A French regulator announced Tuesday it had fined the manager of Amazon’s large warehouses in France 32 million euros ($34.7 million) for excessive monitoring of its employees. The French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) said Amazon France Logistique gave employees scanners in order to record workplace tasks such as removing items from shelves and packing. This data was then used to calculate the “quality, productivity and periods of inactivity of each employee.” CNIL ruled it was “illegal to set up a system measuring work interruptions with such accuracy, potentially requiring employees to justify every break or interruption,” it said. The system for monitoring employee activity was described as “excessively intrusive,” including the company’s policy of keeping data and statistical indicators on employees for 31 days was also described as “excessive,” even in light of the “high performance targets” at the business. CNIL said Amazon France Logistique committed several breaches of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), specifically around data minimization and lawful processing.

The chemistry in season 2 of Reacher was honestly immaculate. It worked so well and everyone had their part adding to the team. And for once I can agree about the platonic relationship/ friendship between Reacher and Neagley. I didn’t finish season 1 so I didn’t know she appeared in season 1. But she’s my FAVORITE out of season 2. She’s obviously his right hand and even though she calls him boss, she’s his equal.

I did go back and watch her scenes from season 1 and they got butt ass naked in front of of each other and it was nothing. No lingering looks ( as they did look at each other to discuss what happened as they changed) or sexual undertones at all. But the friendship, respect and love is there.

Why no love for Reacher and Neagley?

These two have a closer relationship than the average marriage.

I couldn't find a gif from the season 2 finale when they gave their airshake, but it felt to me like Neagley wanted to close that distance to actually touch him. And Reacher actually looks hopeful that she might finally feel comfortable to make the contact, but she doesn't and he's fine, she's fine, they're fine.

Reacher is very attentive to Neagley compared to anyone else.

I haven't read any of the books completely but I've read snippets, went back and forth with book fans. I heard there's a few occasions where Reacher and Neagley do physically touch and even once for like several solid minutes. I confess I found the passage and it was special.

Reacher season 2 is over. They're already filming season 3 and based off what little plot there is I don't know if we'll hear from or see Neagley next season.

Reacher is supposed to have a wild card season where he operates alone. No family, friends, colleagues anything familiar so I imagine it's from one of those plotted books.

This was a middle of the night couldn't sleep waiting to get sleepy again posts but it still makes sense 😴
