Dean:  Hmm, Dean is pretty sure that he’ll never manage to top that birthday gift he gave Claire that first time, the lore book on angels basically representing his support of her choosing to hunt, but he tries his best.   His gift comes in two parts - the first half for fun and the second half for practicality.  Since she’s not a tape deck kind of girl, he gets her the full discography of Led Zeppelin on CD, cause everyone should have an appreciation of the classics.  He also gets her a Colt 1911 Government Model Series 70 with black mother of pearl grips.  It’s a workhorse of a gun and one that has served him well in all the many years that he’s been hunting and he wants Claire to have something reliable and good quality when she’s out there on her own.

Cas:  With Dean and Sam’s permission, Cas gives Claire a key to the Men of Letters bunker.  That way she always have a safe place to go to when she needs it, even if they aren’t there at the time.  He also gets her a gas station gift card so she always has gas money.

Emma:  Emma gets Claire a good quality knife, one small enough to be easily hidden on her, because one can never have enough weapons. She carves a few Greek sigils on the handle that are meant to protect the one wielding it and keep them safe from harm. (There’s a note in the box detailing the symbol meanings and citing her sources, cause Emma is that kind of nerd about these things).  The package is tied with a ribbon that has a Wonder Woman keychain tied to it as a decoration - because Emma thinks that Claire has the inner strength and smarts to be an Amazon... but the good kind, like Diana Prince, not the evil kind like her former tribe.

Obligatory first question, what does Jo think about Claire?

there’s not an easy way to explain how complex jo’s feelings towards claire are. she’s a good kid, went through a lot, and whenever jo looks at her it’s impossible not to see a little bit of herself in the girl  ---  but then again that’s something that sort of ties every kid who’s parent has been a hunter or was involved in the life.

in my divergence, jo stayed with jody for a while after coming back, hence saw first hand how claire adjusted to living with the sheriff. they have very similar personalities and mannerisms despite barely knowing each other, which was cool at first because for once jo could feel both like finding someone who understood her but also to whom she could be a sort of cool aunt or older sister... still, that changed quickly in the couple times they went hunting together, and jo could finally understand why ellen was always breathing on her neck and worried so much.

claire is family, just like jody and the boys  ---  still there is a part of jo that wishes claire hadn’t taken the hunting route, mostly because she fears claire will end up just like her: 24, bleeding out on the floor of an unfamiliar place and with no other options.

🌟 - Who was your very first rp muse? i’ve rp’d off tumblr for so long i can’t remember who was the very first in private (probably someone from an old rpf fandom tbh), but my very first rp blog on this site was iris hunt, a doctor who oc, who i wrote in 2013! i recently added her to my multi too, and it’s strange. it’s been seven years! there’s a whole story here - she was the result of me messaging a tenth doctor roleplayer on my personal tumblr to ask if she wanted to write something, i had the idea for iris, we developed her background story a little together, and pretty much no one else was interested in interacting with her than that one ten-mun. she basically was manipulated into believing she was being trained to assassinate the doctor, and there’s this whole organization we came up with, from the remnants of canon torchwood one. anyway her url used to be irishuntsthestars and i was really proud of that. she’s at @smokedanced​ now!

💙 - Are there any muses you’ve been considering trying out? did you mean: always! omfg. honestly, very often when i consume fiction these days, i consider adding muses. most seriously, lately, i’ve played with the idea of rowena macleod (but i wonder if i have the energy to write her voice), lady morgana from merlin (my husband made me watch it and we’re on season three now, i don’t think it’s going to be a thing but i did consider her quite seriously), sun kwon and juliet burke from lost (mayyyyybe), greer castleroy from reign (also maybe) and harley yoshi milano from the book harley in the sky by akemi dawn bowman (honestly probably will add). i’ve on and off considered sam winchester but man, i don’t have the voice for him. meh.

Plenty of times. Michael wasn’t the most graceful angel when he was young but was also quite reckless in his exploring and attempts to master things on his own. Sometimes things worked out, sometimes he learned painful lessons the hard way.
