Stay Warm and Add Style to Your Home with Electric Media Wall Fires
Tumblr media
Looking to stay cozy and enhance the style of your home? Look no further than electric media wall fires. These innovative and sleek fireplaces can provide both warmth and aesthetic appeal to any room. With their easy installation and versatile design options, electric media wall fires offer a convenient and attractive alternative to traditional fireplaces.
The Benefits of Electric Media Wall Fires
Electric media wall fires offer several advantages over traditional fireplaces. First and foremost, they are extremely efficient and cost-effective. Unlike wood or gas fireplaces, electric media wall fires use electricity to generate heat. This eliminates the need for expensive fuel and reduces the environmental impact. Additionally, electric fires can be turned on and off with the flick of a switch, allowing you to easily control the temperature in your home.
Another benefit of electric media wall fires is their versatility. They come in a wide variety of sizes and styles, making it easy to find one that matches your home decor. Whether you prefer a modern look with sleek black glass or a more traditional feel with rustic wood, there is an electric media wall fire to suit every taste.
Furthermore, electric media wall fires are incredibly easy to install. Unlike traditional fireplaces that require a chimney, these electric versions can be mounted on any wall. This means you can place them in any room of your home, whether it's the living room, bedroom, or even the bathroom. The flexibility of installation makes electric media wall fires a practical option for any space.
How Electric Media Wall Fires Work
Electric media wall fires work by using electricity to generate heat and simulate the appearance of a real fire. Behind the sleek glass or wood exterior, there are small heating elements that warm up and radiate heat into the room. These heating elements are powered by electricity and can be adjusted to your desired temperature.
To create the illusion of flames, electric media wall fires use LED lights and mirrors. These lights are positioned to reflect off the mirrors, creating a realistic flickering effect that mimics the look of a traditional fireplace. Some models even offer adjustable flame settings, allowing you to customize the intensity and color of the flames to match your mood.
In addition to the heating and flame effects, electric media wall fires often come with built-in media features. These can include speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and even television screens. This means you can not only enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a fire but also watch your favorite shows or listen to music while relaxing in your living room.
Choosing the Right Size and Style for Your Home
When selecting an electric media wall fire, it's important to consider the size and style that will best suit your home. The size of the fireplace should be proportional to the room it will be installed in. A small fireplace may get lost in a large living room, while a large fireplace could overwhelm a small bedroom. Measure the dimensions of the space carefully and choose a fireplace that will complement the room without overpowering it.
In terms of style, there are endless options to choose from. If you have a modern home with sleek lines and minimalist decor, a contemporary electric media wall fire with a black glass finish might be the perfect choice. On the other hand, if you have a more traditional home with warm colors and rustic furniture, a fireplace with a wooden mantel and realistic log bed might be more suitable.
It's also worth considering the features that are important to you. Some electric media wall fires come with additional features such as remote controls, timers, or even built-in storage shelves. Think about how you plan to use the fireplace and what features would enhance your overall experience.
Installation and Maintenance of Electric Media Wall Fires
One of the major advantages of electric media wall fires is their ease of installation. Unlike traditional fireplaces, which require professional installation and a chimney, electric media wall fires can typically be mounted on any wall with minimal effort. The process usually involves attaching a bracket to the wall and then hanging the fireplace on the bracket. However, it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to ensure a safe and secure installation.
In terms of maintenance, electric media wall fires are relatively low maintenance compared to traditional fireplaces. Since they don't burn wood or gas, there is no ash or soot to clean up. However, it's still important to keep the fireplace clean and free of dust. Regularly dust off the exterior and wipe the glass or wood surface with a soft cloth to maintain its appearance.
Additionally, it's important to check the electrical components of the fireplace periodically to ensure everything is in working order. If you notice any frayed wires or loose connections, it's best to have a professional electrician inspect and repair the fireplace to prevent any potential hazards.
Safety Considerations for Electric Media Wall Fires
While electric media wall fires are generally safe, it's important to follow some safety precautions to ensure their safe operation. First and foremost, always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation and use. This will help you understand any specific safety guidelines or recommendations for your particular fireplace model.
When installing the fireplace, make sure it is securely mounted to the wall according to the manufacturer's instructions. This will prevent any accidental tipping or falling of the fireplace, which could cause damage or injury.
Additionally, never leave the fireplace unattended while it is running. It's important to turn off the fireplace when you leave the room or go to bed to avoid any potential accidents.
Finally, keep flammable materials away from the fireplace. While electric media wall fires don't produce real flames, they still generate heat. It's important to keep curtains, furniture, and other flammable items a safe distance away from the fireplace to prevent any fire hazards.
Enhancing Your Home Decor with Electric Media Wall Fires
Electric media wall fires not only provide warmth but also add a stylish touch to your home decor. With their wide range of styles and finishes, electric media wall fires can complement any interior design theme.
If you have a modern home with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, a sleek black or white glass fireplace can create a striking focal point in your living room. Pair it with contemporary furniture and bold artwork to create a cohesive and stylish look.
For those with a more traditional home, a fireplace with a wooden mantel and realistic log bed can add a cozy and rustic touch. Pair it with warm colors, plush furniture, and vintage accessories for a traditional and inviting atmosphere.
To further enhance the ambiance, consider adding some decorative elements around the fireplace. Hang a mirror above the fireplace to create the illusion of a larger space and reflect the flickering flames. Place a few candles or decorative objects on the mantel to add visual interest and create a cozy atmosphere.

Etsy Store Here l Ko-Fi l Commission Info I Instagram I Zine
A/N: I just felt like it, this is pretty self-indulgent tbh. also please buy my stickers on etsy. Please. I worked so hard and I'm so scared they're going to flop.
* Yo babe, this guy is like your #1 supporter
* Like there’s two ways he meets you. The first is probably like that romantic “it’s fate” type of way, and the second is one of his brothers sets him up with you
* The first one is sort of romantic- you meet him when you’re still young at some book signing or a poetry reading or something
* And he sits next to you, and you start chatting a little about the author and their work
* “You sound like a writer” Jason says, and you blush a little
* “I guess I am” you’re just starting out though
* “What kinda stuff do you write?” He asks
* “The bad kind”
* He laughs at that
* And there’s this sort of romantic mood over the scene, like he just knows you’re going to be special to him
* But then the reading ends, and he’s waiting for it- to give you his number or to you see again but he never does
* You just get up and leave
* He see’s you again years later, at a charity ball Bruce is forcing him to go to “public appearance is important” and “optics need to be good” or something
* And you’re there, one hand on Dick’s arm, and the other around a flute of champagne
* “Oh, (Y/N)- this is my little brother Jason, Jason this is (Y/N)”
* The hand wrapped around Dick’s arm unfurls to hold his own, Jason can’t take his eyes off of yours
* “Nice to meet you”
* And there’s no familiar glint in your eyes, this isn’t some inside joke-
* You really don’t remember him
* “Nice to meet you too,” Jason says giving you a firm squeeze back
* Your hand is soft
* He can picture it, desperately clutching a pen, flying across a page, and scribbling all the ideas in your mind-
* It feels like a writers hand
* “(Y/N)’s an aspiring writer,” Dick says, and Jason flinches.
* So you are still writing
* “I’m not an aspiring writer, I am a writer”
* Jason doesn’t miss the slight bite in your words, despite your expressionless exterior
* “No I mean like a real writer- a published writer”
* “I am a published writer” you sigh, and Jason guesses you’re exasperated
* “Oh really where at?” Dick asks, and Jason almost wants to strangle his brother. Here’s the person of his dreams, and Dick had the stupid dumb luck to date them first- only to say all the wrong things.
* But before you can answer Dick’s eyes light up as they hover over the bar-
* Then out of nowhere, he grabs your champagne flute away from you
* “You’re running low huh?” The flute is mostly full, Jason notices. “I’ll get you another”
* And then he’s gone, leaving just you and Jason
* “I’m going to take a wild stab here, and say you’re not dating my brother”
* You shake your head with a small smile
* “This would be pretty sad if we were,” you say, picking up a champagne flute from a nearby server
* Jason mirrors the motion
* “Dick said he wanted to make an ex jealous, it’s a mutually beneficial situation”
* You motion to the bar, and sure enough Dick’s chatting up a familiar redhead Jason knows all too well
* “What do you get out of this?” The question is punctuated with a sip of champagne and your lips quirk into a small smile
* “I’ve never been to an event like this,” your eyes sweep the room- marble columns and men with shiny cuff links and tuxedos and women in polished gowns
* It’s like something out of a tv show
* “I thought it might be good for my writing” you shrug, your editor is always saying that you need more romantic elements in your work
* “Well you don’t need Dick for that,” Jason takes a sip of his champagne “I’m right here”
* You grin, and Jason has to pinch himself to snap out of the way you dazzle him
* “What a gentleman,” you say, still smiling, though it’s dimmed
* “Anything to support the arts”
* Elsewhere at the bar-
* “Do you think they’re hitting it off?” Barbara asks, and Dick grins
* “Of course they are, they’re a writer- Jason loves to read, it’s a match made in heaven”
* Barbara rolls her eyes, but she’ll admit, you guys look good together
* Things move fast after that, the way they always seem to when people are happy
* First dates at the pier
* Second dates watching bad movies and smuggling wine into a movie theatre
* Third dates where you do nothing but kiss
* Bookstore trips, late nights where you do nothing but dream
* Jason knows you’re getting close when you open up to him about your art
* “I’ve had this idea in my head for months now but it just won’t come out”
* And you’re taking such a huge chance talking about this- how many times have you been told to quit while you’re ahead, or ridiculed, treated as an annoyance, or even laughed at for opening up about your work.
* So the pure joy Jason shows when you speak to him about it makes your heart skip
* “Tell me about it, what kind of a story is it?”
* And this is such a vulnerable moment for both of you- but Jason makes it seem like it’s the most normal thing in the world, like this is how it should have been with everyone before
* And honestly it’s healing
* This dork will buy any magazine or journal you’re printed in and ask you to sign it
* If it’s web-only, he’ll print out your story on high-quality paper and ask you to sign that
* “You know you didn’t have to buy one, I have like 12 contributor copies,” you say hiding your smile as you indulge him by signing the cover
* “I just happened to see it-”
* He didn’t just ‘happen to see it’ he preordered this copy a month ago
* “Besides I like supporting your work”
* And no ones ever loved you like this, so you hide your smile behind your hand
* “Anything to support the art right?”
* “Exactly,” he says with a grin
* If you write a book and add his name to the dedications/acknowledgments he’ll straight-up start crying
* “Jason-“
* You’re a little concerned, you didn’t even write anything mushy just ‘For Jason, my number one supporter’
* When he finally shows his face from behind his hand he’s smiling so wide with the brightest blush on his face
* “This is my favorite book,” he says hugging the copy to his chest
* And you just smile
* He buys two books, one to make notes in and the other to keep in a shadow box
* Speaking of books-
* If you guys live together you have a lot
* Like seriously almost TOO many
* Have you guys seen that tik tok of the girl whose parents are professors and they have a whole house just COVERED in books- like even the bathroom
* Yeah
* That’s your house!!
* Well, probably apartment, but yeah
* You have a “guest bedroom”
* But really it’s a library with a bed in the middle
* Your living room has every wall covered in bookshelves and one small empty spot so he could mount the television
* It makes perfect sense- one bookshelf Is yours, one is for reference material, one is to keep all the stuff you get published, one bookshelf is for Jason, another is for shared classics, another is books you guys share with signed books in it, another is just a display case really
* And so on
* “Do you ever think we have too many books?” You ask Jason one night over cups of chamomile tea
* He looks up from the book in his lap, reading glasses slipping down
* “I think we’re the only people who have the correct amount of books”
* You grin
* “Yeah I think so too”
* He would totally show up to all your readings and book signings
* Your manager/agent might start to get worried
* “You don’t think he’s a stalker do you?”
* “Nah that’s just my boyfriend” you say with a smile, blowing a kiss in his direction
* Just- supportive Jason who loves that you were born to tell stories

Tumblr media
summary: There is a saying, that an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break.
The one and only things guizhong remembered as she took her final breath were him and her love for him. Transcending across time, her love took the form of the legendary red string of fate — one meant to bring together a former Archon in human disguise and a young woman determined to unravel the truth behind reports of missing people, especially about her twin. — | m.list

chapter 01: the wangsheng funeral parlor

the pen went thud, thud, thud against the counter.
reeling in the urge to ask the strange woman behind it to stop, she tried not to let the repetitive taps get to her.
she watched the woman sift through her resume, bored. it had been coming to—
her eyes flickered to the time on her wristwatch.
—fifteen minutes since she submitted her documents to her.
a long, silent sigh left her as her eyes roamed the parlor for the sixth time.
this parlor was full of contradictions — a mix of the current and the ancient.
there was a LED television screen nailed to the badly painted wall behind the woman and in a corner of the counter, a corded phone was plugged to a worn-out power socket which looked like it was haphazardly installed into the wall.
and on the very same wall, framed calligraphies were mounted, or rather, scattered all over it — probably done by the same person who had installed the power socket.
the creaky floor beneath their feet was made of wooden planks; there were some gaps between them due to missing ones, some were jutting out unsightly.
she eyed the jutting one near the door grudgingly, reminding her of how she had nearly tripped over it trying to enter the parlor earlier.
the windows were the same kind from the ones back then; she'd been to the museum frequently, especially to the section that displayed the city with its old name — Liyue Harbor, to know this design was from a time far back in the past
from the way things seemed to be randomly thrown together, everything about the parlor screamed 'bizarre'.
the whole look of the store would make any interior designers cry if they were to ever step into it.
— even its exterior was weird.
the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor stuck out like a sore thumb in a city of skyscrapers — strange and older, no, oldest. its architecture looked like it came from some time way back, past the dynasties probably. it would have fitted in better if it were to be located in the chinatown than the central business district.
her gaze had already explored every crook and cranny the spot she sat in could offer; so many times she could probably memorize them all.
"— heehee!"
a playful giggle drew her eyes to the woman's face, "...you're a strange one, aren't you!"
i'm the strange one? she wanted to say but, "oh, why am i strange?"
it was a funny comment coming from someone who sipped tea directly from the teapot and spent ten minutes introducing herself as the 77th Director, the 78th Director, 79th Director, 80th Director...and only, finally stopped at the 124th Director when she slipped over her resume in hopes of cutting off the woman's rants.
the woman's scarlet eyes sparkled, "because no one wants to work in this parlor, hehehe, i haven't had a job interview with anyone for over forty years!" she beamed as if that was an achievement.
forty years? she ran her eyes over the woman's youthful appearance — she looked like she's 25 at most!
"and it says here that you are a final year student in criminal psychology. ahhh too bad, this is not the place to find dead people." the woman stabbed her finger at her resume, "the last time i had a conversation with one was nearly twenty years ago."
huh?
she blinked once, twice at the woman, her suspicion rising. either she was right or this woman was just eccentric? she'd seen and learnt plenty of that from her psychology modules in her university to recognize such behavior.
maybe she should just go straight to the point, afterall.
Lumine shook her head. "actually, i'm not here for this" she leaned forward, eyes looking dead into the woman's. "I know what you do, Ms. Hu Tao."
the woman blinked at her, the hand playing with one of her pigtails frozen in midair.
she breathed deeply and released a quiet sigh. "the truth is, i'm looking for my brother. there have been reports about missing people and he is one of them."
Hu Tao tilted her head in confusion, "but this is not the police station, y'know?" the woman tossed her pigtail back over her shoulder.
from her bag, Lumine took out a folder and flipped it open,
"yes, i know," she said, sliding it across the counter.
"it's because i know the truth. these disappearances aren't normal." from the folder pockets, news articles were scattered across the counter as she laid them out.
her fingers plucked one out from the pile. "—including his."
Hu Tao gazed down at the picture in the article she pointed at to see Lumine, no, a man staring back at her.
"my brother and i had been able to see things no one could ever since we were little," Lumine narrowed her eyes, "and i know the reason why he's not by my side today has something to do with them."
there was a brief silence before Hu Tao broke it.
"you mean ghosts?" an overexaggerating expression of puzzlement flickered across her face. "unfortunately, this parlor no longer helps people seal their third eye. i know one that does somewhere—"
"you know what i'm talking about." Lumine cut in.
a determined look pinched a frown between her brows as Lumine lowered her gaze. "i've seen you...and some others fighting them...these monsters."
"this is why i'm here. i finally found you." her eyes raised to Hu Tao's once more. "please, i know you know."
she watched Hu Tao's brows rise sharply then fall, her mouth opening then quickly snapping shut.
"you don't have to hide it from me. " Lumine bit down on her lips. "i've searched for you and the others for so long. you guys are my only hope in finding my brother."
her voice dropped to a volume barely over a whisper. "...you are all the only help i could get." it sounded tired. "please, he's the only family i know and have."
even after her desperate plea, Hu Tao remained silent.
the drastic shift in her demeanour was odd; the carefully blanked look sitting on her face now was somewhat ill-fitting for someone who would giggle to herself every few minutes while reading a resume.
the only thing keeping the parlor from falling into complete silence was the old rattling wall fan on the far left of the store.
"i won't be a burden, i promise." a steel-like resolve hardened in Lumine's eyes. "we know, I mean, I know how to fight."
her hands curled into fists. "I'm good with a sword. we grew up needing to learn this skill because of what we can see."
the old fan continued to rattle noisily as silence persisted.
the way Hu Tao's scarlet eyes bore into her was starting to unnerve her. the shape of a flower seemed to be taking form in the scarlet eyes staring back at her — she wasn't sure if it was due to this long staring contest.
finally, Lumine broke away to rub her eyes; the silence and the weird staring was getting to her.
the sound of the chair scraping against the floor snapped her attention back to the parlor's director, only to find her gaze following Hu Tao as she rose from her seat.
"Ms. Hu Tao?" she blinked; questions were evident on her face.
"no, no! it's just Hu Tao!" a cheerful grin stretched the woman's cheeks. "go home, Lumine!"
Lumine shot up from her seat, flustered and alarmed. "but what about—"
"you will be contacted about the status of your job application if you are successful, heehee!"
she could only watch with exasperation as Hu Tao turned her back, skipping away to the back.
"Wangsheng Funeral Parlor thanks you for the interview~!"
Tumblr media
wind and rain continued to beat against the french window beside his desk as lightning flashed across the cloudy night sky outside, lighting up his office momentarily every time it struck the earth.
the ticking grandfather clock apart from the weather was his only company in the silence.
his golden eyes emanated a soft glow in the darkness.
one that the stone dumbbell before him no longer had. it sat like a dull rock against the polished oak surface of his desk; it had been like this for the recent few thousand years.
a wry smile curled his lips.
it was just like him — a dull rock who had managed to withstand the test of time.
"it seems that our journey together has come to an end. as for that stone dumbbell, forget about it, would you?"
words from back then always came back to him when he took it out. in her voice and with those tears on her face.
he could remember it all. so clearly, too clearly as if it was yesterday.
the sky then was different — it was bright yet dark then, sitting undecidedly between day and night when she disappeared in his arms.
it was the only thing she left him, and no, he hadn't been able to unlock it.
he tried. to the point he had to give it up to others to try.
the stone device had been passed through the hands of many — adepti, scholars, historians he met while being a consultant in a funeral parlor, his advisors in his court while he was leading Liyue into a new dynasty a thousand years ago, researchers in his old company three years ago...
but no one had been able to open it.
"but if you can unlock it—"
he closed his eyes, drawing out a long sigh as he remembered how her words was cut off — that was the last time he heard her voice.
that lonely smile of her was something he could never forget.
if i unlock it, what would i find? what did you want to show me, guizhong?
silence sat with him as his fingers curled around the device, lifting it to his eyes.
gears were turning behind them as he began another attempt, but was interrupted by a buzz against his chest.
another sigh left him as he returned the stone back to the wooden box he took out from, delicately slipping it between the cushions customized to its size.
Zhongli pulled out a phone from his suit and his face fell almost immediately at the caller.
he lifted the phone to his ear with another sigh. "what, Hu Tao?"

Club Utopia (Oneshot)
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Pairing: Harrison Osterfield/Reader
Summary: Meeting Harrison during your first visit to a sex club.
Word Count: 2,001
Warnings: Language and smut, my usual go-tos.
A/N: I first posted this for Writers Wednesday on @the-sha-official0hazanon‘s blog! I seriously recommend checking him out. He’s the best Haz anon ever.
There was nothing on the exterior of the building that would indicate it was a sex club, not that you had particularly expected there to be a glowing sign saying ‘SEX CLUB’ on it.
You nervously walked into the lobby and approached the counter.
“Welcome to Club Utopia. I’ll need you to read over these rules for the club and sign a form. I’ll also need your ID,” the girl behind the counter told you. “We accept cash or card for the cover.”
You skimmed the rules that you’d already read on their website before you’d chosen to come, signed the form, handed over your ID, and paid the cover.
“You’re set now. Enjoy!” The girl returned her attention to her phone as you walked toward the entrance to the club itself.
You weren’t sure what you were expecting, but this wasn’t quite it.
The inside of the club was dimly lit with blue lighting, and the only other patrons you could see were two women sitting close together. They looked up at you for a moment and then returned to their conversation.
The televisions mounted to the wall were showing low quality porn, an orgy set at a frat party. Since no one was around yet that piqued your interest, you chose to ignore the porn in favor of paying attention to your phone for the moment.
Hopefully, you hadn’t just wasted your Friday night.
You got distracted on your social media and were quite startled when someone tapped you on the shoulder.
“Hey, is this seat taken, love?” a smooth male British accent asked from beside you.
The accent was an immediate turn-on, not something you encountered often living an entire ocean away from England.
You glanced up at him. The first thing you noticed was his pale blue eyes, striking even in the dim light. Although you couldn’t see him perfectly with the lights as low as they were, he was still definitely the hottest guy who had ever paid attention to you.
At that moment, you decided to go for it. You came to the sex club for a reason, after all.
“It’s not,” you told him with a smile.
“I’m Harrison,” he said.
“Nice to meet you, Harrison. You’re far away from home,” you commented.
“I travel a lot for work,” he explained.
You wanted to ask more about him, but you weren’t sure what was appropriate to ask a sex club patron, eventually blurting out, “so, what brings you here?”
“You mean what brings me to a sex club?” he asked with a chuckle, raising his eyebrows.
“Sorry, I’ve never been to one of these before, and I’m a little nervous,” you said, sheepishly.
“Honestly, I haven’t either,” he confessed. “This isn’t like meeting girls in a pub. I guess I’ll just outright ask. Would you like to go to one of the private rooms with me?”
“I can’t think of anything I’d like more,” you answered, so excited at the prospect of what was about to happen that you almost knocked over your chair as you got up.
He laughed softly to himself at your eagerness.
You followed him across the main floor into one of the private rooms, shutting the door behind you.
The room was small. There was a padded bed with no bedding and a small table containing a bowl with packets of lube and condoms in it, with a wastebasket on the floor next to it. A TV mounted on the wall was showing the same low quality porn from the main floor.
You stood in front of him silently, started to fidget.
“So, uh…” you trailed off awkwardly.
Harrison opened and closed his mouth, looking a bit lost. He leaned down to kiss you, but immediately pulled away. “Shit, one second.”
You were momentarily worried that he’d changed his mind, but you were relieved when you saw he just went to the wastebasket to spit his gum out.
“Sorry about that. I’m usually smoother than this,” he apologized.
“I’m not, if we’re being perfectly honest here,” you admitted.
He chuckled. “Now, where were we?”
“Right about here,” you responded, leaning up to kiss him as he leaned down.
You met his soft and warm lips with your own. The kiss was never really chaste, his tongue quick to dart out and slip between your already parted lips. He tasted slightly cinnamony as he brushed his tongue unhurriedly against yours.
He moaned quietly into your mouth when you stopped being a passive partner, your tongue making its way into his mouth. You traced his perfect teeth, then explored his mouth slowly and thoroughly.
You lost track of time, completely engrossed in the kiss, only returning to awareness when his hands slid down your mostly bare back to squeeze and massage your ass through the thin material of your tight dress. He tugged you completely flush against him.
One of his hands slipped up underneath the hem of your dress, finding its way in-between your thighs from behind.
He broke the kiss, breathing a bit heavily, eyebrows raised. “You’re not wearing panties, darling?”
You grinned. “Where are we right now?”
He smiled back. “Point taken.”
You spread your legs as much as you could in the confines of your dress, to give him more room to work with, but it wasn’t enough for your liking.
“Fuck it,” you mumbled, tugging the offending garment over your head.
He chuckled. “No bra either, I see. Not that I have a problem with that. Less in the way.”
His head dipped to take one of your nipples into his mouth, tongue swirling around it. His fingers now easily found their way between your folds, going for your clit immediately and rubbing slickly around the sensitive nub.
“Oh my god.” Your knees started to buckle, but he fortunately stabilized you with his arm from behind.
“Christ, you’re wet,” he mumbled against the skin of your breast, two long fingers pressing into you while his thumb took over on your clit.
“Talk to me?” you requested breathily.
“Like dirty talk?” he clarified.
“Yeah,” you responded, nodding.
“Love how wet you are for me. Tight, too. Gonna have to loosen you up some first before I can get my cock into you, though.” A third finger pushed in, next to the other two, scissoring slightly as he continued to pump them in and out of you and rub your clit. “Your pussy will feel so fucking amazing around my cock, I can’t wait. I promise I’ll fill you up better than anyone else ever has.”
The combination of what he was doing with his hand and the dirty talk in his delicious accent had you close. “Want to cum, please, Harrison.”
“Well, since you asked me so nicely.” His thumb worked your clit faster, and he fingered you a bit rougher, aiming more directly for your g-spot.
“Fuck, don’t stop,” you moaned as your climax hit you harder than a brick wall, burying your fingers in the fabric of Harrison’s shirt while the sparks of pleasure coursed through you.
As you came down from your high, his motions gentled, until he finally stopped. He let you slump against him bonelessly.
He lifted you like a limp ragdoll and carried you over to the bed, gently depositing you on it, before he stepped back to strip off his own clothes.
“Hey, what if I wanted to undress you?” you complained, watching as he kicked off his shoes and unbuttoned his shirt.
“You’re in no state to do that right now, and I’ve been dressed plenty long enough. I’m in town for another four weeks anyway, if you’re interested in a repeat performance,” he offered.
“We’ll see. You might have a disappointing dick,” you teased.
“I seriously doubt it, but I’ll let you be the judge of that.” He undid his pants and shucked them and his boxers at the same time.
You looked him over, from head to toe. He was leanly muscled, with endless planes of smooth skin waiting to be touched. It left you eager to get your hands on him. You saved what you hoped to be the best for last, and you definitely weren’t disappointed.
His cock rested against his stomach, looking achingly hard, precum glistening at the tip. It wasn’t huge by any stretch, but it would be more than enough to fill you up. Maybe not the most you’d ever been filled up, or enough to ruin you for other men for the rest of your life, but you knew you were going to leave the club a very satisfied woman.
“Like what you see?” he eventually asked.
“I do,” you replied, simply. “You should come over here now.”
He smiled. “It would be my pleasure.”
You watched as he made a quick stop at the bowl of condoms and lube.
He grabbed a condom of the bowl, fumbling a bit because of how quickly he tried to remove it from the wrapper and roll it down his length. It was obvious that he was just as desperate for you as you were for him.
You spread your legs and waited impatiently for him to join you on the bed.
“Look so pretty like this,” he commented, hands brushing lightly against your knees as he slotted himself between your thighs.
“Thank you. If you want me to move some other way, I can. I mean I’m not sure what your favorite position is,” you said. “I’m happy with whatever you want.”
“This is perfect. Missionary is sort of underrated in my opinion,” he told you, lining himself up and pushing into you in one long thrust. After he was all the way in, he lowered himself on top of you and pressed a brief kiss to your lips. “Need me to stay still for a minute?”
“Thank you for offering, but I think I’m good,” you replied. “I really want you to move right now.”
“Your wish is my command.” He rocked his hips against yours slowly, increasing the length and speed of his thrusts gradually, until he was finally fucking you at a just about perfect pace and depth.
You rolled your hips back into his thrusts until you found a rhythm you both liked, wrapping your legs around him and pulling him tighter against you.
His mouth met yours in wet and sloppy kisses, sometimes barely more than moaning and breathing heavily into each other’s mouths.
You snaked a hand between your bodies to get yourself off again before he came, but he pushed it aside.
“Let me,” he breathed. His hand replaced yours, fingers collecting some of your wetness near your entrance. Then, he started rubbing slick circles around your clit.
“Getting close,” you told him as your second orgasm of the night approached. It came much quicker than you’d anticipated, and even harder than the first one.
Your body clenched and pulsed around his cock, milking him, and bringing him over the edge with you.
He came with a loud groan, thrusts growing rougher and more erratic as he spilled into the condom. When his climax finally ebbed, he collapsed on top of you.
A comfortable silence stretched between you as you both recovered, heart rates gradually slowing and breathing evening out.
“How do you feel about pancakes?” he eventually asked.
“Um, they’re fine, I guess?” you responded, confused. “What do pancakes have to do with anything?”
“That was me asking you if you want to join me at IHOP. I’m hungry, and I saw one around the corner. They’re open 24 hours,” he explained.
You laughed. “Sure, why not? Going to IHOP in the middle of the night with a guy I met at a sex club wearing a skimpy dress with nothing on underneath it probably wouldn’t be the craziest thing I’ve ever done.”
He smiled at you. “Sounds like you’ve got stories to tell me, pretty girl.”
“Sounds like I do,” you agreed, smiling back.

THE GEAR SHIFT.
Tumblr media
The Gear Shift underground bar located near Yorkville, Manhattan. Established in 1992, the Gear Shift’s owner Victoria Taurine, also known as ‘Mama Bull’, wished to create a haven for those reigning from supernatural origins, or myths. Growing up her parents were shape-shifters: humans who are able to reconstruct their biology to take the form of one or many different animals. Victoria’s parents abilities allowed them to shift into Holstein cattle, yet Victoria – despite going to shape-shifter academies – has never been able to shift herself. She was marked a dud, or someone born of myths without myth abilities. She wasn’t shunned for her lack of abilities as she still wanted to be apart of the community she grew up so close to.
Upon opening The Gear Shift, Victoria coined the nickname ‘Mama Bull’ for her boisterous attitude as well her nurturing side. She marks all of her guests as her children, no matter their age or history, as all she wishes is to keep them safe and give them a place where they can be themselves.
To keep this safety, as well as the secrecy of the Gear Shift, the bar is an invite only establishment– aside from it being a hidden location. Only myths can invite other myths, who must have an ID distributed by the Crusade. Mama and her leads will also make their own judgements to make sure who comes won’t stir any trouble.
Mama Bull’s leads are Airin, Kamaria and Sanaa Wasem, and her long-time friend Lewis Dubois. Kamaria holds her spot in helping Mama bartend, but she’s also the main act when it comes to the bar’s events. Her music genre ranges from r&b to jazz, but she does take requests. Sanaa is the lead waitress who tends to the needs of patrons and start common chatter. Airin is the establishments lead bouncer. He’s well known throughout the bar as he loves to meet new faces, but if customers ever have complaints or concerns they’ll be directed to him. They can usually find him up in his ‘perch’; the only corner booth in the whole bar.
GEAR SHIFT BUILDING LAYOUT – OLD WILL BE UPDATED.
The Gear Shift is a single level building. Its decor consists of various animal-themed ornaments, and wall-decor of gears. The primary lighting throughout the building is a bit dim, but rich hues of blue and pinks are consistent throughout. The stage lights ( when they’re not being use for shows ) are white, yet they can be altered. The booths on the elevated floor have hanging lights which have dim, yellow light bulbs. Their settings can be adjusted via the control panel on the wall of a booth.
Mama Bull’s bar is one of her biggest prides of the building. It holds a large collection of liquor she’s gotten throughout her travels around the world as well as going to wine tastings. These are lined up on the back wall. Which also features an elegant, rectangle waterfall wall-mount which runs across the bar. There is one dormant television which hangs in the lower right corner behind the bar ( when referring to the layout ). It is rarely turned on because Mama firmly believes patrons are here to socialize, but if persuaded she’ll turn it on,
The back rooms are not always open for the public. Any need for them one must consult either Mama Bull, Sanaa, Kamaria, or Airin. They can grab the keys, but the patron must have an understandable reason. If someone enters they’ll be greeted by three sets of doors which are also locked. Inside of those are low-lit rooms ( which can be adjusted ) featuring a large round waterbed which take up the whole room. On them are silk sheets, plush blankets, and mismatched pillows. In every room there is one end table for you to set your belongings. These can be used for my frisky endeavors or if a patron needs a place to stay for the night.
The main area of the bar is the stage and dance-floor. When not in use more tables and chairs are set out, or they’ll set out pool-tables. The elevated floors have seating and a bar-like table which overlooks the dance-floor. Behind them are elevated booths which are dug into the walls. The single corner booth is dubbed ‘the perch’ as from it you can see almost all of the bar.
The backstage is closed off entirely to the public. Inside it consists of a make-up beauty mirror with all of ones needs. A couch for lounging hugs one of the walls, but if one continues to snoop around they’ll notice it also acts as a storage for tables, chairs, etc. Mama Bull also does most of her accounting work in the backstage for privacy, and because she doesn’t have an office.
MENU.
The Gear Shift has a wide menu because of Lewis Dubois. As stated prior he is one of the leads, but never interacts with patrons. His master chef status allows the bar to feature common items ranging from burgers, steaks, wings, salads, but also more exquisite meals. They have gluten options and vegan options as well. Deserts are bountiful, but if a patrons on a special diet or has a certain allergy kitchen staff will do their best to suit to suit their needs.
The bar has a wide-range in beers, wines, bourbon, tequilas, and margaritas. Any high-end liquor will be an upped price, but if a patron become good friends with Mama Bull she wouldn’t mind sharing her secret stash of her favorites. She also serves non-alcoholic drinks, as well as donated blood of various types for those who need it.
ACTIVITIES.
Throughout the week the Gear Shift holds various events and specials. A normal week’s schedule consists of:
Monday: Half-off all you can eat appetizers. Tuesday: Pool night. Wednesday:  Swing Dance night. Thursday: Two for one meals. Friday: Show night ( for song artists ). Saturday: Party night/Karaoke night. Sunday: No specials.
Every month has its own special events on select dates. If one is planning on a show to perform at the Gear Shift they must consult Mama Bull and she’ll be happy to help.
Tumblr media
Other notes:
The Gear Shift is funded by The Crusade. Because of the bars international fame they gather in many esteemed guests. In which the Crusade loves to make new allies and connections.
Despite the colorful exterior Mama Bull has her skeletons in the closet. Because the Cosmic Order infiltrating her bar years ago, she hired on Airin’s brother Xavier to kill any hunter. This is without the Crusade’s permission.
