Closing thoughts;

Hey, Mod T here - thought I would slip in a formal goodbye before we all go our respective way, so it's under the cut for anyone who wants to read it! 

Edit: No longer under the cut b/c I enjoy taking up the dash with my long posts. Enjoy!

I'm not gonna lie, this is really difficult. As one of the original creators of Red Thread, closing the group is probably one of the last things I want to do. But the thing is, the closing of this group was never something about my wants - it was about the group. It has and is always about the group.

I'm not going to reiterate how we started again, because it's been repeated so many times already - instead, I want to leave that behind and talk about this group, because it's become something we also have to leave behind.

Red Thread was, no doubt, something close to my heart. Not only was it my very first group, but it was crucial that I somehow manage to preserve the friendly and fun atmosphere Red Stringed gave us for those couple of months it was open. And I really would like to think that I've succeeded in producing it! Something like that is hard to find in groups, but we managed it, and I have no one to thank but all of you.

Yeah, I'm getting cheesy. But honestly, if it weren't for each and every single one of you, I don't think we could have achieved what we got to today. Every single post, every joke shared among us.. this group held so many life experiences other people would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. I, myself, think I've grown a lot throughout the years of Red-Thread, and I think you have too.

Really, though, I just want to thank you for roleplaying here! It's been such a fun time, and we couldn't have done it without you guys. Thanks for being in my life! I really appreciate it. 

Hopefully, I'll see you guys elsewhere? I'll be around on my personal, starxify, and my Skype is milkshakekun, so don't be afraid to chat me up.

(Soar here! ) Since you guys are closing down and this is the second time a variation of Red-Stringed, would it be possible for members to make a variation or an RT 2.0/RS 3.0? I'm asking if the likes of Brieve, Rouves can still be used and whatnot. (Not including banner and map too). The idea was wonderfully developed and active members would hate to see this go. If not available, may a variation be made (credit still given to you guys)? Thank you >w

To our members of Red Thread.

It is with a heavy heart that we post this message. Red Thread has been an amazing role play community for the last two years. All of our members past and current have worked together to make the city of Brieve something special.

However, we feel that it's come time to bring this story to a close. With the decline in activity over the past few months, and the lack of new members we feel it is time for the group to close. We are sorry to all those who have stayed with us until the end but we thought it best to end on a positive note in the new year. 

We are going to be leaving the group open for one more week, to allow everyone who wants to wrap up their threads, and give their characters a proper 'farewell' the chance to do so. If you have any questions do not hesitate to come and ask any of the mod team. We want to thank everyone for making this experience as your mods an amazing one, and we hope everyone had as much fun as we did.
