The film directed & produced by #ManmohanDesai, and written by #KaderKhan. The film stars #VinodKhanna, #AmitabhBachchan, #RishiKapoor, #ShabanaAzmi, #ParveenBabi and #NeetuSingh in the lead roles.

The plot focuses on three brothers who are separated in childhood and adopted by three families of different faiths—Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity. One grows up to be a policeman, another a singer, and the third the owner of a country liquor bar.

The soundtrack album was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and the lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi.

The film about religious tolerance became a landmark for Bollywood masala films, building on the masala formula pioneered several years earlier with Nasir Hussain's Yaadon Ki Baarat (1973). Amar Akbar Anthony also had a lasting impact on pop culture, with its catchy songs, one-liners and the character of Anthony Gonsalves played by Amitabh Bachchan. It won several awards at 25th Filmfare Awards including Best Actor, Best Music Director and Best Editing. It was later remade in Tamil as Shankar Salim Simon (1978), in Telugu as Ram Robert Rahim (1980) and in Malayalam as John Jaffer Janardhanan (1982)

It is the 25th day that we have flown from Korea to Mumbai, India. Unlike Korea, where the cold is raging every day, Mumbai is warm in winter but it is seasonal. Nine years have passed. As the head of the union branch, the flow of time is so heavy that the sound of the second hand can be heard through the hallway.

After Ssangyong Motor was acquired by Mahindra Group in 2011, Ssangyong Motor is gradually growing. In 2013, 465 unemployed unpatriated workers were retired and 37 dismissals were reinstated in February 2016 and April 2017. But the numbers are ridiculously small. This small number eventually leads to the difficulties of the survivors. The dismissal is also fired, but the suffering of the family who fought together with the fitter is also reaching the critical point, saying that the company will stop the order.

In May, a layman's wife committed suicide. I wanted to inform you of the unfortunate fact and to speed up the reinstatement, but I could not. It is because the suffering of the left layman was too great. The status of union members and family is at stake so that it is difficult even to stand up. We have conducted several health surveys since dismissal. The results of health surveys conducted on 130 dismissed residents in November made everyone embarrassed. The survey also found that depression and anxiety disorders (82.9%), antidepressants and sleeping pills (34%), and poor health due to postponed reinstatement were also found to be 79.2%.
