Liveblog: Wakfu Season 1 (episodes 1-9)

NOTE: I will be doing rewatch liveblogs of multiple episodes per post, because the focus of this blog isn't on the Wakfu cast, and I am not as well versed in their characterisations, so I won't even have much analysis to show you. Sorry ^^;;

Episode 1 - The Child from the Mist

I promise not to get sappy, but seeing season 1 after all these years does make me quite emotional. Ah, how the time flies.

Thank god I'm not a Yugo lore blog. I'd have to translate this too, as if I didn't go through enough psychological trauma. 💀

The sheer Bitch Olympics that would happen if Ruel opened a restaurant and you-know-which-three-men entered it, would cause at least 5 casualties.

I need this so bad. You have no idea how much I need this.

Episode 2 - Yugo the Eliatrope

I hang onto every mention of Bonta like a lifeline. I know Ruel might be lying, but imagining him having some marginal connection though like, Ruel's buddies knowing some people who know buddies of Jurgen-Crepins, is making me giddy.

Remember this tree. It will be important later.

Episode 3 - The Black Crow

Guys I think Ruel likes Bonta.

Anyway now I'm imagining the Bitch Olympics that would happen if he tried to haggle with Kerubim. Pangaea would explode.

I like to imagine this is the sort of life that would await Kerubim, had Lou not been smart enough to flee from the relationship.

Episode 4 - The Ugly Pageant

[linguistics major voice] It's just that y'know I really wonder what Ecaflip tongue is like and and. Personally, I think Joris is fluent in Ecaflip tongue, but can be a bit rusty at reading and writing it, while—— [I am forcefully taken off stage by the police]

Episode 5 - The Magnificent Five

One of my life dreams is writing a fic that's set during the Wakfu manga, or shortly after it, with Joris on the ship from the manga, or with the Wakfu cast being quests at his home.

The reason I want to do this, is that political discussions between Evangelyne and Joris would go so hard, whether they agree or disagree. They're both the sort of person who can masterfully turn every innocuous topic to Ogrest's Chaos/Monarchy/Climate Change/War. That, and I am a big believer in Evanglelyne&Joris&Amalia friendship (since Amalia and Eva probably had known him as kids, due to politics.)

Episode 6 - Vampyro

I think everyone who wears an enchanted cape to look cooler is a bit of a try-hard edgelord. Sorry not sorry, but this applies to Julith as well.

Episode 7 - Poisonous Beauty

[approaches mic yet again, more haggard, obviously beaten] Rabies confirmed to exist in Krosmoz.

Episode 8 - Xav the Baker

This moment is so important to me. You have no idea how important it is. Yugo and Eva both know that there's not much that he can do to bribe her. And its hilarious.

[puts on tinfoil hat] We know that Chtibrout Town and Xav the Baker are in Amakna. This means that this town is very famous for its baking — enough for a foreign king to be interested, and for a person from Bonta to come to compete here.

That, or this line of thinking is just a sign of my declining mental state.

Episode 9 - Ruel's Bag

The map lore deepens.

There is no safe place for mortals in the krosmoz.

Why being born a twelvian is already a death sentence.

I once came across a post of @phosphorus-12 talking with vinillain about a topic I incredibly became focused on.

The post where they were talking about Yugo never seeing his friends again.

I read their conversation three times, and each time I reread it, it became increasingly clear that Yugo’s situation is not worth being deemed worthwhile or even incredible.

Yugo's experience of death differs from that of his friends. Even the deaths of Dally, who is an ex-god, were considered normal in comparison.

We all know by now that Yugo has a death cycle.

No matter how many times Yugo dies and comes back to life, it will undoubtedly be a painful experience to see. Repeatedly facing death and returning to a life where he no longer remembers his friends can be a distressing ordeal. His recurring history of losing people and then losing the memory of them may stem from his purpose and role as one of the primordial eliatropes. Born to serve his people as a protector, Yugo’s original goal was clear, but now that he has experienced something new outside of his original home, the endless cycle feels futile, especially because he found something unrelated to his people that he grew to love.

If for whatever reason he gets told about his past life by someone who's been there, chances are, Yugo will literally say: "Well that's not me anymore, that was one of my past lives. I don't remember doing all of that with them." He'd respond so nonchalantly.

And the worst part about this is that WE KNOW HE WILL SAY IT LIKE THAT.

We've seen his and Adamaï's reactions when they went to Mount Zinit in the Wakfu manga (between season 2 and the ovas) and learned about their people and SAW THEIR OLD ROOM AND SHIP.

Upon seeing what was left of their past, Yugo and Adamaï do not express any bitterness or distress in the slightest.

This reaction confused me and slightly weirded me out because I expected them to have a more negative response, considering the life-altering nature of the event and the fact that they are now in a different world. Typically, one would expect some level of negative emotion upon returning to one of their gravesites, even if they don't remember their most recent past life.

Not only that, but Yugo even talks about his old reincarnation as if he were another person. When he saw the recorded message his past self tried sending to Adamaï, Yugo just addressed himself as "he" and not "I."

Even in this last panel, he had trouble considering and saying out loud that "that man" was him. Look at how his first instinct was to say "he" and not "I." It was only after a quick correction that he finally gave up and spoke with the knowledge that the man was indeed him.

Another thing I should mention about the manga is that @kerubimcrepin talked about volume 4 in this post and mentioned Yugo and Adamaï's cycle by comparing it to Joris. The line that especially hit me was this one, and I quote: "It's especially horrifying and off-putting because of how casual Adamaï and Yugo are about death and forgetting. Joris has always valued memories — they may as well be all he has of some of the people he loves, at this point. It's the reason he gifted them his fishing rod — in a way, it is a memory of Khan."

If he and Adamaï can respond with such nonchalant attitudes about the challenging and tragic events of their past lives, supported by visual evidence, then there's a possibility that he will also react with indifference in his next life to the news that he once had amazing friends in his old life.

So again, their reactions to seeing Mount Zinit and their old ship are incredibly eery and disheartening.

By the way I incredibly urge you to read what @kerubimcrepin said about volume 4 in the post I shared above, they absolutely killed it.

We know cameras exist in the World of Twelve thanks to Season 2. The Brotherhood of the Tofu went to an island to help an ecaflip rescue his fiance. At the end of it, and during the mission, we saw the male ecaflip using photographs in his flashbacks to explain what happened to him.

So if photographs and cameras exist in the World of Twelve, the least Yugo could do is capture his memories in pictures. His boufbowl matches back in the day are already engraved in history, but his memories with his friends had to have been kept in a photo book as well.

Despite not seeing Yugo capture any moments, I can heartedly believe that he'd be the type to capture those moments to keep them to himself secretly.

I headcanon that he keeps those photos in a safe box and stares at them when he's all alone.

To be aware that your life's experiences with other people means nothing to your cycle because you're going to forget about it all in the long run anyway is tragic and trauma inducing. Yugo will have to keep on living and living and living until there's no meaning behind living anymore. Life and death will have no meaning and no concept. Even if he can't remember his past lives like Qilby and Shinonome, he could someday be left wondering why he's even here anymore if all he's done is keep repeating the same life and death cycle for millennials.

I genuinely wonder if Amalia ever thought about Yugo's case at all. She's his wife now, so I'm curious to know if she thinks she's unintentionally giving him more burden on his shoulders or doesn't like to think about it, so she shuts her feelings away. The closest thing we've come to seeing her talk or even hearing about it out loud (despite already knowing it) was when she overheard Yugo talk to fake Ruel, aka Sipho, in the Enutrof level of Oropo's tower.

Yumalia has always been doomed from the start and I still don't know if it was worth it or not lol

But regardless, the reason why I even brought Yugo's immortal case into this is because despite having a very cursed cycle, there is at least one thing that his primordial status gets him saved from: being a mortal. At least a twelvian mortal anyway.

Back then, I initially assumed that if you were a mortal in the World of Twelve and died, you'd only go to a realm called Incarnam.

For those who don't know, Incarnam is a floating island that's located on the back of a giant stoned dragon. It's cut off from the rest of the world, but we can catch a glimpse of it at the beginning of Season 4 when we zoom in on the Brotherhood of the Tofu in the Inglorium.

Like the name Incarnam suggests, you reincarnate again and let the cycle of reincarnation run its course. Even if you die again, you'll still go back to Incarnam and repeat the process. You'll become someone else entirely and will have another different life. You won't be yourself anymore but your soul will be the same.

This process is actually a much more graceful way to tackle the cycle of reincarnation, unlike Yugo and his siblings' where they stay the same and act the same and look the same in every cycle.

But Incarnam has a catch to it. And my god, it's so dark.

If you were to ask me what the scariest thing about the krosmoz is, it would be the fact that mortals not only have a shorter life span than demigods, but their souls eventually cease to exist.

And by that, I mean the mortal souls literally expire...

The place where expired souls have completed their entire repetitional cycle go to is called Externam.

Unlike Incarnam, you can never leave from Externam.

Externam is the realm of the dead.

According to Externam's wiki, this is where souls who have completed their cycle of reincarnation are expelled from the krosmoz. There is a portal connecting the World of Twelve to Externam, and it is located in Frigost at Ilyzaelle's Belvedere, under the guard of the latter, who ensures that the souls found there do not escape.

Externam also happens to have a special section created to the side called "The Hall of the Brave" which is a place meant for the most rewarding heroes of the World of Twelve.

This dimension is led by the queen and creator named Thanatena. (who, by the way, is a direct child of the Great Dragon, which makes her and the council of twelve half siblings)

The left picture is her younger self, and the right picture is when she's older.

I can't imagine having your soul stacked away forever after you run out of chances and being kept there by some immortal whose job is ensuring you don't leave.

So what can you do to prevent this?

The solution? Become immortal.

If there's one thing that you DO NOT want to be in the krosmoz, is being a mortal. Despite having an afterlife where your soul gets to be kept in Incarnam for quite some time, it will eventually be in a state we never want to be in if you're not an adventurer: its expiration date.

I say it like this because if you were an adventurer, your soul would stay in "The Hall of the Brave," but who's to say it'll feel better than what Externam has in store for general mortals?

So when you think about it, when the time comes for the Brotherhood of the Tofu to die, they will all leave each other.

Dally, Eva, Amalia, and Ruel are all heroes at heart, based on everything we've seen them do, so they'll be put in the "Hall of the Brave" and tucked away forever.

Meanwhile, Yugo will die, get reborn, and forget absolutely everything that he came to love about this world and how he got to meet his very first friends, went on many different adventures with them, fought off demigods and other powerful foes, saved the world and risked it a couple of times, got married, and ruled a kingdom together with his wife.

He'll never remember them all, and when one of the very few people from his past life who could still be alive tells him of his past self, Yugo will shrug it off and wish the person luck.

THAT is exactly why Yugo would be doomed living among mortals and why Grougaloragran didn't just keep him at Oma Island. He knew how much Yugo had a big heart and would easily be capable of caring for mortals, who, again, have a very shitty life span and afterlife.

So, not only are Yugo's relationships lost causes, but the general system of life and death for mortals is terrifying.

This is why vinillain's response in the post I shared above hurt so much. Because Yugo is aware that he will react like this, he will respond indifferently in his next life if he ever finds out about his friends. It's already too late for him to distance himself from them.

Okay so, i was worried that jason & sophie were headed towards a relationship, especially with how belinda acted when humphrey brought up the princess of hurricaines however!! With clive talking to sophie & belinda about not just punching jason when they feel like it, i feel better about either option of there being romance between them or not. I like their current dynamic & if they were to get together itd be wayyyyyy down the line, so im less upset about it (do i ship jason with anyone? Ehhhh idk. I kinda want him to be alone forever?? Day 9: Wishes and Hopes 🌠✨

For his deepest desires, I wanted to focus on his desire to have a family. It is only mentioned once in A Storm of Swords when Jon thinks about a chance that he could marry Val and have a son too. This is after Stannis offers him Winterfell. We know Jon refuses the offer in the end. I am yet to read A Dance With Dragons. So far this is the only instance I have seen Jon's desire for Winterfell. He mentioned that a son is not something dared dream about ever since he decided to live on the Wall. This made me wonder if he ever thought about a future where he is married and has children before coming to the Wall.

Jon Snow was dining in the common room with his friends while Ghost was sleeping underneath the table. The common room was bustling with brothers talking and shouting and some even singing. Toad also started to sing but Halder whacked him on the head with his spoon. They were to leave on the Great Ranging in a moon turn. There were still many preparations to be made.

Jon had been running all over Castle Black, going to Maester Aemon, Donal Noye, Bowen Marsh, and Othell Yarwyck carrying the Lord Commander's orders and messages and attending to the Lord Commander's needs. He hadn't dined with his friends in a long time since they also had other responsibilities.

The conversation had started with Hobb's lamb stew but ended with Lord Commander's son, Jorah Mormont. Pyp had been surprised that the Old Bear had a son because the thought of him having a child never occurred to anyone. "He had caught poachers in the woods and he sold them to slavers" Sam explained, "Did you ever meet him?" Sam asked turning to Jon.

"He had come to visit Winterfell with his Lady Wife, Lady Lynesse" Jon tried to remember Jorah Mormont but all he could remember was Lady Lynesse's scornful expression when she looked at Jon.

"How could someone like the Old Bear end up with a slaver for a son?" Pyp exclaimed.

"He wanted to replicate the luxuries of Oldtown" Jon said, everyone in the North knew this story, maybe everyone in Oldtown too since Lady Lynesse was Hightower by birth. He and his siblings had heard the story from Jory "He had been knighted after he showed courage during the Greyjoy rebellion for being one of the few men to breach through the siege of Pyke"

He looked at his friends and they were listening "He received the Knighthood from King Robert personally."

"After that, there was a tourney at Lannisport," Sansa had asked Jory to repeat this part many times since she found it so romantic "To celebrate victory over the Greyjoy rebels, there he saw the Lady Lynesse Hightower and he fell in love with her instantly" Arya had called him an idiot for that.

Pyp laughed "There you have it folks, the man was har-" Grenn and Sam shushed him and told Jon to continue.

"He asked for her favour and she agreed, after that, he defeated all the challengers and tied with the Kingslayer but the King named Jorah Mormont the victor"

"And Jorah named Lynesse Hightower his Queen of Love and Beauty, the same night he asked her father for her hand and he surprisingly agreed, they married in Lannisport and returned to Bear Island together"

"That was fast" Pyp said

"But why did he sell to slavers?" Grenn asked

"Lynesse Hightower was raised a wealthy Hightower, she was unprepared for the harsh and isolated Bear Island, and she grew miserable there, Mormont spent more money than he had and had driven himself to ruin by buying her expensive gifts, hiring a cook from Oldtown and a singer from Lannisport, he also had a ship built for his wife"

"He was unable to pay his debts so he sold poachers to Tyroshi slavers. When my father.." his throat swelled up at the thought of his father he remembered him and Robb sitting in his solar as Father told them about this, he could still smell the burning candles and wood of the furniture and the parchments all across the desk. Sam put a hand on Jon's shoulder, "Jon?" his friend asked, he looked up and saw his friends looking at him with concern.

"When my father heard of it, we rode to Bear Island to bring him to justice but he had fled by then,"

"We?" Grenn asked

"Robb and I were with him, it was going to be our first beheading" Jon answered

"First beheading?" Pyp looked horrified "You were what? Ten?" Grenn and Sam looked horrified as well.

"We weren't going to behead him ourselves" Jon explained smiling "We were just going to watch"

"It's still queer" Pyp said "You and your Lord's lesson."

"I feel sorry for Lord Mormont" Grenn said "I don't know how I would feel if my son was a slaver"

"You will have to lay with a woman to have a son" Pyp laughed "But even a horse won't lay with you"

"More horses would lay with me than you!" Grenn exclaimed without thinking, which caused everyone to laugh and Grenn turned red as a beetroot.

Afterwards, no one could finish their food without bursting into fits of laughter. When they would stop someone would crack and the others would follow. When Jon cracked for the 4th time, Grenn said "I wasn't thinking! Let it go!"

Dinner was over and Jon went to the Lord Commander's solar to see if he had any need of him before dinner. But there was no need for him so the Lord Commander dismissed him.

Jon went to his chambers and got ready for bed. Ghost came and jumped on the bed with Jon. He could not sleep. He kept thinking about what Grenn had said: I don't know how I would feel if my son was a slaver. Grenn was clumsy but not dumb he knew he could not have a son. None of them can have any children or even a wife. This was a hypothetical situation.

What would I do if my son was a slaver? Jon wondered, What would I do if I had children?

Rickon was the last baby he saw. He was such a small thing with lungs so strong, his cries could be heard even in the crypts of Winterfell. It was no surprise how wild he grew up to be. When Rickon was born Jon, for the first time, had wondered what a family of his own would be like. Back then he was young and a green boy still, and he still believed that somehow he would find a place at Winterfell or even in the North as Robb's bannerman.

He thought that he would do some great deed, and his father would make him a Stark and give him a holdfast to rule in Robb's name and he would serve his brother loyally. He imagined that he would marry someone and have children of his own. A family where he would belong despite his bastardy. A place to feel at home without judgement and stares.

He used to imagine a courtyard like Winterfell's full of boys and girls running around laughing and playing. He felt sad thinking about it, he knew it would never be true anymore, but he also knew he was not a green boy anymore. He was a man of the Night's Watch now. He had sworn himself to take no wife and father no children. Whatever summer dreams he'd had before did not matter anymore.

He decided to himself that he would never think about it anymore. He was going Beyond The Wall and thinking such thoughts were of no use there. Whatever dreams and desires and hope he had were now a thing of the past.

Liveblog: Wakfu Season 1 (episodes 13-18)

Episode 13 - Calm Blue Sea

It might be hard to believe now, but when I first watched the show, my favorite character was Nox.

I don't think about him often anymore, but I still really like him. This episode is one of the first ones where we get glimpses at his backstory, which is fun.

(Geez, I'm predictable for liking characters who are over a hundred years old and care a lot about their families...)

Another reason this episode is big is Soft Oak's death. 1. He's a lore character, I suppose, and 2. I like to headcanon that this is the reason Joris went to Sadida Kingdom.

It's just a silly little headcanon but to elaborate (and sadly, go a bit forward in terms of episodes):

Soft Oak was the friend of the tree of life.

2. Nox seems to have been a bigger issue for the world than shown in the series, considering the fact that Yugo says he's ravaged countries/other reasons.

Bonta and Sadida Kingdom seem to be on good terms — so it would be reasonable to assume that if Nox began going after great tree entities of the world, it would pose a threat to Sadida Kingdom. This opens the possibility that Joris was sent there for this reason, at the time of episode 13 or later.

The timing would also be appropriate — Joris arrives in Sadida Kingdom just a bit before the Brotherhood of Tofu. Though we do not know the route he took.

Chopsticks spotted...! At this point, I'm beginning to believe they're just very common in this world, and as widely used as forks and spoons.

Episode 14 - Moon Island

I really like knowing all the various superstitions in this world because, y'know, Ecaflips love those doubly.

Even though I have issues with how his arc of descent into batshit insanity and subsequent redemption were handled, I do want to say that I have always thought that this + Grougal's death was when the darkness began to grow within him.

Episode 17 - Grougaloragran the Eternal

No commentary. This is a legendary episode.

Episode 18 - The Brotherhood of the Tofu

Please don't throw rocks at me, but I'm not the biggest fan of how Pinpin and Eva's relationship was handled. They're cute together, but the decision to give them drama the second their relationship became canon was a bit... jarring, on the first viewing.

Considering how high-speed the Sonic cast is, I think the rollercoasters have their attention most, haha. At least, I doubt any of them are afraid of high speeds, twists and turns, sudden drops, etcetera! I can see Cream and Charmy have fun in the playgrounds for the smaller children as well, and everyone also gets dragged into the haunted/cursed house. Lmao, I can imagine Espio is the one who can quite accurately predict when scary things will occur and by what mechanism (Vector can too but he doesn't want to ruin it for the children, also because I can imagine he likes it when Charmy gets spooked lol), so anyone who is frightened just needs to go to him to get their nerves calmed. But what kinda attraction Silver would like, I can't really say. I doubt he'll be too impressed by all the high-speed attractions or the ones where there's a lot of movement, like the wild water course or the swinging ship. But for him, perhaps the vibes and the colours of everything is more important? I think he'll have a lot of fun if he can spend that time with his friends!

I’m in Portland rn visiting my brother. His son is so adorable and lively. Last time I saw him he was a grouch but apparently it was cause he was sick.

I’m recovering from Saturday. I went to Rattleship, it was a rave on a fricken battle cruiser lol. Amy was there and apparently Jwang was supposed to be there too but I guess we’ll never know. I didn’t even get a chance to look cause I ended up blacking out. I was feeling myself cause the Rocketship company event and Tiffany’s birthday I had a pretty good time drinking so I thought okay it’s a long event I’ll drink first and drop later. But yeah ended up too hot don’t remember much AND I lost my favorite tank :(

Saw Bchow from Davis and Curtis from Davis also. And met up with Amy for a bit. And Francois mostly took care of me. I remember low key making some friends in line and then seeing them in the ship. The boy was kinda cute haha.

How was AX? Weren’t you supposed to stream the other day? I’ve stopped checking your twitter and you streams. But I still see your name pop up on the side. Yknow it’s kinda funny, before you I used to say I was a pretty big Soju fan but I never went on twitch. I was just a YouTube frog. And now I have all the streamers to watch and they’re up all the time as background noise. Which made me think, what made you want to get into streaming? Was there someone you really liked? End of Dragons

Song: Dehumanized by Disturbed. 

The Vommander must have felt awful to be forced to kill such a gentle soul, like Suu-Won. Taimi and everyone wished the void could have rather been sucked out of Suu-Won, but that was not an option. This fight must have left scars to all of them, but what could have been going in the Vommander’s mind who fought everyone and everything even slightly related to the Elder Dragons. Seeing so many people die in front of his eyes. People he didn’t know, people that were important to him, people that were close to people that were important to him...

Prologue: Convergence. Aurene called the Vommander back to the Eye of the North, and told him that there was a day that was gonna possess a great event, but what would happen after that, she could not see. Taimi expresses her concern about an old ‘friend’ Gorrik was supposed to meet at Lorna’s Pass, in a very weird manner, and asks the Vommander to go and make sure Gorrik was not in trouble. 

Song: Wish I Had An Angel by Nightwish. 

Taimi couldn’t hold back her jealousy over Gorrik, since Gorrik talked so highly of this mysterious ‘Ankka’ who apparently was his partner while they were still at the Inquest’s infamous old laboratory in Metrica Province. Taimi also did detect annoyance from the Vommander’s facial expression, whenever Taimi couldn’t hold back her anger. Vommander seemed better at controlling his feelings, though. 

Chapter 1: Old Friends. The Vommander went after Gorrik and soon met this Ankka person, who then was revealed to be one of the Aetherblades. They kidnap Gorrik and the Vommander with Aurene’s help goes after them. There again with Aurene’s help, the Vommander jumps from an airship to another looking for Gorrik, and delt with the attacking and defending Aetherblades, while Aurene destroyed few of their ships. Soon, they entered a huge portal into the Mists where the battle continues, Taimi’s com can’t quite reach and they then come out of the Mists. Taimi’s com still can’t reach, so they are farther away from Eye of the North than Elona.  And Ankka shoots Aurene with an Extractor, hitting the ship the Vommander was on, which soon crash landed. The Vommander wakes in the prison and soon meet a guy with a big hat. He then let’s Gorrik and Vivs free saying that their friends were there to vough for them. Kas and Jory. They find out they are in Cantha. 

Song: Made of Lies by Elysion. 

Taimi could not lie to herself anymore; she have had feeling for Gorrik as well as the Vommander. Which one? They both had they good and bad sides. If one of them died, the decision would be easy. Of course Taimi did not hope either of them to die. If Taimi had to describe them both with a one word, Vivs would be hot, Gorrik would be cute. No wait... This was not the time to worry about this. Are the two ok? They are? Phew! Okay. NOW Taimi can start to worrying about that. And of course look more closely into this ‘Jade tech’...  That other decision can wait... 

Chapter 2: Outreach. The Vommander first trained on the training grounds and then went to check on Aurene. After that he went to see the Empress Ihn to seek for her approval of continuing going after the Aetherblades. There he witnessed some disagreement with Joon and the Minister Li. 

Song: No Rain, No Rainbow by BABYMETAL. 

While acting normal as she could, Taimi was thinking on going with Gorrik, instead of the Vommander. She still had feelings for him too... 

Chapter 3: Your Kind of People. The Vommander goes to look for more information of the Aetherblades to the shipwreck, and finds a lot of old logs of Ankka and others all around the area. After that they corner one of the Aetherblades and blackmail some information out of him. Though they didn’t get much. Then Taimi called the Vommander to come back to the cave where Aurene was resting, so he did. There he found Aurene and Caithe just standing still, not responding at all to any callouts, but then when the Vommander got closer to them, he was transphered into some kind of watery area where he heard Aurene talking to another voice. It was Aurene’s great grandmother, the mother to all Elder Dragons. She told Aurene that she hoped Aurene to take her place as the only Elder Dragon in the world, like she once was. 

Song: We All Fall Down by Aerosmith. 

When the Vommander was leaving the cave again, he gave Taimi a sad smile, and said not to worry. Wait, what did that mean? ... Did he know somehow..? Not possible! Or was Taimi’s face so easy to read?? 

Chapter 4: Can’t Trust a Pirate. The Vommander went to where Gorrik and Jory were in another cave where they found some weird signals and were sure it was worth to check out. They found the Aetherblade secret hideout, and there they found Mai Trin. Kasmeer and Joon arrive there as well, and soon the Vommander and others fight Mai Trin, who is channeling Scarlet Briar’s powers! We beat her, and take her with us to help with finding Ankka. But first the Vommander has to go to get a permit to travel to the New Kaineng City. 

Song: Kill With Power by Arch Enemy. 

Taimi was trying to kill off her feelings for the Vommander... while still listening to their conversations and all. 

Chapter 5: The Scenic Route. Once the Vommander had the official permission to go to the New Kaineng City, and once there, they were attacked by local Jade tech, that went haywire. While fighting them off they met Yao, local technician who told them that the energy of the city has had some weird disturbances lately. 

Song: Moving Up by Wovenwar. 

Taimi kept thinking about killing off her feelings. Supposedly it ca only happen with time. And that smile... it was like he knew that Taimi could not just stop have feelings for him too. Or did Taimi not want to let go of... THAT... 

Chapter 6: The Future In Jade. While investigating the jade tech, after Taimi secured the com network from outsiders, Mai told the Vommander’s group that Ankka most likely was not behind the jadetech malfunctions, and right after some time, Taimi after analyzing the jade tech powers told us that the power was actually dragon magic. Entering the Nahpui lab, by getting a Imperial Scurity Badge from Mai Trin’s messy apartment, even in a black out, since the malfunctions kept going, Taimi continued her studies about the dragon magic suspecting, that it was corrupted and that caused all the malfunctions. But this was not true. The magic was completely pure. Then the Aetherblades attacked, but Ankka wasn’t with them. After that the Vommander’s group asked Joon about the dragon magic, but then Aurene butted in in the conversation and told them that Suu-Won worked WITH Joon to make the jade tech work. Joon asked to meet with the group face to face. 

Song: Big Ben (The Happy Hard-On Remix) by Acting Lovers

Perhaps Taimi should go with the Vommander..? He wasn’t stupid, just his mind was very much in stress and distracted by arousal constantly. It was actually quite impressive how he could focus as much he has in that kind of sexual pressure. Or was Taimi getting too into his charm again..? 

Chapter 7: Deepest Secrets. The Vommander and others were invited deeper in the lab, so that Joon could show us that Soo-Won was actually in captive by her own will. And soon the Vommander was pulled inside her mind again, where she explained a lot to him to make sure that Vommander understands the situation. But then his interraction with Soo-Won was cut short when Ankka was meddling with her and released the dragon magic she had gathered in the same device she had used on Aurene, on Soo-Won. The dragon escaped and Ankka had shut down and locked everybody out of the lab’s computer system. Mai-Trin tried to stop the lab from exploding, but died by Ankka’s gun, when she shot her twice, the last shot finally killing her. The group got out after first fighting off the Aetherblades, and then the undead that Ankka had risen with the magic of Zhaitan…

Song: Ultimata by ERRA. 

Taimi once got over the pleasures of flesh realized that she should focus more on the real feels. Did that Vommander think that Taimi might be leaning more to Gorrik in that area. Taimi felt a bit like a jerk. Perhaps the Vommander was using her as an excuse to keep on going, but here Taimi was showing interest in Gorrik. But surely the Vommander realizes that Taimi would always be greatful, what he and everybody else had done for her. But she had to be true to herself. Did Taimi really love the Vommander, or was that just lust? No. The thought of life without him felt awful. She would miss his voice and face. Just like she would miss Gorrik’s voice and smile... 

Chapter 8: Fallout. The group spread so they could avoid of getting arrested and be accused of what Ankka did. Navan suggested to meet with the Vommander and told him that the the Empress wasn’t at least against the Vommander’s group, and that Navan and the Vommander should meet up in a restaurant. They did, and Rama tagged along. Right after ordering some sushi, Captain Fa appeared and demanded the Vommander to come with him, but the Vommander smooth talked himself more time. Navan again suggested that the Vommander and others should go hide in the Echovald Forest, and so they did. They went in an old Kurzik house that had been attacked by the Ministry of Purity long time ago, but has been taken over by new people. But when they arrived, they saw weird shadowy creatures and corruptions all over the area, which somehow defied the laws of reality. There were also a lot of dead people. And then... Navan revealed herself to be the Champion of Soo-Won, Kuunavang the Dragon. Locals also offered to help to find Ankka. 

Song: Chaos Lives In Everything (feat. Skrillex)by KoRn. 

Taimi was already thinking about the matter too much while she was working with Joon. If Taimi chose to go with Gorrik... what if the Vommander’s ‘other me’ got lose? Would he come after her and do something bad? Why did that fascinate Taimi so much? She has seen glimpses of that evil at times and it was pure insanity. It made the Vommander seem scary. So, would Taimi be able to control that side of him? Taimi, the Queen, in complete control of both Vommanders. Hehehe Fun idea, but very risky. 

Chapter 9: To Catch a Spider. To suck out the Void’s corruption out of Soo-Won, the Vommander’s group needed the device she used to suck out Aurene’s magic and corrupt Soo-Won with, so they went after her to get the device and maybe check if she was more cooperative this time? Locals helped the Vommander to get leads and this resulted in checking what would have Ankka wanted with local meanies. She needed their tech to build a new Mists portal device, but soon dropped that when she found out about another working and pretty Aetherblade ship, that had just arrived in the area. It of course did have a working Mists portal device as well. When the Vommander found it, he learned it was Sayida’s airship and that she was making it to be a social club/gourmet restaurant with Canach, who then agreed to help the Vommander to lure Ankka out by making it act as a bate in a location where there were no innocent bystanders.

All this time, while working with Joon, Taimi has been wondering about the Gorrik or the Vommander situation. How many times have the Vommander and Taimi done it now? It was clear he needed to keep himself in control. Or more like keep the evil side satisfied enough not trying to get out to satisfy himself. Though, Taimi was sure Vivs did enjoy just doing it for fun as well. At least his face showed it while it was on. Did he say that they seemed very compatible? 

Chapter 10: The Vommander and others got Aetherblades after them not too long after they started to operation. With the help of locals that hid themselves around to snipe down Aetherblades, they didn’t have a chance of stealing it. The Vommander and others had one of the Aetherblade’s cornered, but then Ankka turned all the dead into the risen, and the cornered Aetherblade got killed in that mess. Gorrik located Ankka’s Extractor, and there she was. The Vommander’s group went after her, but she gave them a heavy resistance and blamed them for causing all the corrupted chaos and told them to just accept the destruction of the world. Ankka was defeated after a while fighting. Gorrik began to analyze the Extractor, and soon realized that Ankka had sabotaged it, so it exploded. Gladly everyone was ok, but they couldn’t use the Extractor to help Soo-Won now. At least they could, hopefully, prove their innocence of the lab’s ‘accident’. 

Song: Dead Ocean by The Agonist. 

Taimi really needed to focus on the current problem. Relationships had to wait. The oceans were getting corrupted... Gorrik AND the Vommander were fighting out there. Somehwere. Maybe? Hopefully doing fine... 

Chapter 11: In the Name of the Law. While getting o prove his innocence, the Vommander first had to help the precint employee by clearing the the Kaineng city of the risen. After that Minister Li was available and the Vommander got to prove is innocence. Li then offered to help them to get to Joon’s mansion, but soon after they reached the roof, he attacked them. And the Vommander and Rama took care of him, with the help of Min. 

Song: Candle Lawns by Sonata Arctica. 

Taimi remembered the time the Vommander told her he wished he knew what he was thinking, before leaving behind. Vommander never got to know Blish like Taimi knew him. He could only imagine how Taimi and Gorrik felt like after hearing the news. 

Chapter 12: Weight of the World. As soon as the Vommander entered the Seitung Province, he was pulled into the Soo-Won’s mind again. She was in pain and resisting the Void (corruption) demanding that we had to kill her and Caithe as well as the Vommander had to fight the Void creatures in her mind. Once outta there the Vommander hurried to meet with Joon. Kasmeer was there too and Taimi let them in Joon’s mansion. Against Joon’s wishes. She still blamed the Vommander for what happened in that lab or reactor and tried to stop the Vommander from reaching her wrk room. Her mansion was filled with jade tech. Changing walls and floors and stairs. With the help Yao’s Jade Bot, the Vommander and Taimi finally reached her. She still tried to resist, but the two asura got through to her. And nwo finally they could start to discuss what to do about Soo-Won. 

Song: All Hail Shadow by Crush 40. 

Taimi witnessed again the Vommander’s ability to use his mind to get to the goal. He seemed very determined to solve this Void problem. He didn’t give Taimi any extra looks either... Did that Ankka fight somehow affect him? 

Chapter 13: Extraction Point. Joon and Taimi began to work on new Extractors and the Vommander gathered with everyone at the Arborstone in Echovald Forest. A lot of people were willing to fight this Void. They headed to the Jade Sea where the Void corruption had already gotten pretty bad. To let the Extractors to be settled down safely, the Vommander and few others made way for them to be able to be landed on their places. Once that was done, they aimed to go to the Harvest Temple to lure Soo-Won there. 

Song: Blood That I Bleed by Thunderstone. 

Even if the Vommander was focusing on the mission, like Taimi and surely everybody else, Taimi couldn’t help but be worried. Did he still suffer from depression? The ones suffering from that can easily hide it in their mind and act as if nothing was wrong. 

Chapter 14: The Only One. Soo-Won arrived at the Harvest Temple and the Extractors were used to pull out the corruption of her, but once it was out, it formed into it’s own being and also created an army of himself. The appearance of it caused the Extractors to get off line and unfunctional, so while Taimi and Joon were trying to get the main Extractor t work, the Vommander and Kuunavang were trying protect them from the Void. The Void was too strong got the Vomamnder nearly killed, but Aurene pulled him in her mind this time and then lend the Vommander some pf her powers returning him then back to fight. Now with Aurene’s powers the Commander defeated the corrupted magical beings with more ease. He then proceed to help his friends to fight each of the elder dragon’s corruptions, finally then fighting with the DragonVoid itself. Victory. Then at the end Soo-Won said everybody good bye while they sadly looked her fade away while Aurene absorbed her last drops of magic.

The Vommander as well as everybody else were eager to end the DragonVoid battle. Was it just Taimi, or did the Vommander actually almost give up there? Hopefully he wasn’t that dumb that he has given up, because he thinks that Taimi was going to go with Gorrik? At least Aurene brought him back by apparently giving the Vommander some of her powers. He did seem a bit more determined to fight again, at least. 

Chapter 15: The Cycle, Reborn. Everybody gathered in the Arborstone to deal with the celebration as well as mourning and remembering everyone who had given their lives for this moment. Then after two weeks everyone got an invitation to the Dead End Bar to hear Kasmeer and Marjory propose each other. They were now engaged.

To Taimi the Vommander still looked sad and troubled. Was he thinking about the people he lost? Taimi still wasn’t sure which one of the guys she would like to share her life with. 

Chapter 16: What Lies Beneath. The Vommander is invited to a party at a restaurant by Rama, but hardly anyone makes it. Only Rama, the Vommander and Gorrik get there. Taimi gives them a call, andtell them about something strange happening in the jade mines. The group goes there to investigate. While there they hear a scream and then find Yao being attacked by his haywire mech again. After calming down the mech the group proceeded to question the miners about the happenings, but none of them made much sense. Then Chul-Moo yelled and told the group that one silent quiet worker just attacked him. And tried to attack him again, but he Vomamnder and Yao took care of him. They eneter the mine and then start investigating by scanning the jades down there. The Vommander gets strange sounds from the communicator. Deeper they went, more they faced with demonic entities. And soon they were fighting a demon that somehow attacked teh Vommander mentally as well. They had to retreat.

After Taimi heard what happened and saw the Vommander, he looked exhausted, yet somehow happy... and gave Taimi a really long look. Was he... turned on more than usual? He did stare at Gorrik as well. And Yao... 

Chapter 17: Deep Research. Gorrik kept a log about his resuöts of the research of the happneings. The demon apparently attacked emotional weaknesses. It made the victim relive their worst fears. 

Song: 8th Commandment by Sonata Arctica. 

Now the Vommander looked ticked off while looking at Taimi... But he just won’t talk much about anything. If Taimi asked what was wrong, he replied ‘just thinking about the late happenings’, but why giving Taimi that look? How did that relate to anything that just had happened? 

Chapter 18: What Lies Within. The Vommander met with Gorrik, Taimi and Yao. They him their plan of using him as a bait to the demon. The Vommander had to revisit the areas that brought front his most terrible memories, to charge this Recollector with emotional resonance. It was going to help us lure the demon out and deal with it. With Rama’s incantation, that he just learned for this occasion. Everybody had to face their worst inner demons during this fight, but it helped them also to get closer to closure. When they finally got it out of the safety of the leyline, they dealt with it. After that they had a party again, and this time it was a success. Min appeared there just like Rama hoped for. Taimi was there with Gorrik, and Vivs was there with Yao. Gorrik and Taimi gave the Vommander mean or concerned looks whenever he flirted with Yao, but Vivs just loved to tease them. And them. 

Song: All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You by Halestorm. 

Taimi witnessing all the emotional struggles the Vommander was experiencing made Taimi realize how much of regrets and guilt he kept in. And experiencing herself her own emotional struggles made Taimi realize something, she wanted them both. Taimi tried to tell this to them both, but she wasn’t sure if they actually quite got it. But well, at least they seemed to understand that they and Taimi should be THE asura group of this guild. Not that the Vommander was replacing Blish, but he did bring his own charm into the krewe. The Vommander, though, wanted to keep his relationship with Taimi and Gorrik as a secret in case there were still enemies out there that were looking for a revenge or something. So, the Vommander wanted to teach Gorrik few sensitive areas about that... loving event. And guess who was the tool in that lesson... 

Phew! Finally done! Now I can go to sleep! I would reread it and fix some misspellings or errors in the story, but I’m too sleepy... Good night peoples! X3
