Ford’s fingers curled against the tree, but he didn’t take it away. “It’s almost...”

@scrawling-stardumb My standards for "okay" are actually pretty low, I just want him to eventually make it back home and reunite with Ford. What happens between now and then can get as angsty as possible as long as there's a happy ending as payoff.

just a fanfiction recommendation if you have the time and interest. On Ao3, there is this fanfiction called Retrograde(I would give a link but tumblr didn't allow me). The Time Police kidnapped teen Stanley to prevent him breaking the project because they believe that would end up causing Weirdmaggeddon. The first chapter is from Fiddleford's POV and Stanford's coping methods to Stanley's unexplained disappearance

I’m intrigued but it’s also really sad, I might wait until the next few chapters are posted or do a tumblr search to see if Stanley winds up okay before I continue this

It’s- and I’m sure I already made a post about this- but what’s killer is that the Stan twins? They both sincerely care for one another and it’s shown rather explicitly that they miss each other even during that decade after the fight. Which, that’s arguably the time of all times for them to have moved on from each other, but they didn’t.

Stan still keeps that photo up in his car and Ford still writes about Stan in his journal.
