it.â
âWe-we love each other?â
âYeah, we doâ Keith laughed, knocking his forehead onto Lanceâs.
âYou donât think Iâm not worth it?â
Keith moved back, looking to Lance, Lance with his face flushed despite the winter cold, lips plump and tear lines dried and etched onto his cheeks, palms on the wall to support his shaking legs.
âYouâre absolutely worth it. And Iâll be here with you, for you until you realise it. And after thatâ Keith breathed, his words sincere and  voice shaking, âAs long as you want me.â
âYouâll get tired.â Lance retorted.
âNever.â
âI cry a lot.â
âI know.â
âNo like, a lot. And I complain. Constantly. And take too long to get ready.â
Keith snorted.âTell me something I donât know.â
âAnd you love me?â
He smiled.âI love you,â he said, âI was scared, I was so damn scared thinking youâd never love me back, trying to convince myself I was fine with us just being friends but-but I canât. I love you.â
Lance was the one to take a step forward this time, moving from the wall and onto Keith, wrapping him in a bruising hug.
âYou smell like smoke.â
They both laughed, the sounds of cityscape returning.
âAnd you taste like it, but you donât see me complaining now do you?â Keith smirked, the sarcasm in his tone a trait Lance had managed to rub off onto him.
The laugh that followed is something he could only wish heâd be able to capture on film.
For now he was content to let it ring in his ears for as long as he could let it.
****
A few hours later found them huddled in Lanceâs bed, content to look to one another, whispering quiet reassurances and sleepy âI love youâs.
Lance went to wrap an arm around Keithâs waist, wincing and sitting back up when his hands made contact with the hem of Keithâs high waisted jeans.
âYou-youâre wearing pants!â Lance shrieked.
âYeah..?â Keithâs cheeks felt like they were on fire. What-what was Lance saying?!
âYou are wearing skinny jeans, in bed.â Lance stated, âWhat the hell Keith?â
Lance moved, leaning out of his bed and reaching for his drawers.âNo skinny jeans allowed in bed. Nuh-uh. Hereâ he grabbed a pair of sweatpants, throwing them to Keithâs chest, âput on something comfortable!â
Keith raised an eyebrow.âWhy? Theyâre pretty comfy, and I donât have to get up and change in the morningâ
The look Lance gave him could only be described as heinous.
âChange, now, or risk spending the night without cuddles.â
Keith didnât need to be told twice.
****A pair of sweatpants and folded jeans later, Lance was laying in bed, scrolling through his phone, his small giggles and sleepy eyes brighter with the screenâs light, tuffs of hair pushed away from his eyes.
He turned to Keith with a grin when he sat back down on the bed, Lance wasting no time in tugging Keith back down and besides him, phone still in hand.
âA selfie!â He huffed, opening his camera app and turning it to the front-facing lens, âwe need a selfie! This is an important event.â
Keith smiled but shook his head.âI look like death.â
âYou look handsome as always. I look like death, and I want a selfieâ
Lance pouted, making it impossible for Keith to not kiss the pout off his lips.
He pulled away when he heard the click of a camera.
âHa!â Lance grinned victoriously, then turned to face the screen as he took one more photo, just in time for Keith to look to the phone with a bemused gaze.
Lance tugged the phone closer to his chest, clicking through the two photos and showing them to Keith.
They were a bit blurry, both of them looking worse for wear, Keithâs cheeks puffed and Lanceâs smirk devilish, a glint in his eyes that spelled trouble in the second pic, his eyes blown wide and face half hidden in the first one, Keithâs face turned to the side and lips meeting Lanceâs.
âIâm using that as a screensaverâ Lance stated.
Keith sleepily hummed, throwing a hand over Lanceâs chest.
He made a mental note to tell Lance to send him those photos tomorrow.
After all, theyâd have a millions tomorrows to share together from now on.

Episode #7Â â#Zachexposed Partyâ -Jess

-VI was voted out and now Iâm forever sad. I wish you the best VI and hope you feel better soon! Goal #1 can never be accomplished now so thatâs a bummer. But at least my alliance member RACHAEL wasnât voted out! And now weâre doing Touchy Subjects with 95% negative answers. Drama here we come!Â
-We won another Challenge! Annie Tribe curse has been officially broken! Touchy Subjects was the name, and me winning was the game. I donât ducking know. But I scored the highest on my tribe and won a ~mysterious package~ which turned out to be an idol clue. âFind the idol will no longer be a walk on the shore. In order to succeed, two items you will need.â So at least three searches in the idol search I suppose. I might share the clue with JESS and BIRCH and have them help me find the idol. Though I might just tell them part of the clue or something so they donât have the whole picture. Iâm undecided. Iâm really hoping the other tribe votes off ALI, COLLIN or RUTHIE, since I think Iâm the least likely to work with any of those three. RACHAEL must stay, BODHI I could work with and TIMMY Iâm neutral on. CINDI is a bit of a wildcard but I think I could manage to work with her as well. JESS is speculating thereâs a merge after the vote and Iâm inclined to agree with that. A new idol search and weâll be at 13 players which is a typical merge. I did not come into this game expecting to win, or even make the merge. But now I think I have a real shot at going far. Imagine me getting to FTC twice in a row in Atomic. How cool would that be?Â

Death by Skittle

-(this is for last round i am a bit late) Last round in the video challenge, which I ended up somehow becomming the editor for. First of all, I asked for the video clips to be in by sunday night so that I could do the video and be done with it, but Chips put it off and ended up making us wait till Monday morning which really set us back. Then Keegan submitted videos with almost no sound and little feeling so it was hard to use any of his clips. Then Jess decided to edit the video I made, and when she did that the lyrics didnt match the song anymore and it almost cost us the challenge. We also found out Birch has a +10 advantage, so need to be aware of that.Birch and Chips are my biggest targets on this tribe, and i am still ina  really good spot with Zach and Jess, and close allies with Gavin and Keegan
-This round was touchy subjects. The tribe thought that I was the mvp of the tribe which makes me a possible target with the merge coming up. It was also revealed birch is not in a great place on my tribe and they also said they believe the majority of the tribe thinks I am next to go. I am concerned about my placement with them. Overall this round made me a bit nervous, but excited to hope for a merge in the future.

-There's a Mesopotamia/Svalbard alliance with Bodhi, Rachael, Collin, and me which I love cause I love all those people except Rachael sometimes but she hasn't had to do schoolwork once this game so that's nice. I'm just kidding I love Rachael as long as she doesn't have homework. Cause when she has homework that means she's voting me out. I swear the moment she has to do schoolwork its' done. And then Ali and Bodhi are on weird ground because of how Bodhi got rid of Ali in Lover BUT I REALLY WANT US TO HAVE AN ALLIANCE CALLED THE LOVERS CAUSE 1) Ali is very loyal so, like, I want to work with him 2) THAT NAME IS GREAT AND I DEMAND IT IN MY LIFE Then there's Timmy who has only spoken to me on call or in tribe chat. Nothing beyond that. So, like, bye Timmy. Bodhi also has an issue with Timmy but Rachael swears he's okay. But I don't want to have two Timmys anyway. What even are their last initials? Don't care enough to learn them. BYE TIMMY! Then there's Ruthie who is very sweet and I don't think super strategic? At least not at this point. She just seems like a nice mom. I don't even know if she is a mom. But she would be a nice one to, like, a 3? year old. Idk. Mom vibes. So I'd like to keep her in and I'm assuming that touchy subjects leads to a swap or merge (but this is a very early merge) so, like, hopefully she doesn't have to go after Timmy. It's absolutely insane to me that all of the tribals I've been to have been easy votes? Something spicy needs to happen sometime. Other tribe has had interesting votes. Not us. Couldn't be us.
-So Timmy thinks Collin, Rachael, him, and I are voting Bodhi out and possibly Ruthie as well. Yet he has still not messaged me once. Sir, why would I vote out Bodhi, whom I love dearly, to save your sorry ass when you have not even spoke to me? This dude either has an idol or is just crazy cause, like, that is not how you play Survivor. Do you actually want to stay? Then talk.

-okay! so we have quite a bit to catch up on... but on the bright side. WE WON IMMUNITY FOR ONCE! HALLELUJAH! i got sent to the treehouse which was EXCITING and i found the idol clue... which was literally to the idol i had so that was DISAPPOINTING to say the least. however, i also found the location of the other idol but someone else has it, which is good info to have at least. i posted a lot of my important information in my confessional, so i am just going to repost it here. basically, jess and i had a really good call about how we are not on the bottom, but are not in a good spot come merge. it's clear who is in power over here (zach, keegan, timmy)--because birch is with keegan, so we can't make a move against zach. so, if we lose again chips will leave (who is arguably a number for us because jess has him wrapped around his finger). on the other hand, i kind of have an in with zach and keegan--so i want to be able to milk that for as long as possible to get information on others in the game. but i am really not liking the closeness of timmy and zach especially (kind of keegan, but he has been a bit more lowkey the past few rounds, which is smart on his part). i just have a lot of adjusting to do, and i need to start planting seeds to turn people against each other (especially if we are merging soon). i feel good with rachael obviously, but i don't know how close she is with keegan/zach--but i do think she would turn on them eventually (just not anytime soon). im hoping the apparent alliance of 6 (now 4) and keegan/timmy/zach kind of battle one another and take each other out and i can just play the middle and watch them crumble.
-ARE WE SURPRISED MY CONFESSIONAL IS LATE AGAIN? I AM NOT... BUT I AM SORRY. anyways, this round the challenge was touchy subjects which was LOVELY for me because i am fucking AMAZING at knowing what other people are thinking so i basically knew i had it in the bag from the get-go. When we won, and I got that secret advantage which was an idol clue... that literally made no sense to me. however, i think i need to find two keys in order to get the idol... so, the first step for me is to hunt down these goddamn keys i guess. anyways, back to the tribe stuff... so, following the challenge and the post-winning glee emerged, jess and i went on call and discussed everything we were thinking. we were both very worried about crackhead zach's connections, and basically knew that we were merging, and he would be kind of untouchable as a result. however, if we were to have thrown the challenge, it would have been the perfect opportunity to take him out. however, it was too late to consider that, and we just had to continue our discussion about the game further down the line. so, on the topic of zach, jess mentions the "alliance" made between her, timmy, and zach. we both knew zach and timmy were very close, but this just confirmed it even more. basically, zach brought up the idea of making a 9 person alliance excluding ali, birch, chips, and i believe cindi. which, from that point, they could side with either me/keegan, or side with the other four (i don't know why i am being paired with keegan but go off i guess). i obviously didn't like hearing that, and it made it even more clear to me that he is playing not only a messy game, but an extremely wishy-washy game too. his loyalties seem to be all over the place, and i never see myself being one of his top priorities with collin, timmy, and rachael (and others) in the game. so, when the time is right... i am going to be the one to send his ass to ponderosa. i just hope i can keep my idol in the process for protection further down the line.

So itâll probably be between myself and Bodhi at tribal tonight because I donât really want him gone. Heâs talking to me about a plan but heâs not giving an concrete answers and with that then I canât help both of us. I already told him ruthie but he didnât want to and I said thatâs fine I only said her bc she seemed the easiest option, tbh I donât really want her gone either since sheâs not a threat. But when asking who he wants after that bc he said we could have our og tribe and ruthie vote together he didnât give a name. The concern is, Rachel and Cindi are friends and I donât think will vote each other. The biggest threat is Rachel because of her outside connections with Cindi, Zach, and I think Timmy Z, so concern is there.Â

Ladies, gentlemen, or whatever you identify as.... welcome to Phase 1 of the.... #Zachexposed party... hosted by me, Jess! I've decided I've been tame for too long and there needs to be a shake up. I haven't decided how quickly I want to do this BUT if I win first immunity I'm going for it. Zach is arguably the most dangerous player in the game right now. He's literally playing the game I typically play and I see right through it. No "large groups", working with small groups only, making people feel like they are his "true number ones" and attempting to align their interests with all the other groups. In his mind right now he sees himself covered by 8 people.Â
The 8 people: 1. Jess 2. Timmy Z 3. Gavin 4. Cindi 5. Rachael 6. Collin 7. Collin 8. Either Timmy L or Bodhi How does this all work exactly?Â
Let me break it all down for you: He has an alliance with: - Me & Timmy - Keegan & Gavin & (Rachael) - Me & Gavin & Timmy & Keegan - Connections with: --> Collin/Rachael/Cindi on the other tribe. I don't think it is a coincidence that the other tribe wants him on their team... ANYWAYS.Â
What is phase 1 exactly? - Planting the seeds, laying down the blue print, and rallying the misfits. How: Rallying the troops: - I told Chips about the old tree house idol clue and the whole next round we are merging message I recieved. --> Obviously that builds a continued line of communication and hopefully trust. He feels pretty alone and I really think he's CRUCIAL to my game. - I also told Birch about my findings because those two (Chips and Birch) would never compare notes on me I don't think? --> Birch also feels a bit alone and they are CRUCIAL to my game. Lastly, I have an "alliance" with everyone else and they will tell Gavin everything before me so I'll be in the know.Â
The ammo: - I can use the fact that the other tribe wants ZACH with them as another counter point - Confessionals of proof that Zach/Collin have been close recently which might not even mean anything to people but it counts when you got NOTHING. - The knowledge of him having an alliance with me/Timmy - The knowledge of him having an alliance with Keegan/Gavin - The knowledge of him having an alliance with Keegan/Gavin/Rachael - The knowledge of him being extra close with Rachael so whatever connections she made.. he has a head start on. - I also know he's close with Collin so they could essentially do the whole "control one side and you control the other"Â
HOWEVER THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF EVIDENCE/ AMMO IS: - Zach has basically given me the key to the palace today where he told me we could flip on Gavin/Keegan at 9 and "go with the other four" meaning.. Cindi/Bodhi/Collin/Rachael. Meaning.... he exposed who is he close with and people might wonder how they fit into his plans. Can't go to final 2 with 8 other people... 7 people will get cut and that's on mathematics. I'm not entirely sure how to go about this all... this is probably going to either tank my game or change the game. If Zach is as well connected as I think he is... this is going to be hard. I'll need to flip the people not in on that plan such as Ali, Chips, Birch, myself, Gavin, Ruthie... but there is NO WAY Ali just votes with us like that.. he has his allegiances. So I have to be subtle about this or I go gun blazing and be crackedt. I know we are merging tonight and it will be a new game and I'm excited.Â

-this tribal is about to be messy af. timmy threw my name out to ali, bodhi and ruthie with the logic that "itd be entertaining" and that im well connected which is fair. but im also well connected so like...ali and bodhi both told me about it which is cute. so if everything goes the way timmy wants it to go, its gonna be ali, bodhi ruthie on me and me, cindi and collin on bodhi leaving timmy as the swing vote. HOWEVER the tribe wants timmy out unan. bodhi and i might throw votes on ruthie just to protect me in case of an idol but yeah. its gonna be a fun one.
-there has been talk of a 2-1-1-1-1-1 split for this vote. i really wanna do it but cindi said no :'(
-also if i find out through this whole mess that Bodhi was playing me, i think i will cry for the rest of my life

hello so confessional time. I've been really deflated and second guessing myself but I'm turning it around. timmy is going home tonight and love him but he is donezo. in other news: - cindi, collin and bodhi...? defo a group. - had a kill bill sirens moment thinking cindi was blindsiding me earlier because of a miscommunication related to the fact that there are two timmys in the cast - am now in an alliance with cindi collin and ruthie co loves of my life - I think I made rachael mad today NNN my bad but im prepared and READY for 13th

So... I guess I am not very well liked on my tribe based on touchy subjects. I kind of got that impression anyway since I have been borderline inactive with the move. Anyway Jess told me that there is a merge coming up according to the tree house or whatever so... I hope I dont fizzle out and get booted right at merge. Not sure who to connect with but!!! I am ready to swing if the other side needs me .

October 2018
So its been a crazy few weeks,
We got back from the burn, mikey, jake and i went camping with jordan rabin in big basin, south of san francsico.Â
We had a beautiful experience, with deep reflecting and processing. We took some psychedelics and i came away with reevaluating my relationship with marijauana. I had some time to come to terms with the fact that this substance was no longer serving me and that i am taking some space from this relationship. I had some time to connect with jake and jordan, and mikey was able to process on his own, as he took the day to stay sober, and work on himself in a clear headed way.Â
It was a beautiufl day of self and group exploration, and a very good transition period
We then dropped mikey and jake off at the airport, jordan and i got some good time to hang for a minute and then i went out to vipassana, headed down to hang out with avi in palo alto and relaxed a bit before the journeyÂ
One night after spending a lovely day with avi, i went up to jordan edelheits house. In these few weeks in san fran, i had such an incredible opportunity to connect and grow my relationship with jordan. I feel like we really had time to sink in a bit more, and i truly feel that the bond between us is one of the more beautiful and healthier bonds ive had in my life. I have so much love with her, and so we have so much depth, that i feel like i was able to swim around in the pool of love with her. It was a similar feeling to my past âin loveâ experiences, but i noticed, that i had very little (or no) attatchement toward her. I had nothing i wanted from her, i had no expectations, and no desire for her to be a certain way. I was just able to share love with her, it was incredible. She is such a passionate, inspiring woman, and i was blessed to share space and time with her.

On that note, jordan met a man who was been running an event for the past 10 years in san francisco, called âyou are going to dieâ. At this event, any one in the audience, has the stage for 5 minutes. They can perform whatever is on their heart, as long as it revolves around the idea of death. In this powerful emotional experience, people share songs, poems, short stories or anything else that expresses their connection to death. Some people share about the death of an experience, or an identity; some share about the death of a car, or a loved one. Some talk about their fear of death, some dress death up to be a beautiful woman and describe a dance they once had with this woman. There are countless beautiful 5 minute incriments. The goal of this event, is to foster vulnerability and intimacy around something that we all experience. Itâs to create community through sharing our fears, joys and emotions.
Jordan had attended a few of these events and really vibed with the idea, so other than approaching the guy who ran it, and proposing they work together to expand the organization, she also developed a small, more intimate spin off of the event in her home. She was living in a moishe house (a jewish co-op) where her rent was subsidzed and in return she was required to facilitate a few events a month for young jews in the area. So she decided to run an incredible event, in which i had the pleasure of attending. The event was a similar format to âyou are going to dieâ but the topic, instead of death, was love and sexuality.Â
What an incredible night it was. It was a group of about 20-30 of the most beautiful people. People wrote and performed songs, shared poetry, told stories and shared themselves, in a small living room, off the panhandle in san francisco. I asked jordan if i could share part of one of the meditations i had been doing throughout this year. She seemed a little hesitant, as she didnt know what vibes i would bring and what crowd was coming that evening. As the evening started, jordan was supposed to start us off with a little poem but she was having some jitters. I, feeling very very nervous, knew that this was my opportunity to step up, and i did.Â
âHey, ive got a meditation to share to help everyone connect and calm down, and to set the tone of the evening, can i share?â i asked.

She smiled lovingly, and introduced me, and that was that. I had my five minutes, and the beautiful, sexy, intimate night began. I am so happy to have been able to frame the evening with safe and loving atmosphere.Â
About a half hour in a girl came late, and asked jordan if we had all taken mdma because we all felt so connected hahaha
I cant even begin to express just how magical those beautiful beings were, how at home i felt, and how in tune with the universe i felt.
MY TRIP! Mikey bribes a federal official
From aviâs, maytal dropped me off at the airport and i was off.
Max and D were in java, indonesia, finishing up a vipassana and mikey and i were gonna meet them and start our travels together. Plot twistttt, after vipassana, mikey told me he was gonna be on standby for the next few days because he was getting a free flight from ika, his previous lady friend. Maya faya messaged me, telling me that i should come see her in bali for the last few days of her trip. I could meet her for a few days as she moved on to australia, and i started my journey. Because i didnt wanna chill in java alone, and a guy at my vipassana told me java didnt offer a great deal for backpackers, i decided to hang out with maya for a few days. We had a nice few afternoons together, we tripped acid on the beach, talked about life, and processed her trip. Mikey was supposed to arrive the day before she left and we were all gonna do a bit of hanging for old times sake. So mikey calls me and tells me that he cant fly in until the day that maya flys out but he may be able to land a few hours earlier so we can all chill for a minute or two.Â
Maya and i are a bit bummed but, at least we got our time together. So i tell maya that ill drop her off at the airport and pick mikey up at the same time. This is the plan
BUT THEN!
Mikey calls me the morning of his arrival, and tells me that he landed in the singapore airport. All seemed well until he tried to get the airline to print out his ticket. They told him he wasnt allowed to get on the flight because he has a temporary passport and he wont be allowed to enter indonesia without a special visa prior to his landing. Hes freaking out a bit (completely valid) and were trying to figure out the best plan of action. The officials told him to go to the immigration office in singapore and take out a visa, which could take one to two weeks. FUCK

My thought process was that if could just get onto the plane, and land in bali, we could figure the rest out. It would be much harder to get rid of him once he was already in the country, and either way, it wasnt illegal for him to get on the flight. so the next step, was to figure out how to get him onto the flight
our game plan was as follows:Â
-try to ask another flight attendant to get him a ticket (because they might not ask for his passport)
-if that didnt work, leave the airport and come back in and try and check in, as if he had been in singapore
-if that didnt work, find him a hostel, find the immigration office and get him a visa asap
Heres what happened
Mikey asked three other flight attendants, all of whom denied him of a ticket and now knew his face.Â
Plan A-failed
So we moved to plan B, but not before figuring out plan C as a back up, because mikey was running out of internet time in the airport. So we found him a prospective hostel and found the quickest route to the immigration office just in case.
So mikey leaves the airport, and enters again. He does some shmoozing with the ticketing agent and GETS A FUCKING TICKET.Â
Ok so now he has to go through security, and then get passed the flight attendants, who all denied him, and know what he looks like. He manages to slip through, (at this point heâs experiencing an immense amount of anxiety)Â but then ten minutes before the flight, he finds out that the gate changed. So he runs across the airport and somehow sneaks by the attendants AGAIN!
He calls me and hes on the flight, thank fucking god. So i leave to drop off maya and i wait at the airport for mikey.
I get a message from mikey while im waiting for him at the airport telling me that shit went down and that if he makes it out, he has a crazy story for me.
I wait a bit longer, nervous that mikey may not appear. But then, like an angel decending from the heavens, mikey magnificently comes out, super suspiciously and finds me. Lets get out of here NOW, he says.
As we walk out towards the parking lot, he tells me part 2

Bradley Wright-Phillipsâ brand-new evidence; and Frank Lampard hems into relevance
Plus: the Rapids triumphing move dissolves hurriedly; Torontos better is back to his best; and Jason Kreiss triumphant return
A record-setting darknes started in atypical pattern for Bradley Wright-Phillips.
The Red Bulls striker expended most of the parallel in solitude, unable to get a clear touch in a dangerous situate, thanks in part to a choking Chicago Fire defense. But as has been the case since he joined the team in 2013, a bit of room was all he needed to show his form.
And on Sunday, it served to break records.
Wright-Phillips extra-time equalizer was his 63 rd as a Red Bull player, putting him past Juan Pablo Angel as the all-time dealership destination scoring leader.
Of course, I wont lie I like to break records, right holders of MLSs single-season goal scoring record said after the competitor. I try not to think about it, but when you say these kind of things, it obligates me proud.
A streaky striker by nature, Wright-Phillips has once again were beginning to warm up, scoring three goals in his last two pairs, break-dance the double digit goalscoring threshold for the third season in a row. But regardless of Sundays record, it is the nature of his latest point that has Red Bulls boss Jesse Marsch excited.
Ive been defying him to see more gamblings belatedly in video games. They did a good job of being hard on him. Every team we play knows Bradley is important. They focus in on him and Sacha, and Brad still manages to find ways to get objectives, Marsch said.
As good as Brad is, we are trying to encourage him to have a cut-throat attitude, that even if he doesnt have a lot of contacts in the game, he exactly necessity one to make a difference.
On Sunday, thats all it took for the Red Bulls to salvage a time from near cataclysm in the unfriendly confines of Toyota Park. I set a lot of work into what I do, Wright-Phillips said. And when you can make an accomplishment like that, it makes me happy and proud.
Welcome back to Major League Soccer, Jason Kreis
The two-time MLS Cup win and former NYC FC boss rejoined the challenger after a short incantation away from video games. His honor? A 3-1 succes in Orlando against the New England Revolution.
In some modes, Kreis astounded with his approach to the equal. In others, âhes havingâ stayed the same. The trademark of a Kreis side the diamond midfield was shunned for the conventional 4-2-3-1 that Orlando has employed for most of the season. His decision to start Antonio Nocerino and Servando Carrasco over Darwin Ceren and Cristian Higuita was surprising, as was his choice to start Brek Shea on the bench. All starting decisions, he said, were based on word in training.
But most of his lineup decisions followed recent precedent. The back four remained intact. Molino, who has lined up across every midfield place during Orlandos recent gauntlet of fixture congestion, noticed a residence on the left. Kaka reverted centrally behind Larin, with Hadji Barry making his third consecutive start of its first year on the right.
New England searched poised to participate spoiler, putting in an superb superhighway exertion through the opening 45 minutes. Kei Kamara âre opening theâ scoring, waltzing his road past the Orlando defense and detecting the net simply 18 instants in.
But Orlando saw their formation in the second half. It took Larin less than a minute to score, hitting Bobby Shuttleworth at the far pole with a calm finish. Second half sub Shea communicated in a cross in the 63 rd, spotting Kevin Molino to redouble the make. Molino capped off the darknes with a brace.
But the nighttime belonged to Jason Kreis, who managed to reignite a sleepy Orlando side to their first win since June 26 th.
Obviously[ Im] very, very happy, Kreis said after the competition. I visualize the week of handiwork that the players and staff have put in was excellent. One of best available weeks Ive ever been involved with. To see that work terminate in a really strong execution realizes me extremely happy.
Frank Lampard hems into relevant for NYC FC
Frank Lampard is the worst Designated Player sign in Major League Soccer biography: that was the narrative six short a few weeks ago. And with good reason. After all, his sketchy stay with New York City FC has been tainted by false starts, contractual distraction, fitness issues and questionable hurt concerns.
But his action on Saturday against the Colorado Rapids introduced an exclaiming differentiate on one of the most remarkable comeback stories of the MLS season.
Since reverting from a calf trauma, Lampard has been on fire. Donning the chieftains armband in place of the suspended David Villa, the Chelsea great revived his past form, scoring the first hat-trick in NYC FC history en route to a 5-1 win over the Colorado Rapids.
This was no small feat for Lampard or NYC FC. The Rapid were undefeated in 15 competitors foreman into Saturdays encounter an enormous achievement within the frameworks of the parity-laden MLS. Their protection allowed a paltry 14 purposes through 20 pairs leader into the weekend, the best preserve in the conference. Eight of their first 20 parallels ended in shutouts. Likewise , no squad has been able to score three against the Rapids backline all season long with or without Tim Howard.
And no single musician has tallied more than two aims against them, either. Until Lampard broke the working party. The Englishman, who has been the top scorer in MLS since his revert as a starter on 18 June, opened the scoring in what was initially a drab affair.
Lightning immediately introduced a pause to the match, but NYC FC accompanied batch of electricity on the restart. A second wayward foul from Michael Azira applied the Rapids down a human in the 37 th time. With Colorado reeling, Tony Taylor redoubled the pas before the half, and Steven Mendoza constructed it three shortly after the second. But âits beenâ Lampard who induced an unforgettable curtain call. First he curled a shot past Howard and then completed his hat-trick with fines and penalties. He is now among the top-1 0 goalscorers in the league.
Not bad for a presumed has-been, right?
He showed true-blue leadership today, team-mate Jack Harrison said. He was a true-life skipper at Chelsea and he proved it today. He substantiated everyone incorrect is demonstrating that we do need him and hes a key part of our success.
An abrupt death to a good thing
The Colorado Rapids forgot ugly against NYC FC â and that is putting it mildly.
We shot ourselves in the foot, said Howard. Its a small tar, its easy to get around, easy to defend properly and we didnt do that as a group today. Once the red-faced placard happened, the game was finished.
Despite the result, the Rapids should still be proud of what they have accomplished this season. After all, they continue to second in the West with one of the stingiest defenses in the league.
Now makes thrown their achievements in situation. Compare the teams current success to their woes in 2015. They have already overshadowed their win total last year with 10 wins in 2016 compared to nine in 2015. Their defense is actually comparable this year: in 2015 they allowed exactly 22 points through 21 coincides as opposed to their current 19 permitted. Their offensive wasnt all that different either, with the 2016 Rapids tallying 24 aims, compared to the 19 through 21 tallied last-place season.
So whats certain differences? For starters, Colorado are tallying first and accommodating on to wins a determining factor for any contender. Last-place season, they managed to tally first in eight of their opening 21 competitors. That was key to their momentary success on the year( 4-1-3 ). This year, it has been the bedrock of all the teams success, with the Rapids running a solid 10 -0- 3 when find that first point. Only NYC FC have opened the tallying more frequently( 14 of 21 matches ).
The team have also learned how to use dwelling domain to their advantage, running undefeated at DSG Park (8 -0- 3 ). That wasnt the instance last-place season as Colorado disappeared 3-4-4 in the same time frame.
Jermaine Jones has certainly been a part of their success. The squad is undefeated when the midfielder starts( 4-0-3 ). But Pablo Mastroeni has been a key catalyst as well. Continuity and identity is already foreign terms for the Rapids under Mastroeni. Now, key offseason acquisitions have bolstered the fraternity, and Mastroeni has effectively molded his high press arrangement to his players persuasiveness, may be required for his young roster to victimize antagonists on turnovers in the attacking third.
The result has been unfettered success and no single loss can take that away from them.
Torontos best is back to his best
No team in Major League Soccer travel their fates on the back of a single musician quite like Toronto FC and their golden goose, Sebastian Giovinco.
On Sunday evening, the Italian striker acquired the maestro label from countryman Andrea Pirlo, orchestrating and executing on each of Torontos destinations in a 3-0 shutout of the Columbus Crew.
It took all of eight minutes for him to show his form. A long-range blare ricocheted off the back of team-mate Tsubasa Endoh, vanquishing Crew keeper Steve Clark for the early precede. Endoh was credited for the goal â but Giovinco established it happen.
Just 16 a few minutes later, the Toronto offense inaugurated weaving their route through the Crew defense, finishing on a relinquish and depart between Jay Chapman and Giovinco. The former Juventus star took a curling kill on the outside of his foot to double Torontos advantage.
And he wasnt done there. Giovinco thrust Steve Clark into a diving save in the 55 th time. One instant eventually, a hazardous assaulting string assured Giovinco smack the same post not once, but twice, just missing on his possibility for a strengthen. Unable to find two seconds objective, the Italian striker reverted back to the role of distributor, this time connecting with Jozy Altidore for the end goal of the match.
His 12 th goal of the season introduces him merely one behind tournament lead David Villa. His two expedites on the night wreaking his season total to nine as well, tying him for second league wide. Those stats are all the more impressive when you weigh his nine-match scoreless shortage.
Weve said it before and we will say it again: the success of Toronto follows the success of Giovinco. Toronto are 5-1-2 when Giovinco scores. When he doesnt? An humiliating 3-6-4. Its recent, highly circulated nine-match tallying drought resulted in a paltry 2-3-4 evidence for the believed playoff hopefuls. With last weeks hat-trick and the coming week creation, the team have now strung together two prevails for the first time since April, putting them four degrees clear of the crimson line.
The Seattle Sounders can tell you the dangers of relying on a single outstanding representation to move the societies lucks. Two thirds of the channel into this season, and they are still trying to find a solution for the loss of Obafemi Martins.
Toronto may find themselves in a similar discern. But for now, Giovincos brilliance continues to mercy the Great White North and they will follow his contribute, for better or for worse.
