What do you like about the "friends to lovers" trope?

I love that it's all about the ways of loving (romantically and platonically), accepting a person prior to even being romantically involved, forging a relationship and then deciding: hey, I actually Love you in another way too.

When did you first become a fan of 5sos?

What do you enjoy most about writing fic?

Even when the process is, for me personally, slow and inconsistent in terms of progress, giving life to characters and a world that otherwise would exist only in my head is very fulfilling. Also the emotional release/rollercoaster that is writing is fun!

I made that 5sos collage last year and haven't thought about changing it since, my home screen is the illustration Ana made for my birthday 🩷🩷 the song is funny because I'm in one of those moods where I wanna listen to something I know but every song feel wrong but spotify started putting this random songs I liked as a kid and im very pleased, didn't even realize I still knew the lyrics to this one until I started singing kspakapakapal and considering I use pinterest to look for pics for moodboards for the 5sos blog and to look at hair, I feel like that's accurate lol

ahhhhhh ana. pls. why would you do this to me :/

okay okay so i just. lets say this is just... about cake making holding hands before a show a habit. like in the beginning calum does it as a joke, hes like, "luke we gotta share our energy, we gotta let the energy flow" and luke accepts it bc its calum. who if not calum would use that as an excuse. but then the next time the joke... gets kinda lost? luke doesnt even realise it but he literally waits for calum to take his hand before they make their way to the stage. calum doesnt do it though, maybe he forgets about it, so luke cant stop himself and just jokes "hey what about the energy flow" and calum looks at him with that look as if saying "wait you actually wanna do this?" but he doesnt say it out loud bc theyre not alone. ash and mike are there. so he joins luke in the 'joke' and takes his hand saying "what cant you feel it?"

luke desperately tries to ignore that feeling that he starts to get every time they now do this. it doesnt even mean anything. theyre friends and they have an inside joke and that inside joke includes holding calums hand that fits so perfectly into his own. until calum grabs his hand after the show. thats when it gets complicated. because then he starts doing that regularly too, and when luke feels nervous before the show, he starts to brush over his thumb to calm him down, and luke starts to wish that calum would hold his hand more often. way more often. so he asks calum before the dentists appointment, saying hes scared, and calum is happy to oblige. and luke asks him when theyre cuddling on calums couch, waiting for the new song to get online, and calum takes his hand before hes even finished. they fall asleep like that, cuddled into each other somehow but still not letting go, and when luke wakes up the next morning from a slight touch on the back of his hand his heart jumps when he realises it was calum kissing his hand. calum whos now blushing and stammering that he didnt do it on any purpose, but luke decides to take that leap of faith and goes for a real kiss, and when he leans back afterwards his face is burning and he feels insanely relieved, and happy, and just alright as he says, "that was on purpose though, hope thats okay?" and yeah, well, of course it is. more than okay actually. "is this some type of energy flow too?" calum asks in between, making luke laugh and playfully punching his chin. "no it's not, you dumbass." - "hm. im not convinced though. maybe we should do it again, just to make sure?" it was a weak attempt and luke was a weak man. so, obviously, he agreed.
