This was.... Annoying, to say the least.

It was pretty clear he was nowhere near his home and that was leaving him anxious. Had someone managed to move his locket without him realizing? Was Vivi okay-

The thought of Arthur had him clutching at the heart shaped locket, getting up now that he was unable to stay still, unsettled but this situation and his own thoughts. It seems he wasn’t going to be left alone with them as he heart the door open, the Dead Beat peeking at the visitor from their hiding places.

Lewis had built the mansion so he’s have some place quiet and stable to stay, away from people but seems even the prospect of a ‘haunted’ mansion wasn’t enough to keep all people away.

Then again he was one of those people who’d go running head first into the paranormalI

Feeling a little amused by the thought he set the locket into place, perhaps he’d give this person a chance to prove himself, but for now he was going to head to the master bedroom and let the Dead Beats handle it.

“Oooo~” one of them showed up, singing the little note as it bopped up and down, soon enough the two others joined, singing a small song in chorus as they slowly got closer to the uninvited visitor.

Once a few feet away, their faces turned jagged, closing the gap and starting to circle Alex as their beautiful chorus turned into one that felt much more malicious.

He couldn’t possibly have known that she was essentially kiss fiend by nature. The intellectual couldn’t say that he quite appreciated how extremely forward she was, but a part of him was still impressed all the same. Even he knew that most avoided him due to his intimidating nature. 

Feeling as though he ought to reciprocate a certain level of regard for her forwardness, he changed the positioning of his hand, so he was holding his hand underneath her chin, a thumb tracing over the line between her slightly parted lips.

     “I’d think you’d ask for my name before skipping straight to kissing.           Perhaps you’ll have better luck the next time.”

Mildly amused by the situation, he chuckled before he lowered his hand on her chin. After offering the words denoting a possible ‘next time’, he walked past her, on his way back to campus grounds. He had work to do.
