theres something here about maddie saying "is it circled with a heart around it?" and eddie does actually circle his dates with buck with a heart on the calendar in the kitchen

oh he absolutely does. in all ways possible digital and paper these guys are connected and communicating even if it’s just through a perfectly drawn heart (eddie can draw a perfect circle too I believe this) on a calendar on the fridge.

real question is why has tumblr started opening posts in a separate browser when i click 'view' on a post with blocked tags. i mean, it often does that with links to posts, but straight up taking you out of the app to view a post on your own dash? thats new

I wish tumblr had a mute account feature so you dont have to block someone. they can still see your posts, interact with you, and show up in your notifications, but they don't show up on your dash/for you/tags page.

there's this one person I don't follow and also doesn't follow me who narrates their daily life and their posts show up on my for you page every day. like 10 of them a day. I keep hitting "not interested in this post" and they show up again 5 posts down. I have never interacted with their posts outside of that even once so I don't understand why they keep appearing. i don't want to block because they did nothing wrong. but their long posts about their life multiple times a day when I dont care are very annoying. tumblr. stop showing them to me!

also, a mute feature would mean I can complete mutuals with nice people so they feel good and not think I hate them or something, especially if they want to be friends. then I don't have to see their posts if all they post about is stuff I don't like/care about. i'm trying to make tumblr my "happy place" where I can escape all the bad things in the world and my life and look at pictures of my narrow special interests to try to convince my brain there's still good in the world

i have a lot of AUs that i dont post about here (since theyre mostly y/n centric), but i just thought of one with rockstar!shouhei who keeps making the wrong decisions and rising model!y/n who just happens to be lucky:

in which hmr is a globally famous japanese rock band, breaking new records everyday and always making headlines. after nonstop touring and back to back album releases, the band decides to take a temporary break, each member opting to take it slow and work on their solo music to stand out as individual artists.

lead vocalist akagi shouhei starts of his solo adventures by attending his first high fashion event in paris, bringing in a lot of attention as he is the first member of hmr to attend a fashion event. fans are going crazy as they all crowd outside of the event, shrieking when he steps out of the car, decked in designer from head to toe as he heads into the gala.

shouhei is seated on the first row, where he’s vibing along with the indie rock music playing in the background and talking to other celebrities, enjoying the change in environment from the usual concerts, team meetings, and studio visits with the rest of the band. the show finally starts and he’s admiring the models strutting the ramp in the latest haute couture when he finally sees her.

she’s a vision in the dusky pink dress accentuating her small waist and showing off her slim legs. her long hair is pulled up in a french bun, lone strands loosely framing the delicate features of her face. he briefly wonders if she was a ballerina, suddenly remembering the jewelry box his mom owned when he was a kid. the one that played ballet music whenever he would sneakily open the box, the tiny ballerina figurine slowly twirling around in a dance, before she is locked away in the box.

all eyes are on shouhei as he watches the models walk the ramp, but he just can’t seem to tear his gaze away from a certain model that caught his eye.

I was excited for ArtFight showdown since I thought it’d be like, a mini Artfight where each team has a couple days to a week to get as many points as possible to move forward, but it looks like it’s just a poll.
