Found this draw the squad sketch from waaaaaay back in 2020 and decided I needed to finally color it (and fix the anatomy).
So anyways how tall you think the box needs to be to execute this effectively?

Don’t mind me, just redrawing my favorite divorced (without being married) couple™ while I actively avoid drawing other things.
Hahahahaha
Anyways @wolfy1298 I hope this gives you some serotonin in these trying times so I can pretend I had more pure motives to redraw this other than just “make sure Amoré doesn’t look like a matador this time”

✨ recap ✨
Amorè walks aimlessly into the surrounding forest with no real destination in mind, just a desire to get as far away from the house as possible. Birch helps her stay on her feet as she stumbles along, though eventually she does fall and just stays down. Birch curls around her and she just cries hard, cuddling into him in a rather uncharacteristic display of vulnerability.
Eventually, Diana finds them curled up under a tree and sits down on the other side of Amorè. They sit in awkward silence for a moment as Amorè attempts to stop herself from crying (with little success) before she finally asks Diana why she let Sylphi charm her. Diana responds that she didn’t really have time to react, and Amorè presses why she didn’t stop her from embarrassing herself once she started spilling her guts.
It’s like pulling teeth, having this conversation. But they have a sort of bonding moment, and Diana offers an olive branch. She reiterates the sentiment that she does care for Amoré, even if Amoré doesn’t believe her. And she’ll try to be more vigilant about this kind of stuff from here on out. Diana knows very little about magic and how it works, but she’ll try to make up for it.
Amorè admits that despite everything, she still cares for Diana too, and that’s why this has all been so hard. A lot can happen to a person in seven years. They had once been friends, and they clearly weren’t those same people anymore. Things are strained, and there is a lot between them they are unwilling to talk about.
So they decide to try and start over, and agree on “reluctantly acquired travel companions,” until they can relearn their old relationship. Amorè even promises Diana a nice crystal from her shoes once they’re big enough to harvest.
They sit in quiet as Amorè composes herself, and she quietly confesses that she’s scared to tell her parents she failed Agatha’s test. She knows they wouldn’t be angry, but that somehow makes it worse. She understands anger. She can deal with anger. But disappointment? Diana suggests they take the scenic way back, and maybe she could try the other version of the test Agatha alluded to instead.
Sylphi eventually finds them sitting under the tree. She keeps a distance, as Amorè lets it be well known she’s still furious about everything, and she’s decided that she’d like to leave Agatha’s as soon as possible. They let Birch lead them back to the cottage. As they walk, Sylphi approaches cautiously and hands Amorè a ring set with a clear stone, informing her that it will help monitor her fainting spells, though they’ll have to get the details from Agatha to figure out how.
At this point the three of them realize that Birch is not taking them back to the cottage. Instead, they end up in a clearing full of honeysuckle, and he leaves them to enjoy eating the flowers (at Sylphi’s insistence). He disappears into the tree line and returns sometime later, dragging a dead jeweled lizard behind him. He offers it to Amorè, and keeps swatting Diana and Sylphi away from it.
Amorè collects the gems from the carcass and Birch eats the rest when she’s done. Diana tries to snag a few gems, to no success, to (surprisingly) Amorè’s own amusement. Birch leads them back to the cottage for real this time, and Agatha is waiting for them at the table.
Sylphi goes up to her to ask about the ring, and Agatha instructs Amorè to put it on, though mentions once it’s on it is not to be removed. Sulkily, Amorè does as instructed, and feels a slight prick. Agatha explains that the ring will absorb some of her essence, and they all watch as the stone in the ring turns a light pink.
They sit down at the table to discuss where to go from here, and Sylphi convinces them to go after Ko Kiri. She’s still worried about her getting this place that may or may not exist on her own. As the pack up to leave, Diana tries to get a few more Earrings of Sending for the road. She’s able to get five from Agatha though she’s warned she’ll have to pay for them going forward.
As they head out towards their borrowed horses (Micycle, Bicheal, & The Darkness (aka Steven)), Agatha stops Amorè and pulls a necklace from somewhere in her scarves. She drops it into her hand and tells her it will let her know when to return for her next test.

We're finally back!
So after mediating between the rest of the assailants and their (still alive) client, they're able to sort out that some missing family members the group were looking for didn't actually get kidnapped, but joined their client's service voluntarily. It was uncomfortable and awkward for everyone to come to terms with the fact that the people the group had set a house on fire for had actually not wanted to return home, and Amoré decides that she's too exhausted to pay much attention to these delicate domestic matters.
She takes a seat on a charred chair and nods off for a while, eventually coming to surrounded by Sylphi, Kaa (the tiefling she pawned Sylphi off on earlier), and a purple dragon born girl. Sylphi cheerily introduces the girl as Ko Kiri, a former arsonist in the group of assailants they had just been fighting. Amoré is baffled, though Sylphi is quick to explain Ko Kiri was only involved because she needed the money, and tries to get Amoré to join their sharing circle.
Amoré is reluctant to share anything with anyone, though Sylphi is able to get her to reluctantly admit that her favorite color is gold, which leads to a drawn out argument between her and Ko Kiri about gold's status as a color. Amoré suddenly realizes how young this girl is, though Ko Kiri insists she is an adult by dragon born standards.
Eventually, Sylphi tries to broach the subject of Amoré's fainting spell earlier. While Amoré feels a cold bit of dread in her as Sylphi continues to ask questions, she cannot remember anything specific about what happened past the window breaking in the study. Both Sylphi and Kaa insist that it happened, but Amoré finds herself digging her heels in the more they try to convince her.
Diana eventually breaks up the argument when she returns from dealing with the city guard and Kaa volunteers to see them back to their inn safely. A carriage is called for them and to Amoré's astonishment, Sylphi declares that they're taking Ko Kiri with them despite Amoré's concerns about just taking a known arsonist with them, no questions asked.
She is ultimately outvoted, and it is an awkward and mostly silent ride back to the inn. But Kaa sees them off, and Ko Kiri ends up staying the night in their room, though Amoré makes sure Sylphi know that if they wake up to a room on fire she's blaming her.

✨ recap ✨
Sylphi follows Amorè out of the cottage, leaving Diana inside alone. She catches up quickly, pulling Amoré aside and handing her a Goodberry “just in case.” Amorè has no idea what it is and immediately pops it into her mouth, unknowingly wasting its +1 health effect (but hey she’s got a full stomach for 24 hours now). Sylphi tries to hide her distress and hands her another, this time instructing her to save it for any emergency healing she may need.
Agatha leads them into her forest and to a small clearing. She instructs Sylphi to stay back with her and Amorè to step in to face her test.
Amorè does so, and three wolves appear among the trees and begin running straight at her. She casts Ray of Frost but just barely clips the paw of one as it pounces and bites into her arm. The second bites her as well, and the third keeps its distance. Amorè releases a cloud of Poison Spray on the two biting her, and one vanishes while the other releases her leg. She retreats, narrowly missing a bite from it and is able to take cover behind a tree.
She pulls out Sylphi’s Goodberry and eats it before popping out to cast Color Spray. The wolves are blinded, and she goes to take cover again, but is rather caught off guard when the ground shakes and the tree she was planning on hiding behind comes to life and runs her over.
Her vision goes dark and she comes to on the couch in Agatha’s cottage.
Once she realizes that she failed the test, and that she failed so thoroughly and quickly, she is absolutely humiliated. Diana, who had been reading a book in the chair next to her, checks in to see if she’s sick. But she can’t get anything other than angry and frustrated incoherent rambling from Amorè. Sylphi brings over some tea, but Amorè barely realizes it’s being offered to her.
Diana and Sylphi continue to try and offer comfort as Amorè spirals. But each attempt to console her is met with misplaced anger, making Diana uncomfortable. She gets up to leave and go back upstairs to the rooms Agatha had provided them, and Sylphi continues to try and break through to Amorè.
But all her attempts are rebuffed. She tries to praise her performance, but knowing how quickly she was taken out, Amorè doesn’t believe her to be genuine. Sylphi tries to gauge if this test had hit some weird deep rooted insecurity that Amorè’s been ignoring, and Amorè abruptly goes quiet. She then declares to Sylphi in a slightly disturbing calmness that the suggestion was laughable, and insists that there’s nothing like that to worry about.
Sylphi then admits, probably in a last ditch attempt to save the conversation, that she had prayed for Amoré’s success in her test. This has…the opposite effect. Amorè’s rage immediately rekindles and she makes Sylphi promise to NEVER pray for her again. That finally chases Sylphi back upstairs, and Amorè spends the rest of the night on the couch in a depression burrito.

✨ recap time ✨
As Quincy settles in with Agatha, Sylphi pulls the party to the library table so they can attempt to find Ko Kiri’s home on a map. She’s able to locate it, but the area she hesitatingly points to is unmarked, and she admits that she’s not really supposed to tell anyone where she’s from.
The minute they figure out a travel route from Agatha’s forest to the mountains of Rocktom, Amoré begins the process of sending Ko Kiri on her way. Sylphi insistes that they need to walk her there, but Amoré puts her foot down on not being an escort service for wayward youths. They argue about it heatedly before Ko Kiri speaks up, saying she’s capable of making the trip alone, seeing as she made the trip down by herself anyways.
Sylphi unhappily obliges before leaving her to say goodbye to Diana while she goes to the kitchen to pack her some supplies for the road.
Amorè settles in at the table with Quincy, observing her demonstration of all the ways a gadget can explode. They begin chatting, and Quincy offhandedly asks about Amorè’s knowledge of “magic swords and gold lips.” The words are vaguely familiar to her, but Quincy dose not really elaborate or give her more context to work with. Instead, she asks if the Bellridge family has any hand in the religious world. Amorè bitterly admits she has not had any dealings in anything religious since she was very young.
Diana and Sylphi re-enter the cottage after seeing Ko Kiri off, and Sylphi chimes in that understanding religion takes effort. Amorè is immediately enraged at the insinuation that she didn’t try hard enough to keep her relationship with her Angelic Guide, and yells at Sylphi for assuming she knows anything about her situation. Sylphi tries to pacify her, and suggests that they talk it out. She is unsuccessful however, as Amorè goes on to remind Sylphi that she is still a stranger to her. And even if she wasn’t, that that is one of the last things she would ever talk about with any of them.
Quincy cuts through the tension by suggesting they all could benefit from some therapy. But before Amorè can redirect her anger on her, Diana speaks up to ask about the details of her research. She mentions recognizing God Items from her travels, and asks if Quincy had actually located any of them. Quincy admits that it’s a passion project of hers, that’s she’s not yet found the answers.
Amorè immediately wants to know what Quincy would do with these items if she could manage to track them down, given that things seem to explode under her watch. Quincy denies actually wanting them, assuring them that her interests are purely educational in nature.
Diana asks if Quincy could identify objects. Quincy says she’d be willing to take a look, and Diana pulls out a large purple orb from her pack. She tosses it towards Quincy, and Quincy…does not catch it.
It shatters the stone floor of Agatha’s sitting room like it weighs a ton, and Quincy frantically instructs Amorè and Sylphi not to touch it. If that orb is what she thinks it is, then it could kill them if they lay so much as a finger on it.
She’s absolutely flabbergasted that Diana was just casually tossing this around, given that she should not have been able to even pick it up in the first place. Diana does not reassure her as she admits that “they” said she should have does as well.

✨ recap ✨
Upon inspection, Sylphi recognizes the orb as an item of Ba’al (assuming that it is real). She explains, as Diana picks it back up, that according to her studies his domains as a god are barriers and promises. So she can’t understand why one of his items would kill on touch. Shockingly, no one else is eager to volunteer taking it from Diana to see if it is the real thing. Sylphi instead decides to test the orb on a seedling.
She pulls a seed from her pocket and infuses it with some of her magic to get it to sprout before placing it on top of the orb. It sparks from the center and it begins to glow before the seedling begins growing rapidly. It encases the orb almost entirely with its roots, causing Diana to drop it before they can grow over her hand.
It smashes back down into the stone floor, and Diana swoops down and begins to hack at the roots with one of her daggers to free it, but they will not cut. Between the roots and her gloves, Quincy feels like it’s safe enough to risk touching it, and picks it up gingerly to inspect.
She’s quiet for a moment before suggesting that this orb is a failed attempt to recreate Ba’al’s item. As far as she can tell, whatever it may have been intended for, the orb may just end up giving anyone who touches it Dragonborn characteristics. She then calls up the staircase to Agatha to see if she suddenly feels “dragony” since that seedling wrapped around the orb was from her forest.
Agatha irritataingly confirms she does not from somewhere upstairs.
Quincy decides she is intrigued by all this and hands her card and a communication stone to Sylphi. She explains that the stone can teleport one person temporarily for brief meetings or just for voice check ins, and that the seal on her card will bring them straight to her if they ever stop by her shop in Yeothia. She’d love it if they could keep her informed on any changes they may observe with anything that may come into contact with that orb.
She goes to head out, before pausing at the door to toss some spark rocks to Amoré…who does not catch them and they explode around her feet, before bidding them farewell and ducking out of the cottage, ignoring Amoré’s string of curses.
Anagtha decends the staircase to see the noticeable hole and slight scorch marks on her floor before flatly stating that it’s a good thing they just got paid because she expects Diana to fix that. Diana sheepishly acquiesces and hands Amoré and Sylphi their share of their payment while she’s at it.
While Amorè is tucking her gold away, Diana steps up to her and also places a small purple scale in her palm. She explains that it’s a gift from Ko Kiri, that she left one for each of them. Amorè muses that she doesn’t understand what about their time together warranted a gift, especially to her, and Diana hesitantly asks if Amoré knows what it means to receive a scale from a Dragonborn.
She admits she doesn’t, and proceeds to tuck it away in her pouch. Diana stays quiet and does not elaborate any further.

✨ recap ✨ (non consensual therapy incoming)
The next morning, Amorè refuses to leave her depression burrito. Sylphi leaves a plate next to her on the floor, and over the course of the next few hours, her hand emerges occasionally from the pile of blankets to snatch some food.
Around noon, Agatha has finally had enough and uses Mage Hand to forcibly evict Amorè from her burrito, scolding her for her undignified conduct. Amorè has still not gotten over the humiliation of the night before and is still snappish at everyone, avoiding all attempts from Sylphi and Diana to ease her out of her funk. Agatha heads upstairs as Sylphi begins to lose her patience and turns the conversation back to Amore’s behavior and fainting spells.
Absolutely fed up with Amorè’s refusal to answer either of them, Sylphi casts Charm Person on her. Amorè fails her saving throw, and is made to spill her guts to Diana and Sylphi against her will.
She admits to being riddled with anxiety about failing Agatha’s test. This woman she didn’t even know existed until a few days ago has the ability to strip her of her family name if she finds her unworthy of it. It terrifies her to know she wasn’t strong enough to pass, and she thinks this is just another strike against her. She admits to having gaps in her memories, and an inkling that she’s forgotten something important, but every time she tries to examine it, she ends up feeling a deep sense of dread. She knows there’s something wrong with her and her family knows it. They act like she should have accomplished something by now, but she can’t find out what it is. She feels alone…She admits that she doesn’t trust Sylphi, and she thinks Diana does not care about her.
Diana confirms that she does care about Amorè before going upstairs, leaving Sylphi to pry deeper into Amorè’s emotional response.
But there are questions Amorè cannot answer, even under the influence of the spell. Her mind draws a blank, and it scares her, so she copes by acting aggressively towards people who draw attention to it. She confesses that she knows everyone around her acts like she’s a ticking time bomb, but she has too much pride to confide in anyone so she just keeps bottling it up. And who even would she confide in? Her parents don’t even seem to notice how much she’s struggling, they don’t even see each other very often.
Sylphi suggests they find a way to monitor her and find out what really happens when these fainting spells happen. She leaves to go ask Agatha about any magic items she may have that may be able to help them, and leaves the spell to fade as she heads up the stairs.
The moment she is no longer in range, icy clarity washes over Amorè as she realizes everything she’s just admitted to. Humiliation washes over her and she begins crying. Actual, ugly crying, that almost has her sinking to the floor in a heap. Birch tries to comfort her, but she gets up, and staggers out of the cottage, slamming the door behind her and heading into the forest.

✨ recap ✨
The moment passes and Diana tries to bring up Amorè’s fainting spell at the manor again. Sylphi tag teams Diana and they try to bring up what happened in the room upstairs while they were locked out. Amorè recounts what little she was able to find out about Madam Blue’s partnership with their former client before the arsonists broke in through the window, but noticeably talks around what happened after that.
She gets defensive as Diana describes what she saw when she showed up, shrinking away from the description of her…less than honorable actions during the fight. Amorè tries to downplay it, insisting all she did was fend off assailants and put out fire, just like they were hired to. But Sylphi bluntly states that she did in fact, kill someone on the way out.
Amorè bristles, insisting in a slightly panicked tone that she cannot be held responsible for people who don’t check to see if stairs are iced before attempting to sprint down them. Sylphi and Diana are both unimpressed with her answer.
Agatha cuts in, announcing that based on her observations and reports (?), Amorè has not passed her test and therefore is not permitted to return home. Amorè freezes, suddenly realizing what’s going on before insisting that she is ready to take a more immediate test to prove she’s worthy. She bickers back and forth with Agatha before she gives in and tells Amorè that she’ll give her a physical test instead. She gives her a deeply aggrieved look before telling her to meet her outside when she’s ready, and exits the cottage.
Diana and Sylphi immediately try to talk Amorè out of it, but Amorè is bizarrely insistent that she has to. She declares herself to be stronger now than when she first arrived at Agatha’s (lol girl gained one whole level). In a bid to stop the insanity, Diana threatens to tell Amorè’s father what happened to her the previous night. Amorè snaps at her and Sylphi steps in to try to mediate.
Amorè tells Sylphi to butt out. She does not understand their relationship and her platitudes are operating on assumptions that they have more than just a formal working relationship. They don’t care about each other, they’re just stuck together.
With that, she turns and follows Agatha out of the cottage.

Got re-obsessed with this old role swap AU amongst my scrapbook prep so of course I had to redraw with more appropriate design elements.
It's a hold over from a time before Amoré's multiclass, where I was constantly bitching about her not being able to wear all these cool armor pieces I found, & it birthed a whole ass AU that's...hilariously similar to Sam's current project. But as always, I am the yin to her yang, while she brings the fluff, I bring the angst.
Since it's boring to just do a one-to-one swap, I raise you Draconic Bloodline sorceress Diana, inheritor of a rare form of magic originating from a source the rest of the world views hostile. Since she was young, there have been multiple attempts on her life, desperate attempts from multiple groups to keep her from fully connecting with her magic and growing into a fully realized sorceress. Those who don't die in the line of duty are dismissed for letting the threat get too close, and she has become resigned to what she sees as her inevitable fate.
Amoré is a young Inquisitor, daughter of a rather infamous pair of Protector Aasimar who up and vanished in the middle of a long term contract for an extremely affluent client, never to be heard from again. Her name is ruined, and she does not care what she has to risk to bring respect back to it. She will regain her Protector status, even if it means burning everyone around her, and herself in the process.
Anyways I'm obsessed. I had so much material set aside for this AU and I lost all the dialogue plans so ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ from scratch we go!

I’m finally diving head in on putting together a character scrapbook out of my campaign notes for Dúo Rong.
Even though it’s a project that I’d started way back in late 2020 when I first got my cricut, I haven’t been seriously keeping up with the project in the way I had intended.
But! I’ve officially broken down the campaign into arcs to make the task more manageable, while also giving myself time to go back & draw little moments that I never got around to. And while I have to resize certain images to fit the 5 x 8 format, I find myself having to add on to a few of them. Which is…interesting 😅 mixing my old & new art styles.
I think I’ll only repost the ones that have large changes to them, but first I’m working my way through the essentials (a fullbody ref & all her character sheet/world info).
But! I can’t wait to share more about this campaign because it is so near & dear to me, & while it’s been really funny sharing them with next to no context, I really can’t shut up about all the subtle nuances these idiots have going for them & their relationships with each other 🤣
Anyways! My prints for Season 1 : Arc 1 arrive in the next few days & I can’t wait to see this come together!

After realizing most guests at the ball seem to be glancing up at the second floor balcony, Amoré grabs Sylphi and begins to guide them up towards their client, who disappears behind a large set of ornate doors. They're intercepted by a red tiefling escort who was chatting up Diana earlier, and tries to keep them away from the doors. Amoré takes the opportunity to foist Sylphi onto him once she realizes he's charmed by her naivete and leads her back downstairs to dance.
Amoré rolls the only Nat 20 on stealth she's ever managed (technically a 19 with her -1) and is able to sneak into a meeting room with the masked lady and their client. The masked lady introduces herself as Madame Blue, representing The Blue Duke, here to negotiate terms to use their client's escorts as an informant network. The meeting is interrupted by the man who hired them, inquiring if any of them had seen Amoré. They confirm they haven't, and he returns to the party, locking the doors behind him.
Madam Blue then immediately finds Amoré hiding among the plants in the room, making sure to make direct eye contact with her before returning to business with their client.
Before Amoré can reflect on how screwed she is, Madame Blue decides to cut the meeting short, threatening their client with swift retaliation should he reject the Duke's proposal. He's saved from having to answer by three masked assailants breaking through the window behind his desk. Amore realizes the jig is up and abandons the whole hiding thing and casts a spell to blind their attackers, but not before one of them gets a good stab in their client's arm.
Realizing that she is in a three (possibly four) on one battle in a locked room, she's possessed by a fear that quickly settles into an eerie cold calm. She is able to get their client behind her and freeze one assailant to the desk.
The fight is a haze of freezing, electrocuting, and melting people crawling through the broken window. As she cuts the lines of another two trying to swing into the room, she catches sight of a purple blur out of the corner of her eye. Distantly, she registers Diana crumpled on the floor holding her face, and that Madam Blue is nowhere to be seen.
She passes by Diana, though it does not occur to her to check on her, and instead goes for the last living assailant that's been frozen to the floor halfway to the door. She grabs him by the face and dispassionately Poison Sprays him to death before heading towards the now unlocked door.
Stepping out into the hallway, it takes her a moment to realize a fire burning on the floor below. Diana steps up next to her, grabbing her arm, and Amoré's last coherent thoughts are that her arms and face red and irritated.
Oh...Diana's weird eczema is acting up again...
