so 90 Day Glee-ancé is a Concept Living Rent Free in my Brain that's basically just my favorite garbage reality TV show 90 Day Fiancé but what if we stuck glee characters in it. so, in order to explain 90 Day Glee-ancé, I need to explain 90 Day Fiancé.

90 Day Fiancé focuses around engaged couples where one partner is American and the other is from a different country. these couples have decided they want to live together in the U.S., so American partner brings their fiancé to the states on a K-1 Visa, which gives the couple 90 days to get married once their fiancé arrives in the U.S. if they don’t get married within 90 days, partner has to go back to their home country.

sounds reasonable and doable, right?

no!

in general, no one has anything wedding-related planned before their fiancé gets there, so everything is rushed.

and that's usually not the only issue! no, most of the couples come with plenty of other issues. for example: language barriers, trust issues, tensions between fiance and family, the worst communication you have ever seen, etc etc. some of these couples are some of the most toxic people you have ever seen, but some are actually very stable and move past their issues and get married.

there can be. So Much. Drama. and it’s amazing.

so. what if we put glee characters in that kind of situation? they all come with plenty of their own drama too. and it is so fun to watch them figure out their relationships. I have a whole list of (potential) couples and some of their possible Dramas in my 90 day glee-ancé doc. it's chaos.

oh, also !! because it would involve lots of different couples and their different storylines, if this were to be a realized fic, I think it would be fun to collaborate with other writers to make it happen. so no one gets overwhelmed with writing the entire fic <3

A ficlet coda to Starship Iris season 2 episode 1

A/N: I was going to go to sleep, but then this idea for a ficlet crept into my head and I wrote that instead xD It's a short silly coda to Starship Iris season 2 episode 1, which came out today! It does contain spoilers (not huge ones out of context, but enough to give away some of the interesting bits) so beware if you haven't listened to it yet!!

After the Shopping List of Hopes and Dreams™ (Science Officer Liu's name, trademark contributed by Crewman Jeeter) has been assembled in all its dream-filled glory, Krejjh decides to take Captain Tripathi up on her suggestion to get some rest. Their ears perk up when Brian follows them to back to their shared room. "Joooooining me for a nap, Crewman Jeeter?"

Brian is looking thoughtful. "Mmm, I'm not sure if I'm gonna sleep yet - I just keep thinkin' about that Dwarnglish audio."

Krejjh smiles to themself. Their passionate fee...ancé. (Krejjh is pretty sure they got the sounds in the right order that time). "Remind you of Neuzo?"

"Heh, yeah, not really the *good* parts of Neuzo though," Brian laughs. "But I really wanted to try and start untangling it. Just see what I can translate for starters - even though it's kinda difficult without the context and gestures, but a basic word-by-word translation would be something."

They've stopped in front of the door to their room, and Krejjh grandly gestures for Brian to go in first. "Sounds good; you can tell me all about what you've found when I wake up." The door whooshes open, and Brian leads the way into their room.

"I'm not really sure what's happened to my headphones, though," Brian muses. "So I was thinking that I might just play it aloud? I mean, just a few times - you don't mind, right?"

Krejjh stops still, halfway into their room. They distinctly feel both of their eyes on the right side twitch.

"Krejjh?" Brian looks round, seeming confused as to why they've stopped. "Is something wrong?"

"Crewman Jeeter, you know I love you very much," says Krejjh, deadly serious. "But you are not playing a syllable of that recording out loud in our room. Not again. I'd rather-"

They stop short when they spot the beginnings of a huge grin on Brian's face. Brian, kneeling down by their bed, holds up his pair of headphones. "Only messing with ya, bud. Sorry, I couldn't resist."

Krejjh stares for a second before bursting out laughing. "Crewman Jeeter, you are the worst and I'm revoking your snuggling privileges," they declare.

"Aww, really?"

Krejjh pretends to consider it for all of two seconds. "Nah. Come here!"

So far this age means: can't hold my liquor as well as I used to, bones crack more, i don't got time for ANYTHING
