Hiii good morning i was reading ur manager series and am totally in love with it specially the scenes where rin and reo decide to use their captain and rich-boy powers (the plushie one is my absolute fav) and i was wondering if i could request shidou and sae/kaiser/ness reaction to yns plushie or keychain? More than anyone else i wanna know shidous reaction🤭

"Blue Lock is really that big now?" Loki commented as him and a few of his teammates were in the changing room of PXG, looking at a phone.

"Yeah! My sister wanted to buy one of the plushies and the site crashed like 3 times."

"Geez. Blue Lock 11 have boy group level fame." One chuckled as Shidou walked in, confused with the commotion.

"What are you guys looking at?" The blonde asked as he walked up closer, with the teammate showing him his screen.

"The guys who beat you, Blue Lock have now merch. Every girl or guy I know won't stop talking about them. My sister ordered like a collection of these plush toys."

"Haha my brother ordered all the keychains." Shidou was amused at the revelation, taking a mental note to tease Rin about it later.

"My sister has been complaining how hard it was to get the (Y/n) plush toy version. Every time there was a restock it got like sold out in a matter of minutes."

Now that was something Shidou had great interest in. The manager of Blue Lock has plushies? Shidou wanted to laugh.

'Hah! This is gold! But why would anyone buy that? A smaller version of (Y/n)? The whole replica? Small and soft...' Shidou's thoughts wandered off and he felt giddiness the more he imagined the item.

"Shidou, where are you going? We still need to train?" Loki called out as the taller walked out.

"I need to make fun of Rin for that plush toy of his!"

"Not again." Loki sighed and facepalmed.

The same night Shidou went on the Blue Lock website, where he found the said plush toy of the girl, and with absolutely no 2nd thought bought it.

'So adorable~' The boy grinned.

'I think 10 of these are a reasonable number.'

Sae:

Once in a while Sae would travel back to Japan to visit Blue Lock and his brother. Although he spent most of the time around (Y/n), trying to get her to join Madrid as their manager. The idea itself would be shut down by not only (Y/n), but also by Rin, who by now wouldn't leave the girl's side if he was around. This visit was a little bit different though. Since it was holiday season, Ego and Anri has sent everyone home and Sae was bummed a little. His brother wouldn't tell him anything relating to (Y/n).

'Brat.' Sae would roll his eyes at Rin's glares and him telling the older how his manager was none of Sae's business. The two weeks in Japan went by pretty quickly and it was Sae's time to go back. His mom, dad and Rin would drive him to the airport.

"It's in Rin's room?" Sae asked as his mom nodded her head.

"Yeah, I left your scarf there on accident, can you please get it? We need to hurry up to the airport and Rin is already outside."

Sae sighed and nodded his head, walking to the familiar door.

Opening it, Sae immediately spotted his red scarf and went to take it, only to freeze up when he noticed something on Rin's bed. On it was a smaller and softer version of (Y/n) staring up at him. Sae stood there for a moment and then quickly walked to the bed, picking the item up.

Sae stared at the soft toy in awe, astonished with how detailed it was.

'She looks adorable... nearly as adorable as the real (Y/n)? Where did Rin even find this? And why us he so reckless with it...' Sae sighed, patting (Y/n)'s head over and over.

"Sae! Hurry up!"

He turned to the door as his mother called for him. Sae shook his head and put the plush toy in his backpack and then took his scarf.

"Since you refused to tell me anything, I am taking (Y/n) with me. She is too adorable for Rin, anyways."

The next day, Sae was in his room and hugging the plush toy, enjoying the softness.

'So cute... so soft... I wonder if the real (Y/n) is even better to hug.' Sae's moment of peace was interrupted by his phone ringing.

"Hello." He said, already knowing who it is. He has been ignoring Rin's calls ever since he landed in Madrid.

"You thief! Did you take her?!" Rin yelled, obviously upset that his plushie was missing.

"Yes. She is really soft." Sae taunted.

"You bastard! I will come to Madrid and beat your ass!" Rin threatened.

"Do it and I will tell (Y/n) you had this thing to begin with. Imagine how much easier it will be to get her on my club then." Sae smirked as he got no answer in return and ended the call.

'Mine.' He thought as he hugged the plushie closer to himself.

Kaiser:

"What are you even looking at, Ness?" Kaiser raised his eyebrow as he saw his teammate and close friend smiling down at his phone.

'He looks like a child in a candy store.' Kaiser thought as Ness looked up at him in surprise, before showing him his phone.

"My package arrived today! I can't wait till I pick it up." The boy admitted as Kaiser went over the tracking history.

"From Japan? What did you even get there?"

"Huh? You didn't see it?" Ness wondered, making Kaiser even more confused.

"See what? Stop talking in circles."

"Blue Lock just released new merch and restocks-"

"Ness... please don't tell me you bought merch from THEM?"Kaiser asked in disbelief. As far as he knew, the only person in Blue Lock Ness liked was (Y/n).

'But there is no way they made merch of her. It's always about the players, not managers.' Kaiser thought.

"There was a cute plushie of (Y/n) and her figurine as well as a keychain... I had to get it!" Ness defended with an embarrassed look.

"Hold up... there is merch of her?" Kaiser wondered as Ness nodded his head.

"Yes! The plushie looks so adorable, I can't wait till I hold it." Ness cheered while Kaiser went to look at the item.

"Hmmm..."

A few weeks later...

It was late at night in Japan as (Y/n)'s phone rang. Panicked and still dizzy from her sleep, she took her phone and answered it.

"Helloo?" She slurred out, wondering who it could be.

"What a day to be alive, you never told me you had merch!" Kaiser laughed from the other side.

"Kaiser? Do you even know how late it is here? And what about the merch?" (Y/n) asked, a little annoyed but she was too tired to argue.

"It's kinda cute that my little Liebling is a star now. Don't forget about me when your merch sells out." Kaiser laughed.

"Shut up! I want to sleep!" She yelled but Kaiser kept on going and (Y/n) was forced to listen to his talk for another 10 minutes.

Kaiser on the other hand was sitting in his living room as the (Y/n) plushie sat on his lap, getting headpats from time to time.

Ness:

Ness was honestly not expecting to fin anything interesting the evening after a training. It was honestly normal, he showered, ate his dinner and went on his phone, to see what Blue Lock were up to. In all honesty he just wanted to see if there were any pictures or video clips with (Y/n) in them. But instead of that, he found an announcement on new merch.

"Huh? Plushies, keychains and figurines?" Ness mumbled and opened the link, boredly scrolling down the site as all of them were from players.

"Boring-" Ness stopped himself as he saw a familiar shade of (h/c) hair and stopped. Blinking at the items that were displayed, Ness took in the plushie, keychain and figurine that was displayed of (Y/n), all tiny and adorable.

"I need this. I don't even know what I entered this site for again." Ness mumbled as she put the items into the cart.

"You bought it?!" (Y/n) yelled from the other side of the phone. Ness giggled and hugged the plushie of the girl.

"Yeah! You have no idea how soft it is! I have been hugging it ever since it came hours ago." Ness said as the line went quiet for a moment.

"...and what do you think? How is the merch of me?" (Y/n) asked nervously as Ness looked down lovingly at her plushie replica.

"It's cute! Very soft and I love how well detailed it is. It's nearly as cute as you."

"A-ah?! You think so?! I... I need to go now and talk with Ego-san over something! See you, Ness!"

"See ya~" Ness said and ended the call, then looked down at the plushie again.

"So cute..." He smiled, giving a small kiss to the toy's forehead.

my toxic trait is that i spend all my time brainstorming ways i could convincingly fit into my fav series instead of doing what i’m supposed to be. anyways so far here’s what i have for blue lock:

Reader is some kind of physical maintenence for the building: cook, janitor, repairman, etc. this leads to lots of funny shennanigans in the kitchen/storeroom/closets, forgetting to lock the doors, and the boys discovering a whole set of secret “STAFF ONLY” tunnels that are used for very non-staff purposes ;)

Bonus for this, because Blue Lock is an isolated building in the mountains, means Reader would likely have their own room or a dorm with fewer roommates. Do with that informations whatever you will. More specific subset, you’re the eletronics person responsible for meking Ego look cool during his presentations but making all the 3D models and stuff (idea from @/phen0l’s shitposting lol)

Physiotherapist or doctor/nurse. I anticipate a lot of Chigiri here (bc of his knee), but also a lot of working with England and Manshine City because of Chris Prince’s personal philosophy of “perfect body”

Publicity person, who’s hired after much of Ego’s grumbling sometime after the match vs the Japanese U20 team. Taking lots of pictures of the boys, editing, general staring for long hours into incredible handsome faces. Also potential for interactions with Sae? hmmmmm

The classic manager of a sports team. Probably works with Anri, wears a cute uniform, and gets a lot of harem/reverse harem action. A classic for a reason. Nice.

I came up with this one just now: Helicopter pilot! Or some other job that carts supplies in/out of Blue Lock. The boys gather on the roof to cheer you when you land and ask for gossip, snacks, and/or letters from their family.Probably treat you like a lost explorer returning from the Siberian tundra after two years away despite you coming in every week or so lol.

Note: I said helicopter because it looks kinda looks like a helicopter in the background of ch. 152 when they’re returning there. I checked again and in ch. 2, it’s actually just buses... much less dramatic :( but you could definitely still be a helicopter pilot bc Ego’s got a huge budget and probably wants the best stuff, as fast as possible, at any expense. Imagine them all cheering when you land and swarming you with hugs once you hop out, then waving like crazy when you take off Bachira

Related to once of the star players in the Neo Egoist League (I go into a bit more detail about Noel [here]). Would work the same as assistant coach, assistant, etc. Scaled up version of the classic manager. Maybe even Ego as a relative would work?

Fav and least fav vocal synths you've ever used go

idk if you mean just programs or an individual voicebank so im gonna do both. also counting commercial products that ive purchased only favorite program to use: vocaloid6 listen im a little vocalowhore and i started using v5 as my first editor so ofc im going to be BONDED to this program like no tomorrow least favorite program to use: synthv or cevio ai cevio ai has a completely different workflow than what im used to so thats why i havent quite made a cevio original yet. and im still not over like the first two years of when i had synthv studio pro and it would crash everytime i looked at it wrong favorite voicebank to use: luo tianyi v4 chn (just her normal her power sux) or yuzuki yukari v4 (all of her banks) tianyi and yukari both have really unique tones which is probably why i keep coming back to them plus ive tuned them so much at this point i feel like i can make them sound good effortlessly

least favorite voicebank to use: sonika or eleanor forte ai putting a v2 feels like a copout because its an old software but genuinely compared to the other v2 voicebanks available sonika was the hardest for me to tune which is why i made cocoa tune most of her in theory of i lol. i put eleanor as an example of a recent product i struggle to use because i just cannot make her sound good and she sounds like she's in a constant state of pooping herself honorable mentions: sweet ann for being the best english vocaloid ever, anri for being the demo vocal in all my songs before i pick a vocalist, kyo for being the go-to male voice, and marie ork for being my favorite ever (i know her alter ego is free i am just a marie ork enthusiast)

Since I mostly focus on writing family headcanons, I thought I'll do an event including that!

How it works: you tell me your favourite Blue Lock ship(s) in my asks and I will write headcanons or scenarios about them as parents! i'm gonna be performing in denver's kohaku uta gassen in january, and i still haven't decided on what to sing, so i figured i'd ask y'all! below is a poll and also the songs in question (plus some pros and cons for each)

Kimi o nosete - the ending theme to castle in the sky. pros: ghibli, also my fav movie ever, can be sung in the original octave or a lower octave. cons: the original octave may be a little too high for me. like i can get up there but it's tricky.

Ue o muite arukou - a classic kyu sakamoto song. pros: the old people will probably like it, also in my range. cons: i can't do the whistling bit consistently. i could find a karaoke track that has the whistling part, but it's cooler if i do it.

Kawa no nagare no you ni - a classic misora hibari song, also often sung at the uta gassen broadcasted on NHK. pros: the old people will also probably like it. cons: it's a little difficult to switch between the low lows and the high highs. also maybe ppl would be like why is this man singing a woman's song

Teo Torriatte - it's Queen! what more can i say. pros: it's Queen, it's classic, the old people will probably like it, too. cons: the organizers prefer japanese songs, so idk if a mix of english and japanese would be alright. a guy last year did a song like that so maybe it's fine.

Kanashimi ga tomaranai - by Anri, one of my most fav city pop songs ever. pros: i know most of the lyrics, so learning the rest wouldn't be too hard and it's still in my range. cons: maybe some of the folks would be confused with a male singer singing in a woman's range lol.

Country Roads - specifically, the japanese version from the end of Whisper of the Heart. pros: also ghibli, and my second fav. cons: i know this song the least out of the 6

Well, I am glad you could do it! As well, this is probably the second combo I find very interesting (of characters), for reason that are obvious (4/5 of them are underrated characters)!

First things first: overthinking does not help you. Once the die is cast, the decision is made then it is all set, and you can try and change it all you want but some things are meant to be one-time only things. Learn to appreciate things as they come: erasing and adjusting the drawing sometimes makes it just uglier.

Yeahhh I think a lot of names do end with “i” I think the letter for the sounds “ri” is probably one of the most common letters for naming which factors into that also YEAH I love looking at characters names because I think the naming convention for media characters usually follows like making up names that allude to something about the character rather than typical naming conventions so picking out those little hints is always fun LOL chigiris first name is a combo of the word for panther (umbrella term for large cats that aren’t lions or tigers) and horse as ref to his running! Bachira’s name is a mix of bee and fun which also fits LOL and otoyas first name also has the word shadow! Nobaras last name (jjk) also has the character for nail in it in ref to her ct and nanamis name phonetics also sound like 7 3 which also references his technique LMAO anyways I’ll stop here before I start writing an entire essay on this but yes tldr very common indeed

LMAAOAO I lost it when I heard it but yeah!! They’re both from the Kansas region so their overall dialect is the same. There’s some slight differences between the different prefectures within the region on specific words and stuff but generally when you hear them they’d just be categorized as having the same accent! I wanna say the difference is kinda similar to the different types of British accents that exist based off different regions/areas where they all sound British but there’s slight nuances and whatnot so the fact that Karasu barely has an accent compared to hiori makes me laugh so hard

Sound at the 57th Venice Biennale (2017)

Guide to sonic works in the 57th edition of this international art exhibition. Titled VIVA ARTE VIVA and curated by Christine Macel, chief curator of Paris's Centre Pompidou, La Biennale di Venezia is open from May-November 2017.

Couldn't help but put a few other non sound things in here too…

This years Golden Lion winner is the German pavilion - artist Anne Imhof has choreographed an epic performance, between five and seven hours in length and ever changing, where you walk on a glass floor with millennials trapped underneath. During my visit they threw themselves against the floor, dejectedly hosed down the glass separating us from the performers, one escaped and climbed the imposing fence outside… An extremely bleak view.

The French pavilion for the Venice Biennale has been transformed by Xavier Veilhan and the pavilion’s curators, Christian Marclay and Lionel Bovier, into a musical space in which professional musicians from all over the world work throughout the duration of the exhibition. The producer shuffled around inside the fishbowl studio whilst I was there - not much sound coming out and it all felt a bit insanely privileged - massive money music studio being a far cry from what most of us work with, and who knows where the results of what the musicians have created will go.

Lots of cool things in the Korean pavilion. My fav was a small room full of clocks, all set at different speeds. Voices that seem to come from behind the clocks tell you how long it takes each person, name and profession inscribed on the clock, to earn a meal.

Not entirely sure what was happening in the Russian pavilion - dark, light, space, projections, subterranean lair with an app that makes naked figures appear… Lable says 'Baudrillard's silent majority, intimidated by power and terrorists'. I can hear eerie voices and mechanical hiss.

Radical act in the Canadian pavilion - most of roof gone and water spurting everywhere. Got wet listening to lovely sounds of water chiming and enjoyed watching visitors hop around to avoid new streams.

In the Greek pavilion - how much of this is real? I'll never know. Strange videos of scientists with ethics under question. Guided round a maze by eerie recorded voices. Either I'm a genius or it wasn't a real maze though as walked straight through it, no wrong turns.

Arsenale

Drumming the water - reviving the tradition with locals of the Atrato river, a work by Marcos Avila Forero. Really nice thoughtful film, about how we lose our traditions and history through globalisation. Showed a seemly futile struggle as locals attempt to revive tradition of drumming with water with varying degrees of managing to keep in time between bursts of annoyance and disheartenment. Nice community spirit came through.

Moves like an insect, slowly creeping across the wall. A music box plays the wallpaper, transforming visual motifs into sounds. A work by a Anri Sala.

Audio cassettes made for women by religious leaders, to tell them how they should act. Visually impactful - the array of tapes is fitted to the wall on bread dishes to spell out poignant words in Arabic - 'temptation', 'forbidden', 'struggle'. Saudi artist Maha Malluh says that she doesn't create new objects, believing that the world has already produced enough, many of which are discarded.

The city plays itself. No humans required as Nevin Aladag leaves instruments to create sound by themselves. Artist dealing with re-appropriation of public space and sound creation, setting the city up to become the voice of it's absent inhabitants.

Always interested in broken pianos and all they symbolise… Small man with axe destroys piano amongst other things in Liliana Porter's work.

Enjoyed this activist performance work - shouting messages across the city about public vs private space, home, and freedom to wander. Pavilion transformed into a moving stage. In defence of nomadism - collective actions in the Spanish pavilion.

Murmuri - a work by Eva Ariza in the Andorra pavillion.

Investigating the boom of the 'charity single' as a symbol of globalisation of pop music and rise of 'neo liberalist aspirations'.' Songs for Disaster Relief sound lounge by Samson Young in the Hong Kong pavilion.

Five artists collaborate through image, film, sculpture and sound to question the future of Mongolia.

Deeply moving work - my favourite of the Biennale. Artist subjects himself to limits of endurance through 'one year performances'. In the first, he clocks on to a worker's time clock every hour, day and night, for one year. In the second, he takes no shelter - spending a year outdoors. Heartbreaking film accompanying the relics of these performances showing his treatment whilst sleeping outdoors, including as police force him indoors whilst under arrest. I shed a tear.
