Yknow never liked the idea about a child being "under control". Imagine if u spoke about any of ur other relationships like that. How I see it, if you treat a kid like a person and set a good example, they're gonna, for the most part, find their way. And you won't always agree, but they have the right to fuck around and find out, and that's how you learn. Let them do that. And sometimes its gonna hurt and your gonna want to save them, but if it won't ruin their life, leave them be. And if its just annoying, well get over it. And if its weird, well get over it! And if you just don't like it, grow up! And if you just want to tell them to do things and have them do it, because you're the parent, because it makes you angry if they don't? Get therapy.
