Louis might not be chucking bricks at No. 10, but people are responding like he’s never displayed leftist politics or challenged a government position on anything. He supported demands to the government about a fix for UK touring musician post Brexit and Marcus Rashford’s petition about food insecurity. He fought the police about their social media use in 2018 and criticised the UK government position/support for factory workers in the pandemic. The things he speaks about are usually UK issues and meaningful to him or his family and friends. He’s also most likely to speak when he isn’t working. Also that specific anarchy has a punk anti authoritarian message as well. That statement fits Louis pretty well. He has been a poster boy for not sitting down and shutting up and doing what you’re told since 2012. If he was he probably wouldn’t have a solo career and he definitely wouldn’t have sold out the O2.
I like this point about him speaking out more when he's not working, I think that's a really great and useful observation and makes so much sense. I feel like it makes sense in two ways right now: like first, I don't blame him for not wanting to do things that would jeopardize how beautifully everything is going for him right now after the number of setbacks and troubles he's had to get here, it must feel so precarious. And knowing for a fact that any political statement you make will spawn a dozen tabloid stories and all kinds of outrage is bad enough, but add to that the fact that it's simply impossible to predict which thing will turn into a huge viral mess- it's a lot. And second, he's not just working, he's been on TOUR! I've been around musicians my whole life and one constant is that tour is time outside of normal time and life, it's a bubble, it's only paying attention to right where you are and what's in front of you and the people there with you and everything else is put off and neglected, is for when you get home (and have massive post tour letdown depression and fatigue). I'm not saying he can disconnect with the outside world entirely... but putting everything on pause? I would be surprised if it were any other way, and I would be surprised if he's been following the news and counter news and so forth closely enough to feel comfortable speaking out publicly about anything when it will be so scrutinized and picked apart. I would add to your list supporting the rail strike (something we wouldn't even know about if it hadn't been tossed in as an aside by an interviewer in the print only version of a piece, he didn't post about it or anything) and attending and posting about the BLM protests (not to mention telling people to pirate his stuff come on how punk is that), and I agree he is much more likely to speak out about UK issues which makes sense: most people are most moved by issues that are close to their lives in some way, and it's his brand. And I agree that even though as an anarchist I love talking about what anarchism as a political ideology actually is, the symbol does also have a common meaning in the world as just basically standing for anti-authoritarianism, and Louis as a guy who rejects authority and the status quo is nothing new at all and one of the reasons we love him, and in the last few years I feel like he's been going further in that direction both aesthetically and politically, and we love to see it! Plus he has pretty much always sported this slightly punky aesthetic to some degree, even when he was being dressed up like a little ken doll he snuck in skater looks and indie band tees and so forth (something something it's part of why his fanbase was so primed to love his new sound and it wasn't the risk he feared it was because people were always drawn to him who were already into that aesthetic even when his sound wasn't that yet) it's not like it's just a brand new out of nowhere side of him or something.

Season of the Tailor
Tumblr media
Hi! I've been working on this little fan project of mine that pretty much summarizes what I'd love to have in Destiny 2 at the moment. So, I'm going to make a presentation in several posts. This is what will await you this month. I'm also still working to add more to it, while I have time and the passion :) Let's start!
What has been made?
Zlatah-7 as the new Annex vendor, new story, gambit map and many other things in store.
Tumblr media
New vendor
You know Zlatah-7. This is perhaps my most detailed original character that I've ever had. And now I made a concept of his little nook in the Annex and designed him. In season of the Tailor Zlatt will have a major role. He will assist you in making exotic ornaments out of synthweave for your legendary and exotic armor, so that everyone can have even more options with their own fashion. Outside of that, he will also teach you how to use the Needlepillow - the new artifact for this season. It will let you get into places that no one invited you to. No need for the Ascendant Plane.
Story
Tumblr media
Season of the Tailor takes time in the second half of the Defiance and the first half of the Deep. You will learn more about corruption of guardians by the Taken energy. While there is still the need to fight the Shadow leagion and secure their prisons, there is also a need in more people to help this situation. And, perhaps, a new technology. Drifter will assist you with the people. Ada and Zlatt will assist you in the latter.
Gambit Prime returns!
Tumblr media
It's been a while since last fashionable and explosive fight like this. It's time to remember this bloodthirsty action with Zlatah-7. With him you'll have more cool guns, cool armor and even cool locations. Face that Tailor's path.
Tumblr media
This is Zlatt's ship, politely requested by the Drifter to use for Gambit's Prime comeback! I hope, you like disco. There's enough place to even watch a movie. Take a seat, relax and get ready for "Snakebite." New action detective from Neomunian Directors with the starring our SRL champions: Marcus Ren, Enoch Bast and Ariadna Gris playing the roles of Detective, Lieutenant and The Snake.
Tumblr media
This movie will let you find out more about Neomuni art and their style. It tells us a story about three people from the Golden Age. They follow each other in the seeking of the Diamond stolen by the Snake. Who will win in this race: The Law or The Anarchist?
What else?
Zlatt's lore and the lore of others'.
Tumblr media
"Rifle with coward bullets" is a lore book of Zlatah's travel from the beggining of his life in the Dark age to the period of being a Shadow of Calus and betraying him before he meets The Drifter. The Book will be soon available on Ao3 both in english and russian. Several chapters a day it will come to the end. But that's not the end for the writing. There will be glimpses of lore on the armor of the Gambit Prime, guns, artifact and exotic loot. All of it will be posted. In time.
SOON... Snakebite armor for gambit prime, "Universe" title, The Needlepillow, the new exotic sniper rifle - The Lamb
I'll be posting more of this here and on my twitter (TMGefan). This will be a ride :D

I was thinking because of my last character, and I have found that, when it comes to romance in tabletop RPG, I have three... Rather distinct (opposite?) types of characters:
Full aroace. Cases in point: Liada (PF1e), my half-elf paladín turned Swashbuckler that was in the party to save Korvosa from her tyrannical queen, and had several people interested in her, some of them ended up really heartbroken; and Inna (Anima Beyond Fantasy), an anarchist with pyrokynetic powers who was too small for the claymore she used, but used her psychic powers to wield it with ease enhancing her strength, there was a harem around her, but she never got any hints and was never interested in any romance, freedom of the people was far more important and left no time to think about that.
Full whore. For instance, Jan (7th Sea), a skald from Vesten who was able to make a pact with some demon that was in love with him, but he never realized it, since he was too busy bedding noble ladies and whoever wanted (which led to jealousy and a peasant uprising in Montaigne); and Charles (Hunter the Vigil), a CS with a doctor degree, who was chasing the vampire he bedded for months because she killed his best friend, a mage he also bedded for months (he did not know about their supernatural conditions), and wanted revenge... But was seduced again by her when they met again, which almost cost him the trust of the cell; Vesnia (PF1e), a shackleborn (tiefling with velstrac/kyton ancestry) who was adopted by a couple of Calistrian elves who worked as prostitutes and from whom she learned the ways of Calistria and also worked as a prostitute who enjoyed her job, but at the same time, was starting to follow the way of a vigilante in order to protect the dispossessed of a city ruled by diabolists and thieves (this character was particularly shocking for my group, since they always saw me as a rather modest person who never talked about sex or anything like that, and this girl always made sexual innuendos or full fuck proposals). I also had a human bard in a Dragon Age TTRPG game I played, who did not reject any lovers, and who had a couple STD checks, but I don't remember his name, since it was too many years ago.
UwU. Neiva (PF1e), cleric of Abadar, who was in almost teenage love (she was barely an adult) with Marcus Endrin, captain of the Sabre Guard (in fact, she was rather autistic -like, most of my characters, because, well, they're mine-, with a Marcus Endrin as her favorite person and special interest, so she seemed like a fangirl); Abigail (PF1e), a changeling with a martyr complex who followed a strict goddess in her fight against evil, who only felt infatuated once with a dude who was the only person in her village who didn't despise her and just ignored her, who died at the hands of a demon, where she found her call to follow Vildeis and chase away evil, just to find Daeran, who got interested in her because of her self-righteousness and teased her constantly because she got nervous around him and around sex talk, just to fall in love with him and wanted to get closer before dying at the hands of a vampire. Her tale is still going on, and she's just... shy and in her most devious and obscene thoughts, Daeran is princess carrying her or walking by her side holding her hand.
There have been other characters I've played, but relationships weren't on the plate on those games, so I don't know how would they have felt about them. I'd like to know what would people who find patterns in OC think about this.

This week and last week my reading circle went over a 2006 essay by the anarchist philosopher Todd May, titled Michel Foucault's Guide to Living. (Searchable on Anna's Archive) In it, he asks: what is left to us, as philosophers? In a day when philosophy is tamed, chained to the institution of the university and at the mercy of state funding, when any advancements within it seem less and less relevant to people's lives, how do we find meaning in what we do?
In exploring this question, he compares the Stoic philosopher and Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius' text Meditations, a compilation of privately penned reflections on life, to the writings of Michel Foucault. The Meditations, he says, are meant as a spiritual exercise; entry after entry presents the same short, concise ethical principles over and over again, with reflections on how to adhere to these lessons in the face of a complex society of people who all want you to bend to their way of living and thinking, a way to return yourself to a core set of values as the world constantly tries to lead you astray.
Conversely, Michel Foucault was a philosopher who rejected the idea of ethics, the idea that there was one correct way to live. Instead his philosophy is focused on aesthetics, the art of living, of constructing your life as a piece of art, of formulating your personal truth and expressing it in its utmost form. Could we perhaps extract spiritual exercises from Foucault's philosophy, then, that allow us to orient ourselves towards such a self-formulated cause, to dedicating ourselves to exploring personal truth, and in doing so finding a new way for philosophy to exist within our lives?

honestly if i liked writing stories id write an fnv fanfic that centers around the anarchist ending in which the characters become community leaders and try to mediate disputes and promote community based problems to living in a wasteland. like im imagining that w/ the NCR farmers gone the westside co-op can expand and move in to their fields and produce even more.
cass could work w/ marcus and the other citizens of jacobstown to get trade lines running btwn them and the rest of the mojave so they can export their bighorner meat and get produce from westsides co-op.
but thered also be drama bc heck gunderson and the strip families still exist who may try to enforce even worse power structures now that there arent any laws. and also security issues w/ the collapse of the fascist regime in the east and the other groups in new vegas that like using violence and wouldnt wanna incorporate.
god i wish someone else would write this, when i browse ao3 rlly the only post canon explorations i see are if the legion won. and those get. so weird.

there was a look beneath the mask - everyone there knew it. the signature 'don't say a fucking word' look ( tm. copyright symbol ). but, when did that ever matter to Wrench? to his hacker, his anarchist bastard, and husband?
welcoming Wrench in the doorway with DedSec waiting. a quiet affair for them - not like Defalt's usual parties. but something with "friends" and a robot shaped cake. "Happy Birthday, slut."
Wrench's birthday, his real birthday, had always been an affair with DedSec. Not the kind of affair he pretended to prefer, explosions and gunshots and drugs lacking, but the kind he probably needed more than he care admit - friendship, and cake, and laughter and love. The things he'd been living all his life before them, the things he'd never known he'd lacked until DedSec's entry into his life.
Getting older had hardly changed that. Sure, the parties were quieter, there was less fuckery and more sensibility, less insanity and more responsibility, but they were still what they had always been - were still always exactly what he needed. His found family filling a lot of that big hole in his life that he'd never acknowledged, pretended always to not see.
A lot of the hole, but not all of it. Something... Something missing, he'd never really known what, until just then. Standing dumbfounded in the doorway as his unmasked face turns to look at DedSec - his family - and then back to the masked face of his - his - His person. His lover and friend. Husband and bastard. The one fucking person who had scooped his stupid ass off rock bottom, and kicked it back into gear.
Fuck him. Reggie isn't going to cry, but he is going to grin. He is going to outright ignore the look he knows is under the rat mask. He is going to throw both his arms around the other man, in front of everyone, and press a pretty gross and wet kiss to the flat face of the mask. "Thanks, whore. Hope this isn't my only gift."
And with that? With a wicked grin, and a cheeky wink? He's off to tackle-hug Marcus into a playfight, leaving the absolute love of his life to contemplate his life choices.

The Gang Being Brother’s Part. 2
Marcus, watching Stan being absolutely insane: Is he stupid?
Barry, not even looking up from his book: Yes, but he prefers to be called Stan.
------------------
Marcus, trying to figure something out: The odds of this happening by coincidence are vanishingly small.
Barry, nodding along: I would say infinitesimally.
Stan, feeling left out: And I'd say teenily-weenily. We all know words.
Marcus, confused: Teenily? ...Don’t you have a major in communications Stan?
Barry, also confused: He does. Did you just say-
Stan, slightly panicked: Look, as I said, we all know words, let’s just move on.
------------------
Barry: What are you writing?
Stan: The government wants to know what kind of weapons we have in the house. I'm letting them know it's private information.
Marcus, looking over Stan's shoulder: This just says 'fuck around and find out' in calligraphy.
Barry: So we’re gonna go back to jail. Bloody brilliant, I’ll start packing now.
------------------
Barry, exhausted after staying awake for 3 days straight: Do you think different paints have different tastes?
Stan, playing video games: They do.
Marcus, suddenly very worried about both of them: ...Stan, why did you say that with complete bloody confidence?
------------------
Marcus, running into the garage apartment: WHY. Why did you give STAN a KNIFE?!
Barry, just sitting on the couch: I'm sorry. He said he felt unsafe.
Marcus: Now I feel unsafe!
Barry: I'm sorry.
Barry, reaching for his bag: ...Would you like a knife?
Marcus: That will not help the- STOP GIVING OUT KNIVES MATE!
------------------
Stan, going through the kitchen cupboards: Who thinks I can fit 15 marshmallows in my mouth?
Marcus, cooking dinner: You're a hazard to society
Barry, pulling out his phone: And a coward. DO TWENTY.
Marcus, sighing: Do not.
------------------
Marcus, watching Stan scheme to beat Johnny in Clue: Stan, I am questioning your sanity...
Barry, raising an eyebrow: I never questioned it, I knew his sanity was missing from the start.
Marcus, rolling his eyes: Yeah, yeah, Stan, come off it mate, you do know the lad’s only 9 right?
Stan, manically: I. Don’t. Care. He’s won every damn time and that’s not even possible!
Marcus, whispering to Barry: You told Johnny the cards, didn’t you?
Barry, grinning: And I’m gonna keep doing it til Stan breaks.

Beyond Good and Evil
It’s come to my attention that I may be evil.
A weaponized and naive notion of propaganda, mixed with moral absolutism has caused many people to throw huge swaths of humanity and the strawman versions of their morality or ideology into the camp of absolute evil. It’s always us vs them, isn’t it? I got into some kind of argument where I ended up being treated as some kind of charicaturized version of the idiot yuppie naive swindled evil soft godless leftist environazi that I may represent in the minds of others. To some, I am the posterchild of evil, especially because I am not shy about speaking my mind- spreading the devil’s seeds of deception.  I am the deluded one who has been bathing in propaganda.
It was very telling to me in that I had been painting these foolish stubborn backwards ecocidal fundamentalist assholes with an oddly similar brush.  I even let myself feel afraid of the alt-left anarchistic anti-natal “antiracist” misanthropics that are willing to throw every baby out with the bathwater. Or of course the truly deplorable “neo-nazis” that are allegedly everywhere, rioting, killing, pillaging. For the radical, even you are a brainwashed bootlicker. Truly these people are evil, right?
First radicalized with the perception of environmental degradation, I found solidarity with the environmental movement, then the psychedelic movement, the posthumanists, moral relativistic deconstructionist and nihlistic philosophers of the current age. I’m all for a free expression of consciousness that is dignifying for people and the planet. You say you want a revolution? Well if what you’re talking about is violence, you’re going to have to count me out.
Most people are starting to see the cracks forming in our society’s foundation as growing problems rear their ugly head in droves with solutions constantly blocked by the bogieman of your choosing - is it the brainwashed left or the brainwashed right? Is it the rich or is it the politicians? Is it your neighbor? Anyone but me, once radicalized, of course. It’s easy to end up in perpetual exasperation with the dizzying paradox of everything changing and nothing changing fast enough.
You want to take down the Borguouse?  Don’t chase red herrings. Divide and conquer, as the old saying goes. A binary view of evil and defining outgroups through tribalism is the most effective way to stunt change or to ensure unintended or civillian casualties (figuratively or literally). Even Liberals are guilty of tribalism and redifining outgroups. I do believe that a binary view of morality will cause hatred and division by default- at best, it will convey easy answers to hard questions that really ought to be wrestled with for one’s own sake. As Socrates once said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
Yin and Yang is about how everything has aspects of good and evil in it, and that any ideology brought to its logical extreme has severe negative consequences. As Marcus Aurelius said; “Men were born to be in service to one another.” If we are part of the same body (as it also says in the Bible) then why would one hand strike the other?” We are trying to push a leaning tower of a society, and it seems like taking a balanced or weak stance will mean the tower will topple right onto our heads.
It’s easy for me to say that what we consider as right and wrong is mostly convention, as someone with a very laissez-faire and impersonal view of the divine influence on our human development. My ideas are a hodgepodge of Charlie Darwin and the Dada artists, Nietzsche, and of course the most controversial and brilliant pieces of post-modernist cinema such as Rick and Morty. We came from monkeys and our society has been left to figure it out on our own. The beliefs we hold dear are some sort of hodgepodge of whatever worked and whatever other people were saying - as the old sayings go -  “Might makes right,” and “Truth is whatever your friends let you get away with saying.” The irony here is that deconstructionism, moral relativism and absolute skepticism are the kinds of hip-and-trendy platitudes of the self-described intellectuals of the 21st century. Contrarianism is another common way to come to firmly held beliefs. Do we come to our beliefs naturally, or was Calvinism right after all?
So I want to try and redefine propaganda, as redefining is a post-modern deconstructionist thing to do- propaganda is often a logically consistent simplification of an issue that relies on omission or downplaying of certain truths and exaggeration of other truths to create a desired outcome in the induvials exposed to that message. Sometimes these messages are spread by so called grassroots organizations or well meaning individuals. Sometimes the messages or the desired outcomes could be for your good or the common good, sometimes it is for some stupid distraction or a culture war.  To reiterate  - often there is perception of real problems in so called propaganda or deluded and radicalized groups. A lack of mutual trust and putting up divisions between groups is where the real problem lies. It may help to consider both sides of an issue. It may help to ask if you may be vilifying other groups - even that particular group that you may think deserves to be vilified. EVEN THEM. The challenge is humanizing the people who have been dehumanized, putting a face behind the person that is the posterchild of your outrage.
We all love a good villain because it makes a confusing world so much simpler. Some people bemoan the rising popularity of the anti-hero or the humanizing of villains in television such as Disney’s (tm) Maleficent, or even villainless films such as Encanto, but I really think it’s time for a hard think. We generally only have enemies if they think we are their enemy and vice versa. Learn to communicate before you escalate.  Mutual trust and cooperation is preferable to mutual distrust. See the prisoner’s dilemma or Friend Or Foe. I don’t really believe that there are evil people or evil nations. Only through ignorance and lack of trust or respect do injustices occur, most people think they are acting out of their own self interest. I recommend vigilence against easy answers to tough moral questions, and avoiding vilifying your neighbor. Who really is evil?

Acknowledgements & Footnotes
For over 30 years I have acted, debated and conversed with other anarchists. Throughout my life I have read the words and listened to the voices of numerous philosophers, poets, fighters, friends, and neighbors. I can’t see any use in trying to sort out exactly who said what or in trying to locate the passages in books where some of my ideas, influences and even expressions might originate from. I believe I have taken each idea and phrase and made it my own.
But there are specific people I would like to acknowledge as having contributed a great deal to the formation of my outlook, either through their writing or in conversations and friendship. So, in gratitude, thank you to Corinne Bjorge, Karl for his exceptional lucidity, John Zerzan, Wolfi Lanstreicher, Fredy Perlman, Jane Venter, Matsuki Masutani, Zig Zag, Michael William, Jason McQuinn, and David Watson.
An extra thanks is in order to Aragorn! for his many inspiring projects and the extraordinary support and recommendations he made when this collection was originally imagined. Special appreciation to JennVicious at Black Powder Press for her invaluable editing suggestions, without which this collection would have been much less. And thank you to the rest of the folks at Black Powder Press.

Alright *crack knuckles* random headxannons drop time
So...we all know big bad marcus (obviously) and thanks to your headcannon (and some Google research...Jesus christ I really did made marcus fuckup in my Au- ANYWAYS) I have thought of few things
1; I feel like his voice would be somewhat (pr somehow) similar to five finger death punch (idk of you listen to them or not. If not suggest judgment day good song by them along with little bit off) lead singer. I feel like he would have that growl and screaming Moody (that's the lead singer bane no joke) does.
2; you got that zeus Allusion stuck in my head so I decided to search for emblems and found a small reference which is a golden ring and inside has like orangish golden clouds with a black silhouette lightning bolt to represent zeus (ironically Hermes is Zeus son according to Greek lore so this would 100% be perfect for marcus)
I'm actually going to start with that to be in on the safe side because I'm trying not to intercept my au version of marcus with my headcannon overall marcus heh 👉🏻👈🏻
Lets see here...Hmmm.
In your AU you have the lead singer of FFDP voice Marcus, and I think that is a good start. My choice to voice Marcus is the one Nick Notle, for his roles as David Banner in Hulk 2003 and his amazing performance in Warrior. He can pull both a soft father role and old testament wrath in the spot, so he is my pick.
While Zeus is indeed a strong inspiration for Marcus, I also wanted to mix in another Greek God. Ares. The God of Justified War. While Athena is a God that relies on tactitan (I have Ozma fill that role), Marcus is someone who will go to war because he feels justified to fight oppression. His motivation is bare for the world to see, and his emblem will signify that. Instead of a encompassing storm, I would go towards a large flame that ignites on top of a pillar. More centered around his anarchist mindset.
You have great points and I think your Marcus will fill perfectly in the role you have for him. Mine has a more domestic horror aspect with some eldritch powers, to make him both uncanny and terrifying to rementkind.

Totally cheating. He probably steal or snatch the a egg out of someone hand before running off to get more.
Horatio:
Chasing Wrench after he seeing the anarchist steal half of his eggs behind his back.
Marcus:
Main mission is to find the golden egg, looking everywhere for it. All while Wrench is on his tail.
Sitara:
Your talking to a track star bitch.
Has almost all the eggs in the hunt, also trying to figure out where is the golden egg when she knew specifically where it was.
Josh:
Watching everyone argue and go at each others throats while secretly has golden egg in jacket pocket.

255) True Blue Crew (TBC) - australijska skrajnie prawicowa grupa ekstremistyczna. Członkowie i sympatycy byli powiązani z prawicowym terroryzmem i samoobroną, a członkowie byli aresztowani z bronią i pod zarzutami związanymi z terroryzmem. W styczniu 2018 r. Channel 7 poinformował, że United Patriots Front i True Blue Crew próbują zorganizować patrole straży obywatelskiej w celu monitorowania młodych afrykańskich Australijczyków. Reclaim Australia i The True Blue Crew”.
