i've been thinking about it lately and i know a lot of my mutuals are as slow as me to reply ooc, ( tumblr dms are like the void ) so i was thinking of ways, aside from posting starter calls for people that i could make interacting with me easier than having to plot. and, honestly, memes are the absolute best way. if we've never spoken, barely spoken, speak every so often, or speak every day, i still encourage you to send some memes. because, honestly, my inbox is full of the same four people and i'm not too sure if it's because i, myself, am struggling with reaching out to people. that, and i know there is a lot of anxiety about sending memes to someone, i get anxious to send memes to people in case someone is like 'ew its them', or they simply get ignored. ( anxiety is a bastard fr fr. ) so this is my way of kind of saying, just send the meme! or forty! also, in case you're struggling to think of who to send them to, i'm going to attach a list of muses i am feeling really motivated to write for!

okay ill give one example of how your post and thinking is incorrect (although ive already sent an inbox to nosa-jj on why your post is wrong) Firstly the prophet married a young female, however this was not a crime during that period of time she would have had given her consent so it can not be classed as pedophilia. Obviously in todays society pedophilia exists and i am against it just like the rest of society.

A young female? That’s your way of making a little 6 year old girl sound just a touch older? You do realize Muhammad was 50 at the time, right? She would have given him her consent? Okay, let’s read some of the Hadiths and see how much consent was involved, shall we? 

Sahih Bukhari 62:18 shows Aisha’s father, Abu Bakr, did not consent to a 50 year old man taking away his 6 year old daughter to marry, but Muhammad explained to the father how the rules of his religion made it possible and to abide by the religion. – Muhammad being a ruthless, bloodthirsty warlord, was her father really going to say no? But you still count that as consent, yes? 

Sahih Muslim 8:3309 reads direct passages from Aisha herself: “Muhammad married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine. We went to Medina and I had an attack of fever for a month. My mother came to me and I was at that time on a swing along with my playmates. She called me loudly and I went to her and I did not know what she had wanted of me. She took hold of my hand and took me to the door, and I was saying: Ha, ha (as if I was gasping), until the agitation of my heart was over. She took me to a house, where had gathered the women of the Ansar. They all blessed me and wished me good luck and said: May you have share in good. My mother entrusted me to them. They washed my head and embellished me and nothing frightened me. Muhammad came there in the morning, and I was entrusted to him.”

How much of Aisha’s consent or willingness would you say was involved? Or does it sound much more like a 6 year old child doing what adults told her to do?

Sahih Muslim 8:3311 shows Aisha, just a child even took her dolls with her to Muhammad’s house. Sahih Bukhari 6:298 shows Muhammad would take a bath with her and fondle her and to consummate their marriage she had to have sex with him. Sahih Bukhari 4:232 shows the little girl would have to wash semen stains out of his clothes, which left wet spots when he went to the mosque for prayers. Yet somehow you don’t consider this perversion of a child’s innocence? All because it was your Prophet who you are banned from saying anything negatively about? Are you really sinking so low that you cannot condemn his actions whether it was a thousand years ago or yesterday? 

I understand you are against paedophilia today but you’re not against Muhammad doing it? It’s still paedophilia. Your excuse is, “well, it wasn’t illegal back then.” And that makes it okay? Slavery wasn’t illegal at one time, does that stop it from being slavery? Do you also refuse to condemn the actions of slave owners because it wasn’t illegal at the time? Or do you want to save even a fraction of your human decency and condemn the actions of Muhammad? If not, do you care to explain why you refuse to condemn his actions of convincing a 6 year old girl’s parents to take her away and use her for sex when he was 50? 

Well, I already know why you won’t condemn him and it’s because that would be against your religion, that would be against the demands of Allah to never question the Prophet, that would be blasphemy which would result in punishment. Have I summed it up for you? I have a feeling you have recently been converted, you’ve been sold a whole bunch of bullshit to make it all seem so great and wonderful and you’ve been conned into believing that there are no flaws within Islam, the Quran, Allah or Muhammad to the point where you refuse to even condemn paedophilia.
