Why i believe Gojo could come back
This chapter left us in a devastated state and was absolutely uncalled for, but I personally believe this isnt the end of the strongest sorcerer. There are several reasons as to why (These are just opinions, I could be wrong in certain areas AND personal feelings might make an occassional appearance.)
LEAKS:
Tumblr media
This whole panel was obviously made for a reason. And we dont see gojo making a decision. Considering the fact that this is literally THE Gojo Satoru, he's more likely to choose north since there's numerous things left as plot holes. We'll get to that.
Tumblr media
Here in this page, he mentions that Toji should've cut his head off to actually kill him. In the leaks, whats cut off is his upper body but not the head! I still can't quite wrap my head around RCT but lets say he's not able to heal himself. You know who can and who would? Yuta and Shoko
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now moving on
Tumblr media
"Gojo then bids farewell to everyone." If hes truly gone then why would he be bidding farewell to the fallen comrades? If he's dead then isn't he supposed to stay in the afterlife with them?
Tumblr media
Pretty self explanatory
Tumblr media
What if Kashimo is going in to distract Sukuna while Shoko and Yuta can heal Gojo?
Now think about this. Gojo is gone, Shoko doesnt fight and who are all left? A bunch of sorcerers who are literally under 20, need guidance and we havent really seen any panel where they actually plan how they're going to go about in the whole battle. Gojo isnt a want, hes a NEED, a NECESSITY.
Remember, Toji who was dead long ago pretty much appeared out of nowhere in Shibuya Arc LMAO so- yes
Tumblr media
WHAT IS THIS EVEN SUPPOSED TO MEAN
Theres no way Gojo would be left sealed for 3 whole years, brought him back just to kill him off in the most disrespectful way possible.
Besides, things that Gojo wanted to do haven't happened yet.
He wanted to tell megumi about his father
He wanted to see his students surpass the strongest sorcerer, aka him
He wanted to get rid of the higher ups
He wanted to properly mourn suguru (for which kenjaku has to be defeated but oh well)
He wanted to save Megumi
Tumblr media
How'd we know what Gojo said here.
On to the other aspects of why killing off Gojo was a bad idea. We barely ever saw what happened to him, and an off screen death to the so called strongest sorcerer is just senseless. Gojo is a fan favourite. People started watching the show for Gojo (myself included) and there's a high possibility of multiple people dropping the manga since he isn't even there anymore.
The ending could take a turn for the worse considering the fact that Sukuna is just overpowered and Kenjaku hasn't done anything as of now. Unless there's some heavy plot armor I dont think the students even stand a chance against Sukuna and Kenjaku. Both outcomes- the students and others emerging as victors or sukuna emerging as a victor could make the ending absolutely terrible and this might as well top AOT for being the manga with the most disliked ending.
Gojo Satoru is the mentor for multiple; for Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, Yuta, Maki, Panda, Toge and the third years and its necessary for them to have someone to teach them. It is one of Satoru's wishes to see his students surpass him, which can happen only when he's there since there's nobody else who is actually capable of teaching them and leading them into the world as actual graduated sorcerers.
So Gojo dying will make the manga take a turn for the worse. Killing him off in the middle makes absolutely no sense and is just plain bad writing. People are prolly gonna kill me for this but lets admit the truth. Hyping this battle, building up tension just to finish him off screen is NOT good writing.
Anyways. There is factual proof of Gojo potentially making a return. Maybe at a cost, like him losing his power, losing his "strongest" title or anything else. He may not even be the same anymore but honestly as long as he's back, I'm fine.
Tumblr media
It happened previously, and could happen again.
Satoru Gojo may not be the strongest and the honoured one, but may be reborn as a newer version of himself after getting humbled. Lotuses, as mentioned above symbolise rebirth, which is why i believe this is not the end.
A small bit of advice for gojo fans: Go watch haikyuu or highschool babysitters as a form of self care <3

i'm your cannibal (i'll take forever from you)
some gross sukuita thing where sukuna confesses his love in a really disturbing way. title is taken from jungle by cruex lies, which sounds like a sukuita song to me. i wrote this instead of sleeping or studying ;-;
Standing in front of the mirror, Yuuji is struck once again by the overpowering feeling that everything about him is foreign. Even before he swallowed that cursed finger whole, there had always been something inherently different about him. Tiger-like strength, an overwhelming excess of empathy and impulsivity, a family full of secrets he might never know, and a high tolerance for the macabre and supernatural. Even his appearance is more than a little unique, a wide open and expressive face crowned in a shock of hair pink as a blush, but with a strong, powerful body made for running and punching.
And now with Sukuna, the King of Curses himself, residing like a parasite in his very skin, his body has become even stranger. Sukuna's eyes — scarlet and burning — suddenly blossom on Yuuji's palms or that sneering mouth peels open across Yuuji's cheek. Those manifestations of Sukuna on his own body are unsettling, really, but they don't hurt at all. Rather, they feel warm — too warm sometimes, like a hot hand set on his flesh, something that radiates heat and pulses with life… a whole other entity trapped inside of him, breaking to the surface.
He stares at his face in the mirror, pressing a cupped fist to the side of his reflection. He inhales deeply, lungs feeling too heavy to hold the air in, and he knows he's close to breaking. He hasn't cried in a long time, and he refuses to now, but images waver in his mind: flash-fast visions of the malformed creatures Mahito made to fight him, human once, that Yuuji killed far too easily, or the broken bodies of people he'd known — sorcerers come to fight the blood-hungry curses of the world or innocent victims caught in the cross-fire, all viciously ended like it meant nothing.
Was all of it his fault? Ever since he'd merged with Sukuna, the rate of attacks by high grade curses had increased, and he'd attracted the attention of serious threats that wouldn't hesitate to kill his friends and teachers. Everything that had happened to cause harm to others could be linked back to him. He bites his tongue at the irony. His grandfather's dying request had been for him to protect people, to put his own self at risk for the well-being of others, yet more tragedy has followed him and the people he cared about than he'd ever known possible.
Maybe he should have let Gojo's superiors kill him as soon as he'd been cursed by the heartless god inside of his body. Maybe he really is a monster now, nothing more than a killing creature with only unnatural death after unnatural death ahead of him.
He makes a choking sound, trying to hold back sobs, glaring into his own eyes. Pure hatred simmers in his throat, the burning ache of unshed tears causing him to grip the edge of the mirror even harder. His reflection cracks from the sudden pressure, a million splinters breaking apart his face, and he blinks hard. He forgets his own strength sometimes, and right now it feels horrifying.
"It's all your fault," he whispers, eyes never leaving the cracked mask of his reflection, his voice harsher and rougher than he's ever heard it been, and he finally breaks.
He barely feels it when the first tears slip down his cheeks; they're cold but so is his skin, and he only realizes he's full-on crying, close to sobbing, when something so keenly alive and physical stirs inside of him.
He watches it happen in the mirror: a vicious red mouth yawning open across his cheek, grinning carnivore teeth on full display. Yuuji grits his own teeth at the sight of it, finally managing to swallow back the rest of his tears, fully expecting Sukuna to start mocking him, to open that monstrous mouth and gut him with cold words about being overly emotional and sickeningly weak… but it doesn't happen. Instead, the tip of Sukuna's long, inhuman tongue peeks out and rasps up the tears spilling down Yuuji's cheek.
"Ehhhhhh????!!" he cries out, shocked by the wet, slurping thing, disgust curling his lips. "What the fuck???"
Sukuna laughs, a deep and rich sound that has Yuuji vibrating from the inside out. "Your suffering tastes sweet to me, brat," he all but croons. "When I have you broken and bleeding on the ground before me, I'll savor it, I'll devour it."
Yuuji tries to ignore him, but Sukuna keeps licking at the remaining tears slowly sliding down his cheeks, that serpentine tongue feeling more than a little rough and uncomfortably wet against Yuuji's skin, but it's also far too warm and almost gentle, and Yuuji is — absurdly — reminded of a cat. He cringes, slapping at the soft, spit-soaked appendage.
"You're seriously gross, you know," he mutters, uselessly rubbing at the disgusting mix of cold tears and too-hot saliva with the edge of his sleeve. His reflection in the mirror does the same, only disjointed and shattered.
"Watch your mouth, brat," Sukuna hisses, sending shivers down Yuuji's neck that he tries to ignore. "Or I'll rip the tongue out of your head and eat it."
"You would actually do that, wouldn't you?" Yuuji bites out, freezing in place for a second, feeling like he might be sick. "You're a monster."
Sukuna laughs again, but this time it's subdued. Instead of thrumming through Yuuji's whole body, it mostly just pulses along his throat, far softer and much calmer. It's almost more threatening that way.
"I wouldn't start with your tongue though," Sukuna muses aloud, the cruel lips of his disembodied mouth pulling wide in a sadistic smile. "I'd eat your eyes first."
Yuuji almost chokes, his heart pounding harder in his chest. I'm in control, he has to remind himself, forcing his fists to relax. He can't do anything to me when I'm in control. Instead of giving into the panic coursing through his veins, he plays it like he doesn't care, leaning in closer at the edge of the sink and casually running his hands through his hair, studying his reflection as he straightens the mess of his spikes like Sukuna's thinly veiled threats are less important to him than making sure his hair isn't unruly. "My eyes first, hmmm?" he wonders out loud, dismissively, and is satisfied when he senses a jolt of Sukuna's displeasure.
"Yes, brat, your eyes. I'll pluck them out of your skull and swallow them whole," the King of Curses sneers.
"Why my eyes? Think they're pretty?" Yuuji teases, lightly, like it doesn't matter if Sukuna is offended by the accusation, because it really doesn't. But instead of coming back with a harsh insult or reprimand, Sukuna remains surprisingly quiet.
Yuuji finds himself curious enough to flick his gaze lower so he can meet his own eyes in the mirror. They're light brown, darker at the center, glittering like a ring. Though he himself considers them plain, he finds he can't look away from the sight of them right now. A soft color, like sun-warmed honey, glinting like crystal in the dim light overhead, larger and rounder than Sukuna's eyes. And deep. Yuuji wasn't aware before of just how deep his gaze was, a gentle darkness he could drown in, and he can't help but think Not pretty… beautiful.
But wait, that wasn't his own thought. Yuuji almost gasps, managing to hold in his surprise at the last second. Sometimes he can sense Sukuna's thoughts or feelings like they're his own, even though the sorcerer usually keeps his intentions or emotions — if he has any besides the murderous and self-obsessed kind — hidden away from Yuuji. But occasionally they slip through, when Yuuji dreams or when Sukuna is especially distracted… like right now.
Yuuji can't believe he's willing to let this continue, but he clears his scraped-out throat and finds himself asking, "You'd really eat me?"
Sukuna grins, lazy and satisfied. He had obviously been hoping Yuuji would bite, and here Yuuji is… completely indulging him. He should feel sick at his own curiosity, he should feel disgusted at anything Sukuna says or thinks, but he can't — not when Sukuna's voice gets even lower and deeper, practically thrumming right up his spine now.
"I will rip off your lips with my teeth," Sukuna says, tongue flickering out of his mouth like a snake scenting the air. Can he sense Yuuji's increasing body heat, can he taste Yuuji's surge of excitement?
In the back of his mind, Yuuji can still hear the small snatches of the cursed king's stolen thoughts: So soft and sweet, bite down and make them bleed. A blurry image surfaces from the depths of Sukuna's consciousness into Yuuji's own, a flickering image of Yuuji's lips covered in a sheen of Sukuna's saliva, the king's teeth sunk deep in the soft flesh of Yuuji's mouth.
"I will devour your fingers, your face, your insides," Sukuna continues, and there's a pounding pulse where the knots of Sukuna's soul are tangled with Yuuji's own… he can sense them like never before, and he can't keep up with the rush of thoughts and images surging through Sukuna's mind, a fragmented stream of The brat, the brat stuck on my fingers, running down my face, his colors … melting through my veins. Dripping down my lips, glistening across my wrists, feel his soul deep in my bones.
And Yuuji exhales with a rush, because the way Sukuna is thinking of him right now… it's like a morbid love song or something — like broken pieces snapped off some grotesque poem, dark petals peeled off a black flower. It's like there's nothing else in the world he'd rather have all to himself, nothing he wouldn't want to devour better. Yuuji can sense the corrosive, overbearing feeling that eats away at Sukuna, that hunger he'd never sensed in the King of Curses before. Hunger just for Yuuji, hunger to make them one, hunger to absorb Yuuji completely into his own self so that they will never be apart. To mix their colors, to melt into each other's souls, to burst in each other's mouths.
Those thoughts are all imploding inside of Sukuna's mind and spilling directly into Yuuji's. He can barely breathe, his heart beating too hard against his ribcage, like a trapped bird throwing itself against the cage. And of course Sukuna takes notice of it … All of a sudden, a pressure encircles Yuuji's beating heart completely, crushing his chest.
"And I will gorge on your heart," Sukuna growls, and Yuuji is flooded with a sudden rush of possessiveness that is pouring directly from Sukuna. It's a dizzying jolt to his system. It's burning heat throbbing in his chest, a hand right over his heart, cupping it whole. It's overwhelming, and he almost can't take it, knees giving out so he slips down onto the floor, close to overflowing.
He lets out a gasp, filled to bursting by this strange feeling coursing through his entire body. There's something inside of him. Sukuna, inside of him. So close, so warm, burning within his skin like a fever. He's never known a closeness like this before, never. The fullness of it, the rightness of it is shocking, consuming.
A hot touch spreading across his hand barely registers in the back of his mind. He lifts it up, watching as Sukuna's eye and mouth flutter open across his palm. The eye is scarlet, deep dark red and slitted, like a demonic cat staring up at him. Their gazes lock together, and Yuuji can't pull away.
"Do you get it now, brat?" Sukuna asks, softly. Far too softly. His tongue flicks out again, dragging up Yuuji's wrist, licking up the sweat gathering there. "You are my vessel, made for me. You're mine. Everything you are belongs to me. This body, this soul, this heart is all for me."
The hand around his heart clenches deeper and Yuuji almost sobs, the warmth of it thawing whatever had kept him cold and lonely before all this. Before Sukuna ended up inside of him, before there was nothing and no one in the world that had gotten so close to Yuuji.
He stares into Sukuna's eye, feels the sorcerer's mouth with those dark lips twitching into a growing grin. "I could eat you forever," Sukuna purrs, and Yuuji can't help it.
Before he can think better of it, before he even knows what he's doing, he leans in closer and presses his mouth to Sukuna's own. It's nothing more than a quick brush of his lips against the cursed king's, but in that single moment Yuuji feels how surprisingly soft Sukuna's mouth is, how sharp his teeth are past that obscenely long tongue.
And before Sukuna can say anything in response, Yuuji smiles down at the monster manifested on his palm. "Enough of the gross cannibal talk, old man, or someone might think you're getting feelings for me. Admittedly twisted feelings, but feelings all the same."
Sukuna opens his cursed mouth to make protests, but Yuuji silences him by placing his hand right over those dark lips. Naturally, the King of Curses bites him, hard enough to draw blood even, but Yuuji doesn’t cry out or pull away. He lets Sukuna’s teeth sink deep into the flesh of his palm, a bright flash of pain for just a moment, and revels in the thoughts coursing through their shared mind, a chorus of mine mine mine that is felt by the both of them.
When Sukuna’s mouth pulls away, there’s an obvious bitemark buried deep in Yuuji’s flesh, and Sukuna grins wide to show his now bloodied teeth. “You’re mine, brat, don’t ever forget that.”
Yuuji can only nod. Maybe he’s actually mad. Maybe Sukuna did something to his brain, altered it or damaged it or something. But right in this moment, he feels too full, too warm, almost whole… It feels so good, he can’t really fight it. He leans back against the sink and closes his eyes. Breathes in and feels Sukuna’s soul shifting inside of him, breathes out and senses the slow calming of Sukuna’s thoughts.
Everything is so weird. Everything is so messed up. But when he feels the aching of his bloody palm, the sweet purring Sukuna makes whenever Yuuji accepts those feelings, he knows it’s the only fate he’s willing to face. Being marked by the King of Curses is a tragedy, really, but never before has Yuuji felt so close to something, never felt so alive and powerful, never felt so complete and defined. He feels that he belongs, that he is wanted, even if it’s in some twisted way.
And he knows that he is Sukuna’s.
And, deep down, he knows that Sukuna is his too, because both of them are complete with each other, and both of them are the two sides of the very same whole.
It’s not such a monstrous thought as it should have been, and he isn’t as scared as he’d thought he’d be when he finally — and fully — accepts it.

The Unborn Death Curse
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When the disaster curses had their talk with Kenjaku at the beginning of the series, Jogo mentioned a Boss who wanted to replace humans with curses and that they wanted the same. That Boss was never mentioned again as far as I remember.
What was said though was that the disaster curses, or the fear and negative feelings that ceated them, were so strong that they had a conscious mind before their bodies were formed. So this Boss could be a curse that hasn't formed a physical body yet.
What kind of curse could stand above the fear and hate that created Jogo, Hanami, Dagon and Mahito though? Only one thing comes to mind here and that is a curse created by every negative emotion to do with Death.
The fear of death is probably one of the oldest and most deep-seated fears in human history and JJK literally starts with death as a major truning point for Yuji and is a big theme going forward. So it's atsonishing that Gege (probably) put the unborn Death Curse into the beginning of the story but then later decided to let that plot slide away.
That Death Curse would've basically been a Shinigami which would bring us to one of Gege's biggest manga inspirations: Bleach. But maybe that similarity itself made him discard the Death Curse idea and focus on the reincarnated sorcerers after Shibuya instead.
For the end of the manga we have the option that cursed energy gets fully eradicated. I don't think that will happen so let's say the entire CE based magic system stays intact. What could happen is that Japan gets fucked in the last chapters even if Yuji and Megumi survive.
The disaster curses have already promised to see each other again in 100 years so the option of powerful curses appearing again is already established (and maybe Sukuna gets sealed instead of being killed, too). If Gege hasn't completely forgotten about this Boss yet, he might put it somewhere at the end of the manga as a vision of the future and what else the characters might face in their hopefully happier lives.

JJK's got me really worrying about Yuuji's ultimate destination in the story at this point...
Warning: Major manga spoilers through Ch. 259 ahead...
He just feels too perfectly paralleled to Sukuna, and it makes me worry that he's gonna have a very difficult time not falling straight into the same path.
At this point, we know they're related, though I can't say it came as a particular surprise to me. It seemed an odd choice for Akutami to make Yuuji physically resemble Sukuna for no reason, especially when the audience can clearly see the two are tied together via the markings that appear on Sukuna's human hosts. This choice seems even more out of place when we see how Akutami specifically drew Maki and Mai to resemble each other, and Mei Mei and Ui Ui, and Toji and Megumi. So finding out Sukuna and Yuuji are blood-related? That makes sense, especially given how very little is said about his bloodline in a series that focuses so heavily on the passage of power via bloodlines.
It also explains some of Kenjaku's weird breeding plan. Of course he'd (they'd?) want to maximize the potential for Sukuna's vessel to be an adequate one. What better way to do that than to seek out the same bloodline and then force a magically engineered baby into it? (Freaking weirdo....)
But... like... Sukuna wasn't always the way he was. He used to care about people, and have ideals and such, but then all of that was gradually stripped away from him. With its loss, he lost his desire to bother with such things, deciding instead to live for the moment, to embrace his own pleasure and whatever happened to suit his fancy in the here and now.
I can't help but wonder if he was a lot like Yuuji. Someone who's strong, and who loves deeply, and... well, who has a penchant for eating weird things.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, in the story's present timeline, Yuuji is being gradually stripped of everything he values. He didn't mind so much if he died. Not that it didn't scare him. He did indeed blubber like a baby the first time he came face to face with his own death. But after getting through that and seeing the damage Sukuna caused to those he cared about even at such a low power level, he made some sort of peace with it, and from then on (and especially after Shibuya), there are multiple instances where he demands others do whatever it takes to destroy Sukuna should he come out again.
But now, he might genuinely be the only one of the Main Four who makes it out of this alive. Akutami once said that either only one of them would die or only one of them would live, and with one definitely down and things looking, at best, Very Not Good for the other two, it really feels like it's just gonna be one of them alive, and that one will be Yuuji.
How hard is it going to hit Yuuji to lose all of that? Will he still resemble himself if he loses everyone? And he hasn't just lost the other three. He's been losing other supporting cast since Junpei (if not his grandpa), and while he only knew Junpei for a very short period of time, Junpei's death hit him hard. Nanami filled a mentor role for Yuuji for all that time when Gojo couldn't, and after Yuuji lost Nanami (and possibly Nobara), he didn't wince at absolutely tearing Mahito apart. His cold fury and dedication to the hunt became so strong that it left Mahito, someone who had previously reveled in the threat of their own demise, terrified and cowering, seeking help from the one person he knew was still around and more powerful than himself.
Tumblr media
And then to take away Choso... who Yuuji had gradually accepted as his big brother, who had stuck by him and looked after him and done his best not just to train but to encourage Yuuji when he most felt the only path forward for him was isolation and death. Yuuji hasn't yet had the breathing room to even try and process the loss of Choso, but it was very apparent in the moment where Choso sacrificed his all that Yuuji, while doing his best to encourage and thank Choso, was devastated.
The devastation has broken Yuuji before. When he saw Mahito take down Nanami and Nobara, he basically lost the will to fight. Todoh might have helped him find it again (much as he's helping Yuuji get back on his feet now that Choso's gone), but what happens if he loses Todoh? His recovery from the Shibuya losses culminated in that cold anger that killed Mahito. If he loses enough now, what form will that take in this fight against Sukuna?
Without Choso or Megumi or Gojo or Nobara or Todoh or anyone else he held most dearly there to bring him back down, what's to stop him from turning his back entirely on caring for others to protect his heart, from just embracing the cold and becoming a conduit for destruction?
It's worth noting he already feels like he's lost his way. Way back in Season 1, in the arc where he and Nobara face down with Eso and Kechizu, Yuuji realizes he crossed an important line he set for himself. He took lives, not of curses, but of beings that were at least somewhat human, and he confesses to Nobara he's no longer sure where the line for murder is for him anymore.
Nevermind that everyone else he knows seems to have already strode past it. It may not have been as important to them, but it was very important to him, and then it was gone.
JJK has never been a series where the day is won by the Power of Friendship(TM). In fact, the Power of Friendship has repeatedly caused people to make some of the dumbest, most self-serving, and ultimately most destructive decisions in the story.
Tumblr media
Chances of the story suddenly wrapping up with the Power of Friendship or love or anything else like that saving the day seem... low.
But chances of the story wrapping up with someone embracing pure power to become the next monster that imposes their sense of order on things? That seems possible. Sukuna did it in his day, and wants to do it again. So did Kenjaku. So did the leaders of Jujutsu society, both on a large scale while hidden behind their screens and on smaller scales such as we see with the whole Zen'in clan. A big part of why those same leaders disliked Gojo so much was because he could single-handedly overturn them if he had a mind to fully embrace that monstrous role. A big part of why those same people feared Geto so much was because, without the guarantee of Gojo fighting against Geto, those leaders weren't so sure they could take him down. It's also why they wanted to execute both Yuuta and Yuuji. They've spent a lot of time as the current era's monsters, imposing their sense of order, and they will not give it up lightly.
But now they're gone. So is Kenjaku, and Gojo, and soon enough, Sukuna himself might fall. Who will fill that gap, and what kind of monster will they be?
The story has already described all of the most powerful students as monsters, and that's true just based on their abilities. But what will really determine how monstrous they are is what they decide to do with that power.
At the end of the story, what will Yuuji do with his power, especially if he's left all alone surrounded by nothing but rubble the corpses of so many he cared for, respected, and loved?
Looks like we'll find out soon enough, for better or worse.

𝐚/𝐧: this took me forever istg, almost got the semi-writers block. we getting to the good parts of the story here *evil smile* let’s see what happens next!
chapter 6 ✿ chapter 8
Tumblr media
You felt that the bathroom was starting to be some meet-up point or something. In front of you was a woman with white shoulder-length hair, with a strip of red pink going across it. They somewhat resembles a koi fish, in a way. They also had dark pink eyes and a blank expression; you couldn't make out if they were a man or woman by their androgynous appearance and body shape. But they sure do wear some expensive clothing brands close to more than your father's yearly salary.
"I am Uraume," they introduce themselves to you with a monotone voice; they dig inside their expensive coat pocket without taking their eyes off you. You eye Uraume suspiciously. It hasn't even been a week since you were cornered not too long ago by Sukuna's Fanclub, and you shouldn't expect less if they were with the girls too. Like Uraume read your mind, they tried to assure you, "If you think I was like those girls the other day, I'm not. They're pathetic." They handed you a yellow paper that was folded neatly. "I was ordered to deliver this to you; please do not disappoint the sender."
Looking at the paper, then at them, you look at the article again before taking it off their hand slowly and then with a quick swipe. Uraume then left you alone in the bathroom to ponder as they didn't bid you anything else.
Examining the yellow paper, you turn it around before opening it. You wonder who it was from. What you see inside almost made you want to crumple it immediately. Sukuna had scribbled his name and number on it along with a message, but what caught you was what was written at the bottom corner of the paper.
["Don't stand me up either, or I'll come to you if you don't come on time."]
'Some nerve he has!' You fume out before shoving the paper in the back of your pants pocket.
Tumblr media
Sukuna waited patiently against his costume-made car. He was playing with a lighter, opening the lid and closing it as the sound of metal clinging against each other made a nice ring. There were barely any people around since there were not that many people who occupied the street or his chosen area. Sukuna's attention pitched up when he saw a taxi pulled near the meeting point. He could see you in the back seat, chatting with the fare driver and paying them.
"Thank you, have a nice evening!" Closing the car door, you walk towards Sukuna. Sukuna let out a low whistle at what you're wearing before putting the lighter back in his pants pocket. When you're near enough in front of him, he has a smile of fondness and adoration floating in his eyes. "What's with that stupid look?"
Sukuna: "Why? I can't admire my woman?"
You: "We're not dating."
Sukuna: "Yet."
You roll your eyes dramatically, "What are we doing here in a rich bourgeoisie area?" Crossing your arms together, you look up at Sukuna, who pushes himself off his car and steps closer to you; he uses a finger to wipe away a piece of hair behind your ear. And you, slap his hand away.
"Would you believe me if I said I live somewhere around here?" Sukuna motion a hand behind you, and you look around all these modern houses that have large yards, even double garages. Not to mention two stories.
You: "No, not really."
Sukuna: "Look at me; I'm the real deal."
You: "Haha."
Sukuna: "What do you say we get out of here?"
Tumblr media
The drive was quiet; the soft scent of cedar filled the car. You were focused on the view as the car drive-by the ocean across the bridge. There were ferry ships with glowing lights and people lounging/ mingling together.
Sukuna side-eyes you out of his peripheral view, seeing you being enchanted by city lights in the distance or anything that glitters across the night sky; he felt the familiar thumping of his heartbeat that races for you and your presence.
Tumblr media
"We're here," Sukuna announces, stopping his car in a parking lot. Up in front of you was a fair/ carnival. Colorful lights of any shades and hue decorate the expansion landscape. You were in awe; it's been a few years since you had last visited any main fun attraction.
Sukuna saw how the very sight once again enraptured your eyes. Excitement danced in your eyes, rambunctious energy exuded from your persona, and you could barely contain it. But yet, you still maintain that sassy attitude, "You're trying to get me to date you faster by taking me to these events?"
"If it helps, then yes." Sukuna took off his seatbelt; he leaned over the car and got close to you like he always does. He pulls a small gift bag and hands it to you. "For you."
Reluctantly taking the bag from his hand, you peer at what's inside by removing all the colored tissues to the side and see a gift. "What's this now?" It was a red velvet box with gold lining across the case, making sigils and symbols. You opened it, and on the inside was a gemstone of your birth month with a pair of matching earrings. The jewelry shimmers under the dreary light brilliantly before you close the case and set it back inside the bag. You had to admit; that even if it was in the form of simplistic, it's still pretty enough for everyday wear. "This is nice, but it's too much for me."
Sukuna: "I had it made for you."
You: "Dude, we aren't even dating."
Sukuna: "And as I said before, yet."
"You're so insufferable," you push him aside and set the gift bag back into the backseat. Unbuckling the seatbelt, you got out of the car. Walking ahead of Sukuna, he follows after you. Waiting in line, he was right behind you, and Sukuna's body heat almost buried you when a few people stepped back and were close to hitting you with an arm swing in the air. He had an arm wrapped around your waist and one to shield your head.
"Sorry!" One of them apologize.
"Watch what you're doing next time," Sukuna warned them, eyes drooping low in the process and voice suddenly cold. The one apologizes for sweat-drop at Sukuna's stare when a shiver of danger skittles down their backbone. Suddenly they and their friends were far ahead all of a sudden.
You ignored what Sukuna had said to them, but your mind went blank when you landed in his arms. His thumping heart and the sound of his heated breath all enter your ears. It's all so clear that when Sukuna tries to get your attention, you owlishly blink back to reality. A little bit dazed.
"Am I that cuddly that you didn't want to let go?" Sukuna teases out. Peering down at you, a blush dusted across your cheeks that you pulled away in embarrassment. A sensation of chill rushed through the gap and your warm skin.
"Don't get too happy, Bakakuna." Creating a space that two people could fill, all Sukuna has to do is close it in one step. He set a chin on your shoulder, nose tickling your cheek when he nudged it close, and you shrugged his face away in annoyance by leveraging your shoulder out of the way.
Once you got inside, Sukuna paid for the entrance price and bought a hefty amount of tickets to play for each game. And whatever your eyes linger on or slightly glance at, he got it all. You never took him as a person who got competitive or enjoyed giving things out; as long as his money covers it, he will get it. Sukuna had rented out a few lockers to put all the winning prizes that he got for you to put in.
The time went eventful, with him paying for all your needs and wants. You're just thinking about how much you'll owe him once the night ends. A part of you somehow feels about what he wants when it's over.
Through the sea of people, you spot a familiar head of pink salmon hair and a pretty woman. You thought that seeing Yuji would make your heart hurt, but seeing him now doesn't hurt as much as it was before. But after helping Yuji a few times, contact had been almost nonexistent besides the little small talks. Sukuna noticed your precipitous mute and watched where your eyes lingered, he found where your attention went, and a sense of jealousy eased its way in, such an unnecessary feeling he was letting it grow. But a part of him wanted to prove that he's a much better man than Yuji, despite not knowing what you're going through at the current moment.
Sukuna: "Let's go say hi to them."
You: "Wait, what?"
Sukuna dragged you by the wrist, which you didn't opposed. A resolute look was etched into his face, catching your observation. Your focus went to his hand, where his thumb caressed your wrist with benevolent affection. Sukuna thought you would tear your wrist away in detest like you always do when it slipped away, but it slid to the soft touch of your palm. A rush of adrenaline/ dopamine filled his heart and head, the way your finger slithers into his when it gives a few reassuring squeezes to make it grasp and tight. He does it right back, but he has to admit, you almost threw him off track even though he didn't anticipate what you said next.
"Sorry, a force of habit," you told him, "my mom almost lost me once as a kid during a shopping outing, so she made me hold her hand like this."
Sukuna: "All the better, the closer, the better."
You: "You know what? I change my mind."
Sukuna: "Oh? So you did want to hold my hand?"
You: "In your dreams! And I said it's a force of habit!"
Sukuna: "Nice dream indeed; the chances of holding your hands are slims to none."
With Yuji and Shimei getting closer and closer, Sukuna greeted, putting his charming semblance on. "Hello there." He stops in front of them with you right beside him, still holding his hand. Shimei notices the closeness, and a spike of envy strikes her heart, but she masks it with a shy smile. Instead, she even got closer to Yuji.
"What a surprise to see you both here?" Shimei pretends to be joyful. Sukuna's awareness of her sudden change in mood made him feel elated, so he pulled you even closer, to which you didn't object as you had no clue what was going on. "Yuji told me a lot about you." Shimei extends a hand for you to shake, and you sheepishly shake her hand back, in awe of her beauty.
No wonder Yuji likes her.
"Are you dating my brother (Name)?" Yuji asked, which surprised you as you were going to answer, but he rambles on excitedly, "You know I'm happy for you since he-"
"Yuji," Sukuna cuts him off with an icy glare and a tone notifying his younger twin to shut up. Yuji nervously looked away, almost slipping up, and whistled away while scratching the back of his head like he didn't do anything wrong. You wonder why he would do that. "(Name) and I are nothing like that, but we're close to it."
That caught your ears, and you slapped your free hand to his chest. Sukuna puts a hand over the spot you hit and pretends to be in pain when you shout in immediate denial, "No way in Hell!"
"Little Spitfire," Sukuna hums out the nickname, "holding hands like lovers say something else otherwise." This time you're tugging your hand away, and Sukuna finally got some death grip of a boa. He tuts and clicks his tongue away when he tries to calm you down from fighting against him.
Yuji and Shimei were like the third wheel, seeing something they're not supposed to. It's like you and Sukuna were an old married couple that quarreled daily but still managed to fit into each other perfectly. Shimei's bubbling bitterness almost spilled out, but she held herself back. She reminded herself not to overdo it when that same smile she wore resurfaced. "It was nice meeting you both," Shimei then tugs on Yuji's arm, wanting to leave immediately. "But Yuji and I need to continue our date." Hauling onto Yuji again, they both disappear into the multitude of crowds.
Tumblr media
Sukuna had left you alone for a bathroom break when you were on your phone with your friend group chat, but three pairs of shoes entered your vision with a cane. Looking up from the glowing screen, a shift of intolerable feeling seizes you. "Can I help you guys?" They all wore baggy clothes, mainly grey and black, and tattoos crawling all over their body; not even their face was saved. But a sizeable noticeable red and black color of a Kingsnake snake tattoo was scribbled on the back of their left palm.
"You're (Name), right? The name is Majima." The middle one asked; he leaned down to your level, head cocking left and right, scrutinizing your appearances, "You're even cuter upfront and better than the photos." As he was about to cup your chin, you swat his eager hand away in disdain. Majima looks at his hand, not believing that you dared to do that, before switching his attention back at you. His curiosity grew.
"Please leave me alone," you inform them; the ever-growing feeling of discomfort that is spreading is hammering your flight or fight response. The three men were much more burly than you in size and height; if you were going to pick a fight, maybe taking one down is only your best shot.
"I think we should get to know each other better. Let's get out of here." He cooed at you, tried to reach for your chin again, and got the same response.
"What do you freaks thinks you're doing?" Sukuna showed up in time, anger glowering off of him slowly. You never felt a sweet relief from seeing Sukuna before.
The guy on the left tapped Majima on the forearm to grab his attention. Majima turns his head to see Sukuna, and his smile widens. "Nothing, my bad. You're with her?" Majima's back was from you, and he held his arm up in surrender, "I thought this pretty lady was alone. Didn't know she was here with a date."
You watch Majima limp away with his crew, and when he nears Sukuna, he bumps their shoulder with a fake apology. You saw the alter of Sukuna's face change but couldn't make it out what Majima had said to make him look so angry. This is the first time that you saw Sukuna losing his cool. You weren't sure if that indicated a dark road because of the gut feeling that this wasn't the first time Sukuna had met them.
"Sorry, are you okay?" Sukuna dissipates the rage once he nears you.
You: "Who are they?"
Sukuna: "Not important."
You didn't want to push the question further, seeing how he locks his jaws at the mention of them. "Let's go; fun is over." Sukuna, hold your hand and gives you a firm tug to follow him. One thing about today for Sukuna is that if Majima is here today, then it's something he's after, and he's not taking chances with you as his priority.
Tumblr media
Majima hides in the shadow, eyes glinting at the sight of you and Sukuna leaving, but his eyes linger the most on the way the both of your and Sukuna's hands interlace together. Like a red string of fate that he couldn't wait to cut. "Sukuna, just you wait; I will take what you value the most." Majima's eyes veer to his leg. The very leg that Sukuna had broke that night in the warehouse caused him to be the disabled man who is now relying on a came for the rest of his life.

genre: fluff with very very very slight angst
pairing: yuji itadori x female reader
warnings: none except for no punctuation and mentions of s3x.
Tumblr media
it was a simple flinch, yet the action alone was enough to make you upset. knowing that itadori would be hurt because of something you intentionally did, because of a foolish fear embedded deep within you, really stung. flashing a quick smile to cover up your 'mistake', you walked off, a pile of books clutched in your hands as you felt your heart drop further.
itadori, being the innocent lil boy he was, had no idea what was causing your lack of skinship, the lack of love you showed through actions towards him. at first, it made him slightly taken aback, yet he brushed away the thought of you not liking him. 'it's just because she's shy' he confidently said to himself everytime the thought struck him. 'it'll go away, just you see'.
yet his confidence came to an abrupt halt, the minute he felt you jerk away in alarm when he patted you on the back. that day, as you walked away, arms full of books, he could almost feel sukuna's roaring laugh at the clear rejection and it certainly didn't make him feel any better.
it wasn't until he had politely, yet with a small frown, said goodbye to megumi and gojo and tiredly plopped himself in his mattress, that he realised the issue. yawning, the small mouth of sukuna appeared on his cheek, chuckling immediately as itadori groaned. "not now, later". "later? but my dear friend, you are in desperate need of help. loser, can't even figure out why your own damn girlfriend doesn't want you?". "want me? she loves me, just as i do".
"don't know about you, loser, but lovers normally touch each other, y'know? or are you that much of a virg-", "no, i'm definitely not. says the old ass beast that probably hasn't gotten his d!ck touched in decades-". "least i'm older than you, you probably have no damn experience-".
the two sat in huffy silence, sukuna yawning once again, before disappearing. "no wait, come back", tapping his cheek hard, itadori, with a grumpy expression, realised he needed sukuna. screw pride, this was you. "tell me why she doesn't touch me". "touch you? if you're talking about that small ass d!c-", "no, i'm definitely- wait, you're right, we haven't even had slept with each other once, but that isn't what i was gonna ask. why does she flinch?".
silence as thick as mochi followed, followed by a small smirk forming on the mouth resting on yuji's cheek. "me, it's because of me". "you? you're about as insignificant as gojo sensei's stinky socks when it comes to my love life", itadori laughed at sukuna's grumblings, but couldn't deny the stab he felt when he heard his words. sukuna was right. it was because of him.
itadori practically waited for the sun to rise the next day, staring at the melting pot of warm colours painting the sunrise, determined to fix whatever problem you had with him. even as he tied his laces and tried styling his hair the best he could, he only thought about how you would react to his question as to how he could solve, the problem of sukuna.
"y/n! wait up", jogging a short distance to you, he laughed at your flustered expression. "h-hey yuji, how're you?". the two of you made small talk as you began wondering why your boyfriend hadn't yet made any attempt to touch you as per usual. it wasn't as though you wanted him to, it just felt different knowing he hadn't bothered to.
"yuji-", "y-n". the two of you stopped, you giggled, letting him go first. "sorry, you go ahead", smiling encouragingly, you stared at him intently, waiting for him to say; what you knew he would say sooner or later.
"y/n, i know this has been a bit of a problem between the two of us and i know you it will take us some time to solve it, but let's not ignore it and face it head on. it's sukuna, isn't it? that's why you're afraid of touching me?". looking away, in a defeated and slightly ashamed voice, you managed to whisper a feeble, "yes".
"i should've known sooner". you continued walking with him, watching ants pass by on the smooth concrete and trying your best not to look his way.
finally, as you heard the voices of nobara and the others chatting animatedly in the distance, you did what you'd been waiting to do for what felt like months, standing on you toes and pecking itadori's flushed cheeks, before hugging him tightly around the waist and quickly moving away. "yuji i know being in relationship with me is pretty annoying ..we don't do anything special, not even stuff as simple as kissing, but i'd like to thank you for being so patient with me".
taking a breath and taking the chance to look back at his reddening face, you mustered up all the courage you had in you. "yuji itadori, i wanted to let you know i-", "love you? silly, i already knew". letting out a soft scream, you felt your small frame being picked up like a feather by his muscular arms, a huge grin on his handsome features.
"i love you too, y/n".

I have a slightly complex question a lot of people want megumi to be saved but does he want to be saved he lost his sister his teacher is in the depths of darkness and another will be that if he is saved he doesn't go crazy and fall like suguru because his motivation which was his sister died and so did his teacher. Thank you for answering my question.
These are all valid questions and I saked them in my reviews too all the time.
For the development of the manga as it is right now, in the genre of fiction that is battle shonen, Megumi hasn't deserved his freedom yet. He has to fight for his freedom with his own two hands.
Per rule of manga, if Yuji manages to save him now Megumi will be somewhere in the realm of a vegetable like he was shown during the Gojo/Sukuna fight or something similar.
Tumblr media
Now that Megumi also has the de jure control of the merger something bad could happen through him when his mental state after awakening is really fucked up.
About all the bad things that happened to him and with his body as the culprit so why would he even want to fight back? There is a cheat code to that question.
Tsumiki.
Because her soul had already entered the manga 70 chapters ago and before the Yorozu reveal, made contact with Megumi and will do so again in the future. There will be some angst filled chapters from the moment where Megumi will appear again until he can talk with Tsumiki though. (Maybe with Maki fighting at that point as well, even Mai can help Megumi break free of Sukuna or whatver else will befell that boy.)
