last post inspired me to seek out fragrances that were made specifically with electronics, electricity or machines in mind! ive made a list. it has a def bias towards things that remind me of y2k/2000s tech/still machinery (tried to mostly steer away from motor oil smells and futuristic notes) bc of what ive got going on so if youre into that this list is for you. list gets more pure electronic-y metallic-y as it goes on i think idk i havent sampled any of these

AnalogKin

AnalogKin: feeling attached to, a part of, or that you are a being that could be classed as an analog horror character/creature. Can count if you already kin an analog horror character/creature, or if you have a form that would fit into the analog horror trope.

Examples of these characters or forms are:

Gloria Greywhinder (Harmony & Horror)

Analogkin beings usually have faces that are distorted in interesting ways that give them a disturbing look. Common traits include; enlarged eyes, wide smiles/grins, long faces, huge iris' and pupils, and exaggerated expressions. Analogkin will also commonly appear in a black and white threshold scene, but can be a colorful person without intense lighting. The purpose of the appearance is to strike fear into whoever looks at them, with additional atmospheres such as feeling like you are being watched, or the being will lunge at you.

Being Analogkin does not have to mean you have a scary personality, or that you are an antagonist, or anything negative. It simply means that your appearance is jarring, thus causing people fear when they see you. This can often have you be misunderstood by others, and it is difficult to show people you are not a threat despite your looks. Though, you have friends who have already gotten used to your look, and know your personality better than others.

You probably like solving puzzles and mysteries. You like to watch horror for it's plot, even if it's hard for you sometimes. Appearances don't matter much to you, the personality is what shines best. You have unique features that separate you from the normal, making you different in a wonderful way. And you probably have a big lovely smile. :)

You also do not have to be human or a humanoid to be of analogkin. You can be a non-human entity, either an animal, a robot, an alien, a monster of any type, etc.

If you have a kin attachment to an analog horror character, or you feel as if your form matches the qualities of one, you could be an AnalogKin. Do with this what you will.
