My household went to check this out over the weekend and it was a blast. Not only does it recreate the galleries of curiosities and oddities associated with names like Barnum and Ripley, but the tour also covers how such establishments operated and why they morphed from standing museums with fixed addresses into traveling side shows (hint: it was Edison’s fault).
