Nothing much has changed about the forest in the two years that Ashton has been gone. Nothing much has changed about Ashton either, except everything. Two years ago Ashton severed his pack bond, betrayed his pack, and fled across the country. Now, unable to manage his shift and hearing reports of devastation in the Northwoods, he has to travel back home and solve the problem before his old pack finds him.

What do you like about the "friends to lovers" trope?

I love that it's all about the ways of loving (romantically and platonically), accepting a person prior to even being romantically involved, forging a relationship and then deciding: hey, I actually Love you in another way too.

When did you first become a fan of 5sos?

What do you enjoy most about writing fic?

Even when the process is, for me personally, slow and inconsistent in terms of progress, giving life to characters and a world that otherwise would exist only in my head is very fulfilling. Also the emotional release/rollercoaster that is writing is fun!

I made that 5sos collage last year and haven't thought about changing it since, my home screen is the illustration Ana made for my birthday 🩷🩷 the song is funny because I'm in one of those moods where I wanna listen to something I know but every song feel wrong but spotify started putting this random songs I liked as a kid and im very pleased, didn't even realize I still knew the lyrics to this one until I started singing kspakapakapal and considering I use pinterest to look for pics for moodboards for the 5sos blog and to look at hair, I feel like that's accurate lol

10. oooo this one is listed as "Malum fairy tale" and it's one that i actually do have a doc started for! back in 2020 em @pixiegrl and i kinda brainstormed a supernatural creatures au where ashton is a werewolf, luke is a mermaid, michael is a fairy, and calum is the token human. i had always intended to write a malum fic in that universe, it just hasn't quite happened yet

22. "Unmute 2020," which is the last chapter in my wip unmute, the prequel to Off-Screen. i listed each chapter separately in the idea doc because they're all around 10k and i like feeling accomplished when i cross them off. the 2020 chapter will likely be shortest, because instead of covering the full year it's only going to go from january to when off-screen takes place, which is in spring, then i might do a jump to the christmas scene i've already written just to close it off. one of my main goals for 2023 is to post another chapter of unmute, since i didn't post one this year even though i have half of chapter 3 done already
