Silly Sofia the first movie old fan idea
So, I had a dumb idea for a sofia the first live-action movie idea. I found the document on my computer. So I thought I'd post the idea here lol.
It’s two days before Amber’s played by Regan’s coronation day as Queen of Enchancia. Cedric played By Jerry Trainor is in his tower making a hair growth potion. So he’s not constantly reminded of his past. But being the idiot that he is didn’t follow the instructions carefully. Young Sofia played by Lucie Vuong enters Cedric’s room and, asks him what is he doing? Cedric annoyed tells Sofia that he’s making a hair growth potion so he’s not constantly reminded of the past. Sofia tells him that she loves his grey bangs and, hugs Cedric after Cedric and, Sofia hug. Roland Played By Ryan Gosling enters Cedric’s tower and, asks Cedric to assist in prepping for Amber’s coronation. Cedric kindly accepts Roland’s offer and, he sets the potion down.
Sofia happily waves goodbye to Cedric and, Roland. As she’s waving, she accidently knocks over the hair growth potion or what she thought was a hair growth potion on herself. Nothing abnormal happens yet until the very next day.
The next day Sofia awakes to find herself as a 30-year-old woman played by Miranda Cosgrove. Sofia screams Roland thinking it’s Amber rushes up to amber’s room to realize that Amber is completely fine. Amber tells Roland that Sofia was the one that screamed. So, he rushes out of Amber’s room and, finds a young woman standing in Sofia’s room. Sofia panics as she looks at herself in the mirror and, says I’m old. Now it’s up to Cedric and, the gang to change Sofia back to her normal self before Amber’s big day.

Human Fall Flat || Van & Regan
TIMING: current. LOCATION: the woods! PARTIES: @kadavernagh & @vanoincidence SUMMARY: van is told there's a shortcut to worm row through the woods. she finds regan instead. CONTENT WARNINGS: none!
The night was long, and Regan was no closer to making sense of what she had seen. If she hadn’t been up in a tree, staring down at broken chains and the dwindling remains of her campfire, she wouldn’t have believed it occurred to begin with. She had sat vigil the whole night. The creature that had once been Gael tore up her coat (and her collected carcasses) and had eventually skulked off with a wobble, leaving Regan relieved that she hadn’t been torn up, but also very much stuck. Up was easy. Down was… a long way. She had no particular plan other than waiting out her anxiety and mustering up the bravery she had been able to summon last night for one last surge, but it would not come. Instead, footsteps. “Gael?” She called, a hopeful edge to her voice. But no, it was a child. And… one she knew.
Shame bubbled up inside her. Cliodhna would have had her wings for this; and she deserved it for her utter failure to use them properly. She closed her eyes against the humiliation and swallowed back what remained of her withering pride. It didn’t feel like she had much of a choice unless she wanted to live up here. Maybe that wouldn’t be so b– no, just iompar do miodóg féin, Kavanagh. “Van?” Regan called down, hugging the trunk of the tree, “Um, it’s Dr. Kavanagh. You wouldn’t happen to have a very long ladder, would you?”
Van had been told by a very reliable source that the only way back to Worm Row (gooless) would be through the woods. She wasn’t sure why she had listened to them, but she’d been desperate. She forced herself through the brush, trying her best to stay on trail. It reminded her of when she and Felix had come out into the woods and found the weird looking dog, only she was alone this time. Unless you counted her longboard which was virtually useless both in the woods, and in town since who knew where the goo would pop up.
What she hadn’t expected was a familiar voice saying her name. She knew not to answer, knew to go in the opposite direction. She was stupid, sure, but she’d seen scary movies and understood the implications of hearing her name in the woods meant, but instead of being faced with some kind of villain, she was looking up at Dr. Kavanagh who was… stuck in a tree in a Halloween costume? She wasn’t sure, but it looked like she was wearing wings of some kind. Van blinked up at the woman, confusion evident on her features. “I uh….” She looked around, “does it look like I am?” She wasn’t sure if they made ladders that could go small. Maybe she should look into that. “Hey, um, Dr. Kavanagh, what are you doing up in that tree? I thought you got got by the goo?”
Confusion was expected. Had their roles been reversed, Regan would have been rubbing at her eyes expecting Van to vanish when she could see more clearly. She wasn’t sure whether to count herself fortunate it had been Van passing by. Someone like Kaden would have been more useful, but she probably would have stayed quiet instead of shouting out for assistance. Van, at least, was a child, and no one would believe her if she started mouthing off about burrito-eating fairy people stuck in trees.
“No, you look like you’re walking through the woods alone, and that you might make an adequate snack for –” Hungry, amber eyes burned in her brain. For a second, it was like a cold rod was rammed down Regan’s spine. “-- Whatever is out here.” She sighed, staring the long way down at Van. “I had to ask. I’m… I’m stuck. Up here. In this tree.” She gestured to the side and nearly lost her balance before scrambling to hold onto the branch again. Her wings fluttered to reorient her. “Can you get a ladder?” A pause, and a horrid realization occurred to her. “You’re not lost, are you?”
Van created goggles with her hands, looking up at Dr. Kavanagh who was definitely wearing wings and definitely stuck. This was the second time that this happened. An adult stuck in a tree. Except there was no dog this time. Was there something else? She looked around briefly, wondering if something would pop out at them. She hoped not. That would be unfortunate.
“There are bears, probably.” Other things, too. She wondered if there were bugbears in the forest or if they liked to stay in the city, or in Nora’s case, the crypts. Van squinted up at the doctor in the tree. She looked a whole lot smaller without her coat. “You look very stuck. You know, this is the second time this has happened! I don’t think slim jims will help you though.” Not without something needing to eat it, at least. She looked around for something that could help Dr. Kavanagh, shrinking slightly as the older woman asked if she was lost. “Um… only a little bit, but it’s okay! They said if I go this way I can get home and avoid the goo. Is that why you’re out here too?” Van walked around the tree to see if there was anything that could be made into a makeshift ladder, but there was nothing. “How did you get up there anyway?”
Bears seemed like the least of anyone’s problems right now. Was not-Gael still out there? Regan had spent much of the night thinking about him, convincing herself her worry was borne out of practicality and nothing else, but she was no closer to figuring out what to do about all of this. “No, I’m quite certain this is the first time I’ve been stuck in a tree… here.” It was more like the fifth, but the other instances were back in Ireland. “What are you talking about? Slim Jims?” She squinted. Van seemed to dislike her question. Which was a bad sign. She was lost. “I know how to get out of here, but cannot get down. And you’re as stuck as I am. So you need to find a way to assist me.” Her pride writhed at the request. Cliodhna’s disapproving frown hung in her mind.
Regan sighed again. If she needed Van’s help – which she was now resigned to the fact she did – there was no point in dancing around how she got up here. Carefully, still clinging to the tree, Regan flicked out her right wings in show, before folding them back in place with a soft snap. “I flew.” Her eyes ticked to the side in annoyance, mostly at herself. “Without thinking it through, entirely. You can ask me questions that I will not answer later.” Though, maybe she should be warning others about Gael. No, she couldn’t think about that right now. “If you don’t have a ladder, how about something soft, with a good amount of give to it? Like a… trampoline?” Yes, Van was more likely to carry a trampoline than a ladder. Certainly. Actually… “My tent!” Regan’s eyes lit up. “Go over there,” she pointed, “and tell me if my tent is in one piece.”
“No, not you. I just meant another adult.” Van was a pro at this by now, or so she told herself. Then again, Inge had jumped out of the tree on her own and had been stuck only because of the dog. There was nothing here keeping Dr. Kavanagh in the tree other than herself. That was concerning. She knew fear, knew it like the back of her hand. Maybe she could talk Dr. Kavanagh down. Was it the heights? Was it whatever had chased her up into the tree to begin with? Van couldn’t be sure. “Yeah, like, to throw it at an animal. There was a dog, but– you know what, it doesn’t matter.” She was so sure that Dr. Kavanagh had been lost to the goo, her own imagination getting the better of her and the eagerness to inflate just about any situation holding her hostage from her own ability to think things through. Van frowned slightly as Dr. Kavanagh explained that they were both stuck if she couldn’t help her out of the tree. “You’re probably right.” Maybe she should have tied pieces of her shirt to the trees as she walked by. That would have been smart.
The wings, ever so apparent as Dr. Kavanagh twisted around, were unlike anything that Vanhad ever seen. She stared up at them, mouth slightly agape. She hadn’t expected them to be real and to move. Van had seen enough cosplay videos to know that there was no way anyone could get them to look that realistic. They weren’t like a bird, but some kind of insect, instead. She couldn’t place it, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to. All she knew was that she needed to help the doctor down from the tree so that other people knew she was no longer in the goo (if she ever was). Dr. Kavanagh was speaking and Van had to force herself to listen. She swallowed thickly, dragging her gaze away from the wings that were driven into the older woman’s back. They looked like they belonged there from what she could see. Like bugbears, were there other things? Surely there could be, but Van couldn’t focus or freak out about that now. Dr. Kavanagh was asking about a trampoline, and then… a tent? “Your tent, um–” She turned around, looking in the direction that Dr. Kavanagh had pointed.
“It’s… Shredder got to it, man. It’s not looking good.” Her voice shook slightly as she took in the sight of the tent, dismembered by long claw marks that ran from the top to the the bottom. It was misshapen and laying on its side as if it’d been battered by high winds. “Did you want to land on the tent? I don’t think that’s a very good idea.”
“Good child,” Regan said with an approving nod as Van wandered in the indicated direction. For a moment, she wondered if Van’s stunned expression would leave her face, but she seemed to be able to leave her questions behind for now. Regan was a poor liar, and she would worry about talking herself out of this one later. Functional, animatronic wings, maybe. Or a realistic Halloween costume. Regan cautiously shifted her weight on the branches, not liking how unsteady they felt; she was sure she heard a creak. “I camped out here, and there was an animal that – I needed to get away from it, quickly. It’s why you should not be out here like this.” If not-Gael hadn’t been able to recognize Regan, then what did it mean for others the creature came across? It could not be good. And it explained a lot about the blood Gael always found beneath his fingernails, the dead animals alongside him.
The small amount of hope she’d afforded herself was quickly dashed. “The animal did that. It destroyed my coat, too. And devoured the remains I was carrying.” Regan explained, and then tensed her tongue between her teeth. She couldn’t think of any other ideas. Children had such rich imaginations though, didn’t they? And Van had one of the richest. If creative but strange thoughts were currency, she wouldn't need to request money for being gay. “Can you think of an alternative?” Regan asked, and though there was a defensive edge to the question, her tone was open enough to humoring whatever Van would suggest.
Van wasn’t sure why anyone would go camping. It seemed stupid, especially with all of the moose they had in the area. Surely, some angry mama moose would stampede some campers. She’d seen it on the news before. Van threw a glance over her shoulder at Dr. Kavanagh. She wanted to tell the older woman that it was dumb to go camping in the woods because who knew what was out there, but she had willingly walked into the woods because she was told that it’d get her home and bypass the goo that had taken over her neighborhood. Now, she knew she’d been played.
“The remains?” She wondered if Dr. Kavanagh had lost another burrito. She really needed to stop eating them, it wasn’t fun for anyone. Van ran her fingers through her hair. She wasn’t really sure how to get Dr. Kavanagh out of the tree, but she knew she had to help her. After all, the pale haired doctor had helped her with the hay problem, so it made sense for her to repay her by getting her out of the dumb tree! “Um…” She whirled around as if something might come to her with the movement, but all it did was make her slightly dizzy. Inhaling sharply, Van looked up at Dr. Kavanagh in the tree, considering her next statement. “You can jump and I’ll catch you! You’re not like, that much taller than me so you shouldn’t weigh a ton and our weights will cancel each other out. It’ll work!” It probably wouldn’t, but it was the only thing she could think of. She couldn’t will herself to melt the tree, because what if that melted Dr. Kavanagh, too? Plus, she had no clue how to control it. She held out her arms, cradling what would soon be Dr. Kavanagh’s form. “I will catch you!”
Van was an especially small child, probably malnourished, and though Regan wasn’t especially tall or large herself, she could not imagine Van succeeding at catching her safely from such a great height. Or from any height. But… her wings fluttered at the thought of falling. She wouldn’t fall, not really. As much as she feared-but-definitely-didn’t-fear jumping out of the tree, they would give her drag, wouldn’t they? Slow her descent? “I don’t know…” She hesitated, looking down at Van’s determined eyes. They were so small from way up here, but her expression carried, and her arms were outstretched with such eagerness. “That is not how physics work. I’m more likely to crush and injure you.” Or worse. Although there was a noticeable absence of the urge to scream. “Van, that’s not – are you certain about this? What if I can’t slow my fall? What if I miss and hit the ground? Actually, that might be better. What if – no, I can’t do this. I won’t risk it. There has to be another way. You cannot –” There was that creaking again. And before Regan could redistribute her weight, there was a fierce snap, and the branch that had carried her all night finally gave way.
Regan’s lungs poured out as she fell, wings struggling to catch up with her momentum and stall it, as Van loomed larger and larger underneath her.
Van knew what she had to do. She needed to catch the burrito eating-puffercoated doctor. It was obvious she was afraid of heights! Plus, if Van were stuck in a burning building or something, Dr. Kavanagh would definitely save her! Probably. Maybe. When Dr. Kavanagh advised her that she might get crushed beneath her weight, Van shook her head. She doubted that was even possible. So what if she came away with a few bruises? There was no way else they’d get her out of the tree, so this was the only way. It needed to work.
Dr. Kavanagh was going on and on, warning her against the offer she’d provided the other woman. Just as Van was about to open her mouth to tell Dr. Kavanagh that she was definitely sure, the pale haired winged woman was falling (without grace, Van might have added) from the tree. Van had seen plenty of movies where people fell out of buildings and other people caught them, but it’d always been in slow motion. Maybe that was why she thought she could do this. But it wasn’t slow motion. Dr. Kavanagh was falling and she was rushing forward, hooking her arms underneath the woman, but dragged down with the same ferocity that’d been the branch breaking beneath the older woman’s weight. Van was sent to the ground beneath Dr. Kavanagh, at the very least breaking her fall. The wind was knocked out of her, but as far as she could tell, nothing was broken– most importantly, her legs. The wings were very visible from where she laid crumpled beneath the doctor and her eyes widened as she noticed them flutter slightly. “Those are real.” Of course. Of course Dr. Kavanagh was some bug lady. Of course. Her best friend was a bear, and the adult who took her to the zoo was a bug. Cool.
The world spun around her and she flapped as rapidly as she could but nothing could stop the inevitable crash landing straight into the overly optimistic child who had the misfortune of being in these woods, directly underneath a banshee falling from a tree. Regan made contact with what might as well have been the ground with a harsh thud, her bones and organs smacking against each other as she groaned. It hurt, but she could manage the pain. She was more concerned with Van, who was sandwiched between her and the hard ground. Regan vowed never to go that high up again, no matter the circumstances, as she rolled herself off of the child with a wince. “Bás síoraí. Van, are you alright? I didn’t mean to – ah, anus.” So much for refusing this plan. Regan palmed the ground, doing a mental check of each limb, each muscle. Nothing seemed broken. And Van didn’t look to be in terrible pain. Maybe her wings had been more successful than she thought they’d be.
Her wings. Which Van was staring at with huge eyes, like they were even more wondrous than those tigers at the zoo. Regan could practically see thoughts whirring in her head, an active mind trying to string together what it was perceiving. She snapped her wings tightly against her back at the accusation of them being real, and tried to angle them away from the child. Regan crossed her arms, eyes ticking around nervously, until they landed on the tattered remains of her coat. There was no way she could scurry into it – torn to shreds as it was – and hide what Van had already seen. “Give me your jacket,” Regan mumbled, extending an expectant arm in Van’s direction, fingers prompting impatiently. It would barely conceal half of her wings’ length, but it was better than nothing. Something inside of her bucked back at the demand she’d made. And she recognized what it was, even if she didn’t like it. She felt something: gratitude. With a sigh, Regan brushed some of the dirt off her clothes and looked Van in the eyes. “Thank you for attempting to help. I… appreciate it. You still owe me the bones you harbor in your home, but as far as children are concerned, you are tolerable, and kind.” Now, her eyes turned to the woods. Even in the daylight, they seemed ominous, as she thought of last night’s events. “Let’s get back to town... and tell me about this goo.”

Not to toot my own horn or anything but since @sweetninjainfluencer asked I'll come out and say that I was personally the one to name Amber in the 7k fandom however the fandom made the name stick not just me. I actually gave names for all of Varians cousins but 7k really has no set "canon" beyond the notes we were given so there's really no pressure to follow popular headcanons cause were all just making headcanons here so you can always feel free to play with the story and characters however you want, I've seen different takes on Varian's cousins.
Fun Fact: I personally made the names of Varians cousins by combining the chemical symbols on the periodic table to make names and the ones I got were Amber , Regan , Nick , Liam and Lira so if anyone thinks Varian having a cousin named Amber is cruel irony, uuuuh oops my bad, I made that without even trying to.
Fun Fact 2: The Nuru x Amber ship came from one of their interactions in a hunger games simulator generator the Vat7k servers were running and it kinda just stuck as a popular headcanon a lot of people like to roll with ever since.
I'll just post this without comment, since I'm not in the Vat7K fandom.
