What is the Change Name Policy on American Airlines Tickets?
American Airlines did not have a specific policy regarding name changes. However, airline policies can evolve over time, so it's best to refer to the most up-to-date information on the American Airlines website or contact their customer service directly for the latest details. That being said, here are some general points to keep in mind regarding American Airlines name change Policy:

Name Change: Most airlines have restrictions or fees associated with changing the name on a ticket. In many cases, name changes are not permitted or are subject to specific conditions. This is primarily to prevent the misuse of tickets or fraudulent activities.
Transferability: Airline tickets are generally non-transferable, meaning they cannot be transferred to another person's name. This policy helps prevent ticket scalping or unauthorized reselling.
Flexibility: Some airlines offer more flexible ticket options that allow for easier name changes, typically at a higher price. These may include refundable tickets or tickets with flexible change policies.
Documentation: When requesting a name change, airlines may require documentation, such as a copy of the passenger's identification or a marriage certificate in the case of a name change due to marriage.
Remember, these points are general guidelines, and specific policies can vary between airlines. It's always advisable to consult the airline directly or refer to their website for their specific name change policy and any associated fees or requirements.

▪️HAMAS “elects” terror leader Yahya Sinwar as their political leader as well.  Congratulations are pouring in from all over the Arab world, for the appointment of the worst mass murderer since ISIS and the Huti genocide of Rwanda.
▪️PRISON ABUSE CASE.. The detentions of five reserve soldiers suspected of the serious abuse of a Gazan terrorist mass murdering detainee at the Sde Teiman base have been extended until Sunday.

▪️FLIGHT CANCELLED?   you are due a refund!  In any case of a canceled flight, and its starting point or destination is Israel, every passenger has the right to choose between two options: a full refund or an alternative flight ticket. The refund will be paid within 21 days, and it includes the full cost of the ticket, including fees, levies and taxes.  If a person booked a round-trip flight from Israel with the same airline in one reservation, and only his outbound flight was canceled, he will be entitled to a refund for the return trip as well.  If in the middle of a round trip and the return to Israel is cancelled, the passenger will be entitled to a refund of half of the amount he paid.
In addition, in the event of a canceled return flight to Israel, the airline is obligated to "provide accommodation, food, etc. services for canceled flights, until the passenger is able to return. However, it is likely that a court will impose this obligation within the limits of reason."  https://www.calcalist.co.il/local_news/article/byv5wmrtr

I need to take a work trip to Germany, Leipzig to be precise. Should be a nice change from my NYC life.
I guess, your suitcase won't make it to Frankfurt... Then I guess I have to organize a replacement. Damn Airlines!
The only thing I can offer you so spontaneously is an old army backpack from GDR stocks, covered with graffiti tags, stickers and patches. Pretty heavy... And maybe not necessarily suitable for your classic suit… So, take your rucksckand head to the airport train station. Your train to Leipzig will depart in 20 minutes.
Shit, Frankfurt airport is bigger then expected. When you arrive, you thaught, that you missed your train. But luckily, the train is delayed by 15 minutes. Enough time, to relaxe. And for a smoke. You search the side pockets of the backpack. No cigarettes. But tobacco, cigarette paper. And weed. Shit, that could have ended badly at customs...
Ahh, smoking this feels great. I really needed to decompress a bit after this whole travel shitshow. Don't take offense, but a middelaged man in a conservative suit and a classic haircut smoking weed with an army backpack on the platform of the airport station looks a bit special... You have to admit that, too, when you see your reflection in the window panes of the high-speed train rushing in.
No one had told you that you had better have made a seat reservation. The train is packed. Getting a seat is out of the question. With a little luck, you will still get a seat in the dining car. You order a beer (what else in Germany) and check the contents of your backpack. On top of it lies a hat. It looks funny, you put it on. Otherwise, the backpack is not necessarily neatly packed. Everything is stuffed in more like this. There's a MacBook... You open it. And of course you know the password. Feels perfectly normal to open it. As normal as your pierced earlobes feel.
Tumblr media
It is a low-coding platform open to any Big Data AI application. You scroll through the application. Sure, the prototype of an app for digitizing queues in doctors' offices. You open the library of useer stories and start developing the app further. A few hours ago, you had no idea about software development.
It's 9:00 p.m. when you look out the window. Gotha train station. Wherever that may be. You are looking at your reflection. Let's see what the others think of the fact that you have let the beard grow out...
The train is half empty by now. You have not even noticed how it has emptied. It's still a good hour to Leipzig. You close the computer. That's it for today. You order another beer and the vegan curry. Actually, you're also in desperate need of a joint. But of course you can't smoke anywhere on this train.
But you take tobacco, weed, cigarette paper and your cigarette case, which you inherited from your grandfather. And while you're waiting for the food, you roll a few joints on reserve. It will be after 11:00 p.m. by the time you arrive at your shared apartment. But you assume that you will sit together until 01:00 or 02:00. Your roommates are all rather night owls....
You don't notice that you're wearing high-laced DocMarten's boots instead of welted penny loafers as you step off the train. You also don't notice that your hair has grown considerably longer and falls tousled under your hat into your forehead... You pause for a moment as you see the tattoos on the back of your hand as you light up a joint to tide you over until the bus leaves. And after asking the bus driver for a ticket to Connewitz, you wonder if you actually just spoke German with quite an American accent.
The elevator in your house is of course defective again. Old building from 1873, last renovated in 1980 or so. That was long before the fall of the Wall in the GDR. But the rent is cheap. And the atmosphere is energetic and creative. When you met Kevin, Lukas and Emma at university five years ago, you were immediately on the same wavelength. Even though you didn't speak a word of German back then. You would never have thought that a semester as an exchange student would turn into a lasting collaboration. The fact that you found an apartment together where you could work on your startup at the same time was a real stroke of luck.
Upstairs in the apartment, Kevin already opens the door for you. As if he had been waiting for you.
„Sieht heute gut aus”, you say with your strange American accent.
Kevin hugs you and answers „Dude, it's good to have you back! We have missed you! Tell me, do you have new tattoos? Looks hot! And did you bring weed from Amsterdam? Our dealer is on vacation... Shitty situation!“
“Of course, i’d never leave you without”, I say, opening up the cigarette case and offering you one of the hand-rolled contents.
Kevin grins. „What do you say we smoke the first one not at the kitchen table but on your bed? I missed you, stud!“
“I’m so tired after this trip, so the bed sounds just right.”
There is nothing left of your suit right now. Yes, you are still from NYC. But you weren't a lawyer then. You studied computer science. And that was a long time ago. Now you are a Leipziger by heart
You both lie on the bed. You take a deep drag. And blow the smoke into Kevin’s mouth with a deep French kiss. The bulge in your skinny jeans looks painful. “Oh man, Kevin, I need some relief!” you growl.
It doesn't take long and we both have the tank tops off. You discover Kevins new nipple piercings. And can't stop playing with them. And Kevins bulge starts to hurt too.
“Man, let me provide some relief”, he says. And open your jeans. Your boner jumps out of your boxers like a jack-in-the-box.
Those new piercings… You just can’t help yourself… You’ve gotta feel them in my mouth! “Are they sensitive? Does it still hurt?” Kevin starts breathing more heavily. “What are you waiting for you prude Yank! They've been waiting for you for two weeks now!” You take a deep drag and blow the smoke over Kevins chest, which you caress with your tongue. Kevin moans “Fuck! You're doing so well! Sure it hurts. It's supposed to. You make me so fucking horny with your tongue! I love your tunnels on the earlobes!. I can not stop playing with them with my tongue.”
Dude, your dick is producing precum like a broken faucet. Kevin starts to massage it into your dick! You take one last drag from the joint, push the butt into the ashtray and blow the smoke over Kevins boner.
While Kevin rubs your hard dick, You begin licking his uncut cock. Damn man, these uncut European cocks will never not surprise you! Oh man, you love how it feels on your tongue.
Kevin doesn't stop breathing heavily, but still has to grin. “Fuck, admit it, you certainly didn't just talk about user interfaces with Milan and Sem in Amsterdam. You did practice your tongue game. Fuck, you know how to bring someone to ecstasy with the tip of your tongue!”
Oh man, Kevins precum just takes so good. You can’t get enough of it. Kevin reads your thoughts. “I want to lick your precum too. Let's make a 69! I need to suck your powerful circumcised cock.”
Yes, please!, you think in ecstasy. You just love how his balls feel in my mouth. And Kevin has fun to. You must have been sweating like a dog on the trip. Your balls are salty, your cock is deliciously cheesy. “Fuck, I can not tell you how I missed you.” Kevin moans.
He always feels so good, just keep going please, you think. His cock is so hard. His precum is spectacular. It’s like you’re in sync — in and out, in and out, in and out. “Fuck, your balls are so huge”, Kevin grunts. “I didn't jerk off all the time you ve been away. My balls are bursting”.
You both are perfectly synchron. Like one organism. “Please cum at the exact moment that I also cum. I want to make this old house shake.”, you think. You can’t wait to make you explode. Kevins moans “I can't take it much longer. Fuck, you are a master with your tongue. Fuck... Oh yeah... Yes! Fuuuuuuuck!”
Oh god! That was heavy. You both really try. But that was too much. Boy, what a load you both shot! Kevins cum is so thick! So potent! You ’ve got my whole mouth full, not able to swallow everything at once. You both exchange a deep French kiss. The cum runs from the corners of your mouths down our cheeks and necks. Kevin licks the cum traces from your skin. And you his. One last kiss, you pull up our pants again. And go to the kitchen with a joint. Lukas and Emma grin. The whole house could listen to you having sex.
Tumblr media
“Incredible, as always, Kevin” You tell him, as you pass him the joint. And as if nothing had happened, you ask Emma if she has any new user stories for your app.

In all seriousness as someone who flies like once a month and is delighted by airports in general, here’s my advice for flying as easily as possible. These are America specific:
1. FOLLOW THE SIGNAGE. Airports *tend* to be well marked/signed and the signs are *generally* correct. Look to them first.
2. ASK FOR HELP. Airport staff are knowledgeable and pretty helpful. If you are lost and can’t find something, find someone.
3. GET PRECHECK. If you are able to get TSA Precheck, do so. It costs $85 and lasts 5 years. You sign up online and then go to a sign up location, often a location of an office supply store (for real). It’s not available to everyone depending on your life experiences, but if it’s accessible to you, it makes a huge huge difference.
4. GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW. Everything you can do online, do online. If you are American and flying domestically, but you have a passport, bring it. You can fly with a driver’s license as ID within the US and pretty much everyone’s licenses have been upgraded to the kind you can fly with. However, airport success is down to preparedness. Check in online as soon as you are able. If you have bags to check, add them to your reservation online. Some airlines have a strange, narrow window where you can add & pay for checked baggage online, like 18 hours before your flight but not less than 4 hours before. This is a right pain but if you can remember it, it makes a big difference.
5. WALK DOWN. If there are multiple available lines/clerks for something - check in kiosks, precheck, etc etc, never get in the first line you can see when you enter an area. Walk down to the last few rows. People tend to enter the first line they see. Further lines are often short or even empty because people get in the first line without checking.
6. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make a frequent flier account. Even if you’ll never fly this airline again. The purpose is not to collect miles, but to attach your ticket to an account you sign into (as opposed to manually locating it by confirmation number & email. Trust me on this.
7. USE THE ELECTRONIC CHECK IN KIOSK NO MATTER WHAT. Here are the steps for checking in on a flight the easiest, most reliable and foolproof way:
1. Check online before your flight. Usually available 24 hours before departure time.
2. Download the airline’s app, sign in with the account made (right?) and locate your flight. Add your boarding pass to your mobile wallet.
3. When you arrive at the airport, locate the electronic check in kiosk machines. Almost all airports have them. Locate the correct one for your airline. Scan the boarding pass already added on your phone at the kiosk. If you have bags to check, select “check bags” or “print tags.” Whether you have bags to check or not, select “print boarding pass.” If you are checking bags, apply the bag labels around the handles of your luggage. The instructions are on the labels. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE BIT YOU PEEL OFF THE STICKY SIDE it’s your claim tag if they loose your bag. Take your paper boarding pass.
4. If you are checking bags, go to the “bag drop for already checked bags” counter. If you are NOT checking bags, YOU ARE DONE. If you’re not checking bags, talking to the actual person at the check in desk is *not needed.* proceed to security.
8. Adjacent: PRINT AND USE A PAPER BOARDING PASS. I don’t care if it’s on your phone. Phones glitch. Things happen. get a paper one and use it.
9. CHECK THE AIRPORT BOARD. Sometimes flight gates will change or flights will delay and the apps will not update. The only *real* source of truth at the airport is the Board. Use your app, yes, but check the board to confirm.
10. TAKE A PRACTICE FLIGHT. If you are going on a long, major flight as your first ever flight, do a practice flight beforehand. Flights on the 3 biggest budget carriers - Frontier, Spirit, and Allegiant - to leave and return the same day or one day later can often be had for as low as $40-$70. This is worth the cost of admission to literally just fly somewhere to have the experience and fly back without ever leaving the airport. Flying with a cheap ticket just for fun will remove the element of panic, and allow you to practice and learn your local airport and then process so you’re experienced and confident when the chips are down.
11. For the love of god if you are flying through Atlanta - and if you fly Delta once ever you will - make sure you have at least 2 hours of layover time. It takes over an hour to walk from one end of the Atlanta airport to the other. You do not want to deal with this shit.
12. IN GENERAL, give yourself a TON of time. Get to the airport at least 2 hours early for domestic travel and aim for 3-4 for international. Does it take that much time? No, it doesn’t, but like everything else, the objective is to build in safety nets from problems and unexpected occurrences.
13. LOOK UP YOUR FLIGHT BEFOREHAND. Flights are run with the same numbers daily or weekly, often on the same planes. This is publicly available info. You can look up your flight on flight aware, flight radar, plane finder, etc etc. and see what sort of plane it’s on, if it’s usually on time, and every other bit of info you could imagine. Boeing 737s and Airbus a320s, which are the most common planes for domestic short hauls, have very narrow isles and can be hard to wheel carry-ons in. If you’re flying on one of these planes, choose a carry on with this in mind.
This is NOT EXHAUSTIVE. However!!! These are the things I have learned over the years to make the calmest, most enjoyable, problem-free airport experience. I have a number of steps, like paper passes and checking boards, that are theoretically not needed in the year of our lord 2024 and are regarded as Weird and a waste of time. However, the whole point of this list is to reduce points of failure and provide safeguards for common problems: missed flights, boarding passes not working, lost baggage, dead phones, and any other catastrophe you can think of. The key to a peaceful airport experience is preparedness and safety nets.
Happy flying 💗✈️

The US Department of Transportation clearly has a lot on its plate.
America’s infrastructure is not in great shape. The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) grades America’s roads, bridges, and public transportation a C- overall.
In fact 42% of US bridges are at least 50 years old, and nearly 7.5% are considered structurally deficient. 43% of public roads are rated as mediocre or poor.
Then there’s the sorry state of US railways, many of which are considered ancient by industry standards. And despite the “High Speed Ground Transportation Act” being passed SIX DECADES AGO in 1965, the amount of high-speed rail in the US is pitifully low.
There are also seemingly constant problems with US air traffic, especially at major airports.
But what has US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg done thus far during his tenure to address these challenges?
Well, after Congress handed him an astonishing $1 TRILLION to fix America’s crumbling infrastructure, he’s managed to spend $7.5 billion to build a grand total of seven electric vehicle charging stations across the country. Clearly that’s money well spent.
But now Secretary Pete has shifted his gaze to America’s biggest transportation problem.
It’s not highways. Or bridges. Or even electric charging stations.
Secretary Pete is now devoting precious taxpayer resources to regulating airline points... as in the frequent flier miles and other reward points that you get whenever you fly with a major airline or even sign up for a new credit card.
Last week, the government announced that Secretary Pete has “sent letters to American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines ordering them to provide records and submit reports with detailed information about their rewards programs, practices, and policies.”
First of all, what do credit card reward point have anything to do with infrastructure? And second, even if we want to accept Pete’s bird-brained logic, how could anyone possibly argue that airline miles should be anywhere near the Department’s top priorities?
Yet Secretary Pete is fixed in his duty. He claims that:
“...points systems like frequent flyer miles and credit card rewards have become such a meaningful part of our economy that many Americans view their rewards points balances as part of their savings... But unlike a traditional savings account, these rewards are controlled by a company that can unilaterally change their value.”
What an interesting point of view. Airline points are a form of savings that is controlled by a company which can unilaterally change its value.
Gee where might I have seen that before....
OH, I remember! Like how the Federal Reserve can unilaterally inflate the value of the dollar, i.e. the actual form of savings that people all over the world use? Or, even better, how the US government can destroy the value of the dollar through its reckless and irresponsible deficit spending?
It is utterly hilarious (though simultaneously pathetic) that Secretary Pete has no concept of this irony.
This is the guy who has spent $7.5 billion dollars on building seven electric vehicle charging stations, an average cost of more than $1 billion per charging station.
Guess what, Pete? Your staggering waste of taxpayer money has contributed to the decline in value of the US dollar. But, sure, keep going after those airline points, bro.
If you thought airline points were declining in value now, just wait to see how worthless they become once Pete starts regulating these programs. How many segments will you have to fly in economy class to rack up enough points for that family vacation to Key West next year? Pete will decide. It’s genius.
Sadly this is not an isolated issue within the Department of Transportation. Agencies all over the federal government have abandoned their core missions and are instead focused on their leftist agenda.
The Federal Trade Commission, for example, exists to protect consumers from monopolies. Instead they’re busy suing grocery store chains over “greed” and made-up threats to unions.
The US Committee on Foreign Investment exists to ensure that state secrets and strategic technology don’t fall into the hands of America’s adversaries. But this same agency is now killing a deal for US Steel to be acquired by a Japanese company (i.e. one of America’s biggest allies) because the labor unions don’t like it.
The list goes on and on. The State Department is handing out money to America’s sworn enemy in Afghanistan. The Treasury Department is setting up banking systems that fund terrorism.
Everything the government is doing is the exact opposite of what is needed to address THE largest threat to America— its massive debts.
They spend like drunken sailors and focus their efforts on destroying the economy... instead of allowing it to flourish and generate much-needed tax revenue.
And that’s why, even though America’s problems are still fixable, I highly doubt anyone in charge will use the rapidly closing window of opportunity to address them.
That’s why it makes so much sense to have a Plan B.
To your freedom,
James Hickman

KE AUPUNI UPDATE - JULY 2024
Tumblr media
Hawaiiʻs First National Holiday Next weekend Hawaiian Nationals will be celebrating the 181st anniversary of Lahoihoi Ea, “Sovereignty Restoration Day”. On February 11, 1843 a British naval officer Captain Lord George Paulet arrived in Honolulu to investigate a land dispute complaint filed by Richard Charlton, the British Consul to Hawaii. When negotiations with King Kamehameha III did not go his way, Paulet’s cavalier colonial response was to seize control of the Hawaiian Kingdom and place it under the British Crown. But unbeknownst to Paulet, three envoys from Hawaii — Timoteo Ha’alilio, William Richards and Sir George Simpson — were already in Europe negotiating with the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of France for formal recognition of the Hawaiian Kingdom as a sovereign nation. Upon learning of Paulet’s brazen action in Hawaii, they filed a protest with British authorities. On July 26, 1843 British Admiral Richard Thomas sailed into Honolulu harbor on his flagship HMS Dublin to put an end Captain Paulet’s illegal occupation. Reserving the right to protect British citizens, Adm. Thomas clearly affirmed Great Britain’s respect for the sovereignty of the Hawaiian Kingdom. On July 31, 1843 a ceremony lowering the British flag and raising the flag of Hawaii was held at a site now called Thomas Square in honor of the admiral and the occasion. The ceremony acknowledged Hawai‘i’s sovereign stature and restored King Kamehameha III as the rightful ruler. A phrase from the speech made that day by Kamehameha III at Kawaiah‘o Church, Ua mau ke eā o ka ‘āina i ka pono (The sovereignty of the land is preserved through righteousness), remains the official motto of the Hawaiian Kingdom to this day. Even the usurper State of Hawaii has adopted it as their state motto. Lā Ho‘iho‘i Ea For 50 years, from 1843 to 1893, Lā Ho‘iho‘i Ea, was celebrated as a week long national holiday marked by Hawaiian patriotism and all the best that our islands have to offer including music, crafts, games, food and community events. In 1893, Hawai‘i once again came under illegal occupation (this time by the United States) and Lā Ho‘iho‘i Ea, was banned in Hawai‘i, along with other national holidays such as Hawaii Independence Day, Lā Ku‘oko’a. Unlike the illegal occupation of 1843, the one that began in 1893 continues until today. However, Lā Ho‘iho‘i Ea experienced a rebirth in 1985 when Hawaiian national scholar, patriot and activist Dr. Kekuni Blaisdell resurrected this holiday to honor and celebrate our continued independence and sovereignty, despite the nearly century-long American occupation. This Hawaiian Kingdom holiday is now celebrated by a huge gathering at Thomas Square in Honolulu, and by numerous gatherings and activities throughout the islands. Happily, this year, even the US-installed puppet government, the “State of Hawaii”, is recognizing Lā Ho‘iho‘i Eā and Lā Ku‘oko’a, as two of the Hawaiian Kingdomʻs most important national holidays. Another sign that a Free Hawaii continues to rise…
“Love of country is deep-seated in the breast of every Hawaiian, whatever his station.” — Queen Liliʻuokalani ---------- Ua mau ke ea o ka ʻāina i ka pono.
