i feel like maybe the known dfl ass kissers IBEW are not in fact the best most reliable source of information about this. he signed no bills he made no orders, all we have to go on is that the IBEW (one of the smallest of the 12 unions involved in the rail worker negotiations just an interesting note) claims he said pretty please dont be inhuman dicks to ur workers to some railroads behind the scenes.
what we Do Know is that in the eleventh hour he trampled over the unions bargaining efforts and forced them to accept a deal in favor of the railroads all so it would remain illegal for any of them to strike
we also know that all 11 of the other unions managed to eek the same concessions from the rail unions, some winning 50% more sick days, with no aid from or credit given to the president whatsoever

#he is not truly pro-union i am so sorry to say its just something he says to go up in the polls- he does not walk the walk#this is not bitter at the IBEW i love the IBEW my only critiques of the IBEW is they should make pride merch because i would like to buy it#its just the unions leadership stands to benefit a lot from Biden looking good so take what they have to say abt him w a grain of salt#also no-striking clauses are a plague on this earth and striking should be a human right#labor tag#amax antics

watched venom 3 last night it was very bad
like irredeemably
#amax antics#not many movies i can say i regret watching but i paid real physical money to see that with my own eyes ill never get that back#maybe its bc i havent watched anything marvel in 2 years but the dialogue was so awful??? and there was no pacing to be heard of like#if something wasnt actively exploding or on fire it wasnt worth the screen time and they just jump cut it to oblivion#i sincerely cannot tell u if there were any heartfelt moments in the whole thing because all the talking scenes were there and gone so fast#u never got to see any of the actors reacting to dialogue it was all cut out#there were like 2 characters introduced at the start im like 80% sure i was supposed to feel bad for at the end#but i literally know not a single thing about them their whole characterization was squished into one line of dialogue i couldnt even hear#i dont even know this ladys name !!!! who tf is she !!!!!! why is sad music playing for her????????#like i Enjoy shitty superhero movies but the fuck was that#this was such a painfully lazy cashgrab everyone involved should be embarassed to put their name on it#godspeed to the fan creators u have absolutely nothing to work with#max goes to the movies

WGA NEGOTIATORS REACH TENTATIVE AGREEMENT
Important to note this does Not mean everything is totally cool now, there are still more sessions of arguing and polishing and the actual rank-and-file members still have to vote on whether they're going to accept it
But still very very good news !!! Shows that negotiations are going well even if this isn't the agreement we end up with.
