I was inspired to draw a wittle bby steeve who is ready to stop being hand fed =D Despite Steeve being very hostile baby to all people who isn't Gordie, he wasn't so brave to stomp on the rat ^^ Still don't have whole lot of free time, so more sketches it is!

Happy 20th Anniversary to Monster Hunter, a series that has skyrocketed into my all-time favorites for its amazing gameplay and incredibly inspiring world. I've had so many great experiences playing the game with so many great people, and have loved all of the memories both in-game and out that have come of it.

To commemorate, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite commissions that capture the spirit of the series! There are so many more but you can only put so many in one post. Sianach

Better known as a carnideer, these mammals are endemic to the northern Asper woods and other bordering woodlands.

(specimen 402967 nicknamed “Snappy” in the Museum of Zoological Curiosity in Westhaven, TC. Donated after the Asperlan Cascade due to fears that the piece was haunted.)

For generations they were assumed to be folktales only ever seen by imaginative children, cowardly hunters, and drunks. But as people migrated ever northward having learned not to survive, but thrive in Asperlan, sightings began to be recorded by more reliable sources.

With the morphology of a deer possessing the teeth of a wolf or other canine, it had been justifiably assumed to be a hybrid fiend created by a dark wizard. However, various brown mage communities have been researching the theory that these carnivorous deer were a product of evolution.

As humans further populate Asperlan, these wild carnivorous deer will likely go extinct unless conservation action is taken. These animals compete with humans for a food supply, which has always spelled doom for every creature on this planet, but worse than that sainaches have been demonized as the perpetrators of the Asper Cascade and are exterminated anywhere they are found.

While carnideer are not blameless in the disaster that struck Asperlan, there is a garden sanctuary where a population is protected and being bred to develop a varying degree of coat colors and are sold to collectors. As symbols of divinity, deer species are typical members of mammalian menageries. This makes the sianach highly collectible to the less superstitious, as they are seen as “divine beasts corrupted into a blood hungry fiends.”

Welcome (back) to Dragonkingteo!

{{ Hey everyone! This is Amayensis (aka Teomod). As you may know I have recently revived this blog after about one year of inactivity and got an amazing welcome, as well as a bunch of new followers from Twitter and Insta (perhaps intrigued by my weird Kirin story?). Thank you everyone for your support!!

I really love this blog and this community so I want to make it live again. I can’t promise being super active for a long time or anything, but I would love to respond to a few asks here and there, I hope that will be enjoyable for everyone still. Thus, don’t hesitate to use the askbox ~

For those new here or simply those who never noticed, I have made a series of Character sheets for the main characters of Dragonkingteo (desktop version only I think). Each character has a short description that you can view below, if you want to get quickly familiar with the faces you may come across on this blog! Some of the characters also come with a detailed sheet, but keep in mind that they may not all be up to date yet. 

As an end note, the blog will turn 7 years old on February, 9th 2023, and this time I hope I won’t miss it...
