(Canon) They don't celebrate their anniversary - partly because neither of them are quite sure when things shifted from awkward acquaintances to being a couple. But after Amarië brings him to Valinor, they celebrate that day as their anniversary.

one of my favorite stupid things to do in fanfic is to throw two characters together who literally never interact. and then give them an entire, fleshed-out relationship dynamic that exists nowhere but my own head. yes they’ve literally never spoken. yes their relationship is important to me. hope this helps.

Amarië eyed the bread distrustfully and did not take it. She could go far longer than a day without food - and indeed, had before.

"No, thank you."

She looked up at Andróg, eyeing him. She was, perhaps, an inch or two taller than him, and he had clearly been living in the wilds with his merry band for many years.

If they hoped to find some money ransoming her, they would be disappointed.

She did not think that she’d have much success running - there were too many of them. She’d have to earn their trust first.

Andróg did manage to sleep, though only a little, and he was up early. Ignoring the elf, he ducked outside the tent, to get some breakfast and discuss their next move with Forweg.

A few hours later, he came back and handed her a hunk of dry bread.
