He finally even has a face to that idea he's lived with his whole life and what he's hoped to accomplish with the Brotherhood... I found it so tragic to finally get the knowledge, to feel like 'Of course Maximus is going to run headstrong into it', but to finally come to face that reality that you've imagined for so long, and within six seconds of it, be knocked out cold.

You wake up from being unconscious and you just expect that person to be there. And then sort of realize 'Is she alive? Did she just leave me?' Everyone is gone. You wake up and all the solutions you think you were coming to grasp are all gone. I always found him very upset with himself in that moment...
