Shelf update!!! I have this new dollie Anastasia (Top shelf, far right) and she's a total darling!!! But because of Anastarzia Anaquway I keep miss pronouncing her name as Anastarzia lol, not mad about it tho!! I'm thinking Ana or Stasie for her nickname, but apparently Ana is like a bad thing on here (My friend said so lol, idk why) so I might stick with Stasie just incase, + Stasie sounds like Daisy and Daisy is one of the cutest names like EVER!!

Okay so it's come to my attention that people in other countries don't know what all of the theme boxes mean in the first design challenge of CDR S1 so I'm your Canadian mom friend who's come to help you understand wtf is going on

Juice Boxx -- MuchRusic Video Prance

Okay I couldn't really find a Wiki or anything laying everything out about this particular topic and I'm a '96 baby so please be nice if I get anything wrong on this one

Back in the 80s, Canada's answer to MTV was MuchMusic in English-speaking regions and MusiquePlus in French-speaking regions (although there's been a MuchMusic USA and an MTV Canada so idk whatever). MuchMusic used to host dances at various high schools all over called MuchMusic Video Dances. The MM "headquarters" was in Toronto so idk if it was only in (southern) Ontario or if they had the dances in other parts of the country. I never went to one, but I remember my older friends (like, 2 years older, so I was in grade 9 when they were in grade 11) talking about one, and my understanding is that it was like a regular dance except they played music videos on a giant screen instead of just plain music, and your school had to win one so it wasn't like homecoming or prom where you knew you would get one every year, making it extra special to attend a MuchMusic Video Dance. Juice Boxx got scrunchies in her box to give those 90s/early 00s vibes but I think the dances still happened into the mid 2010s, when the channel's name got shortened down to Much in 2013.

The name of the box is a pun on "Anne of Green Gables", the name of a book about a red-headed orphan getting adopted and moving into a house with a green roof. The box overall is themed after Prince Edward Island, the province where Anne of Green Gables takes place and is also famous for its Cavendish potatoes. There's actually a tourist attraction in PEI that recreates the Green Gables farm and I went there when I was 9 years old!

Ilona Verley -- Muskokurrrrr

Muskoka is a municipality in Ontario that's a couple hours north of Toronto. There's a ton of lakes there so lots of people have cottages in Muskoka.

Lemon -- Jock Scraps

I don't know how this is meant to be a Canadian theme. Like, is the box supposed to be Canadian sports? Yes, hockey is obviously a large part of her final look, but is badminton not as popular in other countries? Not that it's a particularly popular sport here either so idk

Jimbo -- Rain-blow It Up

The theme here is clearly gay pride. Again, I'm not sure how this is specific to Canada. Perhaps it's a reference to Canada getting nationwide gay marriage before the States did.
