"that's very nice of you, i actually haven't gotten to eat anything in a long time"

"look for a way out? i don't know if there IS a way i can get out on my own.. i only know astonish to attack, and you can't really astonish a wall.."

"i haven't seen any movies since i was in my room, but, yes, i love movies very much."

"and since i have a lot of time to myself in here, i've actually come up with a few ideas for my own stories! not that i'd be able to actually make them, but thinking about them is fun to do!"

"i'd never seen anybody else. it was just me in my room. but now i have lots of new friends coming in and out of here! so there's no reason to be lonely anymore!"

"are you.. trying to give me a name? wow, i never thought someone would care enough about that to try to give me a name!"

drifloon stops and sits quietly, thinking about the proposal, trying to articulate their thought without sounding rude.

"it's not a BAD name, but i feel like if i WAS to get my own name.. i'd want to choose it myself. i think getting my own name would be a more personal or thought-out type of thingy, instead of someone else picking it for me."

"sorry to say no, but.. but no. no thank you, thank you though. but no."

cheerful and optimistic, drifloon doesn't remember how they got in this room, but is making the best of it anyway.

KNOWN FACTS-

drifloon can't seem to recall their name.

they don't remember anything before being in the room

drifloon takes the invitation without a second thought, running their hands curiously across the visitor's. they stroke slowly, savoring every touch and the feel of the heartbeat.

(they don't seem to notice that they're crying)

the drifloon looks at the new arrival. it seems.. exited. quickly, they rush over to you and flitter excitedly from position to position.

"i haven't seen another pokemon in here in.... well, EVER! you're real, right? you're actually there!? can i touch you!?!"

they're so exited by the visitor's presence, it takes a minute for them to register they were asked a question

"this place?"

the drifloon happily gestures to the padded walls of the room. they seem ecstatic enough just having some else here with them, but the second question visibly sparks confusion in them.

"uhm, i just woke up in the room. that's all. what else would there be?"
