Legolas is sensitive about the world around him. He can sense when something is changing, when a foe can be turned into a friend, when the true evil approaches. Legolas knows a lot about the world and about himself, but he also knows a lot about you.

His heart is pure, his intentions are truthful, his love is endless. And yet, Legolas would never act on his love without knowing that you desire the same. Legolas has a light mood, carefree words, unending jokes. That does not means he don't care about other's feelings. About yours.

The moment he undertand that you feel the same, Legolas will feel like marrying you on the spot. Light would reach his body, affection would dominate his wills, and it would be almost impossible to stop the love from overflowing. Legolas would be so happy that it would hurt his body.

Despite being so impulsive, Legolas will make it special. Not big, not gigantic, but special. He would make it mean something.

It would be after a quest. After so long in the woods, it's finally over. After taking your so desired bath, Legolas would help you dry your hair. It will be delicate. Legolas will press a towel against your hair, his fingers would comb it gently.

Minutes would last for centuries. Embraced by him, feeling his warmth, time wouldn't pass. It would refuse to pass. And while Legolas comb your hair, your eyelids closed in pure delight, the question would come in a subtle whisper.

"Will you marry me, meleth?"

And your answer came just as quietly.

“I’m almost done,” his cheery voice sounds from behind you.

After a whole day of pampering you so much that you barely needed to lift a single finger, Liam insisted on washing your hair. He offered the whole combo: washing, drying, brushing, and styling it. And who were you to deny your boyfriend when he smiled at you that way?

You’re sitting in the middle of your bed, Liam right behind you, his fingers carefully detangling every knot before using the brush to make sure he won’t hurt you by pulling your hair. He is gentle while working, his fingers skillfully styling it. It’s very soothing, and his humming adds to the relaxing environment. You catch yourself almost dozing off more than once.

“I’m sorry I’m making you so tired,” he says softly. “Do you want me to stop so you can rest?”

“No, no! I’m not tired, don’t worry,” you reassure him, suppressing a yawn. “It’s just very relaxing having you play with my hair like this. It makes me very happy.”

“Then I’m glad,” he whispers, and you notice he sounds relieved. Some things never change, even after all this time together.

“I can’t possibly feel tired, especially after being pampered by you all day,” you complete, giggling.

He accompanies you, and then you hear a single clap. “Alright, I’m done!” His voice returns to a happier tone, and it makes you smile.

You turn around to look at him as he reaches for the hand mirror on your nightstand. He hands it to you and waits with bated breath to see your reaction. Your eyes shine when you see how beautiful he made you look, and he smiles tenderly.

“It’s amazing, Liam! I love it!” You can’t stop looking at your reflection.

“I’m happy you like it,” he chuckles, his pink eyes squinting from how genuinely happy he is. He loves to see you like this and to know he is the cause, that he is the one making that beautiful smile bloom on your lips.

You set the mirror down and beam at him. In a moment of impulsiveness, you throw yourself forward, wrapping your arms around his neck. Liam lets out a surprised sound, not expecting you to do that, and falls backward with you in his arms.

“I always do, and you know it. You make the best hairstyles!”

You shove your face into the crook of his neck, inhaling his sweet vanilla scent, which calms you and makes you even happier. You kiss his neck once and he squirms under you, a giggle escaping his lips.

You pull away only to look at his smiling face, a mischievous look on your own. He knows you’re about to cause some trouble, but he doesn’t mind; he just wants to see you always happy like this. You lean down again and start to leave kisses all over his neck, showering him with a tiny portion of all the love you felt from him today. His giggles intensify to laughs, and soon the whole room seems more alight than ever.
