I met Béatrice Dalle in Cannes in 1986, when she starred in Jean-Jacques Beineix's film ''37,2 degrees Celsius in the morning''. Her shocking almost animal beauty and her special almost impulsive acting quickly made her a star. In independent French cinema, such as and in independent American cinema.
