Nothing much has changed about the forest in the two years that Ashton has been gone. Nothing much has changed about Ashton either, except everything. Two years ago Ashton severed his pack bond, betrayed his pack, and fled across the country. Now, unable to manage his shift and hearing reports of devastation in the Northwoods, he has to travel back home and solve the problem before his old pack finds him.

I love that it's all about the ways of loving (romantically and platonically), accepting a person prior to even being romantically involved, forging a relationship and then deciding: hey, I actually Love you in another way too.

When did you first become a fan of 5sos?

What do you enjoy most about writing fic?

Even when the process is, for me personally, slow and inconsistent in terms of progress, giving life to characters and a world that otherwise would exist only in my head is very fulfilling. Also the emotional release/rollercoaster that is writing is fun!

I made that 5sos collage last year and haven't thought about changing it since, my home screen is the illustration Ana made for my birthday 🩷🩷 the song is funny because I'm in one of those moods where I wanna listen to something I know but every song feel wrong but spotify started putting this random songs I liked as a kid and im very pleased, didn't even realize I still knew the lyrics to this one until I started singing kspakapakapal and considering I use pinterest to look for pics for moodboards for the 5sos blog and to look at hair, I feel like that's accurate lol

23 PIRATE AU PIRATE AU PIRATE AU. this wip has such a strong start but unfortunately i have no clue where the plot is going. here's a snippet:

The deck under his hands is unfamiliar.  The wood is rough, lighter than the boat he had escaped on, and he thinks it’s odd that he can recognize that when he’s coughing up seawater on it.  His lungs are aching still, every breath painful but so sweet after being deprived, and when he finally blinks the water out of his eyes and squints up he’s met with the point of a sword, metal cold and glinting in the sun. This wasn’t a rescue, then.

5 is titled "a long way from the playground" and it's an au where calum never joined the band but instead became a famous actor. he and michael still have all of that history of childhood friends, but michael is also not over the way that their friendship ended all of those years ago, and calum being famous too means that he's not exactly easy to forget. conceptually i like the idea, but it was also one of my earliest 5sos ideas and has barely been touched since 2020

57 a survivor au, based on the reality tv show! i'm not a dedicated watcher, but i do enjoy it on occasion. this would be a cashton one, and i think it'd be great if they both made it to the end but the third person is the one who won the million dollars. i have not worked on it at all and have barely thought about it since i first got the idea
