Fourth. I’d have rather you just dmed me instead of this cause it feels really childish and knowing there’s still people in the rpg community with really bad intentions, takes, and mindsets like this makes it hard for others to take risks and chances on fic and muses that they interpret in ways that aren’t heteronormative or cis aligned. people interpret characters differently in more ways than just sexuality and it’s fluidity and that’s great, just let people exist how they feel comfortable to exist, they’re not hurting you.

lastly. this is fiction. these aren’t real life people my guy. none of this is deep enough to send messages like this. people create and write such amazing work here and you just trivialize it all to “eeeew girls are taking over cool characters and ruining my machismo vibes writing gay people having sex eeeeeew”

look guys i don’t like to argue but i hate it when people portray equius and nepeta like this:

equius is not her parental figure, and nepeta isn’t a fussy baby that can’t eat her fruits and veggies! equius isn’t some malicious evil guy, he’s just a stupid little teenager. that goes for eridan too (and i guess like, all of the trolls, but especially those two). nepeta’s not some innocent little baby. she’s the same age as all her friends. she kills huge wild beasts on the regular for consumption.

a lot of dubs i’ve seen, too, make nepeta sound like a toddler, and equius like a whole grown adult man, and i don’t really like it because neither of them are those things. (granted, i don’t watch too many dubs, so maybe i am wrong on this)

Steve tries to stay quiet while he gets ready for work, but Eddie hears him. He keeps his eyes closed and just listens- to Steve grumbling to himself when his hair doesn’t sit quite right, who starts to hum and whisper some catchy song. Eddie turns his sleepy gaze onto Steve as he shuffles around their room- watching quietly as he slips on his clothes, his shoes, a simple chain with Eddie’s ring around his neck. A warm, affectionate smile breaks across his face. Before he leaves, Steve glances at what he expects to be a sleeping Eddie, but instead, he’s met with a rasped, ‘Hey.’ Eddie sits himself up, stretches his arm across Steve’s side of the bed, and reaches, fingers wiggling. Steve crosses the room to cradle his face.

Their foreheads press, noses bump, and Steve brushes his fingers across scars and dimples.

He breathes a quiet,

‘Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you.’

Eddie huffs a tired laugh,

‘You know I never mind.’

Because, yeah.

Every morning Steve tries to stay quiet while he gets ready for work, but Eddie always hears him.
