thinking about how the very first sanders sides fic i ever wrote and published (that now has been lost to second hand embarrassment and the power of the delete button) was a very cheesy analogical coffee shop au where logan moves back to town for college and stops by to get a coffee every morning from this shop along the way to fully wake him up, but the barista giving it to him is always so sleepy looking and alone in the mornings and eventually they click and the entire reason i wrote it was because an artist on instagram complained about the specific lack of analogical coffee shop au fics out there and i am but a weak minded servant to instagram artists whom i admire so i wrote the entire thing for them and im like 80% sure they never read it (bc why would they) and eventually i purged it while straightening out my works

Here is also some rookvil brain rot and head cannon stuff

Rookvil actually used to be my OTP but you know leovil the dark horse just have to break it but hey I am not complaining. One thing I really like Vil is his dynamic can really change when you ship him with different people and his multifaceted personality really shines.

What I really like about twisted wonderland is they like to change/manipulate some of the conventional dynamic. Like it becomes a different interpretation of the dynamic. Like how does like Vil just adopts other students who are just a few years younger than him? But hey it works.

It is like how they did in chapter 5 when Rook said the line of the prince who said to Snow White. But you know English translation are cowards they have to scrap that. It is then the hunter become the prince and the evil queen become the princess. It is just too cute. Rook always strike me as the fairy tale prince/high class noble but in a corrupted/changed sense. Like he is not a lot of people consider conventionally attractive(but he is very charming I will fight anyone who disagree xD) there will be no conventional prince with his interest(I guess you can argue the prince loved Snow White when she was “dead ” which is pretty sus ) he come from a wealthy and potentially maybe noble family but the family is shady as hell. You never know what he is thinking and usually prince is very sincere.

I always found it very interesting they decided Vil to be from a commoner family. I feel he probably comes from very humble beginning surrounding wise. I found it to be quite interesting choice because it is not they shy away from making people royal/noble/very important family decent. And they chose vil who is inspired by the evil queen for that. Like he actually understand Epel’s accent and have some weird vegetable analogy sometimes while his demeanour and how he carries himself is what you usually associated with people who is far removed from these.

Usually the queen character is surrounded by their loyal subjects. But you have the feeling Vil is , lack of a better word, more loyal with his affection. Vil is often very harsh if you don’t behave properly and is very strict with Epel. But he really trust Rook and he really strike me as the person who say “no he is just eccentric he is not a bad guy” while idk Rook is hiding a dead body in the background. It is so unbelievable for vil to keep Rook around like this and gaslight himself about Rook’s shenanigans if he is not mad loyal about that man okay.

Oh yeah btw Chapter 5/6 and beans event spoiler

For example he will still have his back aka his vulnerability open to Rook after the betrayal. He does not even get any blot from that. He still clings on to it after the betrayal. It is really unexpected because it is not often what you get.

I get because Rook is the hunter who betrayed the evil queen. But I also feel like his affection towards Vil really grows over the years. The effort he puts in his gift to Vil just grows exponentially. I think at first he refers to vil as the fairest in the school and by the and of chapter 6 he said vil is the most beautiful person in the world or I can be wrong.

I don’t know why but Rook seemed like a person who don’t like physical contact. He just give me that sort of a feeling. Maybe because he wears gloves. He rarely touch others too i think. He just stalks and study them. But in the beans event he captured Vil by hugging Vil. You never really know what Rook is thinking and I really love that. He is an enigma. There is no telling of his true intention. You often feel he is probably lying because he is so theatrical it feels it is fake. But again he will always do these sort of small things you can’t help but think that is genuine. Like he does not have to hug vil to capture him. He was the only one does that when capturing. It is strangely intimate. Also if he was faking it, would he be still praising Vil’s beauty while being choked on Vil’s poisonous gas like I CANT TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU COUGH COUGH COUGH

Like I just can’t believe it can be faked. Why go to this extent? I can’t help but feel the feeling Rook have for Vil is very special and is growing exponentially as we speak.

Also like I don’t even have to start with their origin story okay? It is the cutest thing ever. How they talked outside for hours and they all got really bad cold? And I have headcanon that Vil gave Rook a makeover and this is the look Rook stuck with ever since. And they will do skincare together.

Also like I have headcanon Rook is really really freaky and likes choking Vil. There is no way anyone can convince me Rook is vanilla. I just can feel it I think the guy is sadistic and freaky as hell, and probably enjoy choking Vil every night. If Vil died he will have a entire room dedicate to his shrine with his dead body inside a crystal transparent coffin. you can’t convince me otherwise.

How I feel about this character

Hello, have you met me? xD I adore Cassian, his story, his motivations, his commitment… it all hits too close to home, especially given the analogies that can be drawn considering the actor playing him is Latin American. As a Latin American star wars fan, Cassian speaks to me on a ton of different painful and often bittersweet levels. I love my rebel boy, my guerrillero del espacio ♥

Let me preface this by saying I’m totally down for him having a romantic interest in his upcoming show —give me awkward and adorkable Cassian in his early twenties falling in love, okay? xD Gimme a Latina love interest, preferably afro-Latina, you know. Oh, btw I’ve said early twenties because unless we’re having flashbacks, there’s no way they can make Diego pass as anything younger than that lol ANYWAY, having said that, I ship him with Jyn.

[I headcanon him as pan, but given Star Wars track record with woc as love interests, I’d rather we have one being the LI, you know. I am not adverse to an earlier LI being a moc, ofc.]

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Melshi. They’re really good friends and have the other’s back, no questions asked. Melshi didn’t even think about going to Scarif, he was in before Cassian had finished speaking the idea into existence. OH, also, I headcanon Cassian was part of the spec-forces for a short while before joining intelligence, hence where I think they may have met and became friends.

My unpopular opinion about this character

He is socially awkward when he has to socialise for real, as in not as part of a mission, and dorky, even if he may seem a bit harsh around the edges at first glance. Not to mention he’s totally not any [insert stereotype for Latinos here], thankyouverymuch.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

You mean, besides NOT DYING? Well, I guess I really really want Star Wars to have his mother being a pivotal influence for him growing up —inspired him to fight for what’s right, and all that good stuff, if you know what I mean— even if I know she dies because Cassian lost everything TwT

HE IS THE PILOT. HE BROUGHT THE MESSAGE. *sobs* I have a giant Bodhi-shaped soft spot in my heart, ngl. One of the bravest characters in the whole of Star Wars, defied the Empire from within and broke from its fear-mongering clutches, gave his all to free the galaxy…. I’m emo… he’s the catalyst, ok? Duuude… that vid OMFG! Kudos that you made it to the first 20 minutes. I literally had to pause and got f*ing teary eyed at 7.21 when JK bumped his hand to Tae’s acknowledging Tae’s silent ILY. Jesus, these poor boys. Talk about love that dare not speak its name :’( Btw, I’m so new to this fandom. Not even sure if I’m worthy of the ARMY name yet. But I’ve been in many other fandoms where fans bend reality, time and space continuum to suit their OTPs, LOL ;P (1/5)

(2/5) But THIS, Tae & JK, are the total opposite. I feel those who claimed that there’s nothing between them are the ones who for the sake of their own OTP agenda choose to be willfully blind, willfully ignoring Taekook’s facts. Speaking of which, I can’t believe how nasty some fans of the other ship can be. Like I said, I’m a newbie so I’m still at the stage of browsing around trying to find fun BTS blogs to follow. The other day I stumbled upon a pro JK/other member (not Tae, obvi) blog. (3/5) I always go by ship and let it be shipped, so it was sickening to see a blog getting so aggressive and defensive of their bias and putting down Tae to prop their own ship up. Especially when Tae himself is such a classy human being who preached about loving all 7 of them. LOL, dude is like Bangtan’s Aquaman, Uniting the 7 Seas. Go AquaTae :D But yeah, I got so, SO much feels for Tae & JK. Especially considering JK’s personality. (4/5) JK’s not emotionally constipated by all means. But he’s also not an extroverted PDA ball of fluff either. I think it speaks A LOT of his relationship with Tae for him to show that level of physical comfort and affection, and sometimes even actually vocalized certain things irt it i.e. the Bo Gum thing, the “just friend?” (when Tae introduced him as one) “just look at me” (about Tae’s acrophobia) etc. Also reaction from other members, RM’s “TH, you can kiss him now”, is F’king CLASSIC!!(5/5) Ooh, and Jimin’s “Kim Taehyung?” (irt to JK’s cause of happiness) I don’t have YTube account and frankly YTube’s comment section gives me hives. But I second the sentiment of hopefully author of that vid will continue with 2nd part, and that they deserves showers of love from Taekook-ers. In conclusion, sorry for this long ass ask. ok so 1) AGREED the ily hand sign is literally what made me come and post about the analysis on tumblr because WHAT WHAT WHAT I was shaken to the CORE but it was so beautiful and I was just :((((( I love them sm that video had so many moments where I was like :o bih did they just-

Like I don't really mind people shipping whoever cause I'm literally an ot7 stan I ship everyone with everyone BUT when a shipper starts to make it personal and starts attacking a member just because of their ship THATS when I get mad. like really mad. but yeah I usually block & report accounts that spread hate against members cause thanks stanky behaviour 😤✌ also YES Aquatae rise I love that analogy 🤩

5) I think people don't give the Namjoon: "taehyung kiss him" moment enough credit like out of everyone he calls out tae when he wasn't even in the SHOT and then jungkook being all fidgety like a little NERD I love him omg :( but yeah Jungkook is a LOT more active when it comes to his relationship with taehyung (except that one year we went through the worst taekook drought that was not a fun time :() but I'm guessing that's mainly because like he said himself Taehyung was the one who helped him come out of his shell and literally STRIP in front of him lmaooo so I guess it makes sense his PDA levels skyrocket with Tae I think they're just at that stage where they're comfortable with their relationship and who they are as individuals so they don't care as much when people go crazy about their moments. Plus Taehyung LITERALLY cannot keep his hands off jungkook it's becoming concerning it's like whenever he sees jungkook his brain literally screams TOUCH HIM. every.time.
