King the Land
Netflix has some good Korean dramas but there are others that frankly disappoint. King the Land is one of them. It took me forever to finish it because it lacked essence. If the story was going to focus on the romance and be all bubbly, then the corporate intrigue should not have been included. The characters felt shallow as they focused on the situation at hand. It could have been an interesting story if their affection for each other had grown as they worked together to rise over the challenges and injustices employees suffered under the current administration. The plot of career woman with family could have been interesting too, instead, Gang Da Eul spends more time hanging out with her friends than with her family. . .
The series had a good cast but the writing just didn't do it for me.
