enzo became a single father at nineteen when his daughter’s mother walked out. dropping out of school, enzo got a job as a personal trainer to keep food on the table for the two of them. once rose was old enough to start school, enzo re-applied to ucla as a mechanical engineer major. 

rose graduated kindergarten a few weeks before her father finished his undergrad, she walked with him across the stage. enzo eventually went on to get his master’s and got a high level engineering job with the government. he was able to put rose through dance school and was able to send her to new york. when she graduated she returned home to los angeles to attend ucla, her father’s alma mater as a dance major. 

rose officiated her father’s wedding to dominic at age sixteen and was also enzo’s best daughter.

she is quirky and intelligent like her father is. she is also carefree and fun-loving which sometimes gives enzo chest pains.

👌 do they think they would be a good parent? - jkdfjkJKDF DEFINITELY NOT as much as he likes to appear to have all his shit together his self esteem hit rock bottom a long time ago. even if he would be a good dad (which. maybe? it depends on how much time he’s had to heal and grow by then) he definitely wouldnt believe so until he saw the kid actually like grown up and not miserable/horrible

😫 how do they handle a family member being stressed? - i think he kind of switches Off unless he’s actively making an effort not to. like other people’s real genuine feelings make him extremely uncomfortable, as we’ve seen before. to him it’s easier to just kind of. pretend it isnt happening? or that he doesnt care? than it is to deal with the fact that he has the power to potentially change their mood for the better or, more worryingly, fail at doing so
