I know the book is over, but spare some headcanons of MC's relationship with Amalia's parents please? 🥺
Amalia's mother, Maria Rosalía Valdez, is an accountant; her father, Ramon de León, is a bank teller.
You stayed over so much when you were a kid. You haven't visited in a while, but they still buy your favorite cereal and know the recipe for your favorite breakfast.
On Christmas, they have a sock hanging on the chimney with your name on it.
Amalia's mom used to help you with math homework.
Your love for the sour lemon drops started because Amalia's dad used to bring a tin can of them home after work and give it to you and Amalia as a reward for being the best and most adorable kids ever.
Their photo album has several embarrassing pictures of you. There's definitely one where your "eat an entire cake -- no hands, mouth only" birthday wish has gone terribly wrong.
If you started dating her, they'd be THRILLED. There would be no awkward conversations about "treat my daughter well" because they already know you and they know you'll always take care of her. They might say "I'm surprised it took so long", though.

Speech! Speech! Speech! Speech! Will they give one, and what about?
You better believe he's gonna give a speech about his beliefs, about his truths, about his passions – his former job – his very own aeons. He will sing praises to Driscol himself, who embodies chaos and instinct. He will spin his best two-face compliments about Revena who symbols luck and harmony in his eyes, wilfully ignoring that he would be screaming blasphemy toward Xipe if he wasn't using Revena's name. Hyena will spent hours insisting that Abundance isn't the same as 'giving life' because Yaoshi is giving life in – well – too much. So Amalia is life, in his eyes, the right amount, the amount that creates a living being; or star. Therefore Ramon, the end, the judge, must exist. The aeon who must, surely, even guide destruction along the way. Of course no one ever heard of them, right? You don't question the sun coming up in the morning after all. His aeons are simply so... well, they are truths. Life and death, chaos and luck.
So yes, Hyena would give a passionate blaspheme speech toward almost every known Aeon. Besides Aha really, because Aha? That one is fun. That one is so close to his made up Aeon, they might as well be one and the same.

I’m here with Killervibe Mother’s Day news.
If Nora II exists (Season 7 bts spoilers) because Nora I was erased from the timeline, there is enough plausibility that Lia is no longer ill-fated in the future.
Tumblr media
Taking the killervibe headcanon that Lia (or Amalia) is the child of Cisco and Caitlin (whether biologically or by adoption) based off her characterization in 5x18, then she’s still alive
So happy future mother’s day Caitlin :)

February 22nd, 2020 - After having a good breakfast of beans and beefsteak, Ramon gave me a ride to the church which is in the center of town by the plaza. This church dates back to the 1600 century. I went to Amalias house that is on the corner of the plaza and down the street from the church. I knocked on the door, she was home. She looked at me and could not identify who I was for a minute. We had not seen each other since I was 15 and she was 13. She and Luz stayed with Arturo & Rosemary one year many moons ago. I gave her my name and she recognized me. We hugged and had a good visit. Her house is huge with beautiful furniture. It has a balcony overlooking the plaza. She has birds, chickens, dogs, cats, and a farm with cows. I met her granddaughter and son. He took me to see the ranch on the hill. The house is enormous but it has fallen into disrepair. Vandals have broken windows and stolen much of the furniture. There is a pool inside the house. What a place they built. We caught a ride back in the back of a truck. I arrived back at Luz’s house. And I had a great nap. Everyone here wants to take me someplace in the area. I’ll stay here over the weekend...

Hi. I couldn’t pick just one. But I’m feeling angsty and would love if you did either 4, 20, or 29 with Killervibe
Killervibe + a kiss on a scar
~.~
Caitlin frowned from the table when she heard a hissing sound coming from the kitchen followed by a concerning groan. She bookmarked her page and took off her cardigan, placing it over her chair. She walked into the other room to check in on Cisco. Caitlin was glad she took the cardigan off when a wall of heat hit her from the working oven.
"I heard you from the office," she said, peering over their daughter's shoulder to watch her answer a question on the cardiovascular system worksheet at the kitchen counter. "--This looks great Lia, but you misspelled aortic valve."
Her little tongue stuck out as she grabbed her eraser to fix her mistake.
"Hi. Pork roast." Cisco sighed, shaking out his hand.
Caitlin nodded, noticing the roast wasn't actually in yet, and that the oven was only preheated. "What happened?"
"The meat knife was dull so I had to put pressure on it." Cisco nursed his hand with his other, fingers clenched in a fist.
"Can I see?" She reached for his hand anyway. The scarring from the dagger all those years ago was but a faint line in his palm, but the new one was red and ugly and was taking a lot longer to heal. She relaxed his fingers and traced the scar with her thumb, checking for any splinters from the knife, in case it went through the bandage. She'd have to change that later tonight. "Is it hurting now?"
He shrugged the way he always did when he didn't want Caitlin to worry. Still, she worried. "I'm sorry, honey." His hand still wrapped in hers, she brought it to her lips to kiss. "Upset that I'm still no expert micro-surgeon?"
Cisco shook his head, mouth curving up just a bit. "Upset that I only got one kiss."
Caitlin smiles and kisses the bandage lightly again. "Let's stick that pork back in the freezer. We can order in."
Amalia cheered from her homework.

Presents for Lia
Happy birthday @irisswest !
Enjoy the Killervibe family fluff!
~.~
Cisco walked in through the front door, smiling at Caitlin as she waved at him from her chair. She was negotiating about balloons or something with Iris.
He dropped the bags from his errand run in the hallway and removed his leather coat, placing it on the coat rack.
He'd gone out this morning to make sure everything was ready on time for this afternoon. He wondered if Caitlin managed to get some of that cleaning she said she wanted to have done.
Cisco looked around. It didn't seem like anything got put away, likely Iris had Caitlin on the phone for at least half an hour.
He chuckled, shaking his head. Sometimes he swore Iris would've been an event planner if not for her talent for journalism.
Inside the extra bedroom, Cisco walked in quietly and knelt down beside the little purple bed.
"Happy birthday 'Lia," he whispered, his heart swelling with love at her sleepy sigh.
Caitlin had put her down for a nap because she'd been jumping all over the place earlier, too excited to sit still for her breakfast. Last night she woke up about a dozen times, running into their bedroom to pry their eyelids open asking if it was her party yet.
Now, spread out starfish in her leggings and Killer Frost t-shirt, she'd clearly zonked herself out.
Cisco stroked her cheek, waking her up gently. Small tiny fist rubbed at her face as she yawned, then lit up like she always did when she saw her Daddy.
Cisco picked her up, hiking her onto his hip as he opened her wardrobe that they'd meticulously organized.
"We've got to get you dressed little miss," he said. "We're having a big party with Uncle Barry and Auntie Iris and Nora and Don."
She brightened up, reaching out to touch the frill of one of the dresses her considered to put her in. It had to be nice enough for pictures but not too fancy that they couldn't machine wash it right after she ultimately dropped her piece of cake into her lap.
"Because I'm five now!"
"Yes," he told her. "Exactly because of that."
They ended up picking a blue sundress with bell sleeves and stockings that paired well with little mary janes that Caitlin had bought a few weeks ago.
He pulled her shirt off and tickled her belly button, giggling with her as she shrieked.
"Up!" he said as he raised her arms, she stood up on her bed, stretching her hands up obediently as he helped her undress, then sat her back down so he'd be able to pull up her stockings.
Her hair was all curly and wild from her nap, so he'd found a headband and to use as a comb so that they wouldn't fall all over her eyes.
When he looked at her, he saw Caitlin. A tiny Caitlin with a head full of dark coiled hair. She was so beautiful. Cisco's little girl.
"There you go," he clasped his hand in hers and gave her a little spin. Her dress skirt flared up around her like a dancer.  "You look so pretty! Let's go show Mama."
Before he could say another word, a blue kiddie breach emerged in the room, and Amalia hopped into it. Cisco rolled his eyes when he heard her animated voice down the hall, talking to Caitlin. He walked down after her, relieved to see at least that Caitlin's phone call was now over.
He leaned against the doorframe with a smirk, watching his two favourite girls together. Caitlin looked up, meeting his eyes with a similar fond smile.
"Balloon problem saved?" he asked.
She let out a little laugh. "It was about the party hats. Nora and Don apparently refused to wear anything on their heads after getting their hair combed by Barry. Something about speed coiffing gone wrong."
Cisco winced. "Ouch."
"Yeah," she said. "She wanted to know if they wanted to try birthday pins instead. I said not to bother."
"Good plan."
Caitlin pulled Amalia onto her lap, praising how nicely she was put together for her party. "I see you're up from your nap."
"Yep!" she said, shuffling around so she could wrap her arms around Caitlin's neck. "I wasn't even tired!"
Cisco scoffed. "You sure about that, Ace?"
She turned to frown at him. He stuck out his tongue.
"Mama I want to play with my presents!"
"You'll get to after you open them."
"But I want to use the colouring books! We can colour while we wait for Auntie Iris!"
Cisco straightened his back, not sure if he heard right. He shot Caitlin a befuddled look. "Uh-Your, um...Colouring books? Who said anything about colouring books?"
"I saw them!" she said confidently, climbing off Caitlin's lap to point at the plastic bags Cisco had just brought into the house.
Caitlin's eyes widened. "Uh, sweetheart," she said. "We didn't buy you any..."
"Uhhhhh...." Cisco said, scratching the back of his neck. "Actually--"
Caitlin stared at him for a moment. He flashed her a sheepish grin. She rose an eyebrow.
Really? she mouthed, nodding over to the mountain of presents they'd already wrapped for her last night. None of them included colouring books.
They both looked down at their daughter, who looked awfully pleased with herself.
"Can I colour, Daddy? Please!"
Cisco sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he waved at her to go and open the bags from his last-minute shopping. She pulled out three new books that she didn't need then ran over to the baby swing to show them to her baby brother. "Come on DS! Wake up! It's time to party!"
"Well," said Caitlin. "She's only going to get older and more in tune with her powers. We can kiss surprise parties goodbye."
"I don't know how I feel about this," Cisco grumbled. Not about Amalia getting better at vibes and breaches, but about their baby growing up, although he might need to find some temporary solution for that if she decided to just skip out on them. They couldn't have her deciding to ditch them whenever she pleased. He made a mental note to talk to Caitlin later about a potential temporary tracking chip for her shoes, then stored it for later.
Caitlin got up from her chair. She looped her arms around his waist and leaned her head against his shoulder as they watched Amalia try to wake DS with little success.
"Yes," she sighed. Cisco kissed his wife's hair, holding her close, swaying her a bit as they savoured this moment. "Our little Vibeling."
"Blizzard and Vibelle," he teased.
Caitlin wrinkled her nose. "You’re losing your touch, that's awful! Hopefully, she doesn't' ask for a codename for several more birthdays." She glanced at their son though, considering. "Actually...maybe I like Blizzard."
Amalia dropped her books suddenly. "Ice cream cake!"
Cisco looked at Caitlin with a funny face.
"Tell me you actually bought the funfetti rainbow cake as we planned."
"Uh," said Cisco guiltily.
Caitlin ran to his dropped bags to fish out the container from Dairy King to keep it frozen.
Cisco went after Amalia, who'd gone looking for more treats. "Girl, get your hands off those cake pops!"
He scooped her up and kissed her cheek, throwing her over his back to keep an eye on her.
"Can I tell Nora that I'm cooler than her 'cause I get two cakes?!"
"No."
"No!"

"Do you think we'll find it?"
Chubby little hands pulled on Caitlin’s sweater to get her attention as she talked to the librarian at the front desk. She squatted down next to her son to talk to him.
“Do you think we’ll find it?” Dante Stein asked her, eyes wide and bottom lip trembling.
He lost his Flash teddy bear in the dinosaur section at storytime. By the time they realized it was gone it was no longer there.
Caitlin wiped the cold tears from the corner of his eyes and picked him up against her hip. He dropped his head against her shoulder. “They’re going to look in the lost and found for us. We’ll do the best we can to find Flash.”
“Yeah, don’t cry DS!” Amalia said, jumping in her light-up sneakers. She snuck her little Vibe goggles out of her backpack stuffed with books 9-22 of Nancy Drew. The ones Cisco had designed to look like kiddie-sunglasses. “If the grown-ups can’t find it then I will!”
